We discuss the Operator Product Expansion (OPE) and quark-hadron duality for two-point Green functions of tetraquark currents. We emphasize that the factorizable part of the OPE series for such Green functions, including nonperturbative contributions described by QCD condensates, is saturated by the full system of ordinary hadrons and therefore cannot have any relationship to the possible tetraquark bound states. Possible tetraquark bound states may be contained in nonfactorizable parts of these Green functions. In the framework of the $1/N_c$ expansion in QCD$(N_c)$, nonfactorizable parts of the two-point Green functions of tetraquark currents provide $N_c$-suppressed contributions compared to the $N_c$-leading factorizable parts. A possible exotic tetraquark state may appear only in $N_c$-subleading contributions to the QCD Green functions, in full accord with the well-known rigorous properties of large-$N_c$ QCD.
Without excluding the contributions of factorizable Feynman diagrams in the color space to the QCD sum rules by hand, we cannot obtain the conclusion that the factorizable parts of the operator product expansion series cannot have any relationship to the possible tetraquark bound states. The tetraquark couplings $f_T$ are of the order $\mathcal{O}(N_c)$ rather than of the order $\mathcal{O}(N^0_c)$ in the large $N_c$ limit, the conclusion "a possible exotic tetraquark state may appear only in $N_c$-subleading contributions to the QCD Green functions" is a paradox.
In this article, we tentatively assign the $Z_c^\pm(3900)$ to be the diquark-antidiquark type axialvector tetraquark state, study the hadronic coupling constants $G_{Z_cJ/ψπ}$, $G_{Z_cη_cρ}$, $G_{Z_cD \bar{D}^{*}}$ with the QCD sum rules in details. We take into account both the connected and disconnected Feynman diagrams in carrying out the operator product expansion, as the connected Feynman diagrams alone cannot do the work. Special attentions are paid to matching the hadron side of the correlation functions with the QCD side of the correlation functions to obtain solid duality, the routine…
We consider quark-hadron duality relations and QCD sum rules for correlators involving exotic tetraquark currents, here specializing to the case of quark-exchange processes. We point out the differences they exhibit with respect to the cases involving ordinary bilinear quark currents. Based on the observation that only diagrams possessing at least four-quark singularities can contribute to the formation of tetraquark states, we show that the quark-hadron duality relations and the corresponding sum rules split into two non-overlapping relations. The ultimate tetraquark-adequate QCD sum rule is …
We study details of QCD sum rules à la Shifman-Vainshtein-Zakharov for exotic tetraquark states. We point out that duality relations for correlators involving exotic currents have fundamental differences compared with the duality relations for the correlators of bilinear quark currents: namely, the $O(1)$ and $O(α_s)$ [$α_s$ the strong coupling constant] terms in the operator product expansion for the exotic correlators exactly cancel against the contributions of the two-meson states on the hadron side of QCD sum rules. As a result, the tetraquark properties turn out to be related to the speci…
In this article, we choose the $[sc]_P[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_A-[sc]_A[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_P$ type tetraquark current to study the hadronic coupling constants in the strong decays $Y(4660)\to J/ψf_0(980)$, $η_c ϕ(1020)$, $χ_{c0}ϕ(1020)$, $D_s\bar{D}_s$, $ D_s^* \bar{D}^*_s$, $ D_s \bar{D}^*_s$, $D_s^* \bar{D}_s$, $ψ^\prime π^+π^-$, $J/ψϕ(1020)$ with the QCD sum rules based on solid quark-hadron quality. The predicted width $Γ(Y(4660) )= 74.2^{+29.2}_{-19.2}\,{\rm{MeV}}$ is in excellent agreement with the experimental data $68\pm 11\pm 1 {\mbox{ MeV}}$ from the Belle collaboration, which supports assignin…
In this article, we assign the $Z_c^\pm(3900)$ to be the diquark-antidiquark type axialvector tetraquark state, study its magnetic moment with the QCD sum rules in the external weak electromagnetic field by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 8. We pay special attention to matching the hadron side with the QCD side of the correlation function to obtain solid duality, the routine can be applied to study other electromagnetic properties of the exotic particles.
