The Next-to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) with a Type-I seesaw mechanism extends the NMSSM by three generations of right-handed neutrino fields to generate neutrino mass. As a byproduct it renders the lightest sneutrino as a viable DM candidate. Due to the gauge singlet nature of the DM, its scattering with nucleon is suppressed in most cases to coincide spontaneously with the latest XENON-1T results. Consequently, broad parameter spaces in the Higgs sector, especially a light Higgsino mass, are resurrected as experimentally allowed, which makes the theory well suited to explain the long standing $b \bar{b}$ excess at LEP-II and the continuously observed $γγ$ excess by CMS collaboration. We show by both analytic formulas and numerical results that the theory can naturally predict the central values of the excesses in its broad parameter space, and the explanations are consistent with the Higgs data of the discovered Higgs boson, $B-$physics and DM physics measurements, the electroweak precision data as well as the LHC search for sparticles. Part of the explanations may be tested by future DM experiments and the SUSY search at the LHC.
We investigate the parameter space of a model which extends next to minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) with the vectorlike (VL) particles. We find that the $10+\overline{10}$ model can explain the possible diphoton excess recently revealed by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations, although the predicted signal strength is a little smaller than the observed one.
NMSSM with a light singlet-like scalar and strongly suppressed couplings to $b$ and $τ$ is investigated. It is shown that in such a scenario the singlet-like scalar to diphoton signal can be larger than for the SM Higgs for a wide range of masses between 60 and 110 GeV, in agreement with all the LEP and LHC data. Enhancement of the singlet-like scalar to diphoton signal is correlated with positive correction to the SM-like Higgs mass from mixing between SM-like Higgs and the singlet. It is also shown that the couplings to $b$ and $τ$ and, in consequence, branching ratios of the SM-like Higgs a…
The excess of events in the diphoton final state near 750 GeV observed by ATLAS and CMS can be explained within the NMSSM near the R-symmetry limit. Both scalars beyond the Standard Model Higgs boson have masses near 750 GeV, mix strongly, and share sizeable production cross sections in association with b-quarks as well as branching fractions into a pair of very light pseudoscalars. Pseudoscalars with a mass of ~ 210 MeV decay into collimated diphotons, whereas pseudoscalars with a mass of ~ 500-550 MeV can decay either into collimated diphotons or into three pi^0 resulting in collimated photo…
We propose an NMSSM scenario that can explain the excess in the diphoton spectrum at 750 GeV recently observed by ATLAS and CMS. We show that in a certain limit with a very light pseudoscalar one can reproduce the experimental results without invoking exotic matter. The 750 GeV excess is produced by two resonant heavy Higgs bosons with masses ~750 GeV, that subsequently decay to two light pseudoscalars. Each of these decays to collimated photon pairs that appear as a single photon in the electromagnetic calorimeter. A mass gap between heavy Higgses mimics a large width of the 750 GeV peak. The…
We study the implications of the LHC Higgs signals on the Higgs mixing in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM). The Higgs couplings can depart from their values in the standard model (SM) due to mixing effects. However the Higgs signal rate in the WW and ZZ channels can remain close to the SM values, as observed at the LHC, even if the SM-like Higgs boson with a mass near 125 GeV has a large singlet component. This allows to get a sizable enhancement in the Higgs to diphoton rate through the charged-higgsino loop contribution, as well as a sizable reduction of the Higgs to…
NMSSM has enough ingredients to explain the diphoton excess at 750 GeV: singlet-like (pseudo) scalar ($a$) $s$ and higgsinos as heavy vector-like fermions. We consider the production of the 750 GeV singlet-like pseudo scalar a from a decay of the doublet-like pseudo scalar $A$, and the subsequent decay of $a$ into two photons via higgsino loop. We demonstrate that this cascade decay of the NMSSM Higgs bosons can explain the diphoton excess in the 13 TeV data consistently with the absence of a significant excess in the 8 TeV data.
