A family of integrable $GL(NM)$ models is described. On the one hand it generalizes the classical spin Ruijsenaars--Schneider systems (the case $N=1$), and on the other hand it generalizes the relativistic integrable tops on $GL(N)$ Lie group (the case $M=1$). The described models are obtained by means of the Lax pair with spectral parameter. Equations of motion are derived. For the construction of the Lax representation the $GL(N)$ $R$--matrix in the fundamental representation of $GL(N)$ is used.
We propose relativistic generalization of integrable systems describing $M$ interacting elliptic ${\rm gl}(N)$ tops of the Euler-Arnold type. The obtained models are elliptic integrable systems, which reproduce the spin elliptic ${\rm GL}(M)$ Ruijsenaars-Schneider model for $N=1$ case, while in the $M=1$ case they turn into relativistic integrable ${\rm GL}(N)$ elliptic tops. The Lax pairs with spectral parameter on elliptic curve are constructed.
We introduce a family of classical integrable systems describing dynamics of $M$ interacting ${\rm gl}_N$ integrable tops. It extends the previously known model of interacting elliptic tops. Our construction is based on the ${\rm GL}_N$ $R$-matrix satisfying the associative Yang-Baxter equation. The obtained systems can be considered as extensions of the spin type Calogero-Moser models with (the classical analogues of) anisotropic spin exchange operators given in terms of the $R$-matrix data. In $N=1$ case the spin Calogero-Moser model is reproduced. Explicit expressions for ${\rm gl}_{NM}$-va…
We consider a special class of quantum non-dynamical $R$-matrices in the fundamental representation of ${\rm GL}_N$ with spectral parameter given by trigonometric solutions of the associative Yang-Baxter equation. In the simplest case $N=2$ these are the well-known 6-vertex $R$-matrix and its 7-vertex deformation. The $R$-matrices are used for construction of the classical relativistic integrable tops of the Euler-Arnold type. Namely, we describe the Lax pairs with spectral parameter, the inertia tensors and the Poisson structures. The latter are given by the linear Poisson-Lie brackets for th…
In this paper we suggest generalizations of elliptic integrable tops to matrix-valued variables. Our consideration is based on $R$-matrix description which provides Lax pairs in terms of quantum and classical $R$-matrices. First, we prove that for relativistic (and non-relativistic) tops such Lax pairs with spectral parameter follow from the associative Yang-Baxter equation and its degenerations. Then we proceed to matrix extensions of the models and find out that some additional constraints are required for their construction. We describe a matrix version of ${\mathbb Z}_2$ reduced elliptic t…
The equivalence between the N-particle Calogero-Moser systems and the integrable sl(N,$\mathbb{C}$)-tops is shown. New rational and trigonometric classical Lax operators for these systems are found. Relations with new solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equations for sl(N,$\mathbb{C}$) are discussed. Explicit formulae for N=2,3,4 are presented.
In the present paper we derive two well-known integrable cases of rigid body dynamics (the Lagrange top and the Clebsch system) performing an algebraic contraction on the two-body Lax matrices governing the (classical) su(2) Gaudin models. The procedure preserves the linear r-matrix formulation of the ancestor models. We give the Lax representation of the resulting integrable systems in terms of su(2) Lax matrices with rational and elliptic dependencies on the spectral parameter. We finally give some results about the many-body extensions of the constructed systems.