In this work, we explore the hadronic coupling constants $G_{ZJ/ψK}$, $G_{Zη_c K^*}$, $G_{ZD^* \bar{D}_s}$ of the exotic states $Z_{cs}(3985/4000)$ both in the pictures of the tetraquark states and molecular states with the tentative assignments $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ based on the rigorous quark-hadron duality. Then we obtain the total widths $Γ_{Z_{cs}}^T =15.31\pm 2.06\,\rm{MeV}$ and $Γ_{Z_{cs}}^M=83.51\pm21.09\,\rm{MeV}$, which are consistent with the experimental data $13.8^{+8.1}_{-5.2}\pm4.9\,\rm{MeV}$ from the BESIII collaboration and $131 \pm 15 \pm 26\,\rm{MeV}$ from the LHCb collaboration, …
In this article, we construct both the $[sc]_T[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_A+[sc]_A[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_T$ type and $[sc]_T[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_V-[sc]_V[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_T$ type axialvector currents with $J^{PC}=1^{++}$ to study the mass of the $X(4140)$ with the QCD sum rules. The predicted masses support assigning the $X(4140)$ to be the $[sc]_T[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_V-[sc]_V[\bar{s}\bar{c}]_T$ type axialvector tetraquark state. Then we study the hadronic coupling constant $g_{XJ/ψϕ}$ with the QCD sum rules based on solid quark-hadron duality, and obtain the decay width $Γ(X(4140)\to J/ψϕ)=86.9\pm22.6\,{\rm{MeV}}$, wh…
The relativistic four-quark equations are found in the framework of coupled-channel formalism. The dynamical mixing of the meson-meson states with the four-quark states is considered. The four-quark amplitudes of the negative parity tetraquarks including the quarks of three flavors (u, d, s) and the charmed quark are constructed. The poles of these amplitudes determine the masses of tetraquarks. The mass values of low-lying tetraquarks with the spin-parity JP=0-,1-,2-,3- are calculated.
In this paper, we construct the axialvector and tensor current operators to investigate the ground state tetraquark states and the first radially excited tetraquark states with the quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ via the QCD sum rules systematically, and observe that there are one axialvector tetraquark candidate for the $Z_c(3900)$ and $Z_c(4430)$, two axialvector tetraquark candidates for the $Z_c(4020)$, three axialvector tetraquark candidates for the $Z_c(4600)$.
We examine the interpretation of the light scalar meson nonet as tetraquark states using QCD sum rules. With the interpolating current for the tetraquark states composed of scalar diquark and scalar antidiquark, first, we construct the QCD sum rules by means of the operator product expansion up to the operators of dimension 8 and show that there is no evidence of the coupling of the tetraquark states to the light scalar meson nonet. In order to have a stable sum rule, we propose a "good" interpolating current for the tetraquarks based on chirality arguments which includes scalar and pseudoscal…
The masses of heavy tetraquarks with hidden charm and bottom are calculated in the framework of the relativistic quark model. The tetraquark is considered as the bound state of a heavy-light diquark and antidiquark. The light quark in a heavy-light diquark is treated completely relativistically. The internal structure of the diquark is taken into account by calculating the diquark-gluon form factor in terms of the diquark wave functions. New experimental data on charmonium-like states above open charm threshold are discussed. The obtained results indicate that the X(3872) can be the tetraquark…
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-scalar-antidiquark type currents to interpolate the axialvector doubly heavy tetraquark states, and study them with the QCD sum rules in details by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 10.
Tetraquark properties are examined in the limit of large $N_c$ of color in QCD. The qualitative differences between molecular and compact tetraquarks are outlined. Consequences of the possible existence of compact tetraquarks are analyzed and shown to lead to upper bounds in the $N_c$-behavior of their decay widths. Open questions on theoretical grounds, related to the dynamics of systems composed of two quarks and two antiquarks, are addressed.
