We develop a non-perturbative model for valence parton distribution functions (PDFs) based on the mean field interactions of valence quarks in the nucleonic interior. The main motivation for the model is to obtain a mean field description of the valence quarks as a baseline to study the short range quark-quark interactions that generate the high $x$ tail of PDFs. The model is based on the separation of the valence three-quark cluster and residual system in the nucleon. Then the nucleon structure function is calculated within the effective light-front diagrammatic approach introducing nonperturbative light-front valence quark and residual wave functions. Within the model a new relation is obtained between the position, $x_p$, of the peak of $xq_V(x)$ distribution of the valence quark and the effective mass of the residual system, $m_R$, in the form: $x_{p} \approx {1\over 4} (1-{m_R\over m_N})$ at starting $Q^2$. This relation explains the difference in the peak positions for d- and u- quarks through the expected difference of residual masses for valence d- and u- quark distributions. The parameters of the model are fixed by fitting the calculated valence quark distributions to the phenomenological PDFs. This allowed us to estimate the overall mean field contribution in baryonic and momentum sum rules for valence d- and u- quarks. Finally, the evaluated parameters of the non-perturbative wave functions of valence 3q-cluster and residual system can be used in calculation of other quantities such as nucleon form factors, generalized partonic and transverse momentum distributions.
In this contribution, we discuss the spin and flavor content of the proton in the framework of the unquenched quark model, and address the role of valence and sea quarks in the nucleon.
We explore further applications of the twist-two quark interference fragmentation functions introduced earlier. We show that semi-inclusive production of two pions in the current fragmentation region in deep inelastic scattering of a longitudinally polarized electron on a longitudinally polarized nucleon can provide a probe of the valence quark spin (or helicity difference) distribution in the nucleon.
Valence double parton distribution functions of the nucleon are evaluated in the framework of a simple model, where the conservation of the longitudinal momentum is taken into account. The leading-order DGLAP QCD evolution from the low quark-model scale to higher renormalization scales is carried out via the Mellin moments of the distributions. Results of the valence quark correlation function show that in general the double distributions cannot be approximated as a product of the single-particle distributions.
Within the framework of the so-called "valon" model, we argue that a substantial part of the nucleon spin, about 40%, is carried by the polarized valence quarks. The remaining is the result of cancellations between gluon polarization and the orbital angular momentum, where the gluon polarization is the dominant one. It is shown that the sea quark contribution to the spin of any hadron is simply marginal and consistent with zero. Our findings point to a substantially smaller value for a_8 thaninferred from hyperon- $β$ decay, suggesting that fullSU(3) symmetric assumption needs to be reconsider…
In this high-$x$ region, both the flavour content and structure of the nucleon parton distribution functions remains relatively poorly known. New LHCb measurements of Z and charm jet associated production could indicate a valence-like intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function, and measurements of Z production in pPb collisions provide new constraints on the partonic structure of nucleons bound inside nuclei. Here we will discuss these new LHCb measurements and comparisons with state-of-the-art parton distribution function calculations.
Because of its forward coverage, LHCb can probe the valence quark distributions of protons and nuclei at small and large Bjorken-x with high precision. This proceeding presents new LHCb measurements of Z boson production in association with charm jet in the forward region of proton-proton collisions and Z boson production in proton-lead collisions. Z+charm jet production could be sensitive to a valence-like intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function. The measurements of Z production in proton-lead collisions provide new constraints on the partonic structure of nucleons inside nuclei…
It is shown that intrinsic orbital motion of the valence quarks has large influences on the spin-dependent as well as the spin-averaged nucleon structure functions. Its connection with the observed ``very small contribution of quark spin to nucleon spin'' and the observed violation of Gottfried sum rule is discussed.
