It has been shown that the data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) does not rule out a chiral sequential fourth generation of fermions that obtain their masses through an identical mechanism as the other three generations do. However, this is possible only if the scalar sector of the Standard Model is suitably enhanced, like embedding it in a type-II two-Higgs doublet model. In this article, we try to show that double Higgs production (DHP) can unveil the existence of such a hidden fourth generation in a very efficient way. While the DHP cross-section in the SM is quite small, it is significantly enhanced with a fourth generation. We perform a detailed analysis of the dependence of the DHP cross-section on the model parameters, and show that either a positive signal of DHP is seen in the early next run of the LHC, or the model is ruled out.
We discuss scenarios with wrong-sign (WS) Yukawa couplings for the discovered Higgs boson in the Yukawa-aligned two Higgs doublet model. In the WS scenario, Yukawa couplings for down-type quarks and/or charged leptons have an opposite sign as compared to those of the Higgs boson in the standard model, which can be consistent with current flavour data and the Higgs signal strengths. The phenomenology of additional Higgs bosons in such a scenario can be significantly different from that with right-sign Yukawa couplings, mainly due to a larger Higgs boson mixing to be required in the wrong-sign c…
We show that both flavor-conserving and flavor-violating Yukawa couplings of the Higgs boson to first- and second-generation quarks can be probed by measuring rare decays of the form h->MV, where M denotes a vector meson and V indicates either gamma, W or Z. We calculate the branching ratios for these processes in both the Standard Model and its possible extensions. We discuss the experimental prospects for their observation. The possibility of accessing these Higgs couplings appears to be unique to the high-luminosity LHC and future hadron colliders, providing further motivation for those mac…
We consider two Higgs doublet models with a softly broken U(1) symmetry, for various limiting values of the scalar mixing angles $α$ and $β$. These correspond to the Standard Model Higgs particle being the lighter CP-even scalar (alignment) or the heavier CP-even scalar (reverse alignment), and also the limit in which some of the Yukawa couplings of this particle are of the opposite sign from the vector boson couplings (wrong sign). In these limits we impose a criterion for naturalness by demanding that quadratic divergences cancel at one loop. We plot the allowed masses of the remaining physi…
In the framework of 2HDM, we explore the wrong-sign Yukawa region with direct and indirect searches up to one-loop level. The direct searches include the latest $H/A \to f\bar f, VV, Vh, hh$ reports at current LHC, and the study of indirect Higgs precision measurements works with current LHC, future HL-LHC and CEPC. At tree level of Type-II 2HDM, for degenerate heavy Higgs mass $m_A=m_H=m_{H^\pm}<800$ GeV, the wrong-sign Yukawa regions are excluded largely except for the tiny allowed region around $\cos(β-α)\in(0.2,0.3)$ under the combined constraints. The excluded region is also nearly indepe…
We consider the two-Higgs-doublet model as a framework in which to evaluate the viability of scenarios in which the sign of the coupling of the observed Higgs boson to down-type fermions (in particular, $b$-quark pairs) is opposite to that of the Standard Model (SM), while at the same time all other tree-level couplings are close to the SM values. We show that, whereas such a scenario is consistent with current LHC observations, both future running at the LHC and a future $e^+ e^-$ linear collider could determine the sign of the Higgs coupling to $b$-quark pairs. Discrimination is possible for…
To explain the observed muon anomaly and simultaneously evade bounds from lepton flavor violation in the same model parameter space is a long cherished dream. In view of a generalized Two Higgs Doublet Model, with a Yukawa structure as a perturbation of Type-X, we are able to get substantial parameter space satisfying this criteria. We are focusing on a region with "{\bf wrong-sign}" lepton-Yukawa coupling which gives rise to an interesting phenomenological consequences. We found that in the "wrong-sign" region, it is possible to probe the low-mass pseudoscalar in flavor-violating decay mode w…
