We study the CP-violating terms of the spin-spin correlations in chargino production e+e- -> chi^+/-_1 chi^-/+_2, and their subsequent two-body decays into sneutrinos plus leptons. We propose novel CP-sensitive observables with the help of T-odd products of the spin-spin terms. These terms depend on the polarizations of both charginos, with one polarization perpendicular to the production plane. We identify two classes of CP-sensitive observables; one requires the reconstruction of the production plane, the other not. Our framework is the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters.
We examine for representative gaugino-higgsino mixing scenarios sneutrino-neutralino and sneutrino-chargino production in deep inelastic ep-scattering at the cm-energy of 1.8 TeV. The cross sections for sneutrino-chargino production are more than one order of magnitude bigger than those for sneutrino-squark production. Also for zino-like neutralinos we find cross sections at least comparable to those for sneutrino-squark production.
The goal of this article is to derive the Feynman rules involving charginos, neutralinos, double charged gauge bosons and sleptons in a 3-3-1 supersymmetric model. Using these Feynman rules we will calculate the production of a double charged chargino with a neutralino and also the production of a pair of single charged charginos, both in an electron- electron $e^-e^-$ process.
One CP--odd rephase-invariant phase appears in the chargino mass matrix in the minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We investigate in detail the phenomenological impacts of the CP-odd complex phase in the production of light charginos in $e^+e^-$ annihilation. The associated production of squarks and charginos in high energy collisions of the polarized real photons and protons is discussed. We give the cross sections for different initial beam polarizations and the polarization asymmetries which can be used to anticipate the masses of squarks and charginos.

We examine single chargino production in conjunction with R-parity lepton number violation in future lepton-lepton collisions. Present bounds on R-parity violating couplings allow for a production cross section of the order of ${\cal{O}} (10 {fb})$ for a wide range of sneutrino and chargino masses. We show that radiative corrections to chargino production in electron-positron annihilation with polarized beams can be large especially in the case of right handed electrons. In addition, there is some dependency on the squark masses that allows us to extract information about the squark spectrum from the chargino production.
The chargino pair production in $e^-e^-$ collisions with their subsequent decays are considered within SUSY models with R-parity violation and with lepton number non-conservation. We use the quantum corrected chargino production cross section, including information on the beam polarization and chargino helicities, to estimate the precision achievable at a 1 TeV, 500 ${\mathrm fb}^{-1}$ Linear Collider on the determination of fundamental supersymmetric parameters from measurements of light chargino mass and production cross sections. We show that to get meaningful results higher order corrections should be included.

We identify the CP odd elements of the W boson density matrix and propose CP sensitive triple-product asymmetries of the chargino decay products. We study the pair production of charginos in e+e- collisions followed by the decay via R-parity violating LQD operators. We determine the complete matrix element squared for chargino decays via LQD or LLE operators. We find regions in MSSM parameter space where the chargino mass is 52.5GeV and the R-parity violating decays of the charginos dominate the gauge decays to neutralinos. At LEP2 this then leads to additional 4 jet events which could explain the excess recently observed by ALEPH.
A procedure to determine the chargino mixing angles and, subsequently, the fundamental SUSY parameters M2, mu and tan(beta) by measurements of the total cross section and the spin correlations in e+e- annihilation to chi1^+ chi1^- chargino pairs is discussed.
In the framework of a particular supergravity model which provides a natural solution to the $μ$--problem we show how the discovery of a chargino at LEP2 and the measurement of its mass and production cross--section, together with the measurement of the mass of the lightest neutralino, would determine the entire Higgs and SUSY spectrum. We give detailed predictions for the Higgs and SUSY spectrum as a function of the chargino production cross--section, for constant values of the lightest chargino and gluino masses.
We present the analysis of CP-violating effects in non-diagonal chargino pair production in e+e- collisions. These effects appear only at the one-loop level. We show that CP-odd asymmetries in chargino production are sensitive to the phases of mu and A_t parameters and can be of the order of a few %.
I report on two papers, hep-ph/9806279 and hep-ph/9807336, where complementary strategies are proposed for the determination of the chargino/neutralino sector parameters, $M_1, M_2, μ$ and $\tan β$, from the knowledge of some physical observables. This determination and the occurrence of possible ambiguities are studied as far as possible analytically within the context of the unconstrained MSSM, assuming however no CP-violation.