We consider extensions of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric model (NMSSM) in which the observed neutrino masses are described in terms of effective dimension six (or seven) rather than dimension five operators. All such operators respect the discrete symmetries of the model. The new particles associated with the double (or triple) seesaw mechanism can have sizable couplings to the known leptons, even with a TeV seesaw scale. In the latter case some of these new short-lived particles could be produced and detected at the LHC.

Natural Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (nNMSSM) is featured by predicting one CP-even Higgs boson satisfying $m_{h_1} \lesssim 120 \,{\rm GeV}$ and Higgsinos lighter than about 300 GeV, and consequently the cross section for DM-nucleon scattering in this scenario is usually quite large. We study the diphoton signal of the light Higgs boson in nNMSSM by considering the tight constraints from the latest LUX and PandaX-II experiments, and we conclude that the optimal value of the signal rate at 8 TeV LHC is greatly reduced in comparison with earlier predictions. For example, previo…
We consider extensions of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric model (NMSSM) in which the observed neutrino masses are generated through a TeV scale inverse seesaw mechanism. The new particles associated with this mechanism can have sizable couplings to the Higgs field which can yield a large contribution to the mass of the lightest CP-even Higgs boson. With this new contribution, a 126 GeV Higgs is possible along with order of 200 GeV masses for the stop quarks for a broad range of \tanβ. The Higgs production and decay in the diphoton channel can be enhanced due to this new contribution. It is …
We propose to accommodate economically the type-II neutrino seesaw mechanism in (G)NMSSM from GMSB and AMSB, respectively. The heavy triplets within neutrino seesaw mechanism are identified to be the messengers. Therefore, the $μ$-problem, the neutrino mass generation, LFV as well the soft SUSY breaking parameters can be economically combined in a non-trivial way. General features of such extensions are discussed. The type-II neutrino seesaw-specific interactions can give additional Yukawa deflection contributions to the soft SUSY breaking parameters of NMSSM, which are indispensable to realiz…
The supersymmetric type II seesaw may leave a limit where a triplet boson along with the standard Higgs boson remains light. Working in this limit with small triplet vacuum expectation vlaues, we explore how much such a light triplet boson can contribute to the Higgs boson decay to diphoton, and analyze the feasibility to observe it through same-sign di-lepton and tetra-lepton signals in the forthcoming LHC run after setting a LHC7 limit in a simplified parameter space of the triplet vaccum expectation value and the doubly charged boson mass.
We study constraints from perturbativity and vacuum stability as well as the EWPD in the type II seesaw model. As a result, we can put stringent limits on the Higgs triplet couplings depending on the cut-off scale. The EWPD tightly constrain the Higgs triplet mass splitting to be smaller than about 40 GeV. Analyzing the Higgs-to-diphoton rate in the allowed parameter region, we show how much it can deviate from the Standard Model prediction for specific parameter points.
We propose to interpret the 750 GeV diphoton excess in a typical topflavor seesaw model. The new resonance X can be identified as a CP-even scalar emerging from a certain bi-doublet Higgs field. Such a scalar can couple to charged scalars, fermions as well as heavy gauge bosons predicted by the model, and consequently all of the particles contribute to the diphoton decay mode of the X. Numerical analysis indicates that the model can predict the central value of the diphoton excess without contradicting any constraints from 8 TeV LHC, and among the constraints, the tightest one comes from the Z…

As a result, we can put stringent limits on the Higgs triplet couplings depending on the cut-off scale. The EWPD tightly constrain the Higgs triplet mass splitting to be smaller than 40 GeV. Analyzing the Higgs-to-diphoton rate in the allowed parameter region, we show a possible enhancement by up to 100 % and 50 % for the cut-off scale of 100 TeV and $10^{19}$ GeV, respectively, if the doubly charged Higgs boson mass is as low as 100 GeV.
