In the paper we discuss conformable derivative behavior in arbitrary Banach spaces and clear the connection between two conformable derivatives of different order. As a consequence we obtain the important result that an abstract function has a conformable derivative at a point (which does not coincide with the lower terminal of the conformable derivative) if and only if it has a first order derivative at the same point.
The aim of the present paper is to make some notes to the newly introduced conformable derivative as a type local fractional derivative and to present a surprising result about the relation between the conformable derivatives and the usual integer order derivatives.
We derive Taylor's Formula for conformable fractional derivatives. This is then employed to extend some recent and classical integral inequalities to the conformable fractional calculus, including the inequalities of Steffensen, Chebychev, Hermite-Hadamard, Ostrowski, and Gruss.
Let $α\in\,]0,1[$. We prove that the existence of the conformable fractional derivative $T_αf$ of a function $f:[0,\infty[\,\longrightarrow \mathbb{R}$ introduced by Khalil et al. in [R. Khalil, M. Al Horani, A. Yousef, M. Sababheh, A new definition of fractional derivative, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 264 (2014) 65-70] is equivalent to classical differentiability. Precisely the fractional $α$-derivative of $f$ is the pointwise product $T_αf(x)=x^{1-α}f^{\prime}(x)$, $x>0$. This simplifies the recent results concerning conformable fractional calculus.
Conformable fractional derivative is introduced by the authors Khalil et al. In this study we develop their concept and introduce multivariable conformable derivative for a vector valued function with several variables.
Recently, a new fractional derivative called the conformable fractional derivative is given which is based on the basic limit definition of the derivative in [1]. Then, the fractional versions of chain rules, exponential functions, Gronwall's inequality, integration by parts, Taylor power series expansions is developed in [2]. In this paper, we give conformable fractional differential transform method and its application to conformable fractional differential equations.
Recently, a new fractional derivative called the conformable fractional derivative is given on based basic limit definition derivative in [4]. In this study, linear second-order conformable differential equations using a proportional derivative are shown to be formally self-adjoint equations with respect to a certain inner product and the associated self-adjoint boundary conditions. Defining a Wronskian, we establish a Lagrange identity and Abel's formula. Several reduction-of-order theorems are given. Solutions of the conformable second-order self-adjoint equation are then shown to be related to corresponding solutions of a first-order Riccati equation and a related quadratic functional and a conformable Picone identity. The first p…
We consider a boundary value problem involving conformable derivative of order $α,$ $1<α<2$ and Dirichlet conditions. To prove the existence of solutions, we apply the method of upper and lower solutions together with Schauder's fixed-point theorem. \ Futhermore, we give the Lyapunov inequality for the corresponding problem.
We introduce the definition of conformable derivative on time scales and develop its calculus. Fundamental properties of the conformable derivative and integral on time scales are proved. Linear conformable differential equations with constant coefficients are investigated, as well as hyperbolic and trigonometric functions.
Recently, the authors Khalil, R., Al Horani, M., Yousef. A. and Sababheh, M., in " A new Denition Of Fractional Derivative, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 264. pp. 6570, 2014. " introduced a new simple well-behaved definition of the fractional derivative called conformable fractional derivative. In this article we proceed on to develop the definitions there and set the basic concepts in this new simple interesting fractional calculus. The fractional versions of chain rule, exponential functions, Gronwall's inequality, integration by parts, Taylor power series expansions, Laplace transforms and linear …
We study a nonlocal thermistor problem for fractional derivatives in the conformable sense. Classical Schauder's fixed point theorem is used to derive the existence of a tube solution.
We use the newly introduced conformable fractional derivative, which is different from the Caputo and Riemann-Liouville fractional derivatives, to reformulate several common boundary value problems, including those with conjugate, right-focal, and Lidstone conditions. With the fractional differential equation and fractional boundary conditions established, we find the corresponding Green's functions and prove their positivity under appropriate assumptions.
Using the new conformable fractional derivative, which differs from the Riemann-Liouville and Caputo fractional derivatives, we reformulate the second-order conjugate boundary value problem in this new setting. Utilizing the corresponding positive fractional Green's function, we apply a functional compression-expansion fixed point theorem to prove the existence of a positive solution. We then compare our results favorably to those based on the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative.
