Lusztig defined certain involutions on the equivariant K-theory of Slodowy varieties and gave a characterization of certain bases called canonical bases. In this paper, we give a conjectural generalization of these involutions and K-theoretic canonical bases to conical symplectic resolutions which have good Hamiltonian torus actions and state several conjectures related to them which we check for toric hyper-Kahler manifolds. We also propose an elliptic analogue of these bar involutions. As a verification of our proposal, we explicitly construct elliptic lifts of K-theoretic canonical bases and prove that they are invariant under elliptic bar involutions for toric hyper-Kahler manifolds.
The aim of this paper is to solve a uniform version of the Yau-Tian-Donaldson conjecture for polarized toric manifolds. Also, we show a combinatorial sufficient condition for uniform relative K-polystability.
The purpose of this paper is to calculate the support of the multiplier ideal sheaves derived from the Kähler-Ricci flow on certain toric Fano manifolds with large symmetry. The early idea of this paper has already been in Appendix of \cite{futaki-sano0711}.
We study CR geometry in arbitrary codimension, and introduce a process, which we call the Levi-Kahler quotient, for constructing Kahler metrics from CR structures with a transverse torus action. Most of the paper is devoted to the study of Levi-Kahler quotients of toric CR manifolds, and in particular, products of odd dimensional spheres. We obtain explicit descriptions and characterizations of such quotients, and find Levi-Kahler quotients of products of 3-spheres which are extremal in a weighted sense introduced by G. Maschler and the first author.
In this note we report on examples of 7- and 8-dimensional toric Fano manifolds that are not symmetric and still admit a Kaehler-Einstein metric. This answers a question first posed by V.V. Batyrev and E. Selivanova. The examples were found in the classification of toric Fano manifolds up to dimension 8 obtained by M. Oebro. We also discuss related open questions and conjectures.
A theorem of Delzant states that any symplectic manifold $(M,\om)$ of dimension $2n$, equipped with an effective Hamiltonian action of the standard $n$-torus $\T^n = \R^{n}/2π\Z^n$, is a smooth projective toric variety completely determined (as a Hamiltonian $\T^n$-space) by the image of the moment map $ϕ:M\to\R^n$, a convex polytope $P=ϕ(M)\subset\R^n$. In this paper we show, using symplectic (action-angle) coordinates on $P\times \T^n$, how all $\om$-compatible toric complex structures on $M$ can be effectively parametrized by smooth functions on $P$. We also discuss some topics suited for a…
In this paper, we extend our geometrical derivation of expansion coefficients of mirror maps by localization computation to the case of toric manifolds with two Kähler forms. Especially, we take Hirzebruch surfaces F_{0}, F_{3} and Calabi-Yau hypersurface in weighted projective space P(1,1,2,2,2) as examples. We expect that our results can be easily generalized to arbitrary toric manifold.
We show that, up to biholomorphism, there is at most one complete $T^n$-invariant shrinking gradient Kähler-Ricci soliton on a non-compact toric manifold $M$. We also establish uniqueness without assuming $T^n$-invariance if the Ricci curvature is bounded and if the soliton vector field lies in the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{t}$ of $T^n$. As an application, we show that, up to isometry, the unique complete shrinking gradient Kähler-Ricci soliton with bounded scalar curvature on $\mathbb{CP}^{1} \times \mathbb{C}$ is the standard product metric associated to the Fubini-Study metric on $\mathbb{CP}^…
The global holomorphic α-invariant introduced by Tian is closely related with the study in the existence of Kahler-Einstein metric. We apply the result of Tian, Lu and Zelditch on polarized Kahler metrics to approximate plurisubharmonic functions and compute the α-invariant of toric Fano manifolds.
We extend Nadel's results on some conditions for the multiplier ideal sheaves to satisfy which are described in terms of an obstruction defined by the first author. Applying our extension we can determine the multiplier ideal sheaves on toric del Pezzo surfaces which do not admit Kähler-Einstein metrics. We also show that one can define multiplier ideal sheaves for Kähler-Ricci solitons and extend the result of Nadel using the holomorphic invariant defined by Tian and Zhu.
In this note, we prove that on polarized toric manifolds the relative $K$-stability with respect to Donaldson's toric degenerations is a necessary condition for the existence of Calabi's extremal metrics, and also we show that the modified $K$-energy is proper in the space of $G_0$-invariant Kähler metrics for the case of toric surfaces which admit the extremal metrics.
Let $X$ be a compact toric extremal Kähler manifold. Using the work of Székelyhidi, we provide a combinatorial criterion on the fan describing $X$ to ensure the existence of complex deformations of $X$ that carry extremal metrics. As an example, we find new CSC metrics on 4-points blow-ups of $\C¶^1\times\C¶^1$.
In this article we present a formula for the plurigenera of minimal models of nondegenerate toric hypersurfaces, which is valid in arbitrary dimension and which expresses these invariants through lattice points on the Fine interior. From this formula we derive a formula for the volume of the canonical divisor of the toric hypersurface. We also study the pluricanonical mappings and show under some restrictions how to construct a canonical model of the toric hypersurface.
For any Lagrangean Kähler submanifold $M \subset T^*{\Bbb C}^n$, there exists a canonical hyper Kähler metric on $T^*M$. A Kähler potential for this metric is given by the generalized Calabi Ansatz of the theoretical physicists Cecotti, Ferrara and Girardello. This correspondence provides a method for the construction of (pseudo) hyper Kähler manifolds with large automorphism group. Using it, a class of pseudo hyper Kähler manifolds of complex signature $(2,2n)$ is constructed. For any hyper Kähler manifold $N$ in this class a group of automorphisms with a codimension one orbit on $N$ is speci…
This note presents basic restrictions on the topology "general" Lagrangian surfaces of hyper-Kähler $4$-folds and a remark on the interaction of a Lagrangian subvariety with a Lagrangian fibration of the associated hyper-Kähler variety.
Toric hyperk{ä}hler manifolds are quaternion analog of toric varieties. Bielawski pointed out that they can be glued by cotangent bundles of toric varieties. Following his idea, viewing both toric varieties and toric hyperk{ä}her manifolds as GIT quotients, we first establish geometrical criteria for the semi-stable points. Then based on these criteria, we show that the cotangent bundles of compact toric varieties in the core of toric hyperk{ä}hler manifold are sufficient to glue the desired toric hyperk{ä}hler manifold.
We compute the quantum cohomology ring $H^*_φ({\bf P}, {\bf C})$ of an arbitrary $d$-dimensional smooth projective toric manifold ${\bf P}_Σ$ associated with a fan $Σ$. The multiplicative structure of $H^*_φ({\bf P}_Σ, {\bf C})$ depends on the choice of an element $avarphi$ in the ordinary cohomology group $H^2({\bf P}_Σ, {\bf C})$. There are many properties of the quantum cohomology rings $H^*_φ({\bf P}_Σ, {\bf C})$ which are supposed to be valid for quantum cohomology rings of Kähler manifolds

Let $X$ be a complex toric Fano $n$-fold and ${\cal N}(T)$ the normalizer of a maximal torus $T$ in the group of biholomorphic authomorphisms $Aut(X)$. We call $X$ {\em symmetric} if the trivial character is a single ${\cal N}(T)$-invariant algebraic character of $T$. Using an invariant $α_G(X)$ introduced by Tian, we show that all symmetric toric Fano $n$-folds admit an Einstein-Kähler metric. We remark that so far one doesn't know any example of a toric Fano $n$-fold $X$ such that $Aut(X)$ is reductive, the Futaki character of $X$ vanishes, but $X$ is not symmetric.
