In this paper, we study the "a posteriori" error estimate corresponding to the Brinkman-Darcy-Forchheimer problem. We introduce the variational formulation discretised by using the finite element method. Then, we establish an "a posteriori" error estimation with two types of error indicators related to the discretization and to the linearization. Finally, numerical investigations are shown and discussed.

In this paper we propose and analyze a uniformly robust staggered DG method for the unsteady Darcy-Forchheimer-Brinkman problem. Our formulation is based on velocity gradient-velocity-pressure and the resulting scheme can be flexibly applied to fairly general polygonal meshes. We relax the tangential continuity for velocity, which is the key ingredient in achieving the uniform robustness. We prove that some time Euler schemes for the 3D Navier-Stokes equations modified by adding a Brinkman-Forchheimer term and a random perturbation converge in $L^2(Ω)$. This extends previous results concerning the strong rate of convergence of some time discretization schemes for the 2D Navier Stokes equations. Unlike the 2D case, our proposed 3D model with the Brinkman-Forchheimer term allows for a strong rate of convergence of order almost 1/2, that is independent of the viscosity parameter.
We propose and analyze a mixed formulation for the Brinkman-Forchheimer equations for unsteady flows. This paper deals with the Darcy-Forchheimer problem with two kinds of boundary conditions. We discretize the system by using the finite element methods and we propose two iterative schemes to solve the discrete problems. The well-posedness and the convergence of the corresponding iterative problems are then proven. Finally, several numerical experiments are performed to validate the proposed numerical schemes.
In this paper, we develop a discretization for the non-linear coupled model of classical Darcy-Forchheimer flow in deformable porous media, an extension of the quasi-static Biot equations. The continuous model exhibits a generalized gradient flow structure, identifying the dissipative character of the physical system. In this paper we develop a staggered discontinuous Galerkin method for the Stokes and Darcy-Forchheimer problems coupled with the \Red{Beavers-Joseph-Saffman} conditions. We propose a block-structured multigrid relaxation scheme for solving the Stokes-Darcy Brinkman equations discretized by the marker and cell scheme. An element-based additive Vanka smoother is used to solve the corresponding shifted Laplacian operator. In this article, we present an efficient deep learning method called coupled deep neural networks (CDNNs) for coupled physical problems. Our method compiles the interface conditions of the coupled PDEs into the networks properly and can be served as an efficient alternative to the complex coupled problems. In this paper, a strongly mass conservative and stabilizer free scheme is designed and analyzed for the coupled Brinkman-Darcy flow and transport.