We suggest that the exclusive Higgs + light (or b)-jet production at the LHC, $pp \to h+j(j_b)$, is a rather sensitive probe of the light-quarks Yukawa couplings and of other forms of new physics (NP) in the Higgs-gluon $hgg$ and quark-gluon $qqg$ interactions. We study the Higgs $p_T$-distribution in $pp \to h+j(j_b) \to γγ+ j(j_b)$, i.e., in $h+j(j_b)$ production followed by the Higgs decay $h \to γγ$, employing the ($p_T$-dependent) signal strength formalism to probe various types of NP which are relevant to these processes and which we parameterize either as scaled Standard Model (SM) coup…
The study of the Higgs boson properties is one of the most relevant activities in current particle physics. In particular, the Higgs boson couplings to third generation fermions is an important test of the mechanism of mass generation. In spite of their impact on the production and decay properties of the Higgs boson, the values of these couplings are still uncertain and, in models of new physics, they can differ in magnitude as well as in sign with respect to the Standard Model case. In this article, we study the possibility of a wrong sign bottom-quark Yukawa coupling within the framework of…
In the framework of type-II two-Higgs-doublet model with a scalar dark matter ($S$), we examine the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of the 125 GeV Higgs which is the only portal between the dark matter and SM sectors. After imposing the constraints from the Higgs searches at the LHC and dark matter experiments, we obtain some interesting observables: (i) The theory, oblique parameters, and the Higgs searches at the LHC can impose stringent constraints on $\tanβ$ in the case of the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of the 125 GeV Higgs. For example, for $m_H=600$ GeV and 140 GeV $<m_A<200$ GeV, $\tanβ$ is …
We analyse the possibility that, in two Higgs doublet models, one or more of the Higgs couplings to fermions or to gauge bosons change sign, relative to the respective Higgs Standard Model couplings. Possible sign changes in the coupling of a neutral scalar to charged ones are also discussed. These \textit{wrong signs} can have important physical consequences, manifesting themselves in Higgs production via gluon fusion or Higgs decay into two gluons or into two photons. We consider all possible wrong sign scenarios, and also the \textit{symmetric limit}, in all possible Yukawa implementations …
We discuss the prospects to probe the light-quark Yukawa couplings to the Higgs boson. The Higgs coupling to the charm quark can be probed both via inclusive and exclusive approaches. On the inclusive frontier, we use our recently proposed method together with published experimental studies for the sensitivity of the Higgs coupling to bottom quarks to find that the high-luminosity LHC can be sensitive to modifications of the charm Yukawa of the order of a few times its standard model (SM) value. We also present a preliminary study of this mode for a 100 TeV hadronic machine (with similar lumin…
We present a detailed analysis of the rare exclusive Higgs-boson decays into a single vector meson and a photon and investigate the possibility of using these processes to probe the light-quark Yukawa couplings. We work with an effective Lagrangian with modified Higgs couplings to account for possible new-physics effects in a model-independent way. The h->Vγ decay rate is governed by the destructive interference of two amplitudes, one of which involves the Higgs coupling to the quark anti-quark pair inside the vector meson. We derive this amplitude at next-to-leading order in α_s using QCD fac…
We propose a novel strategy to constrain the bottom and charm Yukawa couplings by exploiting LHC measurements of transverse momentum distributions in Higgs production. Our method does not rely on the reconstruction of exclusive final states or heavy-flavour tagging. Compared to other proposals it leads to an enhanced sensitivity to the Yukawa couplings due to distortions of the differential Higgs spectra from emissions which either probe quark loops or are associated to quark-initiated production. We derive constraints using data from LHC Run I, and we explore the prospects of our method at fu…
We propose a new method to determine the coupling of the Higgs boson to charm quarks, via Higgs production in association with a charm-tagged jet: $pp\to hc$. As a first estimate, we find that at the LHC with 3000 fb$^{-1}$ it should be possible to derive a constraint of order one, relative to the SM value of the charm Yukawa coupling. As a byproduct of this analysis, we present an estimate of the exclusive $pp \to hD^{(*)}$ electroweak cross section. Within the SM, the latter turns out to be not accessible at the LHC even in the high-luminosity phase.
