In this paper we study some basic properties of strong λ- statistical convergence of sequences in probabilistic metric (PM) spaces. We also introduce and study the notion of strong λ-statistically Cauchyness. Further introducing the notions of strong λ-statistical limit point and strong λ-statistical cluster point of a sequence in a probabilistic metric (PM) space we examine their interrelationship.
In this paper we study some basic properties of strong A-statistical convergence and strong A-statistical Cauchyness of sequences in probabilistic metric spaces not done earlier. We also study some basic properties of strong A-statistical limit points and strong A-statistical cluster points of a sequence in a probabilistic metric space. Further we also introduce the notion of strong statistically A-summable sequence in a probabilistic metric space and study its relationship with strong A-statistical convergence.
In this paper, we have defined rough convergence and rough statistical convergence of double sequences in probabilistic normed spaces which is more generalized version than the rough statistical convergence of double sequences in normed linear spaces. Also, we have defined rough statistical cluster points of double sequences and then, investigated some important results associated with the set of rough statistical limits of double sequences in these spaces. Moreover, in the same spaces, we have proved an important relation between the set of all rough statistical cluster points and rough stati…
In this paper we consider the notion of strong $I$-statistically pre-Cauchy double sequences in probabilistic metric spaces in line of Das et. al. [6] and introduce the new concept of strong $I^*$-statistically pre-Cauchy double sequences in real line as well as in probabilistic metric spaces. We mainly study inter relationship among strong $I$-statistical convergence, strong $I$-statistical pre-Cauchy condition and strong $I^*$-statistical pre-Cauchy condition for double sequences in probabilistic metric spaces and examine some basic properties of these notions.
In this paper using a non-negative regular summability matrix $\mathcal{A}$ and a non-trivial admissible ideal $\mathcal{I}$ in $\mathbb{N}$ we study some basic properties of strong $\mathcal{A}^{\mathcal{I}}$-statistical convergence and strong $\mathcal{A}^{\mathcal{I}}$-statistical Cauchyness of sequences in probabilistic metric spaces not done earlier. We also introduce strong $\mathcal{A}^{\mathcal{I^*}}$-statistical Cauchyness in probabilistic metric space and study its relationship with strong A$\mathcal{A}^{\mathcal{I}}$-statistical Cauchyness there. Further, we study some basic propert…
An ideal $I$ is a family of subsets of positive integers $\mathbb{N}$ which is closed under taking finite unions and subsets of its elements. A sequence $(x_k)$ of real numbers is said to be lacunary $I$-convergent to a real number $\ell$, if for each $ \varepsilon> 0$ the set $$\left\{r\in \mathbb{N}:\frac{1}{h_r}\sum_{k\in J_r} |x_{k}-\ell|\geq \varepsilon\right\}$$ belongs to $I.$ The aim of this paper is to study the notion of lacunary $I$-convergence in probabilistic normed spaces as a variant of the notion of ideal convergence. Also lacunary $I$-limit points and lacunary $I$-cluster poin…
Some types of statistical convergence such as statistical order and deferred statistical convergences have been studied and investigated in Riesz spaces, recently. In this paper, we introduce the concept of deferred statistical convergence in Riesz spaces with order convergence. Moreover, we give some relations between deferred statistical order convergence and other kinds of statistical convergences.
The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, the definition of new statistical convergence with Fibonacci sequence is given and some fundamental properties of statistical convergence are examined. Second, approximation theory worked as a application of the statistical convergence.
The statistically unbounded $p$-convergence is an abstraction of the statistical order, unbounded order, and $p$-convergences. We investigate the concept of the statistically unbounded convergence on lattice-normed Riesz spaces with respect to statistical p-decreasing sequences. Also, we get some relations between this concept and the other kinds of statistical convergences on Riesz spaces.
We study the statistical convergence of metric valued sequences and of their subsequences. The interplay between the statistical and usual convergences in metric spaces is also studied.
The statistical convergence is defined for sequences with the asymptotic density on the natural numbers, in general. In this paper, we introduce the statistical convergence for nets in Riesz spaces by using the finite additive measures on directed sets. Moreover, we give some relations among the statistical convergence and the lattice properties such as the order convergence and lattice operators.
In this article, we study about the $λ$-statistical convergence with respect to the density of moduli and find some results related to statistical convergence as well. Also we introduce the concept of $f_λ$-summable sequence and try to investigate some relation between the $f_λ$-summability and module $% λ$-statistical convergence.
Several recent papers investigated unbounded and statistical versions of order convergence and topology convergence in locally solid Riesz space. In this papers, we study the statistical unbounded order and topology convergence in Riesz spaces and Banach lattices. In particular, we study the relationship of those convergence and characterize order continuous, KB, reflexive Banach lattices in terms of these convergence.
