The lighter chargino, $\widetildeχ_1^{\pm}$, is a prime candidate to be the next-to-lightest SUSY particle (the NLSP). Several analyses of $\widetildeχ_1^{\pm}$ pair-production at the ILC, at specific model-points, have been performed, showing that detection and property-determination is possible, even for very difficult cases. However, no recent studies have evaluated the reach of the ILC to detect $\widetildeχ_1^{\pm}$ pair production in general. In this study, cross sections for $\widetildeχ_1^{\pm}$ pair production at the ILC were evaluated within a wide range of parameters. The aim was to determine the conditions for the lowest cross sections and compare these worst-case values with an estimation of the cross section limit for the observation of the lightest charginos at the ILC. The estimated limits were extrapolated from the studies performed at LEP, which can also be regarded as a worst-case scenario, since the tremendous advances in detector and accelerator technologies are disregarded
We present an extension of the Monte Carlo Event Generator Whizard which includes chargino production at the ILC at NLO. We present two ways of adding photonic contributions. We present results for cross sections and event generation.
We present an extension of the Monte Carlo Event Generator Whizard which includes chargino production at the ILC at NLO. We include photons using both a fixed order and a resummation approach. In the latter, leading higher order corrections are automatically included. We present results for cross sections and event generation for both methods.
We present an extension of the Monte Carlo Event Generator Whizard which includes chargino production at the ILC at NLO. We include photons using both a fixed order and a resummation approach. While the fixed order approach suffers from negative event weights, the resummation method solves this problem and automatically includes leading higher order corrections. We present results for cross sections and event generation for both methods and evaluate the systematic errors due to soft and collinear approximations. In the resummation approach, the residual uncertainty can be brought down to the p…
We present a Monte-Carlo event generator for simulating chargino pair-production at the International Linear Collider (ILC) at next-to-leading order in the electroweak couplings. By properly resumming photons in the soft and collinear regions, we avoid negative event weights, so the program can simulate physical (unweighted) event samples. Photons are explicitly generated throughout the range where they can be experimentally resolved. Inspecting the dependence on the cutoffs separating the soft and collinear regions, we evaluate the systematic errors due to soft and collinear approximations. I…
We review the influence of lepton flavour violation (LFV) on the production processes e+e- -> ~chi+_i ~chi-_j at the International Linear Collider (ILC) with longitudinal e+ and e- beam polarizations in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). The t-channel sneutrino exchange contribution to the processes e+e- -> ~chi+_i ~chi-_j is modified in the case of LFV, as the sneutrino mass eigenstates have no definite flavour, and therefore more than one sneutrino can contribute. This influence can alter the cross section sigma(e+e- -> ~chi+_1 ~chi-_1) by a factor of 2 or mor…
CP violation in the spin-spin correlations in chargino production and subsequent two-body decay into a tau and a tau-sneutrino is studied at the ILC. From the normal polarisation of the tau, an asymmetry is defined to test the CP-violating phase of the higgsino mass parameter μ. Asymmetries of more than \pm70% are obtained, also in scenarios with heavy first and second generation sfermions. Bounds on the statistical significances of the CP asymmetries are estimated. As a result, the normal tau polarisation in the chargino decay is one of the most sensitive probes to constrain or measure the ph…
We point out the production of the charginos and neutralinos in electron-electron process in several supersymmetric models, in order to show that the International Linear Collider can discover double charged charginos if these particles really exist in nature.
