We propose a novel process where singly charged Higgs bosons are produced in a same-sign pair via vector boson fusion at hadron colliders in two Higgs doublet models. The process directly relates to the global symmetry structure of the Higgs potential. The produced charged Higgs bosons predominantly decay into a tau lepton and the neutrino or into a pair of top and bottom quarks, depending on the type of Yukawa interactions. Motivated by recent anomalous CDF data on $Wjj$ events, we study a possible explanation within the framework of the two-Higgs doublet model. We find that a charged Higgs boson of mass $\sim$ 140 GeV with appropriate couplings can account for the observed excess. In addition, we consider the flavor-changing neutral current effects induced at loop level by the charged Higgs boson on the $B$ meson system to further constrain the model. Our study shows that the like-sign charge asymmetry $A_{s\ell}^b$ can be of ${\cal O}(10^{-3})$ in this scenario.

We systematically study model-independent constraints on the three generic charged Higgs couplings to $b$-quarks and up-type quarks. A possible discovery of a relatively light charged Higgs boson H^+ in near future experiments, with a mass M_{H+} ~< 110 GeV, together with the present LEP2 direct limits on the chargino and neutral Higgs sectors, would disfavour the minimal supersymmetric standard model as well as its frequently discussed next-to-minimal supersymmetric extension. We show that a supersymmetric origin can naturally be ascribed to the existence of such a light charged Higgs scalar within the context of the recently introduced minimal nonminimal supersymmetric standard model.

In this talk I consider the current status of $B \rightarrow D^{(*)} τν$ decays in the context of two-Higgs-doublet models. The BaBar collaboration has reported an excess in semileptonic $b \rightarrow c τν$ transitions that has gathered recent interest as a possible signature of new physics. In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model squark mixing can significantly change the pattern of charged-Higgs production. We find that non-minimal flavor structures can have a sizeable impact on the charged-Higgs production cross section, whereas charged-Higgs searches may be able to probe flavor structures not accessible to rare kaon, bottom or charm experiments, and can invalidate the assumption of minimal flavor violation.

We explain the current excess seen at the Large Hadron Collider via the $gg\to H\toγγ$ channel in the search for a neutral Higgs boson in terms of both singly (marginally) and doubly (predominantly) charged Higgs bosons predicted by the Higgs Triplet Model.

We study the discovery prospects of the charged Higgs boson in the context of multi Higgs models in certain BSM scenarios. We classify models into three categories based on the charged Higgs coupling properties: gaugophobic, fermiophobic, and chromophobic. In each case, we identify viable modes of discovery, and present LHC analysis for discovery. We find that extensions of the Standard Model in which the charged Higgs does not couple to colored particles offer the best possible avenues for discovery.

We discuss single charged Higgs boson production from $e^+e^-$ annihilation at next generation linear colliders. They can be important to study the phenomenology of charged Higgs bosons, especially when charged Higgs bosons are too heavy to be produced by the pair production mechanism. Cross sections for various single production processes are evaluated at the leading order. Our analysis shows that in some parameter regions the phenomenology of charged Higgs bosons can be explored even beyond the kinematic limit for pair production by using single production processes.