We consider the wrong-Higgs interactions such as type-III two Higgs doublet models. Generally, such interactions cause flavor problems. However, if new Yukawa interactions have the same flavor structure as that of the standard model(SM), we do not have any flavor problems. In this work we propose a microscopic model for the wrong-Higgs interactions aligned with SM ones in the context of supersymmetry(SUSY) and show their phenomenological implications. Low energy contraints from muon g-2 and rare B decays can be relieved and it can be viable to have low mass superparticle spectra with light dar…
We perform global fits of the Higgs boson couplings to all the 7 TeV, 8 TeV, and 13 TeV data available up to the Summer 2018. New measurements at 13 TeV extend to include the Higgs signal strengths exclusively measured in associated Higgs production with top-quark pair and the third-generation Yukawa couplings now have been established. Some important consequences emerge from the global fits. (i) The overall average signal strength of the Higgs boson stands at $2σ$ above the SM value ($μ= 1.10 \pm 0.05 $). (ii) For the first time the bottom-quark Yukawa coupling shows a preference of the posit…
The realization that first- and second-generation Yukawa couplings can be probed by decays of the Higgs boson to a meson in association with a photon has renewed interest in such rare exclusive decays. We present here a detailed study of the rare $Z$-boson processes $Z \to J/ψ+γ$, $Z \to Υ+γ$, and $Z \to ϕ+γ$ that can serve as benchmarks for the analogous Higgs-boson decays. We include both direct-production and fragmentation contributions to these decays, and consider the leading QCD corrections and the relativistic corrections to the $J/ψ$ and $Υ$ processes. We present numerical predictions …
After the discovery of the 125 GeV scalar boson with gauge properties similar to the Standard Model Higgs, the search for beyond the SM interactions will focus on studying the discovered particles' coupling properties more precisely and shedding light on the relation of fermion masses with the electroweak vacuum. The large mass of the top quark and the SM-predicted order one top Yukawa coupling is a natural candidate for BSM physics, though experimentally challenging to constrain. In this paper, we argue that investigating angular correlations in $pp\to tHj$ production provides an excellent ha…
We study the alignment of Yukawa couplings in the framework of general two Higgs doublet models (2HDMs) considering a scenario in which the lightest neutral Higgs boson is purely CP even while the two heavier neutral Higgs bosons are allowed to mix in the presence of nontrivial CP-violating phases in the Higgs potential. Identifying the lightest neutral Higgs boson as the 125 GeV one discovered at the LHC, we find that the alignment of Yukawa couplings without decoupling could be easily achieved in the type-I 2HDM with no much conflict with the current LHC Higgs precision data. Otherwise, we o…
Right-handed neutrinos ($ν_{R}$) are often considered as a portal to new hidden physics. It is tempting to consider a gauge singlet scalar $(ϕ)$ that exclusively couples to $ν_{R}$ via a $ν_{R}ν_{R}ϕ$ term. Such a $ν_{R}$-philic scalar does not interact with charged fermions at tree level but loop-induced effective interactions are inevitable, which are systematically investigated in this work. The magnitude of the loop-induced couplings coincidentally meets the current sensitivity of fifth-force searches. In particular, the loop-induced coupling to muons could be tested in the recent LIGO obs…
The prospects for central exclusive diffractive (CED) production of MSSM Higgs bosons at the LHC are reviewed. It is shown that the CED channels, making use of forward proton detectors at the LHC installed at 220 m and 420 m distance around ATLAS and / or CMS, can provide important information on the Higgs sector of the MSSM. In particular, CED production of the neutral CP-even Higgs bosons h and H and their decays into bottom quarks has the potential to probe interesting regions of the M_A--tan_beta parameter plane of the MSSM and may give access to the bottom Yukawa couplings of the Higgs bo…
We present the next-to-leading order QCD corrected rate for the production of a scalar Higgs boson with a pair of high p_T bottom and anti-bottom quarks at the Tevatron and at the Large Hadron Collider. Results are given for both the Standard Model and the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. The exclusive b-bbar-h production rate is small in the Standard Model, but it can be greatly enhanced in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model for large tan(beta), making b-bbar-h an important discovery mode. We find that the next-to-leading order QCD results are much less sensitive to the renormali…
In the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM), if the two Higgs doublets are lighter than some subset of the superpartners of the Standard Model particles, then it is possible to integrate out the heavy states to obtain an effective broken-supersymmetric low-energy Lagrangian. This Lagrangian can contain dimension-four gauge invariant Higgs interactions that violate supersymmetry (SUSY). The "wrong-Higgs" Yukawa couplings generated by one-loop radiative corrections are a well known example of this phenomenon. In this paper, we examine gauge invariant gaugino--higgsino--H…