In this work, we compute masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons and tetraquarks with one and two open heavy flavors in a unified framework of MIT bag model. Using the parameters of MIT bag model, we confirm that an extra binding energy, which is supposed to exist between heavy quarks ($c$ and $b$) and between heavy and strange quarks in literatures, is required to reconcile light hadrons with heavy hadrons. Numerical calculations are made for all light mesons, heavy hadrons with one and two open heavy flavors, predicting the masses of doubly charmed baryons to be $ M(Ξ_{cc})=3.604$ G…
In the present work, we adopt the scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, axialvector and tensor (anti)diquark operators as the elementary building blocks to construct vector and tensor local four-quark currents without introducing explicit P-waves, and explore the mass spectrum of the vector hidden-charm tetraquark states via the QCD sum rules comprehensively, and revisit the interpretations of the existing $Y$ states in the scenario of vector tetraquark states. We resort to the energy scale formula to enhance the pole contributions and improve the convergent behaviors of the operator product expansion…
Diquarks are found to have the right degrees of freedom to describe the tetraquark poles in hidden-charm to open-charm meson-meson amplitudes. Compact tetraquarks result as intermediate states in non-planar diagrams of the 1/N expansion and the corresponding resonances are narrower than what estimated before. The proximity of tetraquarks to meson-thresholds has an apparent role in this analysis and, in the language of meson molecules, an halving rule in the counting of states is obtained.
By using QCD sum rules, the mass of the hidden charm tetraquark $[cu][\bar{c}\bar{d}]$ state with $I^{G} (J^{P}) = 1^+ (1^{+})$ (HCTV) is estimated, which presumably will turn out to be the newly observed charmonium-like resonance $Z_c^+(3900)$. In the calculation, contributions up to dimension eight in the operator product expansion(OPE) are taken into account. We find $m_{1^+}^c = (3912^{+306}_{-153}) \, \text{MeV}$, which is consistent, within the errors, with the experimental observation of $Z_c^+(3900)$. Extending to the b-quark sector, $m_{1^+}^b = (10561^{+395}_{-163}) \,\text{MeV}$ is …
In this article, we study the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark ($AA$) type and scalar-diquark-scalar-antidiquark ($SS$) type fully open flavor $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark states with the spin-parity $J^P={0}^+$ via the QCD sum rules. The predicted masses $M_{AA}=2.91\pm0.12\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{SS}=3.05\pm0.10\,\rm{GeV}$ support assigning the $X_0(2900)$ to be the $AA$-type scalar $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark state.
In this article, we study the masses and pole residues of the pseudoscalar-diquark-pseudoscalar-antidiquark type and vector-diquark-vector-antidiquark type scalar hidden-charm $cu\bar{c}\bar{d}$ ($cu\bar{c}\bar{s}$) tetraquark states with QCD sum rules by taking into account the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion. The predicted masses can be confronted with the experimental data in the future. Possible decays of those tetraquark states are also discussed.
We use the twist dimensions of the operators underlying the dynamical behavior of exclusive production processes as a tool for determining the structure of exotic heavy-quark states such as the $Z_c^+(4430)$ tetraquark. The resulting counting rules predict distinctive fall-offs of the cross sections in center-of-mass energy, thus distinguishing whether the tetraquarks are segregated into di-meson molecules, diquark-antidiquark pairs, or more democratically arranged four-quark states. In addition, we propose straightforward methods of experimentally producing additional exotic multiquark states…
In the framework of coupled-channel formalism the relativistic four-quark equations are found. The dynamical mixing of the meson-meson states with the four-quark states is considered. The four-quark amplitudes of the tetraquarks with open charm, including u, d, s, c quarks, are constructed. The poles of these amplitudes determine the masses and widths of tetraquarks.
The charged axial-vector $J^{P}=1^{+}$ tetraquarks $Z_{q}=[cq][\bar {b} \bar q ]$ and $Z_{s}=[cs][\bar {b} \bar s]$ with the open charm-bottom contents are studied in the diquark-antidiquark model. The masses and meson-current couplings of these states are calculated by employing QCD two-point sum rule approach, where the quark, gluon and mixed condensates up to eight dimensions are taken into account. These parameters of the tetraquark states $ Z_{q}$ and $Z_{s}$ are used to analyze the vertices $Z_q B_c ρ$ and $Z_s B_c ϕ$ to determine the strong $g_{Z_qB_c ρ}$ and $g_{Z_sB_c ϕ}$ couplings. F…
Motivated by the LHCb observation of exotic states $X_{0,1}(2900)$ with four open quark flavors in the $D^- K^+$ invariant mass distribution in the decay channel $B^\pm \to D^+ D^- K^\pm$, we study the spectrum and decay properties of the open charm tetraquarks. Using the two-body chromomagnetic interactions, we find that the two newly observed states can be interpreted as a radial excited tetraquark with $J^P=0^+$ and an orbitally excited tetraquark with $J^P=1^-$, respectively. We then explore the mass and decays of the other flavor-open tetraquarks made of $su \bar d \bar c$ and $ d s \bar …
In this article, we take the $X(5568)$ as the diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state with the spin-parity $J^P=0^+$, construct the scalar-diquark-scalar-antidiquark type current, carry out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension-10, and study the mass and pole residue in details with the QCD sum rules. We obtain the value $M_X=\left(5.57\pm0.12 \right) \,\rm{GeV}$, which is consistent with the experimental data. The present prediction favors assigning the $X(5568)$ to be the scalar tetraquark state.