We describe classical top-like integrable systems arising from the quantum exchange relations and corresponding Sklyanin algebras. The Lax operator is expressed in terms of the quantum non-dynamical $R$-matrix even at the classical level, where the Planck constant plays the role of the relativistic deformation parameter in the sense of Ruijsenaars and Schneider (RS). The integrable systems (relativistic tops) are described as multidimensional Euler tops, and the inertia tensors are written in terms of the quantum and classical $R$-matrices. A particular case of ${\rm gl}_N$ system is gauge equ…
We consider a family of classical elliptic integrable systems including (relativistic) tops and their matrix extensions of different types. These models can be obtained from the "off-shell" Lax pairs, which do not satisfy the Lax equations in general case but become true Lax pairs under various conditions (reductions). At the level of the off-shell Lax matrix there is a natural symmetry between the spectral parameter $z$ and relativistic parameter $η$. It is generated by the finite Fourier transformation, which we describe in detail. The symmetry allows to consider $z$ and $η$ on an equal foot…
In our recent paper we suggested a natural construction of the classical relativistic integrable tops in terms of the quantum $R$-matrices. Here we study the simplest case -- the 11-vertex $R$-matrix and related ${\rm gl}_2$ rational models. The corresponding top is equivalent to the 2-body Ruijsenaars-Schneider (RS) or the 2-body Calogero-Moser (CM) model depending on its description. We give different descriptions of the integrable tops and use them as building blocks for construction of more complicated integrable systems such as Gaudin models and classical spin chains (periodic and with bo…
We construct multi-soliton solutions of the n-component vector nonlinear Schrödinger equation on the half-line subject to two classes of integrable boundary conditions (BCs): the homogeneous Robin BCs and the mixed Neumann/Dirichlet BCs. The construction is based on the approach of dressing the integrable BCs: soliton solutions are generated in preserving the integrable BCs at each step of the Darboux-dressing process. Under the Robin BCs, examples, including boundary-bound solitons, are explicitly derived; under the mixed Neumann/Dirichlet BCs, the boundary can act as a polarizer that tunes d…
The distinction between interacting and noninteracting integrable systems is proposed to be characterized by the Onsager matrix. It being zero is the defining property of a noninteracting integrable system. To support our view we discuss various classical and quantum integrable chains.
We consider a generalisation of the p+ip pairing Hamiltonian with external interaction terms. These terms allow for the exchange of particles between the system and its environment. As a result the u(1) symmetry associated with conservation of particle number, present in the p+ip Hamiltonian, is broken. Nonetheless the generalised model is integrable. We establish integrability using the Boundary Quantum Inverse Scattering Method, with one of the reflection matrices chosen to be non-diagonal. We also derive the corresponding Bethe Ansatz Equations, the roots of which parametrise the exact solu…
We investigate the dynamics of bipartite entanglement after the sudden junction of two leads in interacting integrable models. By combining the quasiparticle picture for the entanglement spreading with Generalised Hydrodynamics we derive an analytical prediction for the dynamics of the entanglement entropy between a finite subsystem and the rest. We find that the entanglement rate between the two leads depends only on the physics at the interface and differs from the rate of exchange of thermodynamic entropy. This contrasts with the behaviour in free or homogeneous interacting integrable syste…
We propose multidimensional versions of the Painlevé VI equation and its degenerations. These field theories are related to the isomonodromy problems of flat holomorphic infinite rank bundles over elliptic curves and take the form of non-autonomous Hamiltonian equations. The modular parameter of curves plays the role of "time". Reduction of the field equations to the zero modes leads to ${\rm SL}(N, {\mathbb C})$ monodromy preserving equations. The latter coincide with the Painlevé VI equation for $N\!=\!2$. We consider two types of the bundles. In the first one the group of automorphisms is t…
Integrable quantum field models are known to exist mostly in one space-dimension. Exploiting the concept of multi-time in integrable systems and a Lax matrix of higher scaling order, we construct a novel quantum field model in quasi-two dimensions involving interacting fields. The Yang-Baxter integrability is proved for the model by finding a new kind of commutation rule for its basic fields, representing nonstandard scalar fields along the transverse direction. In spite of a close link with the quantum Landau-Lifshitz equation, the present model differs widely from it, in its content and the …
In a many-body quantum system, local operators in Heisenberg picture $O(t) = e^{i H t} O e^{-i H t}$ spread as time increases. Recent studies have attempted to find features of that spreading which could distinguish between chaotic and integrable dynamics. The operator entanglement - the entanglement entropy in operator space - is a natural candidate to provide such a distinction. Indeed, while it is believed that the operator entanglement grows linearly with time $t$ in chaotic systems, numerics suggests that it grows only logarithmically in integrable systems. That logarithmic growth has alr…
We study integrable models for electrons in metals when the single particle spectrum is discrete. The electron-electron interactions are BCS-like pairing, Coulomb repulsion, and spin exchange coupling. These couplings are, in general, nonuniform in the sense that they depend on the levels occupied by the interacting electrons. By using the realization of spin 1/2-operators in terms of electrons the models describe spin 1/2 models with nonuniform long range interactions and external magnetic field. The integrability and the exact solution arise since the model Hamiltonians can be constructed in…
We study the finite size spectrum of integrable quantum chains of interacting non-Abelian anyons constructed using the Drinfeld double of the dihedral group $D_3$. The gapless low energy modes are identified as the direct product of two conformal field theories which can be decomposed according to the residual symmetries of the chains subject to periodic boundary conditions.
