Lattice spectroscopy with focus on exotics

Exotic meson spectroscopy from the clover action at beta = 5.85 and 6.15

We repeat our original simulations of the hybrid meson spectrum using the clover action, as a check on lattice artifacts. Our results for the 1-+ masses do not substantially change. We present preliminary results for the wave function of the 1-+ state in Coulomb gauge.

Exotic and conventional mesons from lattice

Recent results on meson spectroscopy from lattice QCD are reviewed. The emphasis is on interesting states near thresholds like $Z_c^+(3900)$, $X(3872)$ and $D_{s0}^*(2317)$. Another focus is on the meson resonances in light, strange and charm sector, where the resonance masses as well as the strong decay widths are extracted from the lattice.

Hadron Spectroscopy with Lattice QCD

The status and prospects for investigations of exotic and conventional hadrons with lattice QCD are discussed. The majority of hadrons decay strongly via one or multiple decay-channels, including most of the experimentally discovered exotic hadrons. Despite this difficult challenge, the properties of several hadronic resonances have been determined within lattice QCD. To further discern the spectroscopic properties of various hadrons and to help resolve their nature we present our suggestions for future analytic and lattice studies.

LQCD: Flavor Physics and Spectroscopy

I review highlights of recent results in quark-flavor physics and heavy-quark spectroscopy from lattice QCD, with emphasis on $B$-meson decays and excited and exotic charmonium states.

Charmonium spectroscopy from an anisotropic lattice study

We present a progress report on our study of the charmonium spectrum in full QCD on anisotropic lattices generated by the Hadron Spectrum Collaboration. We adopt a large basis of interpolating operators to extract the excited charmonium states using the variational method. A detailed spectrum of excited charmonium mesons in many $J^{PC}$ channels is obtained. Hybrid states with exotic and non-exotic quantum numbers are determined and preliminary results from a study of disconnected contributions to the $η_c$ are presented.

Excited spectroscopy of mesons containing charm quarks from lattice QCD

We present highly excited spectra of charmonium, charm-light and charm-strange mesons using the dynamical anisotropic lattices of the Hadron Spectrum Collaboration. The use of novel techniques has allowed us to extract these spectra with a high degree of statistical precision, while also enabling us to observe states as high as spin-4, states with exotic quantum numbers and candidate gluonic excitations. We discuss the phenomenology of these spectra, and also present preliminary results of Dπ scattering considering only the lowest partial wave in the isospin-3/2 channel.

QCD confronts heavy-flavor and exotic hadrons

A review of QCD-based theory approaches to study the heavy-flavor and exotic hadrons is given. The focus is on the results from lattice QCD and from lattice QCD complemented by effective field theories. Both approaches are first briefly introduced and applied in few examples. Then the status of various hadrons sectors is presented.

Spectroscopy of mesons with bottom quarks

Preliminary results for the spectra of excited and exotic bottom mesons are presented. The calculation on a dynamical anisotropic ensemble exploits distillation, enabling the use of a large basis of interpolating operators including those proportional to the gluonic field strength which are relevant for hybrid states. A comparison of results with similar calculations in the light and charm sectors is discussed.

The Isoscalar Mesons and Exotic States in Light Front Holographic QCD

In this article a systematic quantitative analysis of the isoscalar bosonic states is performed in the framework of supersymmetric light front holographic QCD. It is shown that the spectroscopy of the $η$ and $h$ mesons can be well described if one additional mass parameter -- which corresponds to the hard breaking of chiral $U(1)$ symmetry in standard QCD -- is introduced. The mass difference of the $η$ and $η'$ isoscalar mesons is then determined by the strange quark mass content of the $η'$. Review on Hadron Spectroscopy

I review some of the lattice results on spectroscopy and resonances in the past years. For the conventional hadron spectrum computations, focus has been put on the isospin breaking effects, QED effects, and simulations near the physical pion mass point. I then go through several single-channel scattering studies within Lüscher formalism, a method that has matured over the past few years. Surveying exotic pentaquarks with the typical $QQqq\bar{q}$ configuration

As a hot issue, exploring exotic pentaquarks is full of challenges and opportunities for both theorist and experimentalist. In this work, we focus on a type of pentaquark with the $QQqq\bar{q}$ ($Q=b,c$; $q=u,d,s$) configuration, where their mass spectrum is estimated systematically. Especially, our result indicates that there may exist some stable or narrow exotic pentaquark states. Obviously, our study may provides valuable information for further experimental search for the $QQqq\bar{q}$ pentaquarks.