The mass and meson-current coupling of the diquark-antidiquark states with the quantum numbers $J^{P}=0^{+}$ and quark contents $Z_{q}=[cq][\bar {b} \bar q ]$ and $Z_{s}=[cs][\bar {b} \bar s]$ are calculated using two-point QCD sum rule approach. In calculations the quark, gluon and mixing condensates up to eight dimensions are taken into account. The parameters of the scalar tetraquarks extracted from this analysis are employed to explore the strong vertices $Z_q B_c π$, $Z_q B_c η$ and $Z_s B_c η$ and compute the couplings $g_{Z_qB_c π}$, $g_{Z_qB_c η}$ and $g_{Z_sB_c η}$. The strong couplin…
In this article, we take the pseudoscalar, scalar, axialvector, vector, tensor (anti)diquark operators as the basic constituents, and construct the scalar, axialvector and tensor tetraquark currents to study the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a comprehensive way. We revisit the assignments of the $X$, $Y$, $Z$ states, such as the $X(3860)$, $X(3872)$, $X(3915)$, $X(3940)$, $X(4160)$, $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4050)$, $Z_c(4055)$, $Z_c(4100)$, $Z_c(4200)$, $Z_c(4250)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_c(4600)$, etc in the scenario of tetraquark st…
We study the lifetime and weak decays of the full-heavy S-wave $0^+$ tetraquark $T^{\{bb\}}_{\{\bar c\bar c\}}$. Using the operator product expansion rooted in heavy quark expansion, we find a rather short lifetime, at the order $(0.1-0.3)\times 10^{-12}s$ depending on the inputs. With the flavor SU(3) symmetry, we then construct the effective Hamiltonian at the hadron level, and derive relations between decay widths of different channels. According to the electro-weak effective operators, we classify different decay modes, and make a collection of the golden channels, such as $T_{\{\bar c \ba…
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark type currents to interpolate the scalar, axialvector, vector, tensor doubly charmed tetraquark states, and study them with QCD sum rules systematically by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 10 in a consistent way, the predicted masses can be confronted to the experimental data in the future. We can search for those doubly charmed tetraquark states in the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka super-allowed strong decays to the charmed meson pairs.
Scalar tetraquark states are studied within the diquark-antidiquark picture in a non-relativistic approach. We consider two types of confining potentials, a quadratic and a linear one, to which we also add spin-spin, isospin-isospin, and spin-isospin interactions. We calculate the masses of the scalar diquarks and of the ground-state open and hidden charmed and bottom scalar tetraquarks. Our results indicate that the scalar resonances $D_{0}^{\ast}(2400)$ and $D_{s}(2632)$ have a sizable tetraquark amount in their wave function, while, on the other hand, it turns out that the scalar states $D_…
Masses of tetraquarks with two heavy quarks and open charm and bottom are calculated in the framework of the diquark-antidiquark picture in the relativistic quark model. All model parameters were regarded as fixed by previous considerations of various properties of mesons and baryons. The light quarks and diquarks are treated completely relativistically. The c quark is assumed to be heavy enough to make the diquark configurations dominating. The diquarks are considered not to be point-like but to have an internal structure which is taken into account by the calculated diquark form factor enter…
In this article, we tentatively assign the $Y(4140)$, $Y(4274)$ and $X(4350)$ to be the scalar and tensor $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark states, respectively, and study them with the QCD sum rules. In the operator product expansion, we take into account the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10. In calculations, we use the formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{X/Y/Z}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the energy scales of the QCD spectral densities. The numerical results favor assigning the $Y(4140)$ to be the $J^{PC}=2^{++}$ diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state, and disfavor assigning the $Y(4274)$ and $…
In this article, we construct the diquark-antidiquark type current operators to study the axialvector $B_c$-like tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. In calculations, we take the energy scale formula as a powerful constraint to choose the ideal energy scales of the QCD spectral densities and add detailed discussions to illustrate why we take the energy scale formula to improve the QCD sum rules for the doubly heavy tetraquark states. The predicted masses $M_{Z_{\bar{b}c}(1^{+-})}=7.30\pm0.08\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{Z_{\bar{b}c}(1^{++})}=7.31\pm0.08\,\rm{GeV}$ lie between the conventional $2\rm…
