In the present manuscript, approximate solution for 1D heat conduction equation will be sought with the Septic Hermite Collocation Method (SHCM). To achieve this goal, by means of the roots of both Chebyschev and Legendre polinomials used at the inner collocation points, the pseudo code of this method is found out and applied using Matlab, one of the widely used symbolic programming platforms. Furthermore, to illustrate the accuracy and effectiveness of this newly presented scheme, a comparison among analytical and numerical values is investigated. It has been illustrated that this scheme is both accurate and effective one and at the same time can be utilized in a successful way for finding out numerical solutions of several problems both linear and nonlinear.

In this paper we propose a collocation method for solving some well-known classes of Lane-Emden type equations which are nonlinear ordinary differential equations on the semi-infinite domain. They are categorized as singular initial value problems. The proposed approach is based on a Hermite function collocation (HFC) method. To illustrate the reliability of the method, some special cases of the equations are solved as test examples. The new method reduces the solution of a problem to the solution of a system of algebraic equations. Hermite functions have prefect properties that make them usef…
We propose a new class of SBVPs which deals with exothermic reactions. We also propose four computationally stable methods to solve singular nonlinear BVPs by using Hermite wavelet collocation which are coupled with Newton's quasilinearization and Newton-Raphson method. We compare the results obtained with Hermite Wavelets with Haar wavelet collocation. The efficiency of these methods are verified by applying these four methods on Lane-Emden equations. Convergence analysis is also presented.

We develop a numerical method for solving the boundary value problem of The Linear Seventh Ordinary Boundary Value Problem by using seventh degree B-Spline function. Formulation is based on particular terms of order of seventh order boundary value problem. We obtain Septic B-Spline formulation and the Collocation B-spline Method is formulated as an approximation solution. We apply the presented method to solve an example of seventh-order boundary value problem which the results show that there is an agreement between approximate solutions and exact solutions. Resulting low absolute errors show…
The present article is devoting a numerical approach for solving a fractional partial differential equation (FPDE) arising from electromagnetic waves in dielectric media (EMWDM). The truncated Bernoulli and Hermite wavelets series with unknown coefficients have been used to approximate the solution in both the temporal and spatial variables. The basic idea for discretizing the FPDE is wavelet approximation based on the Bernoulli and Hermite wavelets operational matrices of integration and differentiation. The resulted system of a linear algebraic equation has been solved by the collocation met…
When using Laguerre and Hermite spectral methods to numerically solve PDEs in unbounded domains, the number of collocation points assigned inside the region of interest is often insufficient, particularly when the region is expanded or translated to safely capture the unknown solution. Simply increasing the number of collocation points cannot ensure a fast convergence to spectral accuracy. In this paper, we propose a scaling technique and a moving technique to adaptively cluster enough collocation points in a region of interest in order to achieve a fast spectral convergence. Our scaling algor…
