The discrepancy between the measured value and the Standard Model prediction of the muon anomalous magnetic moment is one of the most important issues in the particle physics. It is known that introducing a mediator boson X with the $μτ$ lepton flavor violating (LFV) couplings is one good solution to explain the discrepancy, due to the $τ$ mass enhancement in the one-loop correction. In this paper, we study the signal of this model, i.e. the same-sign leptons, in the Belle II experiment, assuming the flavor-diagonal couplings are suppressed. We show that the Belle II experiment is highly sensitive to the scenario in the mediator mass range of ${\cal O}(1-10)$~GeV, using the $e^+e^- \to μ^\pmτ^\mp X \toμ^\pm μ^\pm τ^\mp τ^\mp$ process induced by the $X$.
Motivated by the long-lasting $3.5σ$ discrepancy in the anomalous magnetic moment of muon, we consider a new muon-specific force mediated by a light gauge boson, $X$, with mass $m_X < 2m_μ$ and the coupling constant $g_X \sim (10^{-4}, 10^{-3})$. We show that the Belle~II experiment has a robust chance to probe such a light boson in $e^+ e^- \to μ^+ μ^- + X$ channel and cover the most interesting parameter space explaining the discrepancy with the planned target luminosity, $\int dt \ {\cal L}=50~{\rm ab^{-1}}$. The clean signal of muon-pair plus missing energy at Belle II can be a smoking gun…
In this work, we study the lepton number violating tau decays via two intermediate on-shell Majorana neutrinos $N_j$ into two charged pions, and a charged lepton $τ^{\pm} \to π^{\pm} N_j \to π^{\pm} π^{\pm} \ell^{\mp}$. We consider the scenario where the heavy neutrino masses are within $0.5$ GeV $\leq M_N \leq 1.5$ GeV. We evaluated the possibility to measure the modulation of the decay width along the detector length for these processes at taus factories, such as Belle II. We study some realistic conditions which could lead to the observation of this phenomenon at futures $τ$'s factories.
We report on the recent results of searches for lepton-flavor-violating tau decays as well as lepton-number-violating B decays with the world-highest data samples accumulated at the Belle.
We consider low-energy CPT-violating modifications in charged current weak interactions and analyze possible ramifications in muon and antimuon decays. We calculate the lifetime of muon and antimuon with these modifications, and from the result, put bounds on the CPT-violating parameters. Moreover, we elaborate on the muon and antimuon decay rate differentials in electron energy and spatial angle, which entail interesting phenomenological consequences presenting new ways to constrain CPT violation in charged lepton decays.
Recently, it was pointed out that the electron and muon g-2 discrepancies can be explained simultaneously by a flavor-violating axion-like particle (ALP). We show that the parameter regions favored by the muon g-2 are already excluded by the muonium-antimuonium oscillation bound. In contrast, those for the electron g-2 can be consistent with this bound when the ALP is heavier than 1.5 GeV. We propose to search for a signature of the same-sign and same-flavor lepton pairs and the forward-backward muon asymmetry to test the model at the Belle II experiment.
We study the T violating transverse muon polarization in the decay of $K^+\to μ^+νγ$ due to CP violation in theories beyond the standard model. We find that the polarization asymmetry could be large in some CP violation models and it may be detectable at the ongoing KEK experiment of E246 as well as the proposed BNL experiment.
Neutrino oscillation signals at muon storage rings can be faked by supersymmetric (SUSY) interactions in an R-parity violating scenario. We investigate the $τ$-appearance signals for both long-baseline and near-site experiments, and conclude that the latter is of great use in distinguishing between oscillation and SUSY effects. On the other hand, SUSY can cause a manifold increase in the event rate for wrong-sign muons at a long-baseline setting, thereby providing us with signatures of new physics.
We investigate a two Higgs doublet model with extra flavour depending $U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry where $Z'$ boson interactions can explain the Atomki anomaly by choosing appropriate charge assignment for the SM fermions. For parameter region explaining the Atomki anomaly we obtain light scalar boson with $\mathcal{O}(10)$ GeV mass, and we explore scalar sector to search for allowed parameter space. We then discuss anomalous magnetic dipole moment of muon and lepton flavour violating processes induced by Yukawa couplings of our model.