We discuss the potential of combined analyses at the Large Hadron Collider and the planned International Linear Collider to explore low-energy supersymmetry in a difficult region of the parameter space characterized by masses of the scalar SUSY particles around 2 TeV. Precision analyses of cross sections for light chargino production and forward--backward asymmetries of decay leptons and hadrons at the ILC, together with mass information on chi^0_2 and squarks from the LHC, allow us to determine the underlying fundamental gaugino/higgsino MSSM parameters and to constrain the masses of the heav…
Recently N. Arkani-Hamed and S. Dimopoulos proposed a supersymmetric model \cite{Arkani-Hamed:2004fb}, dubbed "Split Supersymmetry" in Ref. \cite{Giudice:2004tc}, which can remove most of the unpleasant shortcomings of TeV Supersymmetry. In this model all scalars except one finely tuned Higgs boson are ultra heavy while the neutralino and chargino might remain light in order to achieve gauge coupling unification and accord with the dark matter density. In this paper, we investigated the impact of this new model on chargino pair production at next generation linear colliders. Our numerical resu…
For the search for electroweak particles in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) as well as for future precision analyses of these particles an accurate knowledge of their production and decay properties is mandatory. We review the evaluation of the cross sections for the chargino, neutralino and scalar lepton production at e+e- colliders in the MSSM with complex parameters (cMSSM). The evaluation is based on a full one-loop calculation of the various production mechanisms, including soft and hard photon radiation. The dependence of the chargino/neutralino/slepton cross sections on…
We present a Monte-Carlo event generator for simulating chargino pair production at the ILC at next-to-leading order in the electroweak couplings. We consider two approaches of including photon radiation. A strict fixed-order approach allows for comparison and consistency checks with published semianalytic results in the literature. A version with soft- and hard-collinear resummation of photon radiation, which combines photon resummation with the inclusion of the NLO matrix element for the production process, avoids negative event weights, so the program can simulate physical (unweighted) even…
The proposed Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC), with a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 240$ GeV, will primarily serve as a Higgs factory. At the same time, it can offer good opportunities to search for new physics phenomena at low energy, which can be challenging to discover at hadron colliders, but well motivated by some theoretical models developed to explain, e.g., the relic abundance of dark matter. This paper presents sensitivity studies of chargino pair production, considering scenarios for both a Bino-like and a Higgsino-like neutralino as the lightest supersymmetric particle…
We analyse the production of charginos/neutralinos and sleptons at the hadron colliders Tevatron and LHC in the direct channels: $p\bar{p}/pp \to \tildeχ_i \tildeχ_j + X$ and $\tilde{\ell} \bar{\tilde{\ell}'} +X$. The cross sections for these reactions are given in next-to-leading order SUSY QCD. By including the higher-order corrections, the predictions become theoretically stable, being nearly independent of the factorization and renormalization scales. Since the corrections increase the cross sections, the discovery range for these particles is extended in the refined analysis.
In split supersymmetry, gauginos and Higgsinos are the only supersymmetric particles which are possibly accessible at foreseeable colliders. While the direct experimental searches, such as LEP and Tevatron experiments, gave robust lower bounds on the masses of these particles, the cosmic dark matter can give some upper bounds and thus have important implications for the searches at future colliders. In this work we scrutinize such dark matter constraints and show the allowed mass range for charginos and neutralinos (the mass eigenstates of gauginos and Higgsinos). We find that the lightest cha…
Precise measurements of electroweak processes at the International Linear Collider (ILC) will provide unique opportunities to explore new physics beyond the Standard Model. Fermion pair productions are sensitive to a new contact interaction or a new heavy gauge boson by comparing cross section and angular distribution with expectations of the new physics models. In this proceedings we report a simulation study of fermion pair productions at a center-of-mass energy of 250 GeV, with a focus on lepton pairs, to demonstrate the potential of the first phase of the ILC.
The differential cross section of the chargino-neutralino production, q qbar --> chi+- chi0, followed by their decays into scalar tau leptons, chi+- chi0 --> (stau+- nu)(stau-+ tau+-) --> (stau+- nu)(stau-+ l+- nu nubar), is calculated including the effect of spin correlations. In the case where stau is long-lived, this final state can be fully reconstructed in a hadron-collider experiment up to a discrete two-fold ambiguity. Distributions of various kinematic variables can thus be observable and tell us about masses and spins of superparticles and also parity/CP violation in interactions by c…
The International Linear Collider (ILC) has recently proven its technical maturity with the publication of a Technical Design Report, and there is a strong interest in Japan to host such a machine. We summarize key aspects of the Beyond the Standard Model physics case for the ILC in this contribution to the US High Energy Physics strategy process. On top of the strong guaranteed physics case in the detailed exploration of the recently discovered Higgs boson, the top quark and electroweak precision measurements, the ILC will offer unique opportunities which are complementary to the LHC program …