A sequence $(x_n)$ in a lattice-normed space $(X,p,E)$ is statistical $p$-convergent to $x\in X$ if there exists a statistical $p$-decreasing sequence $q\stpd 0$ with an index set $K$ such that $δ(K)=1$ and $p(x_{n_k}-x)\leq q_{n_k}$ for every $n_k\in K$. This convergence has been investigated recently for $(X,p,E)=(E,|\cdot|,E)$ under the name of statistical order convergence and under the name of statistical multiplicative order convergence, and also, for taking $E$ as a locally solid Riesz space under the names statistically unbounded $τ$-convergence and statistically multiplicative converg…
Here we fully complete the studies initiated by Vinod K. Bhardwaj and Shweta Dhawan in \cite{hindawi} which relate different convergence methods which involves the classical statistical and the classical strong Cesàro convergences by means of lacunary sequences and measures of density in $\mathbb{N}$ modulated by a modulus function $f$.
The statistical convergence is handled for sequences with the natural density, in general. In a recent paper, the statistical convergence for nets in Riesz spaces has been studied and investigated by developing topology-free techniques in Riesz spaces. In this paper, we introduce the statistically topological convergence for nets on locally solid Riesz spaces with solid topologies. Moreover, we introduce the statistical continuity on locally solid Riesz spaces.
The concept of I-statistical convergence of sequence was first defined by Das et.al [2]. In this paper we introduce and study the notion of rough I-statistical convergence of sequence in normed linear Spaces. We also define the set of rough I-statistical limits of a sequence and discuss some topological properties of this set.
In this paper, we introduce some new $I_λ$-lacunary statistically convergent sequence spaces of order $α$ defined by a Musielak-Orlicz function. We study some relations between $I_λ$-lacunary statistically convergence with lacunary $I_λ$-summable sequences. Moreover we also study about the $I_λ$-lacunary statistically convergence of sequences in topological groups and give some important inclusion theorems.
In this paper, in the line of Aytar\cite{Ay2} and Çolak \cite{Co}, we introduce the notion of rough statistical convergence of order $α$ in normed linear spaces and study some properties of the set of all rough statistical limit points of order $α$.
In this paper, we introduce the statistically multiplicative convergent sequences in locally solid Riesz algebras with respect to the algebra multiplication and the solid topology. We study on this concept and we give the notion of $\mathbb{st_m}$-bounded sequence, and also, we prove some relations between this convergence and the other convergences such as the order convergence and the statistical convergence in topological spaces. Also, we give some results related to semiprime $f$-algebras.
The concept of I-statistical convergence of a double sequence was first introduced and study by Das et. el [2]. Here in this paper we discuss some results on rough ideal statistical convergence and also we introduce the notion of rough ideal limit set and discuss some topological aspects on this set.
In this paper, we extend the notions of statistically convergence of order $β$ and strong Cesàro summability of order $β,$ and introduce the notions $f-$statistically convergence of order $β$ and strong Cesàro summability of order $β$ for $β\in \left( 0,1\right] $ with respect to an unbounded modulus function $f$ for sequences of fuzzy numbers and give some inclusion theorems.
Our main aim is to investigate the approximation properties for the summation integral type operators in a statistical sense. In this regard, we prove the statistical convergence theorem using well known Korovkin theorem and the degree of approximation is determined. Also using weight function, the weighted statistical convergence theorem with the help of Korovkin theorem is obtained. The statistical rate of convergence in the terms of modulus of continuity and function belonging to the Lipschitz class is obtained. To support the convergence results of the proposed operators to the function, g…
In this paper, we generalized the Wijsman statistical convergence of closed sets in metric space by introducing the $f$-Wijsman statistical convergence these of sets, where $f$ is an unbounded modulus. It is shown that the Wijsman convergent sequences are precisely those sequences which are $f$-Wijsman statistically convergent for every unbounded modulus $f$. We also introduced a new concept of Wijsman strong Cesàro summability with respect to a modulus, and investigate the relationships between the $f$-Wijsman statistically convergent sequences and the Wijsman strongly Cesàro summable sequenc…
In this paper, we introduce the notions of pointwise rough statistical convergence and rough statistically Cauchy sequences of real valued functions in the line of A. (T$\ddot{u}$rkmenoglu) G$\ddot{o}$khan and M. G$\ddot{u}$ng$\ddot{o}$r \cite{Tu1}. Furthermore we study thier equivalence.
The present work considers two important convergence techniques, namely deferred type statistical convergence and P-summability method in respect of positive linear operators. With regard to these techniques, we state and prove two general non-trivial Korovkin type approximation results for such operators. Further, we define an operator based on multivariate q-Lagrange-Hermite polynomials and exhibit the applicability of our general theorems.
In this paper, we define probabilistic n-Banach spaces along with some concepts in this field and study convergence in these spaces by some lemmas and theorem.
The concept of statistical convergence based on asymptotic density is introduced in this article through nets. Some possible extensions of classical results for statistical convergence of sequences are obtained in this article, with extensions to nets.
The objective of this paper is to introduce the notion of generalized almost statistical (briefly, GAS) convergence of bounded real sequences, which generalizes the notion of almost convergence as well as statistical convergence of bounded real sequences. As a special kind of Banach limit functional, we also introduce the concept of Banach statistical limit functional and the notion of GAS convergence mainly depends on the existence of Banach statistical limit functional. We prove the existence of Banach statistical limit functional. Then we have shown the existence of a GAS convergent sequenc…