A lepton-flavor violating (LFV) Z' boson may mimic some of the phenomena usually attributed to supersymmetric theories. Using a conservative model of LFV Z' bosons, the recent BNL E821 muon g-2 deviation allows for a LFV Z' interpretation with a boson mass up to 4.8 TeV while staying within limits set by muon conversion, mu -> e gamma, and mu -> eee. This model is immediately testable as one to twenty e^+e^- -> mu tau events are predicted for an analysis of the LEP II data. Future muon conversion experiments, MECO and PRIME, are demonstrated to have potential to probe very high boson masses wi…
We study effects of unparticle physics on muon g-2 and LFV tau decay processes. LFV interactions between the Standard Model sector and unparticles can explain the difference of experimental value of muon g-2 from the Standard Model prediction. While the same couplings generate LFV tau decay, we found that LFV coupling can be of O(0.1 ... 1) without conflict with experimental bounds of LFV tau decay if the scaling dimension of unparticle operator d_{U} > 1.6.
We study the one-loop induced muon number processes when the standard model is minimally extended to include a $\rm SU(2)$ singlet of a charged scalar $h^+$ and a neutral fermion $N$. We find that $μ\rightarrow e γ$ is more sensitive for the former model whereas $μ-e$ conversion in nuclei for the latter. Effects of a scalar leptoquark $y^{1/3}$ and a heavy vector fermion $E^-$, which induce tree level rare muon decays, are also discussed.
We consider the lepton number violating decays $B \to μ^{\pm} μ^{\pm} π^{\mp}$ and $B \to D^{(*)} μ^{\pm} μ^{\pm} π^{\mp}$ which may be detected at LHCb and Belle-II experiments; and $B \to μ^{\pm} μ^{\pm} e^{\mp} ν$ and $B \to D^{(*)} μ^{\pm} μ^{\pm} e^{\mp} ν$ decays which may be detected at Belle-II experiment. The projected total number of produced $B$ mesons is $4.8 \times 10^{12}$ at LHCb upgrade and $5 \times 10^{10}$ at Belle-II. For the case that the above decays are not detected, we deduce the new upper bounds (sensitivity limits) for the mixing parameter $|U_{μN}|^2$ of heavy steril…
We analyze the flavor violating muon decay $μ\rightarrow eχ$, where $χ$ is a massive gauge boson, with emphasis in the regime where $χ$ is ultralight. We first study this process from an effective field theory standpoint in terms of form factors. We then present two explicit models where $μ\rightarrow eχ$ is generated at tree level and at the one-loop level. We also comment on the prospects of observing the process $μ\rightarrow eχ$ in view of the current limits on $μ\rightarrow 3e$ from the SINDRUM collaboration.
Neutrino oscillation signals at muon storage rings (MSR) can be mimicked by Supersymmetric (SUSY) interactions in an R-parity violating scenario. We have investigated the $τ$-appearance signals for both long-baseline and near-site experiments, and concluded that the latter is of great use in distinguishing between oscillation and SUSY effects. On the other hand, SUSY can cause a manifold increase in the event rate for wrong-sign muons at a long-baseline setting, thereby providing us with signatures of new physics.
We consider L-violating Supersymmetric Models to explain the recent muon $g_μ -2$ deviation from the Standard Model. The order of trilinear L-violating couplings which we require also generate neutrino mass which is somewhat higher than expected unless one considers highly suppressed $L-R$ mixing of sfermions. However, without such fine tuning for sfermions it is possible to get appropriate muon $g_μ-2$ deviation as well as neutrino mass if one considers some horizontal symmetry for the lepton doublet. Our studies show that $g_μ -2$ deviation may not imply upper bound of about 500 GeV on masse…
The coherent muon-electron conversion rates in various nuclei are calculated for general lepton flavor violating interactions. We solve the Dirac equations numerically for the initial state muon and the final state electron in the Coulomb force, and perform the overlap integrals between the wave functions and the nucleon densities. The results indicate that the conversion branching ratio increases for a light nucleus up to the atomic number Z ~ 30, is largest for Z = 30 -- 60, and becomes smaller for a heavy nucleus with Z > (~ 60). We also discuss the uncertainty from the input proton and neu…
We investigate the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment (MDM), the muon electric dipole moment (EDM) and the lepton-flavour-violating decays of the $τ-$lepton, $τ\to μγ$ and $τ\to 3μ$, in the CP-violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with nonuniversal soft-supersymmetry breaking. We evaluate numerically the muon EDM and the branching ratios $B(τ\to μγ)$ and $B(τ\to 3μ)$, after taking into account the experimental constraints from the electron EDM and muon MDM. Upon imposition of the experimental limits on our theoretical predictions for the aforementioned branching ratios and …