We introduce a truncated $M$-fractional derivative type for $α$-differentiable functions that generalizes four other fractional derivatives types recently introduced by Khalil et al., Katugampola and Sousa et al., the so-called conformable fractional derivative, alternative fractional derivative, generalized alternative fractional derivative and $M$-fractional derivative, respectively. We denote this new differential operator by $_{i}\mathscr{D}_{M}^{α,β}$, where the parameter $α$, associated with the order of the derivative is such that $ 0 <α<1 $, $β>0$ and $ M $ is the notation to designate…
The paper discusses the characteristic properties of fractional derivatives of non-integer order. It is known that derivatives of integer orders are determined by properties of differentiable functions only in an infinitely small neighborhood of the considered point. Therefore differential equation, which is considered for this point and contains a finite number of integer-order derivatives, cannot describe nonlocality in space and time. This allows us to propose a principle of nonlocality for fractional derivatives. We state that if the differential equation with fractional derivative can be …
We study a class of nonlinear implicit fractional differential equations subject to nonlocal boundary conditions expressed in terms of nonlinear integro-differential equations. Using the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem we prove, via the Kolmogorov--Riesz criteria, existence of solutions. The existence results are established in a specific fractional derivative Banach space and they are illustrated by two numerical examples.
The motivation that the field of differential equations provide to several researchers for the challenges that have been challenging them over the decades has contributed to the strengthening of the area within mathematics. In this sense, investigating important properties of solutions of differential equations, in particular fractional, has been object of study due to the exponential growth of the fractional calculus. In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of a new class of mild and strong solution of the fractional integro-differential equations in the Hilfer fractional d…

Here we research the univariate quantitative approximation, ordinary and fractional, of Banach space valued continuous functions on a compact interval or all the real line by quasi-interpolation Banach space valued neural network operators. These approximations are derived by establishing Jackson type inequalities involving the modulus of continuity of the engaged function or its Banach space valued high order derivative of fractional derivatives. Our operators are defined by using a density function generated by an algebraic sigmoid function. The approximations are pointwise and of the unifor…
We give a complete characterization of those $f: [0,1] \to X$ (where $X$ is a Banach space which admits an equivalent Fréchet smooth norm) which allow an equivalent $C^2$ parametrization. For $X=\R$, a characterization is well-known. However, even in the case $X=\R^2$, several quite new ideas are needed. Moreover, the very close case of parametrizations with a bounded second derivative is solved.
In this paper, we focus on the existence and uniqueness of solutions of boundary value problems for a coupled system of fractional differential equations with four-point boundary conditions involving $ψ$-Caputo fractional derivatives. Our investigation is based on Leray-Schauder alternative and Banach's fixed point theorem. Two examples are presented to illustrate the applicability of the results developed.
For each $1\leq p<\infty$ a space of integrable Schwartz distributions, $L^'^{\,p}$, is defined by taking the distributional derivative of all functions in $L^p$. Here, $L^p$ is with respect to Lebesgue measure on the real line. If $f\in L^'^{\,p}$ such that $f$ is the distributional derivative of $F\in L^p$ then the integral is defined as $\int^\infty_{-\infty} fG=-\int^\infty_{-\infty} F(x)g(x)\,dx$, where $g\in L^q$, $G(x)= \int_0^x g(t)\,dt$ and $1/p+1/q=1$. A norm is $\lVert f\rVert'_p=\lVert F\rVert_p$. The spaces $L^'^{\,p}$ and $L^p$ are isometrically isomorphic. Distributions in $L^'^…
Let $\Bc$ denote the real-valued functions continuous on the extended real line and vanishing at $-\infty$. Let $\Br$ denote the functions that are left continuous, have a right limit at each point and vanish at $-\infty$. Define $\acn$ to be the space of tempered distributions that are the $n$th distributional derivative of a unique function in $\Bc$. Similarly with $\arn$ from $\Br$. A type of integral is defined on distributions in $\acn$ and $\arn$. The multipliers are iterated integrals of functions of bounded variation. For each $n\in\N$, the spaces $\acn$ and $\arn$ are Banach spaces, B…
In the paper, we considered the existence and uniqueness of the global solution in the space of continuously differentiable functions for a nonlinear differential equation with the Caputo fractional derivative of general form. Our main method is to derive an integral equation corresponding to the original nonlinear fractional differential equation and to prove their eqivalence. Once we prove the equivalence, then the proof of existence and uniquness of solution can be done by standard way of using Banach fixed point theorem.