We investigate the effect induced by the Kaluza-Klein (KK) graviton in the $W^+W^-γ/Z$ production in the framework of the large extra dimensions (LED) model at both the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the International Linear Collider (ILC). The integrated cross sections and various kinematic distributions in the LED model are presented and compared with those in the standard model. The results show that the contributions from KK-graviton exchange remarkably affect the observables of the triple gauge boson ($W^+W^-γ/Z$) production processes at both the ILC and the LHC, particularly either…
We analyze the effects of the s-channel Higgs bosons exchange on the charginos and neutralinos-pair production in proton-proton collision at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the following channels: $pp \to \Cha^+\Cha^-/\Neu^0\Neu^0 + X$, within the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). Assuming the usual GUT relation between $M_1$ and $M_2$ at the weak scale, we found that substantial enhancement can be obtained through s-channel Higgs bosons exchange in the mixed regime where $M_2 \sim |μ|$ with moderate to large $\tanβ$ at the resonance of the heavy Higgs bosons. By Combining …
We make use of recently released parton density functions (PDFs) with threshold-resummation improvement to consistently calculate theoretical predictions for neutralino and chargino pair production at next-to-leading order and next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. The updated cross sections have been computed for experimentally relevant higgsino and gaugino search channels at the ongoing Run II of the LHC. A factorisation method is applied to exploit the smaller PDF uncertainty of the global PDF sets and to avoid complications arising in the refitting of threshold-resummation improved PDF repl…
The radion scalar field might be the lightest new particle predicted by extra-dimensional extensions of the Standard Model, thus possibly leading to the first signatures of new physics at the LHC. We perform a study of its production in association with a $Z$ boson in the custodially protected warped model with a brane-localised Higgs boson addressing the gauge hierarchy problem, with Higgs-radion mixing effects included. While the considered radion production at the LHC would constrain some parts of the parameter space, it is only the ILC program that will be able to cover a significant part …
In a class of new physics models, new physics sector is completely or partly hidden, namely, singlet under the Standard Model (SM) gauge group. Hidden fields included in such new physics models communicate with the Standard Model sector through higher dimensional operators. If a cutoff lies in the TeV range, such hidden fields can be produced at future colliders. We consider a scalar filed as an example of the hidden fields. Collider phenomenology on this hidden scalar is similar to that of the SM Higgs boson, but there are several features quite different from those of the Higgs boson. We inv…
We examine for representative gaugino-higgsino mixing scenarios sneutrino-neutralino and sneutrino-chargino production in deep inelastic ep-scattering at the cm-energy of 1.8 TeV. The cross sections for sneutrino-chargino production are more than one order of magnitude bigger than those for sneutrino-squark production. Also for zino-like neutralinos we find cross sections at least comparable to those for sneutrino-squark production.
The goal of this article is to derive the Feynman rules involving charginos, neutralinos, double charged gauge bosons and sleptons in a 3-3-1 supersymmetric model. Using these Feynman rules we will calculate the production of a double charged chargino with a neutralino and also the production of a pair of single charged charginos, both in an electron- electron $e^-e^-$ process.
One CP--odd rephase-invariant phase appears in the chargino mass matrix in the minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We investigate in detail the phenomenological impacts of the CP-odd complex phase in the production of light charginos in $e^+e^-$ annihilation. The values of the chargino masses and the mixing angles, determining the size of the wino and higgsino components in the chargino wave functions, are so sensitive to the CP-odd phase that the constraints on the supersymmetric parameters based on the conventional assumptions for the parameters are recommended to be re-evaluated includin…
The associated production of squarks and charginos in high energy collisions of the polarized real photons and protons is discussed. We give the cross sections for different initial beam polarizations and the polarization asymmetries which can be used to anticipate the masses of squarks and charginos.
In the current work, We investigated the production of neutral Higgs boson and two charged Charginos owing to electron-positron annihilation via different propagators
For points in SUSY parameter space where the sneutrino is lighter than the lightest chargino and next-to-lightest neutralino, its direct mass determination from sneutrino pair production process at e+e- collider is impossible since it decays invisibly. In such a scenario the sneutrino can be discovered and its mass determined from measurements of two-body decays of charginos produced in pairs at the ILC. Using the event generator WHIZARD we study the prospects of measuring sneutrino properties in a realistic ILC environment. In our analysis we include beamstrahlung, initial state radiation, a …
We examine single chargino production in conjunction with R-parity lepton number violation in future lepton-lepton collisions. Present bounds on R-parity violating couplings allow for a production cross section of the order of ${\cal{O}} (10 {fb})$ for a wide range of sneutrino and chargino masses. Scenarios of chargino decay which lead to purely leptonic signals in the final state and without missing energy are also discussed.