The new results on the muon anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) published by Fermilab in 2021, did not lead to a reduction of its long-pending deviation from the Standard Model (SM) value by more than 4$σ$. The explanation of this discrepancy by adding new particles to the theory puts many new physics models under tension when combined with the null results of the LHC direct searches for new particles. In this paper, we investigate the CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the SM (NMSSM) with and without an inverse seesaw mechanism. We compute the one-loop supersymmetric contrib…
In supersymmetric theories like the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM), the lightest neutralino with bino or singlino as its dominant component is customarily taken as dark matter (DM) candidate. Since light Higgsinos favored by naturalness can strength the couplings of the DM and thus enhance the DM-nucleon scattering rate, the tension between naturalness and DM direct detection results becomes more and more acute with the improved experimental sensitivity. In this work, we extend the NMSSM by inverse seesaw mechanism to generate neutrino mass, and show that in certain para…
In this study, we work in the framework of the Next-to-Minimal extension of the Standard Model (NMSSM) extended by six singlet leptonic superfields. Through the mixing with the three doublet leptonic superfields, the non-zero tiny neutrino masses can be generated through the inverse seesaw mechanism. While $R$-parity is conserved in this model lepton number is explicitly violated. We quantify the impact of the extended neutrino sector on the NMSSM Higgs sector by computing the complete one-loop corrections with full momentum dependence to the Higgs boson masses in a mixed on-shell-$\overline{\…
The recently improved observation of the fine structure constant has led to a negative $2.4σ$ anomaly of electron $g-2$. Combined with the long-existing positive $4.2σ$ discrepancy of the muon anomalous magnetic moment, it is interesting and difficult to explain these two anomalies with a consistent model without introducing flavor violations. We show that they can be simultaneously explained in the inverse seesaw extended next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (ISS-NMSSM) by the Higgsino--sneutrino contributions to $(g-2)_e$ and $(g-2)_μ$. The spectrum features prefer light $μ$, which …
We study a region in the NMSSM parameter space in which the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson is uplifted by ~4-17 GeV, allowing for stop masses and |A_t| <= 1 TeV alleviating the little fine tuning problem of the MSSM. An uplift of the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson is possible in two distinct regions in the NMSSM parameter space: Either for large lambda and small tan(beta) or, through singlet-doublet mixing, for small lambda and large tan(beta). For a mostly singlet-like Higgs state H_S with a mass below 125 GeV we investigate possible direct or indirect search channels at the run II of the L…
In the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with the inverse seesaw mechanism to generate neutrino masses, the lightest sneutrino may act as a feasible dark matter candidate in vast parameter space. In this case, the smallness of the leptonic unitarity violation and the recent XENON-1T experiment can limit the dark matter physics. In particular, they set upper bounds of the neutrino Yukawa couplings $λ_ν$ and $Y_ν$. We study such effects by encoding the constraints in a likelihood function and carrying out elaborated scans over the parameter space of the theory with the Nested Samplin…
We investigate a possibility for explaining the recently announced 750\,GeV diphoton excess by the ATLAS and the CMS experiments at the CERN LHC in a model with multiple doubly charged particles, which was originally suggested for explaining tiny neutrino masses through a three-loop effect in a natural way. The enhanced radiatively generated effective coupling of a new singlet scalar $S$ with diphoton with multiple charged particles in the loop enlarges the production rate of $S$ in $pp\to S+X$ via photon fusion process and also the decay width $Γ(S\to γγ)$ even without assuming a tree level p…
We propose a new type of radiative neutrino model with a local hidden $U(1)$ symmetry, in which neutrino masses are induced at the three loop level, and discuss the muon anomalous magnetic moment, and dark matter candidates therein. By allowing the hypercharges larger than 3/2 for new fields that contribute to the neutrino masses and making them decay into the standard model fields appropriately, we introduce a lot of new particles with multiple electrical charges in a natural manner. As a by-product, we can accommodate the 750 GeV diphoton excess depending on the hypercharge quantum numbers o…