Using a quark model, we study the effect of charge symmetry breaking on the valence quark distributions of the nucleon. The effect due to quark mass differences and the Coulomb interaction of the electrically charged quarks is calculated and, in contrast to recent claims, found to be small. In addition, we investigate the effect of charge symmetry breaking in the confining interaction, and in the perturbative evolution equations used to relate the quark model distributions to experiment. We find that both these effects are small, and that the strong charge symmetry breaking effect included in …
The nucleon is naturally viewed as a bipartite system of valence spin -- defined by its non-vanishing chiral charge -- and non-valence or sea spin. The sea spin can be traced over to give a reduced density matrix, and it is shown that the resulting entanglement entropy acts as an order parameter of chiral symmetry breaking in the nucleon. In the large-$N_c$ limit, the entanglement entropy vanishes and the valence spin accounts for all of the nucleon spin, while in the limit of maximal entanglement entropy, the nucleon loses memory of the valence spin and consequently has spin dominated by the …
We derive simple relations between the polarized and unpolarized valence quark distributions in a light-cone SU(6) quark-spectator model for nucleons. The explicit x-dependent Wigner rotation effect for the light-flavor quarks is calculated. It is shown that the mass difference between the scalar and vector spectators could reproduce the up and down valence quark asymmetry that accounts for the observed ratio $F_2^{n}/F_2^{p}$. The proton, neutron, and deuteron polarization asymmetries, $A_1^p$, $A_1^n$, and $A_1^d$, are in agreement with the available data by taking into account the Wigner ro…
A dynamical valence and sea quark mixing model is shown to fit the baryon ground state properties as well as the spin content of the nucleon. The relativistic correction and the $q^3{\leftrightarrow} q^3q\bar{q}$ transition terms induced by the quark axial vector current $\barψ\vecγγ^5ψ$ in this model space is responsible for the quark spin reduction.
We present a new approach for the calculation of the valence quark distributions in the nucleon based on the scenario in which the spectrum of the valence quarks at x>0.05 is generated through three main mechanisms: interaction of valence quarks with the mean field generated by the residual nucleon system, two and three quark short range interactions through gluon exchanges. In the current report we present the first phase of the project in which we develop a non-perturbative model for valence quark interaction in the mean field of the nucleonic interior to describe their distribution in the m…
The pion cloud renormalises the light-cone wavefunction of the nucleon which is measured in hard, exclusive photon-nucleon reactions. We discuss the leading twist contributions to high-energy exclusive reactions taking into account both the pion cloud and perturbative QCD physics. The nucleon's electromagnetic form-factor at high $Q^2$ is proportional to the bare nucleon probability $Z$ and the cross-sections for hard (real at large angle or deeply virtual) Compton scattering are proportional to $Z^2$. Our present knowledge of the pion-nucleon system is consistent with $Z = 0.7 \pm 0.2$. If we…
The hyperfine interactions of the constituent quark model provide a natural explanation for many nucleon properties, including the Delta-N splitting, the charge radius of the neutron, and the observation that the proton's quark distribution function ratio d(x)/u(x)->0 as x->1. The hyperfine-perturbed quark model also makes predictions for the nucleon spin-dependent distribution functions. Precision measurements of the resulting asymmetries A_1^p(x) and A_1^n(x) in the valence region can test this model and thereby the hypothesis that the valence quark spin distributions are "normal".
The original version of this paper commented on a paper by Jaffe, Jin, and Tang (hep-ph/9710561). That paper has been revised, and my original comment no longer applies to the revised version. The original version of my comment (hep-ph/9801217v1) provides a simple argument that two-particle correlations in parity-invariant fragmentation cannot provide a measurement of the helicity of the fragmenting quark.
The structure of the nucleon and the first radial excitation of the nucleon, the Roper, $N(1440)$, is studied within the formalism of Light-Front holography. The nucleon elastic form factors and $γ^\ast N \to N(1440)$ transition form factors are calculated under the assumption of the dominance of the valence quark degrees of freedom. Contrary to the previous studies, the bare parameters of the model associated with the valence quark are fixed by the empirical data for large momentum transfer ($Q^2$) assuming that the corrections to the three-quark picture (meson cloud contributions) are suppre…
We present high statistics results for the structure of the nucleon from a mixed-action calculation using 2+1 flavors of asqtad sea and domain wall valence fermions. We perform extrapolations of our data based on different chiral effective field theory schemes and compare our results with available information from phenomenology. We discuss vector and axial form factors of the nucleon, moments of generalized parton distributions, including moments of forward parton distributions, and implications for the decomposition of the nucleon spin.

