Enhancing and essentially generalizing previous results on a class of (1+1)-dimensional nonlinear wave and elliptic equations, we apply several new techniques to classify admissible point transformations within this class up to the equivalence generated by its equivalence group. This gives an exhaustive description of its equivalence groupoid. After extending the algebraic method of group classification to non-normalized classes of differential equations, we solve the complete group classification problem for the class under study up to both usual and general point equivalences. The solution includes the complete preliminary group classification of the class and the construction of singular Lie-symmetry extensions, which are not related to subalgebras of the equivalence algebra. The complete preliminary group classification is based on classifying appropriate subalgebras of the entire infinite-dimensional equivalence algebra whose projections are qualified as maximal extensions of the kernel invariance algebra. The results obtained can be used to construct exact solutions of nonlinear wave and elliptic equations.

Algebraic integrability of the elliptic Calogero-Moser quantum problem related to the deformed root systems A_2(2) is proved. Explicit formulae for integrals are found.
In a previous paper, the general approach for treatment of algebraic equations of different order in gravity theory was exposed, based on the important distinction between covariant and contravariant metric tensor components. In the present second part of the paper it has been shown that a multivariable cubic algebraic equation can also be parametrized by means of complicated, irrational and non-elliptic functions, depending on the elliptic Weierstrass function and its derivative. As a model example, the proposed before cubic algebraic equation for reparametrization invariance of the gravitati…
The two parameter generalization of the complete elliptic integral of the second kind discussed recently by Barsan is expressed in terms of ordinary complete elliptic integrals.
A two-parameter generalization of the complete elliptic integral of second kind is expressed in terms of the Appell function $F_{4}$. This function is further reduced to a quite simple bilinear form in the complete elliptic integrals $K$ and $E$. The physical applications are briefly mentioned.
The third part of the present paper continues the investigation of the solution of the multivariable cubic algebraic equation for reparametrization invariance of the gravitational Lagrangian. The main result in this paper constitutes the fact that the earlier found parametrization functions of the cubic algebraic equation for reparametrization invariance of the gravitational Lagrangian can be considered also as uniformization functions. These functions are obtained as solutions of first - order nonlinear differential equations, as a result of which they depend only on the complex (uniformizati…
Two Lie algebraic forms of the 2-body Elliptic Calogero model are presented. Translation-invariant and dilatation-invariant discretizations of the model are obtained.
We study the tensor product of the {\it higher spin representations} (see the definition in Sect. 2.2) of the elliptic quantum group $E_{τ,η}(sl_n)$. The transfer matrices associated with the $E_{τ,η}(sl_n)$-module are exactly diagonalized by the nested Bethe ansatz method. Some special cases of the construction give the exact solution for the $Z_n$ Belavin model and for the elliptic $A_{n-1}$ Ruijsenaars-Schneider model.
We define the elliptic quantum group $E_{τ,η}(so_3)$ and the transfer matrix corresponding to its simplest highest weight representation. We use Bethe anstaz method to construct the creation operators as polynomials of the Lax matrix elements expressed through a recurrence relation. We give common eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the family of commuting transfer matrices.
A generalization of Jacobi's elliptic functions is introduced as inversions of hyperelliptic integrals. We discuss the special properties of these functions, present addition theorems and give a list of indefinite integrals. As a physical application we show that periodic kink solutions (kink chains) of the double sine-Gordon model can be described in a canonical form in terms of generalized Jacobi functions.
Based on the distinction between the covariant and contravariant metric tensor components in the framework of the affine geometry approach and also on the choice of the contravariant components, it was shown that a wide variety of third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh - degree algebraic equations exists in gravity theory. This fact, together with the derivation of the algebraic equations for a generally defined contravariant tensor components in this paper, are important in view of finding new solutions of the Einstein's equations, if they are treated as algebraic ones. Some important propertie…
We implement the Bethe anstaz method for the elliptic quantum group $E_{τ,η}(A_2^{(2)})$. The Bethe creation operators are constructed as polynomials of the Lax matrix elements expressed through a recurrence relation. We also give the eigenvalues of the family of commuting transfer matrices defined in the tensor product of fundamental representations.
Landen formulas, which connect Jacobi elliptic functions with different modulus parameters, were first obtained over two hundred years ago by making a suitable quadratic transformation of variables in elliptic integrals. We obtain and discuss significant generalizations of the celebrated Landen formulas. Our approach is based on some recently obtained periodic solutions of physically interesting nonlinear differential equations and numerous remarkable new cyclic identities involving Jacobi elliptic functions.