In the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) with extra heavy neutrino superfields, neutrino may acquire its mass via a seesaw mechanism and sneutrino may act as a viable dark matter (DM) candidate. Given the strong tension between the naturalness for $Z$ boson mass and the DM direct detection experiments for customary neutralino DM candidate, we augment the NMSSM with Type-I seesaw mechanism, which is the simplest extension of the theory to predict neutrino mass, and study the scenarios of sneutrino DM. We construct likelihood function with LHC Higgs data, B-physics measuremen…
The present work investigates the possibility that both dark matter and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon may be explained within the context of the inverse seesaw extended Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (ISS-NMSSM). In ISS-NMSSM, the newly introduced Higgs-neutrino Yukawa coupling $Y_ν$ provides additional Higgsino-sneutrino loop contribution to $(g-2)_μ$. If the deviation between the experimental observations and the Standard Model predictions of the anomalous muon magnetic moment is confirmed by the further experimental and theoretical studies, it can be explained nat…
We present a possible interpretation of the recent diphoton excess reported by the $\sqrt s=13$ TeV LHC data in quark seesaw left-right models with vectorlike fermions proposed to solve the strong $CP$ problem without the axion. The gauge singlet real scalar field responsible for the mass of the vectorlike fermions has the right production cross section and diphoton branching ratio to be identifiable with the reported excess at around 750 GeV diphoton invariant mass. Various ways to test this hypothesis as more data accumulates at the LHC are proposed.
We explore the detection possibility of light pseudoscalar Higgs boson in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric Standard Model(NMSSM) at the LHC with the center of mass energy, $\sqrt{S}=13$ TeV. We focus on the parameter space which provides one of the Higgs boson as the SM-like with a mass of 125 GeV and some of the non-SM-like Higgs bosons can be light having suppressed couplings with fermions and gauge bosons due to their singlet nature. It is observed that for certain region of model parameter space, the singlet like light pseudoscalar can decay to di-photon($γγ$) channel with a substantial …
The top/bottom seesaw model, which extends the top seesaw in order to accomodate a 125 GeV Higgs boson, predicts vector-like top/bottom partners and these partners can be bounded to form several neutral and charged singlet composite scalars by some new strong dynamics. In this letter, we use such a singlet scalar to interpret the 750 GeV diphoton reseanance. This singlet scalar is dominantly produced through the gluon fusion process induced by the partners and its diphoton decay is induced by both the partners and the charged singlet scalars. We show that this scenario can readily account for …
We study the parameter space of the semi-constrained NMSSM, compatible with constraints on the Standard Model like Higgs mass and signal rates, constraints from searches for squarks and gluinos, a dark matter relic density compatible with bounds from WMAP/Planck, and direct detection cross sections compatible with constraints from LUX. The remaining parameter space allows for a fine-tuning as low as about 100, an additional lighter Higgs boson in the 60-120 GeV mass range detectable in the diphoton mode or in decays into a pair of lighter CP-odd Higgs bosons, and dominantly singlino like dark …
In light of recent remarkable progress in Higgs search at the LHC, we study the rare decay process $h \to Zγ$ and show its correlation with the decay $h \to γγ$ in low energy SUSY models such as CMSSM, MSSM, NMSSM and nMSSM. Under various experimental constraints, we scan the parameter space of each model, and present in the allowed parameter space the SUSY predictions on the $Zγ$ and $γγ$ signal rates in the Higgs production at the LHC and future e+e- linear colliders. We have following observations: (i) Compared with the SM prediction, the $Zγ$ and $γγ$ signal rates in the CMSSM are both sli…
The LHC experiments ATLAS and CMS have reported an excess in the diphoton spectrum at \sim 750 GeV. At the same time the motivation for Supersymmetry (SUSY) remains unbowed. Consequently, we review briefly the proposals to explain this excess in SUSY, focusing on "pure" (N)MSSM solutions. We then review in more detail a proposal to realize this excess within the NMSSM. In this particular scenario a Higgs boson with mass around 750 GeV decays to two light pseudo-scalar Higgs bosons. Via mixing with the pion these pseudo-scalars decay into a pair of highly collimated photons, which are identifie…
Thermal leptogenesis in the canonical seesaw model in supersymmetry suffers from the incompatibility of a generic lower bound on the mass scale of the lightest right-handed neutrino and the upper bound on the reheating temperature of the Universe after inflation. This is resolved by adding an extra singlet superfield, with a discrete $Z_2$ symmetry, to the NMSSM (Next to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model). This generic mechanism is applicable to any supersymmetric model for lowering the scale of leptogenesis.
