Let $(S,M,U)$ be a marked orbifold with or without punctures and let $\mathcal A_v$ be a quantum cluster algebra from $(S,M,U)$ with arbitrary coefficients and quantization. We provide combinatorial formulas for quantum Laurent expansion of quantum cluster variables of $\mathcal A_v$ concerning an arbitrary quantum seed. Consequently, the positivity for the quantum cluster algebra $\mathcal A_v$ is proved.
We give the quantum Laurent expansion formula for the quantum cluster algebras from unpunctured orbifolds with arbitrary coefficients and quantization. As an application, positivity for such class of quantum cluster algebras is given. For technical reasons, it will always be assumed that the weights of the orbifold points are 2.
We generalize the construction of the bangle, band and the bracelet bases for cluster algebras from orbifolds to the case where there is only one marked point on the boundary.
We generalize the construction of the bracelet and bangle bases defined by Musiker, Schiffler and Williams, and the band basis defined by D. Thurston to cluster algebras arising from orbifolds. We prove that the bracelet bases are positive, and the bracelet basis for the affine cluster algebra of type $C_n^{(1)}$ is atomic. We also show that cluster monomial bases of all skew-symmetrizable cluster algebras of finite type are atomic.
Drinfeld orbifold algebras are a type of deformation of skew group algebras generalizing graded Hecke algebras of interest in representation theory, algebraic combinatorics, and noncommutative geometry. In this article, we classify all Drinfeld orbifold algebras for symmetric groups acting by the natural permutation representation. This provides, for nonabelian groups, infinite families of examples of Drinfeld orbifold algebras that are not graded Hecke algebras. We include explicit descriptions of the maps recording commutator relations and show there is a one-parameter family of such maps su…
Skew-gentle algebras are a generalisation of the well-known class of gentle algebras with which they share many common properties. In this work, using non-commutative Gröbner basis theory, we show that these algebras are Koszul and that the Koszul dual is again skew-gentle. We give a geometric model of their bounded derived categories in terms of polygonal dissections of orbifold surfaces establishing a correspondence between curves in the orbifold and indecomposable objects. Moreover, we show that the orbifold dissections encode homological properties of skew-gentle algebras such as their sin…
This is an extended abstract of my talk at the Oberwolfach Workshop "Representation Theory of Quivers and Finite-Dimensional Algebras" (February 12 - February 18, 2023 ). It is based on a joint work with R. Bennett-Tennenhaus (arXiv:2303.05326).
Drinfeld orbifold algebras deform skew group algebras in polynomial degree at most one and hence encompass graded Hecke algebras, and in particular symplectic reflection algebras and rational Cherednik algebras. We introduce parametrized families of Drinfeld orbifold algebras for symmetric groups acting on doubled representations that generalize rational Cherednik algebras by deforming in degree one. We characterize rich families of maps recording commutator relations with their linear parts supported only on and only off the identity when the symmetric group acts on the natural permutation re…
Calabi-Yau algebras are particularly symmetric differential graded algebras. There is a construction called `Calabi-Yau completion' which produces a canonical Calabi-Yau algebra from any homologically smooth dg algebra. Homologically smooth dg algebras also form a 2-category to which the construction of `equivariant completion' can be applied. In this theory two objects are called `orbifold equivalent' if there is a 1-morphism $X$ with invertible quantum dimensions between them. Any such relation entails a whole family of equivalences between categories. We show that an orbifold equivalence be…
We generalise the expansion formulae of Musiker, Schiffler and Williams, obtained for cluster algebras from orientable surfaces, to a larger class of coefficients which we call principal laminations. In doing so, for any quasi-cluster algebra from a non-orientable surface, we are able to obtain expansion formulae for each cluster variable with respect to any initial quasi-triangulation $T$, and any choice of principal lamination. Moreover, generalising the `separation of additions' formula of Fomin and Zelevinsky, we settle a conjecture of Lam and Pylyavskyy in the setting of quasi-cluster alg…
In this paper, we build the unfolding approach from acyclic sign-skew-symmetric matrices of finite rank to skew-symmetric matrices of infinite rank, which can be regard as an improvement of that in the skew-symmetrizable case. Using this approach, we give a positive answer to the problem by Berenstein, Fomin and Zelevinsky in \cite{fz3} which asks whether an acyclic sign-skew-symmetric matrix is always totally sign-skew-symmetric. As applications, the positivity for cluster algebras in acyclic sign-skew-symmetric case is given; further, the $F$-polynomials of cluster algebras are proved to hav…