We consider tan(beta)-enhanced quantum effects in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) including those from the Higgs sector. To this end, we match the MSSM to an effective two-Higgs doublet model (2HDM), assuming that all SUSY particles are heavy, and calculate the coefficients of the operators that vanish or are suppressed in the MSSM at tree-level. Our result clarifies the dependence of the large-tan(beta) resummation on the renormalization convention for tan(beta), and provides analytic expressions for the Yukawa and trilinear Higgs interactions. The numerical effect is analyze…
Many theories require augmenting the Standard Model with additional scalar fields with large order one couplings. We present a new solution to the hierarchy problem for these scalar fields. We explore parity- and $\mathbb{Z}_2$-symmetric theories where the Standard Model Higgs potential has two vacua. The parity or $\mathbb{Z}_2$ copy of the Higgs lives in the minimum far from the origin while our Higgs occupies the minimum near the origin of the potential. This approach results in a theory with multiple light scalar fields but with only a single hierarchy problem, since the bare mass is tied …
In the aligned two-Higgs-doublet model, the alignment of Yukawa matrices in flavour space guarantees the absence of tree-level flavour-changing neutral currents, while allowing at the same time for new sources of CP violation, implying potentially large effects in many low-energy processes. In this work we study the constraints from exclusive radiative $B\to Vγ$ decays, where $V$ denotes a light vector meson. The current experimental data on the CP-averaged branching ratios and the direct CP and isospin asymmetries are analyzed. It is found that, while the branching ratios and direct CP asymme…
A sequential fourth generation is known to be excluded because the non-decoupling contribution to $κ_g$, the Higgs coupling modifier with a gluon pair, is unacceptably large. Recently a new way to save the model was suggested in the Type-II two Higgs doublet model: if the Yukawa couplings of down-type fermions have wrong-sign, the contributions from $t'$ and $b'$ to $κ_g$ are cancelled. We study the theoretical and experimental constraints on this model, focusing on the heavy Higgs bosons. Two constraining features are pointed out. First the exact wrong-sign limit does not allow the alignment,…
In this paper we argue that having available higher order fully exclusive Monte Carlo generator for Higgs boson production from heavy quark fusion will be mandatory for data analysis at LHC. The H to tau tau channel, a key for early discovery of the Higgs boson in the MSSM scenario, is discussed. With simplified example and for mH = 120 GeV we show, that depending on choice among presently available approaches, used for simulation of Higgs boson production from b bbar H Yukawa coupling, final acceptance for the signal events being reconstructed inside mass window may differ by a factor of 3. T…
A light pseudoscalar of the lepton-specific 2HDM can enhance the muon g-2, but suffer from various constraints easily, such as the 125.5 GeV Higgs signals, non-observation of additional Higgs at the collider and even $B_s\to μ^+μ^-$. In this paper, we take the light CP-even Higgs as the 125.5 GeV Higgs, and examine the implications of those observables on a pseudoscalar with the mass below the half of 125.5 GeV. Also the other relevant theoretical and experimental constraints are considered. We find that the pseudoscalar can be allowed to be as low as 10 GeV, but the corresponding $\tanβ$, $\s…
We study implications of large lepton-quark-leptoquark couplings for direct leptoquark searches at Large Hadron Collider. We present all existing flavor constraints on the strength of these couplings assuming that leptoquarks under consideration interact exclusively with charged leptons and quarks of the same generation. We find that these leptoquarks can have sizeable couplings to the Standard Model fermions. This insures a self consistency of our study. We discuss the leptoquark production mechanisms at LHC and demonstrate the importance of inclusion of a t-channel pair production and, in pa…
The doubly weak transition $b\to dd{\bar s}$ is highly suppressed in the standard model, which makes it a potential channel to explore new physics signals. We present a study of the exclusive two body wrong sign weak decay $\smash{\overline B}^0\to K^+π^-$ belonging to this class within the perturbative QCD approach. We perform a model independent analysis for various effective dimension-6 operators, in which large effects are possible. We further analyze the considered process in example models such as Randall-Sundrum model, including the custodially protected and the bulk-Higgs Randall-Sundr…