Superconformal anomalies provide an elegant and economical way to understand the soft breaking parameters in SUSY models; however, implementing them leads to the several undesirable features including: tachyonic sleptons and electroweak symmetry breaking problems in both the MSSM and the NMSSM. Since these two theories also have the additonal problem of massless neutrinos, we have reconsidered the AMSB problems in a class of models that extends the NMSSM to explain small neutrino masses via the seesaw mechanism. In a recent paper, we showed that for a class of minimal left-right extensions, a …
We study the NMSSM with universal Susy breaking terms (besides the Higgs sector) at the GUT scale. Within this constrained parameter space, it is not difficult to find a Higgs boson with a mass of about 125 GeV and an enhanced cross section in the diphoton channel. An additional lighter Higgs boson with reduced couplings and a mass <123 GeV is potentially observable at the LHC. The NMSSM-specific Yukawa couplings lambda and kappa are relatively large and tan(beta) is small, such that lambda, kappa and the top Yukawa coupling are of order 1 at the GUT scale. The lightest stop can be as light as…
While the properties of the 125 GeV Higgs boson-like particle observed by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations are largely compatible with those predicted for the Standard Model state, significant deviations are present in some cases. We, therefore, test the viability of a Beyond the Standard Model scenario based on Supersymmetry, the CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, against the corresponding experimental observations. Namely, we identify possible model configurations in which one of its Higgs bosons is consistent with the LHC observation and evaluate the role of the exp…
We study the vacuum stability and unitarity conditions for a 125 GeV Standard Model (SM)-like Higgs boson mass in the type-II seesaw model. We find that, as long as the seesaw scale is introduced below the SM vacuum instability bound, there exists a large parameter space predicting a 125 GeV Higgs mass, irrespective of the exact value of the seesaw scale, satisfying both stability and unitarity conditions up to the Planck scale. We also study the model predictions for the Higgs partial decay widths in the diphoton and Z+photon channels with respect to their SM expectations and find that the de…
We consider the NMSSM extended to include one vector-like family of quarks and leptons. If (some of) these vector-like matter particles, as the Higgs doublets, have Yukawa couplings to the singlet S that exceed unity at about the same scale $Λ\lesssim 10^3$ TeV, this gives the order 40 % enhancement of the tree level Higgs boson mass required in the MSSM to reach 125 GeV. It is conceivable that the Yukawa couplings to the singlet S, although naively blowing up close to $Λ$, will not spoil gauge coupling unification. In such a case the unified coupling $α_X$ could be interestingly led to a valu…
Constraints from searches for squarks and gluinos at the LHC at sqrt{s}=8 TeV are applied to the parameter space of the NMSSM with universal squark/slepton and gaugino masses at the GUT scale, but allowing for non-universal soft Higgs mass parameters (the sNMSSM). We confine ourselves to regions of the parameter space compatible with a 125 GeV Higgs boson with diphoton signal rates at least as large as the Standard Model ones, and a dark matter candidate compatible with WMAP and XENON100 constraints. Following the simulation of numerous points in the m_0-M_{1/2} plane, we compare the constrain…
Neutrino mass patterns and mixing have been studied in the context of next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) with three gauge singlet neutrino superfields. We consider the case with the assumption of R-parity conservation. The vacuum expectation value of the singlet scalar field $S$ of NMSSM induces the Majorana masses for the right-handed neutrinos as well as the usual $μ$-term. The contributions to the light neutrino mass matrix at the tree level as well as one-loop level are considered, consistent with the tri-bimaximal pattern of neutrino mixing. Light neutrino masses arise …
