By implementing the gravitational decoupling method, we find the deformed AdS-Schwarzschild black hole solution when there is also an additional gravitational source, which obeys the weak energy condition. We also deliberately choose its energy density to be a certain monotonic function consistent with the constraints. In the method, there is a positive parameter that can adjust the strength of the effects of the geometric deformations on the background geometry, which we refer to as a deformation parameter. The condition of having an event horizon limits the value of the deformation parameter to an upper bound. After deriving various thermodynamic quantities as a function of the event horizon radius, we mostly focus on the effects of the deformation parameter on the horizon structure, the thermodynamics of the solution and the temperature of the Hawking- Page phase transition. The results show that with the increase of the deformation parameter: the minimum horizon radius required for a black hole to have local thermodynamic equilibrium and the minimum temperature below which there is no black hole decrease, and the horizon radius of the phase transition and the temperature of the first-order Hawking-Page phase transition increase. Furthermore, when the deformation parameter vanishes, the obtained thermodynamic behavior of the black hole is consistent with that stated in the literature.
We study the quantum corrections to the four-dimensional Schwarzschild Anti de Sitter black hole using effective field theory approach. We compute the quantum correction to Hawking temperature upto order $\mathcal{O}{(G^{2})}$ for a Schwarzschild AdS black hole when the emitted object is massless and massive. We use the expression of the modified horizon radius to compute the quantum corrected entropy upto order $\mathcal{O}{(G^{2})}$. Finally we compute quantum corrected thermodynamic parameters specific heat, free energy and pressure.
Recently, two kinds of deformed schwarzschild spacetime have been proposed, which are the black-bounces metric (\cite{2019JCAP...02..042S,2021PhRvD.103h4052L}) and quantum deformed black hole (BH) (\cite{2021arXiv210202471B}). In present work, we investigate the rotating spacetime of these deformed Schwarzschild metric. They are exact solutions to the Einstein$'$s field equation. We analyzed the properties of these rotating spacetimes, such as event horizon (EH), stationary limit surface (SIS), structure of singularity ring, energy condition (EC), etc., and found that these rotating spacetime …
A family of deformed AdS$_5$-Schwarzschild black branes is here derived, employing the membrane paradigm of AdS/CFT. The solution of the Einstein-Hilbert action, with the Gibbons-Hawking term and a counter-term that eliminates eventual divergences, yields a partition function associated with the dual theory which allows the computation of the entropy, pressure and free energy, as state functions, in the canonical ensemble. AdS/CFT near-horizon methods are then implemented to compute the shear viscosity-to-entropy ratio, then restricting the range of the parameter that defines a family of defor…
We globally embed (3+1)-dimensional Schwarzschild and Schwarzschild-AdS black holes in massive gravity into (5+2)-dimensional flat spacetimes. Making use of embedding coordinates, we directly obtain the generalized Hawking, Unruh and freely falling temperatures in a Schwarzschild and Schwarzschild-AdS black hole due to massive graviton effects.

Recently an anomalous decay rate of the quasinormal modes of a massive scalar field in Schwarzschild black holes backgrounds was reported in which the longest-lived modes are the ones with higher angular number, for a scalar field mass smaller than a critical value, while that beyond this value the behaviour is inverted. In this work, we extend the study to other asymptotic geometries, such as, Schwarzschild-de Sitter and Schwarzschild-AdS black holes. Mainly, we found that such behaviour and the critical mass are present in the Schwarzschild-de Sitter background. Also, we found that the value…
Based on the perturbation expansion, we compute the noncommutative corrections to the minimal surface areas of the pure AdS spacetime and Schwarzschild-AdS black hole, where the noncommutative background is suitably constructed in terms of the Poincaré coordinate system. In particular, we find a reasonable tetrad with subtlety, which not only matches the metrics of the pure AdS spacetime and Schwarzschild-AdS black hole in the commutative case, but also makes the corrections real rather than complex in the noncommutative case. For the pure AdS spacetime, the nocommutative effect is only a loga…
We have studied scattering of a probe particle by a four dimensional AdS-Schwarzschild black hole at large impact factor. Our analysis is consistent perturbatively to leading order in the AdS radius and black hole mass parameter. Next we define a proper "soft limit" of the radiation and extract out the "soft factor" from it. We find the correction to the well known flat space Classical Soft graviton theorem due to the presence of an AdS background.
In this paper we construct a non-commutative gauge theory for the deformed metric corresponding to the modified structure of a gravitational field in the case of Yukawa-Schwarzschild non-commutative space-time. The thermodynamic properties and corrections to the gravitational force on the horizon of a non-commutative Yukawa-Schwarzschild black hole are analysed.