We examine for representative gaugino-higgsino mixing scenarios slepton-neutralino and slepton-chargino production in deep inelastic ep-scattering at $\sqrt{s}=1.8$ TeV. We find sneutrino-chargino production to be the dominant process with cross sections more than one order of magnitude bigger than those for slepton-squark production. Also for associated production of sneutrinos and zino-like neutralinos the cross sections are at least comparable to those for $\tilde l \tilde q$-production, whereas selectron-neutralino/chargino production is with cross sections significantly smaller than those…
We show that radiative corrections to chargino production in electron-positron annihilation with polarized beams can be large especially in the case of right handed electrons. In addition, there is some dependency on the squark masses that allows us to extract information about the squark spectrum from the chargino production.
The chargino pair production in $e^-e^-$ collisions with their subsequent decays are considered within SUSY models with R-parity violation and with lepton number non-conservation. The production process ($\sqrt{s}=1$ TeV) is predicted to be large in a wide range of both sneutrino and chargino masses. The influence of all virtual sneutrino states and their mixings with electrons are taken into account. Some specific situations are pointed out when significant suppressions of the cross section can take place. The chargino decays are discussed for either the chargino as LSP or the chargino as hea…
We use the quantum corrected chargino production cross section, including information on the beam polarization and chargino helicities, to estimate the precision achievable at a 1 TeV, 500 ${\mathrm fb}^{-1}$ Linear Collider on the determination of fundamental supersymmetric parameters from measurements of light chargino mass and production cross sections. We show that to get meaningful results higher order corrections should be included.
We study the pair production of charginos in e+e- collisions followed by the decay via R-parity violating LQD operators. We determine the complete matrix element squared for chargino decays via LQD or LLE operators. We find regions in MSSM parameter space where the chargino mass is 52.5GeV and the R-parity violating decays of the charginos dominate the gauge decays to neutralinos. At LEP2 this then leads to additional 4 jet events which could explain the excess recently observed by ALEPH.
A procedure to determine the chargino mixing angles and, subsequently, the fundamental SUSY parameters M2, mu and tan(beta) by measurements of the total cross section and the spin correlations in e+e- annihilation to chi1^+ chi1^- chargino pairs is discussed.
In the framework of a particular supergravity model which provides a natural solution to the $μ$--problem we show how the discovery of a chargino at LEP2 and the measurement of its mass and production cross--section, together with the measurement of the mass of the lightest neutralino, would determine the entire Higgs and SUSY spectrum. We give detailed predictions for the Higgs and SUSY spectrum as a function of the chargino production cross--section, for constant values of the lightest chargino and gluino masses.
We present the analysis of CP-violating effects in non-diagonal chargino pair production in e+e- collisions. These effects appear only at the one-loop level. We show that CP-odd asymmetries in chargino production are sensitive to the phases of mu and A_t parameters and can be of the order of a few %.
We study CP odd asymmetries in chargino production E+ E- --> ~Chi(+-)(1) Chi(-+)(2) and the subsequent two-body decay of one chargino into a sneutrino. We show that in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameter μthe asymmetries can reach 30 %. We discuss the feasibility of measuring these asymmetries at a linear collider with \sqrt{s} = 800 GeV and longitudinally polarized beams.
The event characteristics of chargino pair production at e+e- collisions are explored to determine gaugino-higgsino mixing angles. We demonstrate that by measuring total cross sections and left-right asymmetries with polarized beams or angular correlations among chargino decay products the fundamental SUSY parameters M_2, μand tan(beta) can be uniquely determined in a model independent way.
$T$--violating asymmetry in chargino pair production processes is studied in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. The asymmetry emerges at the tree level in the production of two different charginos, and could be as large as of order $10^{-2}$ in unpolarized electron beam experiments and $10^{-1}$ in polarized electron beam experiments. In the pair production of the same charginos, the asymmetry emerges through the electric and the weak "electric" dipole moments of the charginos at the loop level. Its magnitude is of order $10^{-4}$. The consistency with the electric dipole moments of the…
We compute the rates for pp annihilation into chargino-pairs via Drell-Yan process taking into account the effects of supersymmetric soft phases, at proton-proton collider. In particular, the phase of the mu parameter gains direct accessibility via the production of dissimilar charginos. The phases of the trilinear soft masses do not have a significant effect on the cross sections.