The CMS and ATLAS experiments at the LHC have announced the discovery of a Higgs boson with mass at approximately 125 $GeV/c^{2}$ in the search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via notably the $γγ$ and $ZZ$ to four leptons final states. Considering the recent results on the Higgs boson searches from the LHC, we study the lightest scalar Higgs boson $h_{1}$ in the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model by restricting the next-to-lightest scalar Higgs boson $h_{2}$ to be the observed 125 $GeV/c^{2}$ state. We perform a scan over the relevant NMSSM parameter space that is favoured by low…
We propose a new type of radiative neutrino model with global hidden $U(1)$ symmetry, in which neutrino masses are induced at the four loop level. Then we discuss the muon anomalous magnetic moment to solve the discrepancy between observation and the standard model prediction, and estimate the relic density of a fermion or boson DM candidate in the model. We also discuss the diphoton resonance $R$ by considering a process $pp \to R \to γγ$ as a possible signal of our model.
The maximal $U(1)_L$ supersymmetric inverse seesaw mechanism (M$L$SIS) provides a natural way to relate asymmetric dark matter (ADM) with neutrino physics. In this paper we point out that, M$L$SIS is a natural outcome if one dynamically realizes the inverse seesaw mechanism in the next-to minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) via the dimension-five operator $(N)^2S^2/M_*$, with $S$ the NMSSM singlet developing TeV scale VEV; it slightly violates lepton number due to the suppression by the fundamental scale $M_*$, thus preserving $U(1)_L$ maximally. The resulting sneutrino is a distingu…
Physics beyond the Standard Model (SM) may manifest itself as small deviations from the SM predictions for Higgs signal strengths at 125 GeV. Then, a plausible and interesting possibility is that the Higgs sector is extended and at the weak scale there appears an additional Higgs boson weakly coupled to the SM sector. Combined with the LEP excess in $e^+e^-\to Z(h\to b\bar b)$, the diphoton excess around 96 GeV recently reported by CMS may suggest such a possibility. We examine if those LEP and CMS excesses can be explained simultaneously by a singlet-like Higgs boson in the general next-to-mi…

Using the most recent results of CMS and ATLAS, we study the Higgs decays to $γγ$ and $Zγ$ in the scenario where the two CP even Higgs predicted by the type II seesaw model (HTM) are close to mass degenerate with a mass near $125$ GeV. We analyse the effects of the Higgs potential parameters constrained by the full set of perturbative unitarity, boundedness from below (BFB) as well as from precision electroweak measurements on these decay modes. Our analysis demonstrates that the observed excess in the diphoton Higgs decay channel can be interpreted in our scenario within a delineated region c…
We examine the role of seesaw motivated exotic scalars in loop-mediated Higgs decays. We consider a simple TeV-scale seesaw model built upon the fermionic quintuplet mediator in conjunction with the scalar quadruplet, where we examine portions of the model parameter space for which the contributions of charged components of the scalar quadruplet significantly increase the $h \to γγ$ decay rate. The most significant change in the diphoton width comes from a doubly charged scalar Φ^{--} which should be the lightest component in the scalar quadruplet. There is a mild suppression of the $h \to Z γ…
The Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) offers a rich framework embedding physics beyond the Standard Model as well as consistent interpretations of the results about the Higgs signal detected at the LHC. We investigate the decays of neutral Higgs states into Standard Model (SM) fermions and gauge bosons. We perform full one-loop calculations of the decay widths and include leading higher-order QCD corrections. We first discuss the technical aspects of our approach, before confronting our predictions to those of existing public tools, performing a numerical analysis and discu…
