The weighted Yamabe flow was the geometric flow introduced to study the weighted Yamabe problem on smooth metric measure spaces. Carlotto, Chodosh and Rubinstein have studied the convergence rate of the Yamabe flow. Inspired by their result, we study in this paper the convergence rate of the weighted Yamabe flow.
Let $(M^n,g,e^{-ϕ}dV_g,e^{-ϕ}dA_g,m)$ be a compact smooth metric measure space with boundary with $n\geqslant 3$. In this article, we consider several Yamabe-type problems on a compact smooth metric measure space with or without boundary: uniqueness problem on the weighted Yamabe problem with boundary, characterization of the weighted Yamabe solitons with boundary and the existence of positive minimizers in the weighted Escobar quotient.
We introduce a Yamabe-type flow \begin{align*} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} \frac{\partial g}{\partial t} &=(r^m_ϕ-R^m_ϕ)g \\ \frac{\partial ϕ}{\partial t} &=\frac{m}{2}(R^m_ϕ-r^m_ϕ) \end{array} \right. ~~\mbox{ in }M ~~\mbox{ and }~~ H^m_ϕ=0 ~~\mbox{ on }\partial M \end{align*} on a smooth metric measure space with boundary $(M,g, v^mdV_g,v^mdA_g,m)$, where $R^m_ϕ$ is the associated weighted scalar curvature, $r^m_ϕ$ is the average of the weighted scalar curvature, and $H^m_ϕ$ is the weighted mean curvature. We prove the long-time existence and convergence of this flow.
We study the Yamabe flow on compact Riemannian manifolds of dimensions greater than two with minimal boundary. Convergence to a metric with constant scalar curvature and minimal boundary is established in dimensions up to seven, and in any dimensions if the manifold is spin.

We study the Yamabe flow on asymptotically flat manifolds with non-positive Yamabe constant $Y\leq 0$. Previous work by the second and third named authors \cite{ChenWang} showed that while the Yamabe flow always converges in a global weighted sense when $Y>0$, the flow must diverge when $Y\leq 0$. We show here in the $Y\leq 0$ case however that after suitable rescalings, the Yamabe flow starting from any asymptotically flat manifold must converge to the unique positive function which solves the Yamabe problem on a compactification of the original manifold.
We study the Yamabe flow starting from an asymptotically flat manifold $(M^n,g_0)$. We show that the flow converges to an asymptotically flat, scalar flat metric in a weighted global sense if $Y(M,[g_0])>0$, and show that the flow does not converge otherwise. If the scalar curvature is nonnegative and integrable, then the ADM mass at time infinity drops by the limit of the total scalar curvature along the flow.
In this paper, we show that the sub-Laplacian of an asymptotically flat pseudo-hermitian manifold defined on a suitable weighted Folland-Stein spaces is an isomorphism. It turns out that the CR positive mass problem is resolved, and hence CR Yamabe problem.
Motivated by Luo's combinatorial Yamabe flow on closed surfaces \cite{L1} and Guo's combinatorial Yamabe flow on surfaces with boundary \cite{Guo}, we introduce combinatorial Calabi flow on ideally triangulated surfaces with boundary, aiming at finding hyperbolic metrics on surfaces with totally geodesic boundaries of given lengths. Then we prove the long time existence and global convergence of combinatorial Calabi flow on surfaces with boundary. We further introduce fractional combinatorial Calabi flow on surfaces with boundary, which unifies and generalizes the combinatorial Yamabe flow and…
We prove a convergence theorem on the moduli space of constant $σ_{2}$ metrics for conic 4-spheres. We show that when a numerical condition is convergent to the boundary case, the geometry of conic 4-spheres converges to the boundary case while preserving capacity.
The goal of this paper is to study Yamabe flow on a complete Riemannian manifold of bounded geometry with possibly infinite volume. In the case of infinite volume, standard volume normalization of the Yamabe flow fails and the flow may not converge. Instead, we consider a curvature normalized Yamabe flow, and assuming negative scalar curvature, prove its long-time existence and convergence. This extends the results of Suárez-Serrato and Tapie to a non-compact setting. In the appendix, we specify our analysis of a particular example of manifolds with bounded geometry, namely manifolds with fibe…
We answer affirmatively a question of Aviles posed in 1983, concerning the construction of singular solutions of semilinear equations without using phase-plane analysis. Fully exploiting the semilinearity and the stability of the linearized operator in any dimension, our techniques involve a careful gluing in weighted $L^\infty$ spaces that handles multiple occurrences of criticality, without the need of derivative estimates. The above solution constitutes an \emph{Ansatz} for the Yamabe problem with a prescribed singular set of maximal dimension $(n-2)/2$, for which, using the same machinery,…
We introduce two flow approaches to the Loewner--Nirenberg problem on comapct Riemannian manifolds $(M^n,g)$ with boundary and establish the convergence of the corresponding Cauchy--Dirichlet problems to the solution of the Loewner--Nirenberg problem. In particular, when the initial data $u_0\in C^{4,α}(M)$ is a solution or a strict subsolution to the equation $(1.1)$, the convergence holds for both the direct flow $(1.3)-(1.5)$ and the Yamabe flow $(1.10)$. Moreover, when the background metric satisfies $R_g\geq0$, the convergence holds for any positive initial data $u_0\in C^{2,α}(M)$ for th…
