Generalized Cesàro operators on Dirichlet-type spaces

In this note, we introduce and study a new kind of generalized Cesàro operators $\mathcal{C}_μ$, induced by a positive Borel measure $μ$ on $[0, 1)$, between the Dirichlet-type spaces. We characterize the measures $μ$ for which $\mathcal{C}_μ$ is bounded (compact) from one Dirichlet-type space $\mathcal{D}_α$ into another one $\mathcal{D}_β$.

On generalized Cesàro stable functions

The notion of Cesàro stable function is generalized by introducing Cesàro mean of type $(b-1;c)$ which give rise to a new concept of generalized Cesàro stable function. As an application of generalized Cesàro stable functions we also prove for a convex function of order $λ\in[1/2,1)$, its Cesàro mean of type $(b-1;c)$ is close-to-convex of order $λ$. Further two conjectures are also posed in the direction of generalized Cesàro stable function. Some particular cases of these conjectures are also discussed.

Generalized Hardy-Cesàro operators between weighted spaces

We characterize those non-negative, measurable functions $ψ$ on $[0,1]$ and positive, continuous functions $ω_1$ and $ω_2$ on $\mathbb R^+$ for which the generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator $$(U_ψf)(x)=\int_0^1 f(tx)ψ(t)\,dt$$ defines a bounded operator $U_ψ:L^1(ω_1)\to L^1(ω_2)$. Furthermore, we extend $U_ψ$ to a bounded operator on $M(ω_1)$ with range in $L^1(ω_2)\oplus\mathbb Cδ_0$. Finally, we show that the zero operator is the only weakly compact generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator from $L^1(ω_1)$ to $L^1(ω_2)$.

A generalized weighted Hardy-Cesàro operator, and its commutator on weighted $L^p$ and BMO spaces

In this paper, we introduce a new weighted Hardy-Cesàro operator defined by $U_{ψ,s}f(x)=\int\limits_0^1 f(s(t)\cdot x) ψ(t)dt$, which is associated to the parameter curve $s(t,x)=s(t)x$. Under certain conditions on $s(t)$ and on an absolutely homogeneous weight function $ω$, we characterize the weight function $ψ$ such that $U_{ψ,s}$ is bounded on $L^p(ω)$, $BMO(ω)$. An elementary approach to asymptotic behavior in the Cesàro sense and applications to the Laplace and Stieltjes transforms

We present a elementary approach to asymptotic behavior of generalized functions in the Cesàro sense. Our approach is based on Yosida's subspace of Mikusiński operators. Applications to Laplace and Stieltjes transforms are given.

On generalized Hardy classes of Dirichlet series

We generalize the Hardy class H^2 of Dirichlet series studied by Hedenmalm, Lindqvist, Olofsson, Olsen, Saksman, Seip and others to consider more general Dirichlet series. We prove some results on this class, such as estimates for its logarithmic L^1-norm in short intervals. We relate this to, and use these results to make a recent nonvanishing result of Dirichlet series of ours more explicit. In particular we give an application on the Hurwitz zeta-function.

IP-Dirichlet measures and IP-rigid dynamical systems: an approach via generalized Riesz products

If $(n_{k})_{k\ge 1}$ is a strictly increasing sequence of integers, a continuous probability measure $σ$ on the unit circle $\mathbb{T}$ is said to be IP-Dirichlet with respect to $(n_{k})_{k\ge 1}$ if $\hatσ(\sum_{k\in F}n_{k})\to 1 $ as $F$ runs over all non-empty finite subsets $F$ of $\mathbb{N}$ and the minimum of $F$ tends to infinity. IP-Dirichlet measures and their connections with IP-rigid dynamical systems have been investigated recently by Aaronson, Hosseini and Lemańczyk. We simplify and generalize some of their results, using an approach involving generalized Riesz products.

Composition operators and generalized primes

We study composition operators on the Hardy space $\mathcal{H}^2$ of Dirichlet series with square summable coefficients. Our main result is a necessary condition, in terms of a Nevanlinna-type counting function, for a certain class of composition operators to be compact on $\mathcal{H}^2$. To do that we extend our notions to a Hardy space $\mathcal{H}_Λ^2$ of generalized Dirichlet series, induced in a natural way by a sequence of Beurling's primes.
