We consider the (direct sum over all $n$ of the) $K$-theory of the semi-nilpotent commuting variety of $\mathfrak{gl}_n$, and describe its convolution algebra structure in two ways: the first as an explicit shuffle algebra (i.e. a particular $\mathbb{Z}[q_1^{\pm 1}, q_2^{\pm 1}]$-submodule of the equivariant $K$-theory of a point) and the second as the $\mathbb{Z}[q_1^{\pm 1}, q_2^{\pm 1}]$-algebra generated by certain elements $\{\bar{H}_{n,d}\}_{(n,d) \in \mathbb{N} \times \mathbb{Z}}$.
We construct the twisted Fock module of quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra with a slope $n'/n$ using vertex operators of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$. The proof is based on the $q$-wedge construction of an integrable level-one $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}_n)$-module and the representation theory of double affine Hecke algebra. The results are consistent with Gorsky-Neguţ conjecture (Kononov-Smirnov theorem) on stable envelopes for Hilbert schemes of points in the plane and can be viewed as a manifestation of $(\mathfrak{gl}_1,\mathfrak{gl}_n)$-duality.
On a Fock space constructed from $mn$ free bosons and lattice ${\Bbb {Z}}^{mn}$, we give a level $n$ action of the quantum toroidal algebra $\mathscr {E}_m$ associated to $\mathfrak{gl}_m$, together with a level $m$ action of the quantum toroidal algebra ${\mathscr E}_n$ associated to ${\mathfrak {gl}}_n$. We prove that the $\mathscr {E}_m$ transfer matrices commute with the $\mathscr {E}_n$ transfer matrices after an appropriate identification of parameters.
The representations of the quantum toroidal algebras have been widely studied by many authors. However, no one has constructed some finite dimensional modules for them while $q$ is generic. In this paper, for all $\mathfrak{g}$-generic $q$, if $\mathfrak{g}$ is not of type $A_1$, we prove that the quantum toroidal algebra $U_q(\mathfrak{g}_{\rm tor})$ has no nontrivial finite dimensional simple module.
The affine evaluation map is a surjective homomorphism from the quantum toroidal ${\mathfrak {gl}}_n$ algebra ${\mathcal E}'_n(q_1,q_2,q_3)$ to the quantum affine algebra $U'_q\widehat{\mathfrak {gl}}_n$ at level $κ$ completed with respect to the homogeneous grading, where $q_2=q^2$ and $q_3^n=κ^2$. We discuss ${\mathcal E}'_n(q_1,q_2,q_3)$ evaluation modules. We give highest weights of evaluation highest weight modules. We also obtain the decomposition of the evaluation Wakimoto module with respect to a Gelfand-Zeitlin type subalgebra of a completion of ${\mathcal E}'_n(q_1,q_2,q_3)$, which d…
We define the double quantum affinization $\ddot{\mathrm{U}}_q(\mathfrak a_1)$ of type $\mathfrak{a}_1$ as a topological Hopf algebra. We prove that it admits a subalgebra $\ddot{\mathrm{U}}_q'(\mathfrak a_1)$ whose completion is (bicontinuously) isomorphic to the completion of the quantum toroidal algebra $\dot{\mathrm{U}}_q(\dot{\mathfrak a}_1)$, defined as the (simple) quantum affinization of the untwisted affine Kac-Moody Lie algebra $\dot{\mathfrak{sl}}_2$ of type $\dot{\mathfrak a}_1$, equipped with a certain topology inherited from its natural $\mathbb Z$-grading. The isomorphism is con…
Let $X$ be a complex manifold, $π: E \rightarrow X$ a locally trivial holomorphic fibration with fiber $F$, and $\mathfrak{g}$ a Lie algebra with an invariant symmetric form. We associate to this data a holomorphic prefactorization algebra $\mathcal{F}_{\mathfrak{g}, π}$ on $X$ in the formalism of Costello-Gwilliam. When $X=\mathbb{C}$, $\mathfrak{g}$ is simple, and $F$ is a smooth affine variety, we extract from $\mathcal{F}_{\mathfrak{g}, π}$ a vertex algebra which is a vacuum module for the universal central extension of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g} \otimes H^{0}(F, \mathcal{O})[z,z^{-1}]$…