Higgs boson production in association with a high pT photon at the CERN Large Hadron Collider is analyzed, in the framework of the MSSM model, for the heavier neutral Higgs bosons. The request of an additional photon in the exclusive Higgs boson final state selects b-quark pairs among the possible initial partonic states, since gluon-gluon initial states are not allowed by C-parity conservation. Hence, the measurement of cross sections for neutral Higgs boson plus photon production can provide a clean probe of the b-quark density in the proton as well as of the b-quark Yukawa coupling. The sup…
Within the framework of the Lee Wick Standard Model (LWSM) we investigate Higgs pair production $gg \to h_0 h_0$, $gg \to h_0 \tilde p_0$ and top pair production $gg \to \bar tt$ at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), where the neutral particles from the Higgs sector ($h_0$, $\tilde h_0$ and $\tilde p_0$) appear as possible resonant intermediate states. We investigate the signal $gg \to h_0 h_0 \to \bar b b γγ$ and we find that the LW Higgs, depending on its mass-range, can be seen not long after the LHC upgrade in 2012. More precisely this happens when the new LW Higgs states are below the top p…
We show that the use of forward proton detectors at the LHC installed at 220 m and 420 m distance around ATLAS and / or CMS can provide important information on the Higgs sector of the MSSM. We analyse central exclusive production of the neutral CP-even Higgs bosons h and H and their decays into bottom quarks, tau leptons and W bosons in different MSSM benchmark scenarios. Using plausible estimates for the achievable experimental efficiencies and the relevant background processes, we find that the prospective sensitivity of the diffractive Higgs production will allow to probe interesting regio…
We study CP asymmetry for the exclusive decay B --> K^* l^+ l^- in the two Higgs doublet model with three level flavor changing neutral currents (model III). We analyse the dependency of this quantity to the new phase coming from the complex Yukawa couplings in the theory and we find that there exist a considerable CP violation for the relevant process. Further, we see that the sign of the Wilson coefficient C_7^{eff} can be determined by fixing dilepton mass. Therefore, the future measurements of CP asymmetry for B --> K^* l^+ l^- decay will give a powerful information about the sign of Wilso…
We assume that the 125 GeV Higgs discovered at the LHC is the heavy CP-even Higgs of the two-Higgs-doublet models, and examine the parameter space in the Type-I, Type-II, Lepton-specific and Flipped models allowed by the latest Higgs signal data, the relevant experimental and theoretical constraints. Further, we show the projected limits on $\tanβ$, $\sin(β-α)$, $Hf\bar{f}$ and $HVV$ couplings from the future measurements of the 125 GeV Higgs at the LHC and ILC, including the LHC with integrated luminosity of 300 fb$^{-1}$ (LHC-300 fb$^{-1}$) and 3000 fb$^{-1}$ (LHC-3000 fb$^{-1}$) as well as …
The class of higher-dimensional scenarios, based on a brane-localised Higgs boson coupled to bulk fermions, can address both the flavour puzzle and gauge hierarchy problem. A key question arises due to the possibility of fermion profile discontinuities at the Higgs boundary: how to calculate rigorously the fermion mass spectrum and effective four-dimensional (4D) Yukawa couplings? We show that the proper treatment, leading to physically consistent solutions, does not rely on any Higgs peak regularisation but requires the presence of certain Bilinear Brane Terms (BBT). In particular, no profile…
Exclusive observables involving Higgs boson in association with jets are often well suited to study the Higgs boson properties. They are rates involving cuts on the final state jets or differential distributions of rapidity, transverse momentum of the observed Higgs boson. While they get dominant contributions from gluon initiated partonic subprocesses, it is important to include the subdominant ones coming from other channels. In this article, we study one such channel namely the Higgs production in association with a jet in bottom anti-bottom annihilation process. We compute relevant amplitu…
We revisit four generations within the context of supersymmetry. We compute the perturbativity limits for the fourth generation Yukawa couplings and show that if the masses of the fourth generation lie within reasonable limits of their present experimental lower bounds, it is possible to have perturbativity only up to scales around 1000 TeV, i.e. the current experimental bounds and perturbative unification are mutually exclusive. Such low scales are ideally suited to incorporate gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking, where the mediation scale can be as low as 10-20 TeV. The minimal messenger m…
The latest LHC data confirmed the existence of a Higgs-like particle and made interesting measurements on its decays into $γγ$, $Z Z^\ast$, $W W^\ast$, $τ^+ τ^-$, and $b \bar{b}$. It is expected that a decay into $Z γ$ might be measured at the next LHC round, for which there already exists an upper bound. The Higgs-like particle could be a mixture of scalar with a relatively large component of pseudoscalar. We compute the decay of such a mixed state into $Z γ$, and we study its properties in the context of the complex two Higgs doublet model, analysing the effect of the current measurements on…