In the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM), the unique $λS H_u H_d$ in the superpotential gives rise to a coupling involving the lighter pseudoscalar Higgs boson and a pair of charged or neutral Higgsinos, even in the limit of zero mixing between the two pseudoscalar Higgs bosons. We study the associated production of a very light pseudoscalar Higgs boson with a pair of charginos. The novel signature involves a pair of charged leptons from chargino decays and a pair of photons from the pseudoscalar Higgs boson decay, plus large missing energy at the LHC and ILC. The signal ma…
Previously, in the context of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (without {\em a priori} assumptions of parameter unification), we studied the constraints on weak-scale SUSY parameters from chargino production at LEP II, using as observables $\mch$, $\mLSP$, the cross section and the leptonic branching fraction. Here, exploiting the high degree of polarization in chargino production, we add to our earlier work the forward-backward asymmetries of the visible hadrons and leptons in chargino decays. For a chargino that is mostly gaugino, the parameter space can now be restricted to a small…
Recently Osland and Vereshagin noticed, based on sample calculations of some box diagrams, that in unpolarised e+e- collisions CP-odd effects in the non-diagonal chargino-pair production process are generated at one-loop. Here we perform a full one-loop analysis of these effects and point out that in some cases the neglected vertex and self-energy contributions may play a dominant role. We also show that CP asymmetries in chargino production are sensitive not only to the phase of mu parameter in the chargino sector but also to the phase of stop trilinear coupling A_t.
Charginos $χ_1^\pm$ are expected to be the lightest observable supersymmetric particles in many supersymmetric models. We present a procedure which will allow to determine the chargino mixing angles and, subsequently, the fundamental SUSY parameters $M_2, μ$ and $\tanβ$ by measurements of the total cross section and the spin correlations in $e^+e^-$ annihilation to $χ_1^+ χ_1^-$ chargino pairs.
We study chargino pair production on the heavy Higgs resonances at a muon collider in the MSSM. At $\sqrt{s} \approx 350$ GeV cross sections up to 2 pb are reached depending on the supersymmetric scenario and the beam energy spread. The resonances of the scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons may be separated for $\tanβ<8$. Our aim is to determine the ratio of the chargino couplings to the heavy scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs boson independently of the specific chargino decay characteristics. The precision of the measurement depends on the energy resolution of the muon collider and on the error i…
We consider NLO chargino production and decays at the ILC. For this, we present an NLO extension of the Monte Carlo Event Generator Whizard including the NLO production. For photonic corrections, we use both a fixed order and a resummation approach. The latter method evades the problem of negative event weights and automatically includes leading higher order corrections. We present results for cross sections and event generation for both methods. As a first step towards a full NLO Monte Carlo, we consider a LO implementation of the chargino production and subsequent leptonic decay and investig…
In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), we study the light Higgs-boson radiation off a light-chargino pair in the process e+e- -> h chi^+ chi^- at linear colliders with \sqs=500 GeV. We analyze cross sections in the regions of the MSSM parameter space where the process can not proceed via on-shell production and subsequent decay of either heavier charginos or the pseudoscalar Higgs boson A. Cross sections up to a few fb's are allowed, according to present experimental limits on the Higgs-boson, chargino and sneutrino masses. We also show how a measurement of the process production…
We study single superparticle productions at the linear collider, putting particular emphasis on resonant processes. We find that there exists a wide region of model parameters where single chargino and neutralino productions dominate over R-violating fermion-antifermion final states. For certain values of mu and M_2 it is possible to produce even the heavier charginos and neutralinos at significant rates, amplifying the total cross section and obtaining interesting chains of cascade decays. Effects from initial-state radiation are also included.
If in a supersymmetric model, the lightest chargino is nearly degenerate with the lightest neutralino, the former can decay into the latter alongwith a soft pion (or a lepton-neutrino pair). Near degeneracy of the chargino and neutralino masses can cause the other decay products (the pion or the lepton) to be almost invisible. Photon-photon colliders offer a possibility of clean detection of such an event through a hard photon tag.