The potential of the $BC_1$ quantum elliptic model is a superposition of two Weierstrass functions with doubling of both periods (two coupling constants). The $BC_1$ elliptic model degenerates to $A_1$ elliptic model characterized by the Lamé Hamiltonian. It is shown that in the space of $BC_1$ elliptic invariant, the potential becomes a rational function, while the flat space metric becomes a polynomial. The model possesses the hidden $sl(2)$ algebra for arbitrary coupling constants: it is equivalent to $sl(2)$-quantum top in three different magnetic fields. It is shown that there exist three…
We consider solutions of the matrix KP hierarchy that are elliptic functions of the first hierarchical time $t_1=x$. It is known that poles $x_i$ and matrix residues at the poles $ρ_i^{αβ}=a_i^αb_i^β$ of such solutions as functions of the time $t_2$ move as particles of spin generalization of the elliptic Calogero-Moser model (elliptic Gibbons-Hermsen model). In this paper we establish the correspondence with the spin elliptic Calogero-Moser model for the whole matrix KP hierarchy. Namely, we show that the dynamics of poles and matrix residues of the solutions with respect to the $k$-th hierar…
It is shown that the (driven) quantum Rabi model and its 2-photon and 2-mode generalizations possess a hidden $sl(2)$-algebraic structure which explains the origin of the quasi-exact solvability of these models. It manifests the first appearance of a hidden algebraic structure in quantum spin-boson systems without $U(1)$ symmetry.
Supersymmetric gauge theories of certain class possess a large hidden nonperturbative symmetry described by the Ding-Iohara-Miki (DIM) algebra which can be used to compute their partition functions and correlators very efficiently. We lift the DIM-algebraic approach developed to study holomorphic blocks of 3d linear quiver gauge theories one dimension higher. We employ an algebraic construction in which the underlying trigonometric DIM algebra is elliptically deformed, and an alternative geometric approach motivated by topological string theory. We demonstrate the equivalence of these two meth…
Recently, an algebraic generalization of the Jordan-Wigner transformation was introduced and applied to one- and two-dimensional systems. This transformation is composed of the interactions $η_{i}$ that appear in the Hamiltonian ${\cal H}$ as ${\cal H}=\sum_{i=1}^{N}J_{i}η_{i}$, where $J_{i}$ are coupling constants. In this short note, it is derived that operators that are composed of $η_{i}$, or its $n$-state clock generalizations, generate the Onsager algebra, which was introduced in the original solution of the rectangular Ising model, and appears in some integrable models.
The classical Euler--Poinsot case of the rigid body dynamics admits a class of simple but non-trivial integrable generalizations, which modify the Poisson equations describing the motion of the body in space. These generalizations possess first integrals which are polynomial in the angular momenta. We consider the modified Poisson equations as a system of linear equations with elliptic coefficients and show that all the solutions of it are single-valued. By using the vector generalization of the Picard theorem, we derive the solutions explicitly in terms of sigma functions of the corresponding…
Recently the CHY approach has been extended to one loop level using elliptic functions and modular forms over a Jacobian variety. Due to the difficulty in manipulating these kind of functions, we propose an alternative prescription that is totally algebraic. This new proposal is based on an elliptic algebraic curve embedded in a $\mathbb{C}P^2$ space. We show that for the simplest integrand, namely the ${\rm n-gon}$, our proposal indeed reproduces the expected result. By using the recently formulated $Λ-$algorithm, we found a novel recurrence relation expansion in terms of tree level off-shell…
In this paper we define 2-vector bundles as suitable bundles of 2-vector spaces over a base space, and compare the resulting 2-K-theory with the algebraic K-theory spectrum K(V) of the 2-category of 2-vector spaces, as well as the algebraic K-theory spectrum K(ku) of the connective topological K-theory spectrum ku. We explain how K(ku) detects v_2-periodic phenomena in stable homotopy theory, and as such is a form of elliptic cohomology.
We describe integrable elliptic q-deformed anisotropic long-range spin chain. The derivation is based on our recent construction for commuting anisotropic elliptic spin Ruijsenaars-Macdonald operators. We prove that the Polychronakos freezing trick can be applied to these operators, thus providing the commuting set of Hamiltonians for long-range spin chain constructed by means of the elliptic Baxter-Belavin ${\rm GL}_M$ $R$-matrix. Namely, we show that the freezing trick is reduced to a set of elliptic function identities, which are then proved. These identities can be treated as conditions fo…
The aim of this paper is to show that there is a Hopf structure of the parabosonic and parafermionic algebras and this Hopf structure can generate the well known Hopf algebraic structure of the Lie algebras, through a realization of Lie algebras using the parabosonic (and parafermionic) extension of the Jordan Schwinger map. The differences between the Hopf algebraic and the graded Hopf superalgebraic structure on the parabosonic algebra are discussed.
The Gaudin models based on the face-type elliptic quantum groups and the $XYZ$ Gaudin models are studied. The Gaudin model Hamiltonians are constructed and are diagonalized by using the algebraic Bethe ansatz method. The corresponding face-type Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and their solutions are given.
The potential of the $A_2$ quantum elliptic model (3-body Calogero-Moser elliptic model) is defined by the pairwise three-body interaction through Weierstrass $\wp$-function and has a single coupling constant. A change of variables has been found, which are $A_2$ elliptic invariants, such that the potential becomes a rational function, while the flat space metric as well as its associated vector are polynomials in two variables. It is shown that the model possesses the hidden $sl(3)$ algebra - the Hamiltonian is an element of the universal enveloping algebra $U_{sl(3)}$ for arbitrary coupling …