We discuss the Kondo effect for isospin-exchange interaction between a $\bar{D}$, $B$ meson and a valence nucleon in charm/bottom atomic nuclei including the discrete energy-levels for valence nucleons. To investigate the binding energy by the Kondo effect, we introduce the mean-field approach for the bound state of the $\bar{D}$, $B$ meson in charm/bottom nuclei. Assuming a simple model, we examine the validity of the mean-field approximation by comparing the results with the exact solutions. We also estimate the effect of the quantum fluctuation beyond the mean-field approximation. We discus…
The first moments of the polarized valence parton distribution functions (PDFs) truncated to the wide Bjorken $x$ region $0.004<x<0.7$ are directly (without any fitting procedure) extracted in the next to leading order (NLO) QCD from both COMPASS and HERMES data on pion production in polarized semi-inclusive DIS (SIDIS) experiments. The COMPASS and HERMES data are combined in two ways and two scenarios for the fragmentation functions (FFs) are considered. Two procedures are proposed for an estimation of light sea quark contributions to the proton spin. Both of them lead to the conclusion that …
It is shown that the D--meson, whose light quark is the initial-pion valence quark and whose charmed quark is produced in annihilation of valence quarks and has got a large enough momentum, is really a leading meson in reactions like $π^- p -> DX$. If such annihilation of valence quarks from initial hadrons is impossible there must be no distinct leading effect.
Diquark formation across a short-range nucleon-nucleon pair is proposed as the underlying QCD physics of short-range correlations (SRC) in nuclei. SRC pairs have been proposed as the cause of distorted quark behavior in nuclei; experimentally observed quark momentum distribution distortions termed the EMC effect. The strong spatial overlap of SRC pairs brings nucleon constituents within range of inter-nucleon QCD potentials and any bonds formed - such as the diquark bond - affects their distributions. In this SRC model, diquarks form in the $\rm 3_C \otimes 3_C \rightarrow \bar{3}_C$ channel o…
We provide an experimental and theoretical perspective on the behavior of unpolarized distribution functions for the nucleon and pion on the valence-quark domain; namely, Bjorken-x \gtrsim 0.4. This domain is key to much of hadron physics; e.g., a hadron is defined by its flavor content and that is a valence-quark property. Furthermore, its accurate parametrization is crucial to the provision of reliable input for large collider experiments. We focus on experimental extractions of distribution functions via electron and muon inelastic scattering, and from Drell-Yan interactions; and on theoret…
We discuss unpolarized neutrino- and anti-neutrino-nucleon deep inelastic scattering (DIS) using a chiral doublet of baryonic sources with explicit symmetry breaking, in a slice of AdS$_5$ with both a hard and soft wall. We explicitly derive the direct and transition form factors for the vector and axial-vector currents for the holographic dual of a proton and neutron. We use them to derive the s-channel structure functions for neutrino and anti-neutrino scattering on a proton and neutron in bulk. The t-channel contributions stemming from the Pomeron and Reggeon exchanges are also evaluated ex…
We point out that charge symmetry violation in both the valence and sea quark distributions of the nucleon has a non-perturbative source. We calculate this non-perturbative charge symmetry violation using the meson cloud model, which has earlier been successfully applied to both the study of SU(2) flavour asymmetry in the nucleon sea and quark-antiquark asymmetry in the nucleon. We find that the charge symmetry violation in the valence quark distribution is well below 1%, which is consistent with most low energy tests but significantly smaller than the quark model prediction about 5%-10%. Our …
We report the observation of the existence of a possible universal limit for valence parton distributions that should exist once partonic degrees of freedom are relevant for high energy scattering from strongly interacting bound systems like a nucleon, meson or a few nucleon system at very short distances. Our observation is based on the notion that the Bjorken x weighted valence parton distribution function has a peak, $x_p$, that characterizes the average momentum fraction carried out by the valence quarks in the system. Within the residual mean-field model of the valence quark distribution …
A covariant spectator quark model is applied to estimate the valence quark contributions to the$ F1*(Q2) and F2*(Q2) transition form factors for the gamma N -> P11(1440) reaction. The Roper resonance, P11(1440), is assumed to be the first radial excitation of the nucleon. The model requires no extra parameters except for those already fixed by the previous studies for the nucleon. The results are consistent with the experimental data in the high Q2 region, and those from the lattice QCD. Finally the model is also applied to estimate the meson cloud contributions from the CLAS and MAID analysis…