We examine the parameter space of two-Higgs-doublet model of type-II after imposing the relevant theoretical and experimental constraints from the precision electroweak data, $B$-meson decays, the LHC run-I and run-II data. We find that the searches for Higgs via the $τ\barτ,~WW,~ZZ,γγ,~hh,~hZ,~HZ,~AZ$ channels can give strong constraints on the CP-odd Higgs $A$ and heavy CP-even Higgs $H$, and the parameter space excluded by each channel is respectively carved out in detail. The surviving samples are discussed in two different of regions: (i) In the SM-like coupling region of the 125 GeV Higg…
We study the production and decay of a heavy charged Higgs boson in the $bg\to tH^-$ and $H^-\to b\bar t$ processes at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We show that the chiral structure of the $H^-t\bar b$ vertex entering both stages is sensitive to the underlying Higgs mechanism of Electro-Weak Symmetry Breaking (EWSB) and we specifically demonstrate that one could distinguish between two popular realizations of a 2-Higgs Double Model (2HDM) embedding a new $H^\pm$ state, i.e., those with Type-I and -Y Yukawa couplings. The chiral structure of such a vertex, which is different in the two case…
We investigate the exclusive $B\to γ\ell^+ \ell^- $ decay in the general two Higgs doublet model (model III) including the neutral Higgs boson effects with an emphasis on possible CP-violating effects. For this decay, we analyse the dependencies of the forward-backward asymmetry of the lepton pair, $A_{FB}$, CP-violating asymmetry, $A_{CP}$, and the CP-violating asymmetry in forward-backward asymmetry, $A_{CP}(A_{FB})$, on the model parameters and also on the neutral Higgs boson effects. We have found that $A_{FB}\sim 10^{-1}, 10^{-2}$, $A_{CP}\sim 10^{-2}, 10^{-1}$ and $A_{CP}(A_{FB}) \sim 10…
We investigate in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) environment the possibility that sizeable interference effects between a {\sl heavy} charged Higgs boson signal produced via $bg\to tH^-$ (+ c.c.) scattering and decaying via $H^-\to W^- A\to W^- b\bar b$ (+ c.c.) and the irreducible background given by $bg\to t W^- b\bar b$ topologies could spoil current search approaches where the former and latter channels are treated separately. The rationale for this comes from the fact that a heavy charged Higgs state can have a large width, and so can happen for the CP-odd neutral Higgs state emerging in…
The unique Higgs physics opportunities accessible at the CERN Future Circular Collider (FCC) in electron-positron ($\sqrt{s}$ = 125, 240, 350 GeV) and proton-proton ($\sqrt{s}$ = 100 TeV) collisions, are succinctly summarized. Thanks to the large c.m. energies and enormous luminosities (plus clean experimental conditions in the $e^+e^-$ case), many open fundamental aspects of the Higgs sector of the Standard Model (SM) can be experimentally studied: (i) Measurement of the Higgs Yukawa couplings to the lightest fermions: u,d,s quarks (via rare exclusive $H\to(ρ,ω,ϕ)+γ$ decays); and e$^\pm$ (via…
We investigate the possibility of detectable 2-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) type-II cross-sections at the High-Luminosity phase of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) for the production of the Standard Model (SM)-like Higgs boson ($h$) in association with a single top (anti)quark over the parameter space region corresponding to the so-called `wrong-sign solution' of the bottom (anti)quark Yukawa coupling. We isolate the latter by using the toolbox Magellan, which performs Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) scans in the presence of all current theoretical and experimental constraints, which relevance…
The production mechanisms and decay modes of the heavy neutral and charged Higgs bosons in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model are investigated at future $e^+ e^-$ colliders in the TeV energy regime. We generate supersymmetric particle spectra by requiring the MSSM Higgs potential to produce correct radiative electroweak symmetry breaking, and we assume a common scalar mass $m_0$, gaugino mass $m_{1/2}$ and trilinear coupling $A$, as well as gauge and Yukawa coupling unification at the Grand Unification scale. Particular emphasis is put on the low $\tb$ solution in this scenario where de…
Models with two scalar doublets are among the simplest extensions of the Standard Model which fulfill the relation $ρ= 1$ at lowest order for the $ρ$ parameter as favored by experimental data for electroweak observables allowing only small deviations from unity. Such small deviations $Δρ$ originate exclusively from quantum effects with special sensitivity to mass splittings between different isospin components of fermions and scalars. In this paper the dominant two-loop electroweak corrections to $Δρ$ are calculated in the $CP$-conserving THDM, resulting from the top-Yukawa coupling and the se…