We embark on systematic explorations of the behaviour of tetraquark mesons (colour-singlet bound states of two quarks and two antiquarks) in the (idealized) limit of a large number $N_c$ of colour degrees of freedom of quantum chromodynamics. Considering the scattering of two ordinary mesons into two ordinary mesons, we start off with formulating a set of selection criteria that should enable us to unambiguously single out precisely those contributions to all encountered scattering amplitudes that potentially will develop tetraquark poles. Assuming that tetraquark mesons do exist and, if so, e…
The exotic state $X(5568)$ which was observed by D0 Collaboration is very likely to be a tetraquark state with four different valence quark flavors, though the existence was not confirmed by other collaborations. The possibility of such state still generate lots of interests in theory. In the paper, we will study the properties of the state under the SU(3) flavor symmetry. This four quark state with a heavy bottom quark and three light quarks(anti-quark) can form a $6$ or $\overline {15}$ representation. The weak decays can be dominant and should be discussed carefully while such state is stab…
We give heavy quark-diquark symmetry predictions for doubly heavy baryons and tetraquarks in light of the recent discovery of the $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ by LHCb. For five excited doubly charm baryons that are predicted to lie below the $Λ_c D$ threshold, we give predictions for their electromagnetic and strong decays using a previously developed chiral Lagrangian with heavy quark-diquark symmetry. Based on the mass of the $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$, the existence of a doubly heavy bottom $I=0$ tetraquark that is stable to the strong and electromagnetic decays has been predicted. If the mass of this state is below 1…
Inspired by the recent report of the exotic states $X_{0}(2900)$ and $X_{1}(2900)$ with four different quark flavors in the $D^{-}K^{+}$ invariant mass distributions of the decay process $B^{+}\rightarrow D^{+}D^{-}K^{+}$ by the LHCb collaboration, we systematically investigate the tetraquarks composed of $ud\bar{s}\bar{c}$ with meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark structures in the quark delocalization color screening model. We find that the $X_{0}(2900)$ can be interpreted as the molecular state $\bar{D^{*}}K^{*}$ with $IJ^{P}=00^{+}$. Moreover, two bound states are obtained by the channel co…
The masses of the heavy tetraquarks with open charm and bottom are calculated within the diquark-antidiquark picture in the framework of the relativistic quark model. The dynamics of the light quarks and diquarks is treated completely relativistically. The diquark structure is taken into account by calculating the diquark-gluon form factor. New experimental data on charmed and charmed-strange mesons are discussed. Our results indicate that the anomalous scalar D_{s0}^*(2317) and axial vector D_{s1}(2460) mesons could not be considered as diquark-antidiquark bound states. On the other hand, D_s…
AdS/QCD correspondence predicts the structure of quark-antiquark potential in the static limit. We use this piece of information together with the Salpeter equation (Schrödinger equation with relativistic kinematics) and a short range hyperfine splitting potential to determine quark masses and the quark potential parameters from the meson spectrum. The agreement between theory and experimental data is satisfactory provided one considers only mesons comprising at least one heavy quark. We use the same potential (in the one-gluon-exchange approximation) and these data to estimate constituent diq…
Understanding the nature of the exotic XYZ resonances is one of the open problems in hadronic spectroscopy. Despite the experimental efforts, the structure of these particles still lacks of an accepted theoretical framework. We propose to use the $Z_c^{(\prime)} \to η_c ρ$ decays as a possible discriminant between two of the most popular models: the compact tetraquark and the loosely bound meson molecule. We show that the predictions obtained within the two pictures are significantly different and therefore the proposed decay channel might shed some light on the nature of these states.