We study CP sensitive observables in chargino production in electron-positron collisions with subsequent two-body decay of one chargino into a W boson. We identify the CP odd elements of the W boson density matrix and propose CP sensitive triple-product asymmetries of the chargino decay products. We calculate the density-matrix elements, the CP asymmetries and the cross sections in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters μand M_1 for an e+ e- linear collider with \sqrt{s} = 800 GeV and longitudinally polarized beams. The asymmetries can reach 7% and we discuss the fea…
We study the production and leptonic decay of charginos in collisions of polarized photon beams including the complete spin correlations. The photons can be generated by Compton backscattering of polarized laser pulses off a polarized electron beam. Since the production process is determined alone by the electromagnetic coupling of the charginos this process allows to study their decay dynamics. The cross section and the forward-backward asymmetry of the decay lepton are very sensitive to the gaugino mass parameter $M_1$ and to the sneutrino mass without any ambiguities.
We study the single chargino production $e^+ e^- \to \tilde χ^{\pm} μ^{\mp}$ at linear colliders which occurs through the $ł_{121}$ R-parity violating coupling constant. We focus on the final state containing 4 leptons and some missing energy. The largest background is \susyq and can be reduced using the initial beam polarization and some cuts based on the specific kinematics of the single chargino production. Assuming the highest allowed supersymmetric background, a center of mass energy of $\sqrt s=500GeV$ and a luminosity of ${\cal L}=500fb^{-1}$, the sensitivities on the $ł_{121}$ coupling…
We study the CP-violating terms of the spin-spin correlations in chargino production e+e- -> chi^+/-_1 chi^-/+_2, and their subsequent two-body decays into sneutrinos plus leptons. We propose novel CP-sensitive observables with the help of T-odd products of the spin-spin terms. These terms depend on the polarizations of both charginos, with one polarization perpendicular to the production plane. We identify two classes of CP-sensitive observables; one requires the reconstruction of the production plane, the other not. Our framework is the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex para…
Bounds on cross section measurements of chargino pair production at LEP yield a bound on the chargino mass. If the GUT relation is assumed, the lightest neutralino must be heavier than $\approx 45 -50\GeV$. If no GUT relation is assumed, no lower bound on the neutralino mass exists. I derive mass bounds on the lightest neutralino from relic density measurements for relativistic and non-relativistic neutralinos and I derive bounds on the selectron mass from the observed limits on the cross section of the neutralino pair production process $e^+e^-\to \x{1}\x{2}$ at LEP, if the lightest neutralin…
We study the production of charginos e^+ e^- -> chi^+_i chi^-_j, (i,j=1,2) with polarized beams and the subsequent decays chi^+_i -> chi^0_k ell^+ nu and chi^-_j -> chi^0_l ell^- nu, (k,l=1,...,4), including the complete spin correlations between production and decay. Analytical formulae are presented for the joint spin-density matrix of the charginos, for the chargino decay matrix and for the differential cross section of the combined processes of production and decays. We present numerical results for pair production of the lighter chargino with unpolarized beams and the leptonic decay of ch…
We study chargino production e^+ e^- -> chi^+_1 chi^-_1 and the subsequent leptonic decay chi^-_1\to chi^0_1 e^- nu_e including the complete spin correlations between production and decay. We work out the advantages of polarizing the e^+ and e^- beams. We study in detail the polarized cross sections, the angular distribution and the forward--backward asymmetry of the decay electron. They can be used to determine the sneutrino mass m_{\tildeν_e}.
We report on the effect that one-loop radiative corrections to the chargino pair production cross section has on the determination of the fundamental parameters of the theory. We work in the context of electron-positron colliders with sqrt(s)=500 GeV. We conclude that the inclusion of these corrections is crucial in precision measurements, specially at large and small values of tan(beta).
We consider the process of associated stop-chargino production in the MSSM at LHC and show that, at the simplest Born level, the production rate is dramatically sensitive to the choice of the benchmark points, oscillating from potentially "visible" maxima of the picobarn size to much smaller, hardly "visible", values. Adopting a canonical choice of SM type CKM matrices, we also show that in some "visible" cases the total rate exhibits a possibly relevant dependence on tan(beta).
We calculate the radiative corrections to helicity amplitudes for chargino production in electron-positron collisions. We include all weak self-energy, triangle, and box diagrams, and find that the three are important and should be included. We present results in the form of differential cross-sections for four supersymmetry benchmark models, and find usually large corrections and in some cases huge corrections. We conclude that in order to extract the underlying parameters of the chargino sector from collider data taken at a future Linear Collider, a complete theoretical one--loop production …