We present a new class of constraints to the lepton-family number and R-parity violating couplings from muonium conversion, $μ^{-} + {_{22}^{48}} Ti \to e^{-} + {_{22}^{48}} Ti$, a class of tau decays, $τ\to l +$ (light meson) with $l= μor e$, and $J/ψ$ and $π^0$ decays into a lepton pair. We find that $μ^{-} + {_{22}^{48}} Ti \to e^- + {_{22}^{48}} Ti$ provides one of the strongest constraints along with $Δm_{K}, Δm_{B}$, $μ\to e γ$ and the neutrinoless double $β$ decay. Search for these lepton-family number violating (LFNV) decays forbidden in the standard model is clearly warranted in vario…
With just two R-parity violating couplings, $λ'_{223}$ and $λ'_{323}$, we correlate several channels, namely, $D_s \to \ell ν$ ($\ell = μ, τ$), $(g-2)_μ$, and some lepton flavor violating $τ$ decays. For $λ'_{223} = λ'_{323} \sim 0.3$ and for a common superpartner mass of 300 GeV, which explain the recently observed excesses in the above $D_s$ decay channels, we predict the following R-parity violating contributions: ${\rm Br} (τ\to μγ) \sim 4.5 \cdot 10^{-8}$, ${\rm Br} (τ\to μμμ) \sim 1.2 \cdot 10^{-8}$, ${\rm Br} (τ\to μη/η') \sim 4 \cdot 10^{-10}$, and $(g_μ-2)/2 \sim 4 \cdot 10^{-11}$. We…
We consider an effective nondiagonal coupling $H\barμτ$ and present the analysis of the Higgs boson mediated lepton-flavor violating (LFV) reaction $μ^-μ^+ --> μτ$. For a Higgs boson mass around 115 GeV and convenient values of the strength of the coupling $H\barμτ$, which are within the bounds obtained from the experimental limits on the LFV decays $τ-->ημ$ and $τ-->μγ$, we found that there would be up to a few hundreds of $μτ$ events per year at a muon collider running with an integrated luminosity of $1 fb^{-1}$. We paid special attention on the background for this LFV reaction, which arise…
We study the pair-production of charginos in the CP-violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at center-of-mass energies around the heavy neutral Higgs boson resonances. If these resonances are nearly degenerate, as it can happen in the Higgs decoupling limit, radiatively induced scalar-pseudoscalar transitions can be strongly enhanced. The resulting mixing in the Higgs sector leads to large CP-violating effects, and a change of their mass spectrum. For longitudinally polarized muon beams, we analyze CP asymmetries which are sensitive to the interference of the two heavy neutral Higgs bo…
This note presents an analysis of lepton-flavour-violating muon decays within the framework of a low-energy effective field theory that contains higher-dimensional operators allowed by QED and QCD symmetries. The decay modes $μ\to e γ$ and $μ\to 3e$ are investigated below the electroweak symmetry-breaking scale, down to energies at which such processes occur, i.e. the muon mass scale. The complete class of dimension-5 and dimension-6 operators is studied systematically at the tree level, and one-loop contributions to the renormalisation group equations are fully taken into account. Current exp…
In the recently proposed minimal supersymmetric SO(10) model, the neutrino Dirac Yukawa coupling matrix, together with all the other fermion mass matrices, is completely determined once free parameters in the model are appropriately fixed so as to accommodate the recent neutrino oscillation data. Using this unambiguous neutrino Dirac Yukawa couplings, we calculate the lepton flavor violating (LFV) processes and the muon g-2 assuming the minimal supergravity scenario. The resultant rates of the LFV processes are found to be large enough to well exceed the proposed future experimental bound, whi…
In general, attempts to extend the standard model will include extra gauge structure. We parameterize string and technicolor models for a Z' boson with primitive lepton flavor violating interactions. Calculations for its muon conversion rate (mu N -> e N) on Titanium are made and used to show the potential of forthcoming experiments MECO at Brookhaven National Laboratory and PRIME at the Japan Hadron Facility (to be renamed). For reasonable choices of parameters, such U(1) bosons with masses the order 10 TeV and mu-e Z' charge as low as ~10^-5 are demonstrated to be accessible for MECO and PRI…
Motivated by recent results from the LHCb, BABAR and Belle collaborations on B\to D^{(*)}\ell^-\barν_\ell decays, which significantly deviate from the Standard Model and hint the possible new physics beyond the Standard Model, we probe the R-parity violating supersymmetric effects in B^-_c\to \ell^-\barν_\ell and B\to D^{(*)}\ell^-\barν_\ell decays. We find that (i) \mathcal{B}(B^-_c\to e^- \barν_e) and \mathcal{B}(B^-_c\toμ^-\barν_μ) are sensitive to the constrained slepton exchange couplings; (ii) the normalized forward-backward asymmetries of B\to De^-\barν_{e} decays have been greatly affe…