In the framework of QCD Sum Rules we investigate the $q q^\prime \bar{Q} \bar{Q}$ tetraquark structure with quantum number $J^P = 1^+$, which are embedded in two types of configurations, the $[8_c]_{q \bar{Q}} \otimes [8_c]_{q^\prime \bar{Q}}$ and $[1_c]_{q \bar{Q}} \otimes [1_c]_{q^\prime \bar{Q}}$ with $Q = b, c$, $q = u$, and $q^\prime = d, s$. Our finding confirms the Lattice QCD result that the bottom tetraquark states could exist and their masses are evaluated. In the calculation, the non-perturbative condensate contributions up to dimension eight in operator product expansion are consid…
In this article, we construct the $C \otimes γ_μC$ and $Cγ_5 \otimes γ_5γ_μC$ type currents to interpolate the vector tetraquark states, then carry out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension-10 in a consistent way, and obtain four QCD sum rules. In calculations, we use the formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{Y}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the optimal energy scales of the QCD spectral densities, moreover, we take the experimental values of the masses of the $Y(4260/4220)$, $Y(4360/4320)$, $Y(4390)$ and $Y(4660/4630)$ as input parameters and fit the pole residues to re…
We study a QCD sum rule analysis for an exotic tetraquark ud bar[s] bar[s] of J^P=0^+ and I = 1. We construct q q bar[q] bar[q] currents in a local product form and find that there are five independent currents for this channel. Due to high dimensional nature of the current, it is not easy to form a good sum rule when using a single current. This means that we do not find any sum rule window to extract reliable results, due to the insufficient convergence of the OPE and to the exceptional important role of QCD continuum. Then we examine sum rules by using currents of linear combinations of two…
The quarks and gluons are confined objects, they cannot be put on the mass-shell, it is questionable to apply the Landau equation to study the Feynman diagrams in the QCD sum rules. Furthermore, we carry out the operator product expansion in the deep Euclidean region $p^2\to -\infty$, where the Landau singularities cannot exist. The Landau equation servers as a kinematical equation in the momentum space, and is independent on the factorizable and nonfactorizable properties of the Feynman diagrams in the color space. The meson-meson scattering state and tetraquark molecular state both have four…
In this article, we study the $S\bar{S}$ type scalar tetraquark state $cq\bar{c}\bar{q}$ in details with the QCD sum rules by calculating the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion, and obtain the value $M_{Z_c}=\left(3.82^{+0.08}_{-0.08}\right)\,\rm{GeV}$, which is the lowest mass for the hidden charmed tetraquark states from the QCD sum rules. Furthermore, we calculate the hadronic coupling constants $G_{Z_cη_cπ}$ and $G_{Z_cDD}$ with the three-point QCD sum rules, then study the strong decays $ Z_c\to η_cπ\, ,\, DD$, and observe that the…
Hadrons and their distributions are the most direct observables in experiment, which would shed light on the non-perturbative mystery of quantum chromodynamics (QCD). As the result, any new hadron will challenge our current knowlege on the one hand, and provide additional inputs on the other hand. The fully heavy $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ system observed by LHCb recently opens a new era for hadron physics. We first extract the internal structure of the fully heavy tetraquarks directly from the experimental data, within the compact tetraquark picture. By fitting to the di-$J/ψ$ lineshape, we find that…
We compare two frequently discussed competing structures for a stable $\bar b \bar b u d$ tetraquark with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$ by considering a meson-meson as well as a diquark-antidiquark creation operator. We treat the heavy antiquarks as static with fixed positions and find diquark-antidiquark dominance for $\bar b \bar b$ separations $r < 0.2 \, \text{fm}$, while for $r > 0.5 \, \text{fm}$ the system essentially corresponds to a pair of $B$ mesons. For the meson-meson to diquark-antidiquark ratio of the tetraquark we obtain around $58\%/42\%$.
In recent years, the existence of a hadronically stable $\bar{b} \bar{b} u d$ tetraquark with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$ was confirmed by first principles lattice QCD computations. In this work we use lattice QCD to compare two frequently discussed competing structures for this tetraquark by considering meson-meson as well as diquark-antidiquark creation operators. We use the static-light approximation, where the two $\bar{b}$ quarks are assumed to be infinitely heavy with frozen positions, while the light $u$ and $d$ quarks are fully relativistic. By minimizing effective energies and b…