The event characteristics of chargino pair production at e+e- collisions are explored to determine gaugino-higgsino mixing angles. $T$--violating asymmetry in chargino pair production processes is studied in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. The asymmetry emerges at the tree level in the production of two different charginos,and could be as large as of order $10^{-2}$ in unpolarized electron beam experiments and $10^{-1}$ in polarized electron beam experiments. We compute the rates for pp annihilation into chargino-pairs via Drell-Yan process taking into account the effects of supersymmetric soft phases, at proton-proton collider. In particular, the phase of the mu parameter gains direct accessibility via the production of dissimilar charginos. The phases of the trilinear soft masses do not have a significant effect on the cross sections.
Previously, in the context of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (without {\em a priori} assumptions of parameter unification), we studied the constraints on weak-scale SUSY parameters from chargino production at LEP II, using as observables $\mch$, $\mLSP$, the cross section and the leptonic branching fraction. Recently Osland and Vereshagin noticed, based on sample calculations of some box diagrams, that in unpolarised e+e- collisions CP-odd effects in the non-diagonal chargino-pair production process are generated at one-loop. Here we perform a full one-loop analysis of these effects and point out that in some cases the neglected vertex and self-energy contributions may play a dominant role. We also show that CP asymmetries in chargino production are sensitive not only to the phase of mu parameter in the chargino sector but also to the phase of stop trilinear coupling A_t.

We study chargino pair production on the heavy Higgs resonances at a muon collider in the MSSM. At $\sqrt{s} \approx 350$ GeV cross sections up to 2 pb are reached depending on the supersymmetric scenario and the beam energy spread. In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), we study the light Higgs-boson radiation off a light-chargino pair in the process e+e- -> h chi^+ chi^- at linear colliders with \sqs=500 GeV. We analyze cross sections in the regions of the MSSM parameter space where the process can not proceed via on-shell production and subsequent decay of either heavier charginos or the pseudoscalar Higgs boson A. We study single superparticle productions at the linear collider, putting particular emphasis on resonant processes. We find that there exists a wide region of model parameters where single chargino and neutralino productions dominate over R-violating fermion-antifermion final states. For certain values of mu and M_2 it is possible to produce even the heavier charginos and neutralinos at significant rates, amplifying the total cross section and obtaining interesting chains of cascade decays. Effects from initial-state radiation are also included.
If in a supersymmetric model, the lightest chargino is nearly degenerate with the lightest neutralino, the former can decay into the latter alongwith a soft pion (or a lepton-neutrino pair). Near degeneracy of the chargino and neutralino masses can cause the other decay products (the pion or the lepton) to be almost invisible. Photon-photon colliders offer a possibility of clean detection of such an event through a hard photon tag.