We study the electromagnetic structure of the nucleon within a hybrid constituent-quark model that comprises, in addition to the $3q$ valence component, also a $3q$+$π$ non-valence component. To this aim we employ a Poincaré-invariant multichannel formulation based on the point-form of relativistic quantum mechanics. With a simple 3-quark wave function for the bare nucleon, i.e. the $3q$-component, we obtain reasonable results for the nucleon form factors and predict the meson-cloud contribution to be significant only below $Q^2\lesssim 0.5$\,GeV$^2$ amounting to about 10\% for $Q^2\rightarrow…
The observed deep inelastic nucleon spin asymmetries $A_{1}^{p,n}$ and the spin dependent quark distributions break SU(6) spin - flavour symmetry. In quark models two mechanisms for breaking SU(6) symmetry are well known: the hyperfine interaction and the pion cloud of the nucleon. I re-evaluate these mechanisms and show how the breaking of SU(6) in each case affects spin dependent valence quark distributions of the proton. In particular I investigate the properties of these mechanisms in the kinematic region $0.3 < x < 0.7$ and attempt to test these against known data. Both mechanisms are abl…
We calculate the quark distribution function for 3He/3H in a relativistic quark model of nuclear structure which adequately reproduces the nucleon approximation, nuclear binding energies, and nuclear sizes for small nuclei. The results show a clear distortion from the quark distribution function for individual nucleons (EMC effect) arising dominantly from a combination of recoil and quark tunneling effects. Antisymmetrization (Pauli) effects are found to be small due to limited spatial overlaps. We compare our predictions with a published parameterization of the nuclear valence quark distribut…
Using a covariant spectator quark model we estimate valence quark contributions to the F1*(Q2) and F2*(Q2) transition form factors for the gamma N -> P11(1440) reaction. The Roper resonance, P11(1440), is assumed to be the first radial excitation of the nucleon. The present model requires no extra parameters except for those already fixed by the previous studies for the nucleon. Our results are consistent with the experimental data in the high Q2 region, and those from lattice QCD. We also estimate the meson cloud contributions, focusing on the low Q2 region, where they are expected to be domi…
We use light-front Holography to estimate the valence quark and the meson cloud contributions to the nucleon axial form factor. The free couplings of the holographic model are determined by the empirical data and by the information extracted from lattice QCD. The holographic model provides a good description of the empirical data when we consider a meson cloud mixture of about 30\% in the physical nucleon state. The estimate of the valence quark contribution to the nucleon axial form factor compares well with the lattice QCD data for small pion masses. Our estimate of the meson cloud contribut…
We study nucleon structure functions in the soliton picture of the bosonized Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. We focus on their vacuum contributions and examine whether they are outweighed by their valence quark counterparts.
The present contribution continues and extends foregoing work on the calculation of electroweak form factors of hadrons using the point-form of relativistic quantum mechanics. Here we are particularly interested in studying pionic effects on the electromagnetic structure of the nucleon. To this aim we employ a hybrid constituent-quark model that comprises, in addition to the $3q$ valence component, also a $3q$+$π$ non-valence component. With a simple wave function for the $3q$ component we get reasonable results for the nucleon form factors. In accordance with other authors we find that the pi…
The unpolarized, helicity and transversity parton distribution functions of the nucleon are studied within a convolution model where the bare nucleon is dressed by its virtual meson cloud. Using light-front time-ordered perturbation theory, the Fock states of the physical nucleon are expanded in a series involving a bare nucleon and two-particle, meson-baryon, states. The bare baryons and mesons are described with light-front wave functions (LFWFs) for the corresponding valence-parton components. Using a representation in terms of overlap of LFWFs, the role of the non-perturbative antiquark de…
Determination of parton distribution functions in nuclei is important for calculating nuclear corrections in oscillation experiments, from which detailed information should be extracted on neutrino properties. First, nuclear parton distributions are discussed for explaining high-energy nuclear reaction data. Possible nuclear modification is explained for valence-quark and antiquark distributions. It is rather difficult to determine gluon distributions in nuclei. Next, reversing the topic, we discuss structure functions which could be investigated by neutrino reactions. Determination of polariz…
I review some recent developments in the study of quark flavor distributions in the nucleon, including (i) valence quark distributions and the quark-hadron duality prediction for the x -> 1 d/u ratio (ii) sea quark asymmetries and electromagnetic form factors (iii) strange quarks in the nucleon.