The problem of $N$ particles interacting through pairwise central forces is notoriously intractable for $N\geq3$. Some quite remarkable specific cases have been solved in one dimension, whereas higher-dimensional exactly solved systems involve velocity-dependent or many-body forces. Here we show that the guiding center approximation---valid for charges moving in two dimensions in a strong constant magnetic field---simplifies the three-body problem for an arbitrary interparticle interaction invariant under rotations and translations and makes it solvable by quadratures. This includes a broad va…
Conjecture II.3.6 of Spohn in [Spohn '91] and Lecture 7 of Jensen-Yau in [Jensen-Yau '99] ask for a general derivation of universal fluctuations of hydrodynamic limits in large-scale stochastic interacting particle systems. However, the past few decades have witnessed only minimal progress according to [Goncalves-Landim-Milanes '17]. In this paper, we develop a general method for deriving the so-called Boltzmann-Gibbs principle for a general family of non-integrable and non-stationary interacting particle systems, thereby responding to Spohn and Jensen-Yau. Most importantly, our method depends…
In the last few years, the methods of constructive Fermionic Renormalization Group have been successfully applied to the study of the scaling limit of several two-dimensional statistical mechanics models at the critical point, including: weakly non-integrable 2D Ising models, Ashkin-Teller, 8-Vertex, and close-packed interacting dimer models. In this note, we will focus on the illustrative example of the interacting dimer model and review some of the universality results derived in this context. In particular, we will discuss the massless Gaussian free field (GFF) behavior of the height fluctu…
The ground state of Shor-Movassagh chain can be analytically described by the Motzkin paths. There is no analytical description of the excited states, the model is not solvable. We prove the integrability of the model without interacting part in this paper [free Shor-Movassagh]. The Lax pair for the free Shor-Movassagh open chain is explicitly constructed. We further obtain the boundary $K$-matrices compatible with the integrability of the model on the open interval. Our construction provides a direct demonstration for the quantum integrability of the model, described by Yang-Baxter algebra. D…
We construct a new, two-parametric family of integrable models and reveal their underlying duality symmetry. A modular subgroup of this duality is shown to connect non-interacting modes of different systems. We apply the new solution and duality to a Richardson-Gaudin model and generate a novel integrable system termed the $s$-$d$ wave Richardson-Gaudin-Kitaev interacting chain, interpolating $s$- and $d$- wave superconductivity. The phase diagram of this model has a topological phase transition that can be connected to the duality, where the occupancy of the non-interacting mode serves as a t…
The model which is the generalization of the one-dimensional XY-spin chain for the case of the two-dimensional square lattice is considered. The subspace of the ``string'' states is studied. The solution to the eigenvalue problem is obtained for the single ``string'' in cases of the ``string'' with fixed ends and ``string'' of types (1,1) and (1,2) living on the torus. The latter case has the features of a self-interacting system and looks not to be integrable while the previous two cases are equivalent to the free-fermion model.
We consider a non-integrable model for interacting dimers on the two-dimensional square lattice. Configurations are perfect matchings of $\mathbb Z^2$, i.e. subsets of edges such that each vertex is covered exactly once ("close-packing" condition). Dimer configurations are in bijection with discrete height functions, defined on faces $\boldsymbolξ$ of $\mathbb Z^2$. The non-interacting model is "integrable" and solvable via Kasteleyn theory; it is known that all the moments of the height difference $h_{\boldsymbolξ}-h_{\boldsymbolη}$ converge to those of the massless Gaussian Free Field (GFF),…