Recently, the LHC collaborations, ATLAS and CMS, have announced an excess in the diphoton channel with local significance of about $3\,σ$ around an invariant mass distribution of $\sim 750$ GeV, after analyzing new data collected at centre-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s} = 13~{\rm TeV}$. We present a possible physical interpretation of such a signature, within the framework of a minimal UV-complete model with a massive singlet pseudo-scalar state $a$ that couples to a new TeV-scale coloured vector-like fermion $F$, whose hypercharge quantum number is a non-zero integer. The pseudo-scalar state $…
Here we study naturalness problem in a type II seesaw model, and show that the Veltman condition modified (mVC) by virtue of the additional scalar charged states is satisfied at one loop within a region of the allowed parameter space of the model. The latter is severely constrained by unitarity and boundedness from below as well as by consistency with the diphoton Higgs decay data of the LHC run 1. In this context, our analysis of the naturalness condition affects dramatically the masses of heavy Higgs bosons $H^0$, $A^0$, $H^\pm$ and $H^{\pm\pm}$, reducing the ranges of variation of $m_{H^\pm…
In the Next-to-Minimal Supersymemtric Standard Model (NMSSM), one of the neutral Higgs scalars (CP-even or CP-odd) may be lighter than half of the SM-like Higgs boson. In this case, the SM-like Higgs boson h can decay into such a light scalar pair and consequently the diphoton and ZZ signal rates at the LHC will be suppressed. In this work, we examine the constraints of the latest LHC Higgs data on such a possibility. We perform a comprehensive scan over the parameter space of the NMSSM by considering various experimental constraints and find that the LHC Higgs data can readily constrain the p…
We propose a next-to-minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) extended by an $\mathbb{A}_{4}\times \boldsymbol{Z}_{3}$ flavor symmetry and three right-handed neutrinos providing a detailed study of the neutrino sector and a solution to the domain wall problem. In this proposal, neutrino masses are generated through Type I seesaw mechanism while the mixing angles are described by the trimaximal mixing realized using the NMSSM singlet S and only two flavon fields. The phenomenology of neutrino parameters is studied for normal and inverted mass hierarchies. In particular, we numerically eval…
We present an $SU(3)^{}_{c}\times SU(2)^{}_{L}\times SU(2)^{}_{R}\times U(1)_{L}^{}\times U(1)_{R}^{}\rightarrow SU(3)^{}_{c}\times SU(2)^{}_{L}\times SU(2)^{}_{R}\times U(1)^{}_{B-L}$ left-right symmetric model with a discrete parity symmetry to realize a universal seesaw scenario. The model can simultaneously solve the strong CP problem without resorting to the unobserved axion and explain the 750 GeV diphoton resonance reported recently by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations at the LHC. Owing to large suppressions in the two-loop induced Dirac mass terms, the Majorana mass matrices of left- an…
The next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) with an extended Higgs sector offers one of the Higgs boson as the Standard model (SM) like Higgs with a mass around 125 GeV along with other Higgs bosons with lighter and heavier masses and not excluded by any current experiments. At the LHC, phenomenology of these non SM like Higgs bosons is very rich and considerably different from the other supersymmetric models. In this work, assuming one of the Higgs bosons to be the SM like, we revisit the mass spectrum and couplings of non SM like Higgs bosons taking into consideration all exist…
We propose a low scale renormalizable left-right symmetric theory that successfully explains the observed SM fermion mass hierarchy, the tiny values for the light active neutrino masses and is consistent with the lepton and baryon asymmetries of the Universe, the muon and electron anomalous magnetic moments as well as the with the constraints arising from the meson oscillations. In the proposed model the top and exotic quarks obtain masses at tree level, whereas the masses of the bottom, charm and strange quarks, tau and muon leptons are generated from a tree level Universal Seesaw mechanism, …