The determination of the spin distribution functions for the neutron requires an understanding of the changes induced by a nuclear medium. We present the first estimates of the changes induced in the spin-dependent, valence parton distributions of the proton and neutron bound in $^3$He and $^6$Li. For $^3$He the result is quite reassuring, in that the off-shell correction to $g_{1n}$ is very small. On the other hand, in $^6$Li the corrections to the spin distributions in the bound proton are sufficiently large that they should be taken into account if one aims for a precision of better than 10…
We calculate the instanton contribution to the proton strangeness in the MIT bag enriched by the presence of a dilute instanton liquid. The evaluation is based on expressing the nucleon matrix elements of bilinear strange quark operators in terms of a model valence nucleon state and interactions producing quark-antiquark fluctuations on top of that valence state. Our method combines the usage of the evolution operator containing a strangeness source, and the Feynman-Hellmann theorem. It enables one to evaluate the strangeness in different Lorentz channels in, essentially, the same way. Only th…
Properties of the proton and neutron are studied in partially-quenched chiral perturbation theory at finite lattice spacing. Masses, magnetic moments, the matrix elements of isovector twist-2 operators and axial-vector currents are examined at the one-loop level in a double expansion in the light-quark masses and the lattice spacing. This work will be useful in extrapolating the results of simulations using Wilson valence and sea quarks, as well as simulations using Wilson sea quarks and Ginsparg-Wilson valence quarks, to the continuum.
Nucleon form factors are calculated in a relativistic diquark--quark picture based on the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model. The nucleon wave function is obtained in a static approximation to the quark exchange interaction between the valence quark and the diquark. We evaluate the valence quark and $0^+$--diquark contribution to the nucleon electromagnetic and weak currents. We find reasonable electric charge radii, magnetic moments as in the additive diquark model, and $g_A \approx 1$. We discuss the dependence on the model parameters.
We extend the study of lowest moments, $<x>$ and $<x^2>$, of the parton distribution function of the nucleon to include those of the sea quarks; this entails a disconnected insertion calculation in lattice QCD. This is carried out on a $16^3 \times 24$ quenched lattice with Wilson fermion. The quark loops are calculated with $Z_2$ noise vectors and unbiased subtractions, and multiple nucleon sources are employed to reduce the statistical errors. We obtain 5$σ$ signals for $<x>$ for the $u,d,$ and $s$ quarks, but $<x^2>$ is consistent with zero within errors. We provide results for both the con…
We present a model description of the nucleon valence structure function applicable over the entire region of the Bjorken variable x, and above moderate values of Q**2 (> 1 GeV**2). We stress the importance of describing the complete spectrum of intermediate states which are spectator to the deep-inelastic collision. At a scale of 1 GeV**2 the relevant degrees of freedom are constituent quarks and pions. The large-x region is then described in terms of scattering from constituent quarks in the nucleon, while the dressing of constituent quarks by pions plays an important role at intermediate x …
Nucleon structure functions are studied within the chiral soliton approach to the bosonized Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. The valence quark approximation is employed which is justified for moderate constituent quark masses ($\sim$ 400 MeV) as the contribution of the valence quark level dominates the predictions of nucleon properties. As examples the unpolarized structure functions for the $νp$ and ${\bar ν}p$ scattering and the structure functions entering the Gottfried sum rule are discussed. For the latter the model prediction is found to reasonably well agree with a corresponding low-scale para…
We present a phenomenological unpolarized Parton Distribution Functions for diquarks based on a soft-wall light front AdS/QCD quark-diquark nucleon model. From a probed model consistent with the Drewll-Yan-West relation and quark counting rule, we have performed a fit of some free parameters using known phenomenological quark PDF data. The model considers the entire set of possible diquarks within the nucleon valence, in the present work we focus on the spin-0 $ud_0$, spin-1 $ud_1$ and spin-1 $uu_1$ diquarks into the valence of protons. The diquark PDFs obtained are able to used in proton-prot…
On top of its valence quarks, the full nucleon ground state may contain appreciable admixture of s-\bar{s} pairs already at small momentum transfers. This paper discusses strangeness in the mean-field type of nucleon models, and exemplifies this by explicit calculations in the MIT bag model enriched by the presence of instantons. We calculate the instanton contribution to the strangeness in the MIT bag (on top of the standard contribution to strangeness found in that model). Although we do it in an essentially perturbative way, we present a detailed derivation of the formula expressing nucleon…