We generalize the existing analyses of the parity violating muon polarization asymmetry $Δ_{LR}$ in $K^+\toπ^+μ^+μ^-$ beyond the leading logarithmic approximation. The inclusion of next--to--leading QCD corrections reduces the residual dependence on the renormalization scales, which is quite pronounced in the leading order. This leads to a considerably improved accuracy in the perturbative calculation of the short distance dominated quantity $Δ_{LR}$. Accordingly this will also allow to obtain better constraints on the Wolfenstein parameter $\varrho$ from future measurements of $Δ_{LR}$. For $…
The flavor violating $μ^--e^-$ conversion in nuclei is studied within the minimal supersymmetric standard model. We focus on the R-parity violating contributions at tree level including the trilinear and the bilinear terms in the superpotential as well as in the soft supersymmetry breaking sector. The nucleon and nuclear structure have consistently been taken into account in the expression of the $μ^--e^-$ conversion branching ratio constructed in this framework. We have found that the contribution of the strange quark sea of the nucleon is comparable with that of the valence quarks. From the …
We investigate Lepton-Flavor Violating (LFV) decays of Higgs to muon-tau in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 (SUSYE331) model. In the presence of flavor mixing in sleptons {mu,tau} and large values of v/v', the ratio of Br(H -->tau^+mu^-)/Br(H -->tau^+tau^-) can reach to non-negligible values O(10^{-3}), as in many known SUSY models. We predict that for the Standard Model Higgs boson, the LHC may detect its decay to muon and tauon. We also investigate the asymmetry between left and right LFV values of corrections and prove that the LFV effects are dominated by the left FLV term, which is O(…
We study the phenomenology of a particular leptoquark extension of the Standard Model (SM), namely the doublet-singlet scalar leptoquark extension of the SM (DSL-SM). Besides generating Majorana mass for neutrinos, these leptoquarks contribute to muon and electron $(g-2)$ and various lepton flavour violating processes. Collider signatures of the benchmark points (BPs), consistent with the neutrino oscillation data, anomalous muon/electron magnetic moments, experimental bounds on the charged lepton flavour violation observables, etc., are studied at the LHC/FCC with centre-of-mass energies of 1…
Now the bounds on the lepton-flavor violating (LFV) decay modes of tau lepton are being improved by the Belle experiment in the KEK B factory. In this paper the LFV decay of tau lepton is discussed in the supersymmetric seesaw model, using the current neutrino oscillation data.
Axion-Like Particles (ALPs) are pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons associated with spontaneously broken global $U(1)$ symmetries. Such particles can have lepton-flavor-violating (LFV) couplings to the SM charged leptons. LFV ALPs provide the possibility to address some of the SM long-lasting problems. We investigate the sensitivity of a future muon collider suggested by the Muon Accelerator Program (MAP) to the production of LFV ALPs in the ALP mass range $m_a\leq1$ MeV. ALPs are assumed to be produced through the LFV decay $τ\ra\ell a$ ($\ell=e,μ$) of one of the tau leptons produced in the muon-an…
Although the Lepton Flavor Violating (LFV) decay $μ^+\to e^+ γ$ is forbidden in the Standard Model (SM), it can take place within various theories beyond the SM. If the branching ratio of this decay saturates its present bound [{\it i.e.,} Br$(μ^+ \to e^+γ)\sim 10^{-11}$], the forthcoming experiments can measure the branching ratio with high precision and consequently yield information on the sources of LFV. In this letter, we show that for polarized $μ^+$, by studying the angular distribution of the transversely polarized positron and linearly polarized photon we can derive information on the…
It is argued that a precise measurement of the transverse component of the muon spin in the decay K --> mu nu gamma makes it possible to obtain more stringent limits on CP-violating parameters of the leptoquark, SUSY and left-right symmetric models. The results of the calculations of the CP-even transverse component of the muon spin in the decay K --> mu nu gamma due to the final-state electromagnetic interactions are presented. The weighted average of the transverse component of the muon spin comprises 2.3 times 10^{-4}.
