Eigenvalue inequalities for the buckling problem of the drifting Laplacian of arbitrary order

In this paper, we investigate the buckling problem of the drifting Laplacian of arbitrary order on a bounded connected domain in complete smooth metric measure spaces (SMMSs) supporting a special function, and successfully get a general inequality for its eigenvalues. By applying this general inequality, if the complete SMMSs considered satisfy some curvature constraints, we can obtain a universal inequalities for eigenvalues of this buckling problem.

Sharp Estimates for the First Eigenvalues of the Bi-drifting Laplacian

The heat trace for the drifting Laplacian and Schrödinger operators on manifolds

We study the heat trace for both the drifting Laplacian as well as Schrödinger operators on compact Riemannian manifolds. In the case of a finite regularity potential or weight function, we prove the existence of a partial (six term) asymptotic expansion of the heat trace for small times as well as a suitable remainder estimate. Heat kernel estimates and the essential spectrum on weighted manifolds

We consider a complete noncompact smooth Riemannian manifold $M$ with a weighted measure and the associated drifting Laplacian. We demonstrate that whenever the $q$-Bakry-Émery Ricci tensor on $M$ is bounded below, then we can obtain an upper bound estimate for the heat kernel of the drifting Laplacian from the upper bound estimates of the heat kernels of the Laplacians on a family of related warped product spaces. We apply these results to study the essential spectrum of the drifting Laplacian on $M$.

The Gap of the Consecutive Eigenvalues of the Drifting Laplacian on Metric Measure Spaces

In this paper, we investigate eigenvalues of the Dirichlet problem and the closed eigenvalue problem of drifting Laplacian on the complete metric measure spaces and establish the corresponding general formulas. By using those general formulas, we give some upper bounds of consecutive gap of the eigenvalues of the eigenvalue problems, which is sharp in the sense of the order of the eigenvalues. Extension of Reilly formula with applications to eigenvalue estimates for drifting Laplacins

In this paper, we extend the Reilly formula for drifting Laplacian operator and apply it to study eigenvalue estimate for drifting Laplacian operators on compact Riemannian manifolds boundary. Our results on eigenvalue estimates extend previous results of Reilly and Choi and Wang.

In this paper, we consider lower order eigenvalues of Laplacian operator with any order in Euclidean domains. By choosing special rectangular coordinates, we obtain two estimates for lower order eigenvalues.

Some inequalities between Laplacian eigenvalues on Riemannian manifolds

In this paper, we study a first Dirichlet eigenfunction of the weighted $p$-Laplacian on a bounded domain in a complete weighted Riemannian manifold. By constructing gradient estimates for a first eigenfunction, we obtain some relationships between weighted $p$-Laplacian first eigenvalues. As an immediate application, we also obtain some eigenvalue comparison results between the first Dirichlet eigenvalue of the weighted Laplacian, the first clamped plate eigenvalue and the first buckling eigenvalue.

Estimates for the higher order buckling eigenvalues in the unit sphere

We consider the higher order buckling eigenvalues of the following Dirichlet poly-Laplacian in the unit sphere $(-Δ)^p u=Λ(-Δ) u$ with order $p(\geq2)$. We obtain universal bounds on the $(k+1)$th eigenvalue in terms of the first $k$th eigenvalues independent of the domains. In particular, for $p=2$, our result is sharp than estimates on eigenvalues of the buckling problem obtained by Wang and Xia.

Gradient Estimates on Warped Product Gradient Almost Ricci Solitons

In this paper, by slightly modifying Li-Yau's technique so that we can handle drifting Laplacians, we were able to find three different gradient estimates for the warping function, one for each sign of the Einstein constant of the fiber manifold. As an application, we exhibit a nonexistence theorem for gradient almost Ricci solitons possessing certain metric properties on the base of the warped product.

Universal Bounds for Eigenvalues of the Polyharmonic Operators

We study eigenvalues of polyharmonic operators on compact Riemannian manifolds with boundary (possibly empty). In particular, we prove a universal inequality for the eigenvalues of the polyharmonic operators on compact domains in a Euclidean space.