Valence u- and d-quarks distributions in proton are calculated in QCD at low $Q^2$ and intermediate x, basing on the operator product expansion (OPE). The imaginary part of the virtual photon scattering amplitude on quark current with proton quantum numbers is considered. The initial and final virtualities $p^2_1$ and $p^2_2$ of the currents are assumed to be large, negative and different, $p^2_1 \not= p^2_2$. The OPE in $p^2_1$, $p^2_2$ up to dimension 6 operators was performed. Double dispersion representations in $p^2_1, p^2_2$ of the amplitudes in terms of physical states contributions are…
Large angle photodisintegration of two nucleons from the 3He nucleus is studied within the framework of the hard rescattering model (HRM). In the HRM the incoming photon is absorbed by one nucleon's valence quark that then undergoes a hard rescattering reaction with a valence quark from the second nucleon producing two nucleons emerging at large transverse momentum . Parameter free cross sections for pp and pn break up channels are calculated through the input of experimental cross sections on pp and pn elastic scattering. The calculated cross section for pp breakup and its predicted energy de…
A Poincaré-covariant quark+diquark Faddeev equation is used to compute nucleon elastic form factors on $0\leq Q^2\leq 18 \,m_N^2$ ($m_N$ is the nucleon mass) and elucidate their role as probes of emergent hadronic mass in the Standard Model. The calculations expose features of the form factors that can be tested in new generation experiments at existing facilities, e.g. a zero in $G_E^p/G_M^p$; a maximum in $G_E^n/G_M^n$; and a zero in the proton's $d$-quark Dirac form factor, $F_1^d$. Additionally, examination of the associated light-front-transverse number and anomalous magnetisation densiti…
We present a simple empirical parameterization of the x- and t-dependence of generalized parton distributions at zero skewness, using forward parton distributions as input. A fit to experimental data for the Dirac, Pauli and axial form factors of the nucleon allows us to discuss quantitatively the interplay between longitudinal and transverse partonic degrees of freedom in the nucleon ("nucleon tomography"). In particular we obtain the transverse distribution of valence quarks at given momentum fraction x. We calculate various moments of the distributions, including the form factors that appea…
Understanding the differences between the distribution of quarks bound in protons and neutrons is key for constraining the mechanisms of SU(6) spin-flavor symmetry breaking in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). While vast amounts of proton structure measurements were done, data on the structure of the neutron is much more spars as experiments typically extract the structure of neutrons from measurements of light atomic nuclei using model-dependent corrections for nuclear effects. Recently the MARATHON collaboration performed such an extraction by measuring inclusive deep-inelastic electron-scatteri…
A nonsinglet QCD analysis of neutrino-nucleon structure function is performed based on all the data for charged current neutrino-nucleon deep inelastic scattering (DIS) corresponds to NLO and NNLO approximations, with taking into account the nuclear and higher twist corrections. In this analysis, we extract $xu_v(x,Q^2)$ and $xd_v(x,Q^2)$ valence parton distribution functions (PDFs) in a wide range of $x$ and $Q^2$, and determine their parametrization with the correlated errors using the xFitter framework. Our results regarding valence-quark densities with their uncertainties are compared to t…
We explain how the emergent phenomenon of dynamical chiral symmetry breaking ensures that Poincaré covariant analyses of the three valence-quark scattering problem in continuum quantum field theory yield a picture of the nucleon as a Borromean bound-state, in which binding arises primarily through the sum of two separate contributions. One involves aspects of the non-Abelian character of Quantum Chromodynamics that are expressed in the strong running coupling and generate tight, dynamical color-antitriplet quark-quark correlations in the scalar-isoscalar and pseudovector-isotriplet channels. T…
We present results for the nucleon's leading-twist spin-independent valence parton distribution functions obtained from a theoretical framework based on the Dyson-Schwinger equations (DSEs) of QCD that previously gave an excellent description of nucleon electromagnetic form factors. We employ the rainbow-ladder truncation of the DSEs and utilize nucleon bound state amplitudes from the Poincaré-covariant Faddeev equation, where the dominant scalar and axial-vector quark-quark correlations are included. This DSE framework is used to numerically evaluate the first 20 moments of the valence $u$ an…