Bilinear R-parity violating supersymmetric model is a viable model which can explain the smallness of neutrino masses and the mixing pattern in the lepton sector. In this model, there is a common set of parameters which determine the neutralino and chargino masses, also determine the neutrino masses and the anomalous magnetic moment of muon, $(g-2)_μ$. From the experimental data on neutrino masses and mixing angles, and also from the fact that the experimentally measured value of $(g-2)_μ$ differs from the corresponding standard model value by 3$σ$, we have analyzed some constraints on these m…
The aim of the work is to study LFV in a newly proposed Seesaw model of neutrino mass and to see whether it could explain LSND excess. The motivation of this Seesaw model was that there was no new physics beyond the TeV scale. By studying μ\to 3e in this model, it is shown that the upper bound on the branching ratio requires Higgs mass m_{h} of a new scalar doublet with lepton number L=-1 needed in the model has to be about 9 TeV. The predicted branching ratio for μ\to eν_{l}\barν_{l} is too small to explain the LSND. PACS: 11.30.Hv, 14.60.Pq
The measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon exhibits a long standing discrepancy compared to the Standard model prediction. In this paper, we concentrate on this issue in the framework of $R$-parity violating Minimal supersymmetric standard model. Such a scenario provides substantial contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon while satisfying constraints from low energy experimental observables as well as neutrino mass. In addition, we point out that the implication of such operators satisfying muon $g-2$ are immense from the perspective of the LHC experiment, l…
We study in the framework of R-parity violating supersymmetric theories the effect of R-parity violation due to the operator L_i L_j \bar{E_k} on the (V-A) structure of the muon decay. The precisely measured muon decay parameters can constrain a product of R-parity violating couplings: |λ_{232}λ_{131}| < 0.022 at the 90% CL, which is complementary to the previous limits obtained by the e-μuniversality in τdecay.
We report the recent results of a search for lepton-flavor-violating tau decays and a search for CP violation in tau to nu Ks pi using a large data sample accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+e^- collider. The sensitivity to these modes is significantly improved compared to previous experiments.
There is no guarantee that the violation of lepton number, assuming it exists, will primarily manifest itself in neutrinoless double beta decay ($0νββ$). Lepton-number violation and lepton-flavor violation may be related, and much-needed information regarding the physics that violates lepton number can be learned by exploring observables that violate lepton flavors other than electron flavor. One of the most promising observables is $μ^- \rightarrow e^+$ conversion, which can be explored by experiments that are specifically designed to search for $μ^- \rightarrow e^-$ conversion. We survey lep…
A detailed study of the muonic analogue of neutrinoless double beta decay, (muon^-,muon^+) conversion, has been carried out for the A=44 nuclear system. We studied several lepton number violating (LNV) mechanisms potentially triggering this process: exchange by light and heavy Majorana neutrinos as well as exchange by supersymmetric particles participating in R-parity violating interactions. The nuclear structure has been taken into account within the renormalized Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation method. To our knowledge, this is the first realistic treatment of nuclear structure aspec…
We propose a new strategy for detecting the CP-violating phases and the effective mass of muon Majorana neutrinos by measuring observables associated with neutrino-antineutrino oscillations in $π^{\pm}$ decays. Within the generic framework of quantum field theory, we compute the non-factorizable probability for producing a pair of same-charged muons in $π^{\pm}$ decays as a distinctive signature of $ν_μ-\bar{ν_μ}$ oscillations. We show that an intense neutrino beam through a long baseline experiment is favored for probing the Majorana phases. Using the neutrino-antineutrino oscillation probabi…
We investigate the role of R-parity violating interaction in the non-leptonic decays of B mesons into two light mesons B --> PP. The decay amplitudes are calculated using the QCD improved factorization method. Using the combined data on B decays from BaBar, Belle and CLEO, we obtain strong constraints on the various products of R-parity violating couplings. Many of these new constraints are stronger than the existing bounds.