A family of deformed AdS4-Reissner-Nordström black branes, governed by a free parameter, is derived using the ADM formalism, in the context of the membrane paradigm. Their new event horizons, the Hawking temperature and other aspects are scrutinized. AdS/CFT near-horizon methods are then implemented to compute the shear viscosity-to-entropy ratio for the deformed AdS4-Reissner-Nordström metric. The Killing equation is shown to yield new values for the free parameter and the shear viscosity-to-entropy ratio is used to derive a reliable range for tidal charge.
We study the problem of construction of global isometric embedding for spherically symmetric black holes with negative cosmological constant in various dimensions. Firstly, we show that there is no such embedding for 4D RN-AdS black hole in 6D flat ambient space, completing the classification which we started earlier. Then we construct an explicit embedding of non-spinning BTZ black hole in 6D flat ambient space. Using this embedding as an anzats, we then construct a global explicit embedding of (d)-dimensional Schwarzschild-AdS black hole in a flat (d+3)-dimensional ambient space.
We find generators of the conformal symmetry for the class of Kerr-Newman-NUT-AdS black holes from the deformed scalar probe equation. We find two classes of solutions for the generators (also known as conformal J and Q pictures). The two classes of deformed generators are the extension of similar generators for the regular conformal symmetry. Moreover, we find that the two pictures can be generalized and extended into a general picture. In each picture, the generators produce an extended local family of SL(2,R)_L \times SL(2,R)_R hidden conformal symmetries for the Kerr-Newman-NUT-AdS black h…
A family of deformed black branes is employed to examine the confinement/deconfinement phase transition in AdS/QCD. The holographic entanglement entropy (HEE) plays the role of the order parameter driving the confinement/deconfinement phase transition. The binding energy of quark-antiquark bound states and the critical length that makes a null variation of the HEE, together with the critical temperature separating the deconfined quark-gluon plasma to the confined hadronic phase, are discussed in the deformed black brane background, matching current experimental hadronic data.
In this work we consider AdS$_3$ gravitational theory with certain mixed boundary conditions at spatial infinity. Using the Chern-Simons formalism of AdS$_3$ gravity, we find that these boundary conditions lead to non-trivial boundary terms, which, in turn, produce exactly the spectrum of the $T\bar{T}/J\bar{T}$-deformed CFTs. We then follow the procedure for constructing asymptotic boundary dynamics of AdS$_3$ to derive the constrained $T\bar{T}$-deformed WZW model from Chern-Simons gravity. The resulting theory turns out to be the $T\bar{T}$-deformed Alekseev-Shatashvili action after disenta…
A sufficiently large Schwarzschild AdS black hole with the Hawking temperature has a positive heat capacity and undergoes the Hawking-Page phase transition. Even though an arbitrary isothermal surface of a cavity is introduced, the essential features about the stability and phase transition of the Schwarzschild AdS black hole remain the same. In this paper, we study the stability and the Hawking-Page phase transition of the Schwarzschild AdS black hole by employing an alternative local temperature satisfying the Hartle-Hawking vacuum condition which states that the ingoing and outgoing fluxes …
Following the recent observation that the Ricci flow and the infinite distance swampland conjecture are closely related to each other, we will investigate in this paper geometric flow equations for AdS space-time geometries. First, we consider the so called Yamabe and Ricci-Bourguignon flows and we show that these two flows - in contrast to the Ricci flow - lead to infinite distance fixed points for product spaces like $AdS_d\times S^p$, where $AdS_d$ denotes d-dimensional AdS space and $S^p$ corresponds to a p-dimensional sphere. Second, we consider black hole geometries in AdS space time geo…
The geometric optics approximation provides an interpretation for eikonal correspondence that, in black-hole-containing spacetimes, connects high-frequency black hole quasinormal modes with closed photon orbits around said black hole. This correspondence has been identified explicitly for Schwarzschild, Reissner-Nordström, Kerr, and Kerr-Newman black holes, the violation of which can be a potential hint toward physics beyond General Relativity. Notably, the aforementioned black hole spacetimes have sufficient symmetries such that both the geodesic equations and the master wave equations are se…
We prove the existence of asymptotically hyperbolic solutions to the vacuum Einstein constraint equations with a marginally outer trapped boundary of positive mean curvature, using the constant mean curvature conformal method. As an application of this result, we verify the Penrose inequality for certain perturbations of Schwarzschild Anti-de Sitter black hole initial data.
