The Affective Behavior Analysis in-the-wild (ABAW) 2022 Competition gives Affective Computing a large promotion. In this paper, we present our method of AU challenge in this Competition. We use improved IResnet100 as backbone. Then we train AU dataset in Aff-Wild2 on three pertained models pretrained by our private au and expression dataset, and Glint360K respectively. Finally, we ensemble the results of our models. We achieved F1 score (macro) 0.731 on AU validation set.

Facial action unit recognition is an important task for facial analysis. Owing to the complex collection environment, facial action unit recognition in the wild is still challenging. The 3rd competition on affective behavior analysis in-the-wild (ABAW) has provided large amount of facial images with facial action unit annotations. We detail the associated experiments and show that, through more accurately locating the facial landmarks, and considering only the distances between them, we can achieve a surprising level of performance. In the approach, firstly the images were acquired and cropping of five significant portions from the image was performed to extract and store the Eigenvectors specific to the expressions. One of the most universal ways that people communicate is through facial expressions. In this paper, we take a deep dive, implementing multiple deep learning models for facial expression recognition (FER). Our goals are twofold: we aim not only to maximize accuracy, but also to apply our results to the real-world. By leveraging numerous techniques from recent research, we demonstrate a state-of-the-art 75.8% accuracy on the FER2013 test set, outperforming all existing publications. This work presents an automatic human gender and age group recognition system based on human facial images. It makes an extensive experiment with row pixel intensity valued features and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) coefficient features with Principal Component Analysis and k-Nearest Neighbor classification to identify the best recognition approach. A novel Identity-Free conditional Generative Adversarial Network (IF-GAN) was proposed for Facial Expression Recognition (FER) to explicitly reduce high inter-subject variations caused by identity-related facial attributes, e.g., age, race, and gender.