One of the main motivations to look beyond the SM is the discrepancy between the theoretical prediction and observation of anomalous magnetic moment of muon. Alleviating this tension between theory and experiment and satisfying the bounds from lepton flavor violation data simultaneously is a challenging task. In this paper, we consider generalised Two Higgs Doublet Model, with a Yukawa structure as a perturbation of Type X Two Higgs Doublet Model. In view of this model, we explore muon anomaly and lepton flavor violation along with constraints coming from B-physics, theoretical constraints, el…
We interpret the newly observed muon g-2 anomaly in the framework of a leptonic Higgs doublet model with nearly degenerate neutrino masses and nearly bi-maximal neutrino mixing. Useful constraints are obtained on the rates of lepton-flavor-violating rare decays $τ\to μγ$, $μ\to e γ$ and $τ\to e γ$ as well as the $μ$-$e$ conversion ratio $R_{μe}$. We find that $Γ(μ\to e γ)$, $Γ(τ\to e γ)$ and $R_{μe}$ depend crucially on possible non-zero but samll values of the neutrino mixing matrix element $V_{e3}$, and they are also sensitive to the Dirac-type CP-violating phase. In particular, we show that…
The $μ^-e^-\to e^-e^-$ process in a muonic atom is one of the promising probes to study the charged lepton flavor violation (CLFV). We have investigated the angular distribution of electrons from the polarized muon of the atomic bound state. The parity violating asymmetric distribution of electrons is analyzed by using lepton wave functions under the Coulomb interaction of a finite nuclear charge distribution. It is found that the asymmetry parameters of electrons are very sensitive to the chiral structure of the CLFV interaction and the contact/photonic interaction. Therefore, together with t…
In supersymmetric models with R-parity violating interactions, sneutrinos may be produced as $s$-channel resonances at $μ^+ μ^-$ colliders. We demonstrate that, for R-parity violating couplings as low as $10^{-4}$, sneutrinos can be discovered and their couplings measured to high accuracy. The excellent beam energy resolution of muon colliders is found to be especially useful for studying such resonances in certain cases.

In this work the following lepton flavor violating $τ$ and $μ$ decays are studied: $τ^- \to μ^- μ^- μ^+$, $τ^- \to e^- e^- e^+$, $μ^- \to e^- e^- e^+$, $τ^- \to μ^- γ$, $τ^- \to e^- γ$ and $μ^- \to e^- γ$. We work in a constrained supersymmetric scenario with universal soft breaking terms and where the MSSM particle content is extended by the addition of three heavy right handed Majorana neutrinos and their supersymmetric partners. The generation of neutrino masses is done via the seesaw mechanism. We analize all these lepton flavor violating decays in terms of the relevant input parameters, w…
We study possible anomalous CP-violating Higgs couplings to mu mu-bar and t t-bar fully model-independent way through top-quark pair productions at muon colliders. Assuming additional non-standard neutral Higgs bosons, whose couplings with top-quark and muon are expressed in the most general covariant form, we carry out analyses of effects which they are expected to produce via CP-violating asymmetries and also the optimal-observable (OO) procedure under longitudinal and transverse muon polarizations. We find the measurement of the asymmetry for longitudinal beam polarization could be useful t…
$L_μ-L_τ$ gauge boson ($Z'$) with a mass in the MeV to GeV region can resolve not only the muon $g-2$ excess, but also the gap in the high-energy cosmic neutrino spectrum at IceCube. It was recently proposed that such a light gauge boson can be detected during the Belle II experiment with a luminosity of 50 ab$^{-1}$ by the $e^+ e^- \to γ+\slashed{E}$ process through the kinetic mixing with the photon, where the missing energy $\slashed{E}$ is from the $Z' \to \barνν$ decays. We study the phenomenological implications when a pair of singlet vector-like leptons carrying different $L_μ- L_τ$ cha…
The magnetic dipole moment (MDM) and the electric dipole moment (EDM) of leptons are calculated under the assumption of lepton flavor violation (LFV) induced by spin-1 unparticles with both vector and axial-vector couplings to leptons, including a CP-violating phase. The experimental limits on the muon MDM and LFV process such as the decay l_i->i_jl_kl_k are then used to constrain the LFV couplings for particular values of the unparticle operator dimension d_U and the unparticle scale Λ_U, assuming that LFV transitions between the tau and muon leptons are dominant. It is found that the current …