We study the production and leptonic decay of charginos in collisions of polarized photon beams including the complete spin correlations. The photons can be generated by Compton backscattering of polarized laser pulses off a polarized electron beam. Since the production process is determined alone by the electromagnetic coupling of the charginos this process allows to study their decay dynamics. The cross section and the forward-backward asymmetry of the decay lepton are very sensitive to the gaugino mass parameter $M_1$ and to the sneutrino mass without any ambiguities.
We study the single chargino production $e^+ e^- \to \tilde χ^{\pm} μ^{\mp}$ at linear colliders which occurs through the $ł_{121}$ R-parity violating coupling constant. We focus on the final state containing 4 leptons and some missing energy. We discuss CP violation in the process e^+e^- \to \tildeχ^+_i\tildeχ^-_j with unpolarized beams. When the scalars are heavy, the box-diagram results constitute a major part of the full result. However, there are situations when the vertex and self-energy corrections dominate over the box diagrams. We also comment on CP violation in the final chargino decay.
We study chargino production e^+ e^- -> chi^+_1 chi^-_1 and the subsequent leptonic decay chi^-_1\to chi^0_1 e^- nu_e including the complete spin correlations between production and decay. We work out the advantages of polarizing the e^+ and e^- beams. We study in detail the polarized cross sections, the angular distribution and the forward--backward asymmetry of the decay electron. We report on the effect that one-loop radiative corrections to the chargino pair production cross section has on the determination of the fundamental parameters of the theory. We work in the context of electron-positron colliders with sqrt(s)=500 GeV. We conclude that the inclusion of these corrections is crucial in precision measurements, specially at large and small values of tan(beta).
We consider the process of associated stop-chargino production in the MSSM at LHC and show that, at the simplest Born level, the production rate is dramatically sensitive to the choice of the benchmark points, oscillating from potentially "visible" maxima of the picobarn size to much smaller, hardly "visible", values. Adopting a canonical choice of SM type CKM matrices, we also show that in some "visible" cases the total rate exhibits a possibly relevant dependence on tan(beta).
We calculate the radiative corrections to helicity amplitudes for chargino production in electron-positron collisions. We include all weak self-energy, triangle, and box diagrams, and find that the three are important and should be included. We present results in the form of differential cross-sections for four supersymmetry benchmark models, and find usually large corrections and in some cases huge corrections. The production of the lightest chargino pair from gluon-gluon fusion is studied in the minimal supersymmetric model(MSSM) at proton-proton colliders. We find that with the chosen parameters, the production rate of the subprocess can be over 2.7 femto barn when the chargino is higgsino-like, and the corresponding total cross section in proton-proton collider can reach 56 femto barn at the LHC in the CP-conserving MSSM. We analyze the prospects at a muon collider for measuring chargino masses in the $μ^+μ^-\to \tildeχ^+\tildeχ^-$ processes in the threshold region. We find that a measurement of the lightest chargino mass to better than 200 MeV is possible with 100~fb$^{-1}$ luminosity. The muon sneutrino mass can also be simultaneously measured to a few GeV.
The results of a complete one-loop calculation for the production of chargino pairs in electron-positron collisions, including the option of polarized beams, are presented. The calculation has been performed in the on-shell renormalization scheme. Applications to the integrated cross section, to the forward-backward asymmetry for unpolarized beams, and to the left-right asymmetry show that the higher-order effects have a sizeable influence on the theoretical predictions and therefore should be properly taken into account for detailed studies in the MSSM.
We calculate the complete one-loop quantum corrections to the helicity eigenstate chargino pair production cross sections in polarized electron positron collisions, within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We calculate the non-QED corrections using the helicity amplitudes formalism, and Dimensional Regularization to deal with ultraviolet divergences. We present the detailed analytical and numerical investigations of the one-loop radiative corrections of all quarks and squarks in the MSSM to the lightest chargino pair production via $γγ$ fusion at the future NLC. The numerical corrections show that the cross sections of the subprocess and the parent process are typically enhanced by several percent. We studied also the effects induced by the CP violating complex phases stemming from squark and chargino mass matrices in the MSSM at one-loop level.
We calculate chargino production at a future linear collider, including full one-loop contributions in the MSSM with complex parameters. To achieve this, we require a comprehensive approach to renormalisation in the chargino and neutralino sector, for the case where parameters can be complex. Using the field renormalisation as developed in Refs. [1-3], we investigate the parameter renormalisation in the complex case. Charginos are expected to be the lightest observable supersymmetric particles in many of the supersymmetric models. In the scenario that lighter charginios are pair-produced at CERN LEP II, we present a straightforward procedure for determining the SUSY parameters, $\tanβ$, $M_2$, $μ$, and the electron sneutrino mass $m_{\tildeν}$ up to a four-fold discrete ambiguity, although a large number of unknown SUSY parameters are involved in chargino decays.
We studied the production of single chargino$\tildeχ_1^{\pm}$ accompanied by $μ^{\mp}$ lepton via gluon-gluon fusion at the LHC. The numerical analysis of their production rates is carried out in the mSUGRA scenario with some typical parameter sets. The results show that the cross sections of the $\tildeχ_1^{\pm}μ^{\mp}$ productions via gluon-gluon collision are in the order of $1 \sim 10^{2}$ femto barn quantitatively at the CERN LHC, and can be competitive with production mechanism via quark-antiquark annihilation process.
We consider the production of neutralino, chargino, and charged Higgs boson pairs in the MSSM framework at future $e^+e^-$ colliders. We show that, for c.m. energies in the one TeV range and in a ``moderately'' light SUSY scenario, a combined analysis of the slopes of these production cross sections could lead to a strong consistency test involving the soft supersymmetric breaking parameters $M_1$, $M_2$, the Higgsino parameter $μ$, and $\tanβ$.

We study chargino pair production at LEP II in supersymmetric models with spontaneously broken R-parity. We perform signal and background analyses, showing that a large region of the parameter space of these models can be probed through chargino searches at LEP II. In the scenario recently proposed by Arkani-Hamed and Dimopoulos, the supersymmetric scalar particles are all very heavy, at least of the order of $10^9$ GeV but the gauginos, higgsino, and one of the CP-even neutral Higgs bosons remain light under a TeV. The process of stop-chargino production at LHC has been calculated in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at the complete electroweak one-loop level, assuming a mSUGRA symmetry breaking scheme. Several properties of the angular and invariant mass distributions of the basic bottom-gluon to stop-chargino amplitudes have been derived. For a meaningful collection of different benchmark points the overall electroweak one-loop effects are at most of the order of a few percent. One-loop radiative corrections to the production cross section of a pair of light charginos in e+e- colliders are calculated within the MSSM. Top and bottom quarks and squarks are considered in the loops, and they are renormalized using the MS-bar scheme. If the center of mass energy is equal to 192 GeV, positive corrections typically of 10% to 15% are found when the squark mass parameters are equal to 1 TeV.
We discuss the production of charginos, neutralinos, and third generation sfermions in $e^+e^-$ annihilation in the energy range $\sqrt{s} = 0.2-1$ TeV.
