Emergent behaviors of the discrete-time Kuramoto model for generic initial configuration

In this paper, we will study the emergent dynamics of the discrete Kuramoto model for generic initial data. This is an extension of the previous work S.-Y. Ha et al. (2019), in which the initial configurations are supposed to be within a half circle. More precisely, we will provide the theory of discrete gradient flow which can be applied to general Euler iteration scheme. Therefore, as a direct application, we conclude the emergence of synchronization of discrete Kuramoto model. Moreover, we obtain for small mesh size that, the synchronization will occur exponentially fast for initial data in A_1 (see definition in (4.1)).

We propose a generalized Kuramoto model with relativistic effects and investigate emergent asymptotic behaviors. Emergent dynamics of the Kuramoto ensemble under the effect of inertia

We study the emergent collective behaviors for an ensemble of identical Kuramoto oscillators under the effect of inertia. In the absence of inertial effects, it is well known that the generic initial Kuramoto ensemble relaxes to the phase-locked states asymptotically (emergence of complete synchronization) in a large coupling regime. We study emergent asymptotic dynamics for the first and second-order high-dimensional Kuramoto models on Stiefel manifolds which extend the previous consensus models on Riemannian manifolds including several matrix Lie groups. Mean field Kuramoto models on graphs

One of a classical synchronization model is the Kuramoto model. We propose both first and second order Kuramoto dynamical models on graphs using discrete optimal transport dynamics. We analyze the synchronization behaviors for some examples of Kuramoto models on graphs. We also provide a generalized Hopf-Cole transformation for discrete optimal transport systems. Focus on the two points graph, we derive analytical formulas of the Kuramoto dynamics with various potential induced from entropy functionals. Several numerical examples for the Kuramoto model on general graphs are presented.

Emergence of synchronization in Kuramoto model with frustration under general network topology

In this paper, we will study the emergent behavior of Kuramoto model with frustration on a general digraph containing a spanning tree. We provide a sufficient condition for the emergence of asymptotical synchronization if the initial data is confined in half circle. We present constants of motion for the finite-dimensional Lohe type aggregation models with frustration and we apply them to analyze the emergence of collective behaviors.