We introduce and study the quantum toroidal algebra $\mathcal{E}_{m|n}(q_1,q_2,q_3)$ associated with the superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$ with $m\neq n$, where the parameters satisfy $q_1q_2q_3=1$. We give an evaluation map. The evaluation map is a surjective homomorphism of algebras $\mathcal{E}_{m|n}(q_1,q_2,q_3) \to \widetilde{U}_q\,\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}_{m|n}$ to the quantum affine algebra associated with the superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$ at level $c$ completed with respect to the homogeneous grading, where $q_2=q^2$ and $q_3^{m-n}=c^2$. We also give a bosonic realization of level…

We discuss the 5d AGT correspondence of supergroup gauge theories with A-type supergroups. We introduce two intertwiners called positive and negative intertwiners to compute the instanton partition function. The positive intertwiner is the ordinary Awata-Feigin-Shiraishi intertwiner while the negative intertwiner is an intertwiner obtained by using central charges with negative levels. We show that composition of them gives the basic Nekrasov factors appearing in supergroup partition functions. We explicitly derive the instanton partition functions of supergroup gauge theories with A and D-typ…
We describe the general strategy for lifting the Wess-Zumino-Witten model from the level of one-loop Kac-Moody $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{g}})_k$ to generic quantum toroidal algebras. A nearly exhaustive presentation is given for the two series $U_{q,t}(\widehat{\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}}_1)$ and $U_{q,t}(\widehat{\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}}_n)$, when screenings do not exist and thus all the correlators are purely algebraic, i.e. do not include additional hypergeometric type integrations/summations. Generalizing the construction of the intertwiner (refined topological vertex) of the Ding-Iohara-Miki (…
We discuss the quantization of the $\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2$ coset vertex operator algebra $\mathcal{W}D(2,1;α)$ using the bosonization technique. We show that after quantization there exist three families of commuting integrals of motion coming from three copies of the quantum toroidal algebra associated to ${\mathfrak{gl}}_2$.
Quantum toroidal algebras are obtained from quantum affine algebras by a further affinization, and, like the latter, can be used to construct integrable systems. These algebras also describe the symmetries of instanton partition functions for 5D $\mathcal{N}=1$ supersymmetric quiver gauge theories. We consider here the gauge theories defined on an orbifold $S^1\times\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_p$ where the action of $\mathbb{Z}_p$ is determined by two integer parameters $(ν_1,ν_2)$. The corresponding quantum toroidal algebra is introduced as a deformation of the quantum toroidal algebra of $\mathf…
Degenerating the quantum queer Schur superalgebra ${\mathcal{Q}_q(n,r; R)}$ to the case $q=1$, the queer Schur superalgebra ${\mathcal{Q}(n,r)}$ is obtained. In this article, we reconstruct the universal enveloping algebra ${U({\mathfrak{q}_n})}$ of the queer Lie superalgebra ${\mathfrak{q}_n}$ via ${\mathcal{Q}(n,r)}$, and achieve another explanation of the Schur-Weyl-Sergeev duality. Finally, we depict the Schur-Weyl-Sergeev duality over $\mathbb{Z}$.
We introduce an algebra $\mathcal{K}_n$ which has a structure of a left comodule over the quantum toroidal algebra of type $A_{n-1}$. Algebra $\mathcal{K}_n$ is a higher rank generalization of $\mathcal{K}_1$, which provides a uniform description of deformed $W$ algebras associated with Lie (super)algebras of types BCD. We show that $\mathcal{K}_n$ possesses a family of commutative subalgebras.
Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be the derived subalgebra of a Kac-Moody Lie algebra of finite type or affine type, $μ$ a diagram automorphism of $\mathfrak{g}$ and $L(\mathfrak{g},μ)$ the loop algebra of $\mathfrak{g}$ associated to $μ$. In this paper, by using the vertex algebra technique, we provide a general construction of current type presentations for the universal central extension $\widehat{\mathfrak{g}}[μ]$ of $L(\mathfrak{g},μ)$. The construction contains the classical limit of Drinfeld's new realization for (twisted and untwisted) quantum affine algebras ([Dr]) and the Moody-Rao-Yokonuma presen…
We consider the problem of the R-matrix of the quantum toroidal algebra $U_{q,t}(\ddot{\mathfrak{gl}}_1)$ in the Fock representation. Using the connection between the R-matrix $R(u)$ ($u$ being the spectral parameter) and the theory of Macdonald operators we obtain explicit formulas for $R(u)$ in the operator and matrix forms. These formulas are expressed in terms of the eigenvalues of a certain Macdonald operator which completely describe the functional dependence of $R(u)$ on the spectral parameter $u$. We then consider the geometric R-matrix (obtained from the theory of K-theoretic stable b…
We study certain representations of quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra for $q=t$. We construct explicit bosonization of the Fock modules $\mathcal{F}_u^{(n',n)}$ with a nontrivial slope $n'/n$. As a vector space, it is naturally identified with the basic level 1 representation of affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$. We also study twisted $W$-algebras of $\mathfrak{sl}_n$ acting on these Fock modules. As an application, we prove the relation on $q$-deformed conformal blocks which was conjectured in the study of $q$-deformation of isomonodromy/CFT correspondence.
We extend Lawrence's representations of the braid groups to relative homology modules, and we show that they are free modules over a Laurent polynomials ring. We define homological operators and we show that they actually provide a representation for an integral version for $U_q \mathfrak{sl}(2)$. We suggest an isomorphism between a given basis of homological modules and the standard basis of tensor products of Verma modules, and we show it to preserve the integral ring of coefficients, the action of $U_q \mathfrak{sl}(2)$, the braid group representations and their grading. This recovers an in…
We study plane partitions satisfying condition $a_{n+1,m+1}=0$ (this condition is called "pit") and asymptotic conditions along three coordinate axes. We find the formulas for generating function of such plane partitions. Such plane partitions label the basis vectors in certain representations of quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra, therefore our formulas can be interpreted as the characters of these representations. The resulting formulas resemble formulas for characters of tensor representations of Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$. We discuss representation theoretic interpretat…
We give a purely combinatorial formula for evaluating closed decorated foams. Our evaluation gives an integral polynomial and is directly connected to an integral equivariant version of the $\mathfrak{sl}_N$ link homology categorifying the $\mathfrak{sl}_N$ link polynomial. We also provide connections to the equivariant cohomology rings of partial flag manifolds.
The deformed $\mathcal W$ algebras of type $\textsf{A}$ have a uniform description in terms of the quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra $\mathcal E$. We introduce a comodule algebra $\mathcal K$ over $\mathcal E$ which gives a uniform construction of basic deformed $\mathcal W$ currents and screening operators in types $\textsf{B},\textsf{C},\textsf{D}$ including twisted and supersymmetric cases. We show that a completion of algebra $\mathcal K$ contains three commutative subalgebras. In particular, it allows us to obtain a commutative family of integrals of motion associated with affine…
In this paper, for an arbitrary Kac-Moody Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ and a diagram automorphism $μ$ of $\mathfrak g$ satisfying certain natural linking conditions, we introduce and study a $μ$-twisted quantum affinization algebra $\mathcal U_\hbar\left(\hat{\mathfrak g}_μ\right)$ of $\mathfrak g$. When $\mathfrak g$ is of finite type, $\mathcal U_\hbar\left(\hat{\mathfrak g}_μ\right)$ is Drinfeld's current algebra realization of the twisted quantum affine algebra. When $μ=\mathrm{id}$ and $\mathfrak g$ in affine type, $\mathcal U_\hbar\left(\hat{\mathfrak g}_μ\right)$ is the quantum toroidal al…
We prove a general theorem for constructing integral quantum cluster algebras over ${\mathbb{Z}}[q^{\pm 1/2}]$, namely that under mild conditions the integral forms of quantum nilpotent algebras always possess integral quantum cluster algebra structures. These algebras are then shown to be isomorphic to the corresponding upper quantum cluster algebras, again defined over ${\mathbb{Z}}[q^{\pm 1/2}]$. Previously, this was only known for acyclic quantum cluster algebras. The theorem is applied to prove that for every symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra ${\mathfrak{g}}$ and Weyl group element $w$, the…
