We propose to accommodate economically the type-II neutrino seesaw mechanism in (G)NMSSM from GMSB and AMSB, respectively. The heavy triplets within neutrino seesaw mechanism are identified to be the messengers. Therefore, the $μ$-problem, the neutrino mass generation, LFV as well the soft SUSY breaking parameters can be economically combined in a non-trivial way. General features of such extensions are discussed. The type-II neutrino seesaw-specific interactions can give additional Yukawa deflection contributions to the soft SUSY breaking parameters of NMSSM, which are indispensable to realize successful EWSB and accommodate the 125 GeV Higgs. Relevant numerical results, including the constraints of dark matter and possible LFV processes $l_i\rightarrow l_j γ$ etc, are also given. We find that our economical type-II neutrino seesaw mechanism extension of NMSSM from AMSB or GMSB can lead to realistic low energy NMSSM spectrum, both admitting the 125 GeV Higgs as the lightest CP-even scalar. The possibility of the 125 GeV Higgs being the next-to-lightest CP-even scalar in GMSB-type scenario is ruled out by the constraints from EWSB, collider and precision measurements. The possibility of the 125 GeV Higgs being the next-to-lightest CP-even scalar in AMSB-type scenario is ruled out by dark matter direct detection experiments. Possible constraints from LFV processes $l_i\rightarrow l_j γ$ can give an upper bound for the messenger scale.
We consider extensions of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric model (NMSSM) in which the observed neutrino masses are described in terms of effective dimension six (or seven) rather than dimension five operators. All such operators respect the discrete symmetries of the model. The new particles associated with the double (or triple) seesaw mechanism can have sizable couplings to the known leptons, even with a TeV seesaw scale. In the latter case some of these new short-lived particles could be produced and detected at the LHC.
We consider extensions of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric model (NMSSM) in which the observed neutrino masses are generated through a TeV scale inverse seesaw mechanism. The new particles associated with this mechanism can have sizable couplings to the Higgs field which can yield a large contribution to the mass of the lightest CP-even Higgs boson. With this new contribution, a 126 GeV Higgs is possible along with order of 200 GeV masses for the stop quarks for a broad range of \tanβ. The Higgs production and decay in the diphoton channel can be enhanced due to this new contribution. It is …
A problem of the gauge-mediated SUSY breaking model is its difficulty to generate a natural value of mu/Bmu, while the NMSSM is a natural framework to solve the mu/Bmu problem. The NMSSM in gauge-mediated SUSY breaking in its original form does not work well since the singlet field cannot develop a desired vacuum expectation value. It also suffers from the cosmological domain wall problem. We study an extension of the model to include additional vector-like matter, which is charged under the hidden QCD. It is shown that this simple extension solves both the problems. We study phenomenological …
The new results on the muon anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) published by Fermilab in 2021, did not lead to a reduction of its long-pending deviation from the Standard Model (SM) value by more than 4$σ$. The explanation of this discrepancy by adding new particles to the theory puts many new physics models under tension when combined with the null results of the LHC direct searches for new particles. In this paper, we investigate the CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the SM (NMSSM) with and without an inverse seesaw mechanism. We compute the one-loop supersymmetric contrib…
In supersymmetric theories like the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM), the lightest neutralino with bino or singlino as its dominant component is customarily taken as dark matter (DM) candidate. Since light Higgsinos favored by naturalness can strength the couplings of the DM and thus enhance the DM-nucleon scattering rate, the tension between naturalness and DM direct detection results becomes more and more acute with the improved experimental sensitivity. In this work, we extend the NMSSM by inverse seesaw mechanism to generate neutrino mass, and show that in certain para…
In this study, we work in the framework of the Next-to-Minimal extension of the Standard Model (NMSSM) extended by six singlet leptonic superfields. Through the mixing with the three doublet leptonic superfields, the non-zero tiny neutrino masses can be generated through the inverse seesaw mechanism. While $R$-parity is conserved in this model lepton number is explicitly violated. We quantify the impact of the extended neutrino sector on the NMSSM Higgs sector by computing the complete one-loop corrections with full momentum dependence to the Higgs boson masses in a mixed on-shell-$\overline{\…
The recently improved observation of the fine structure constant has led to a negative $2.4σ$ anomaly of electron $g-2$. Combined with the long-existing positive $4.2σ$ discrepancy of the muon anomalous magnetic moment, it is interesting and difficult to explain these two anomalies with a consistent model without introducing flavor violations. We show that they can be simultaneously explained in the inverse seesaw extended next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (ISS-NMSSM) by the Higgsino--sneutrino contributions to $(g-2)_e$ and $(g-2)_μ$. The spectrum features prefer light $μ$, which …
We propose a new approach to generate messenger-matter interactions in deflected anomaly mediated SUSY breaking mechanism from typical holomorphic messenger-matter mixing terms in the Kahler potential. This approach is a unique feature of AMSB and has no analog in GMSB-type scenarios. New coupling strengths from the scaling of the (already known) Yukawa couplings always appear in this approach. With messenger-matter interactions in deflected AMSB, we can generate a realistic soft SUSY breaking spectrum for next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model(NMSSM). Successful electroweak symmetry br…
We compute the full next-to-leading order supersymmetric (SUSY) electroweak (EW) and SUSY-QCD corrections to the decays of CP-odd NMSSM Higgs bosons into stop pairs. In our numerical analysis we also present the decay of the heavier stop into the lighter stop and an NMSSM CP-odd Higgs boson. Both the EW and the SUSY-QCD corrections are found to be significant and have to be taken into account for a proper prediction of the decay widths.
The Next-to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) with a Type-I seesaw mechanism extends the NMSSM by three generations of right-handed neutrino fields to generate neutrino mass. As a byproduct it renders the lightest sneutrino as a viable DM candidate. Due to the gauge singlet nature of the DM, its scattering with nucleon is suppressed in most cases to coincide spontaneously with the latest XENON-1T results. Consequently, broad parameter spaces in the Higgs sector, especially a light Higgsino mass, are resurrected as experimentally allowed, which makes the theory well suited to explai…
In the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with the inverse seesaw mechanism to generate neutrino masses, the lightest sneutrino may act as a feasible dark matter candidate in vast parameter space. In this case, the smallness of the leptonic unitarity violation and the recent XENON-1T experiment can limit the dark matter physics. In particular, they set upper bounds of the neutrino Yukawa couplings $λ_ν$ and $Y_ν$. We study such effects by encoding the constraints in a likelihood function and carrying out elaborated scans over the parameter space of the theory with the Nested Samplin…
In this note we briefly review our recent studies on a 125 GeV Higgs and its di-photon signal rate in different low energy supersymmetric models, namely the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM), the nearly minimal supersymmetric standard model (nMSSM) and the constrained MSSM. Our conclusion is: (i) In the allowed parameter space the SM-like Higgs boson can easily be 125 GeV in the MSSM, NMSSM and nMSSM, while it is hard to realize in the constrained MSSM; (ii) The di-photon Higgs signal rate in the nMSSM and constrained MSSM i…
We determine the allowed parameter space and the particle spectra of the minimal SUSY standard model (MSSM) and nonminimal SUSY standard model (NMSSM) imposing correct electroweak gauge-symmetry breaking and recent experimental constraints. The parameters of the models are evolved with the SUSY RGEs assuming universality at the GUT scale. Applying the new unbounded from below (UFB) constraints we can exclude the LSP singlinos and light scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs singlets of the NMSSM. This exclusion removes the experimental possibility to distinguish between the MSSM and NMSSM via the recen…
In the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) with extra heavy neutrino superfields, neutrino may acquire its mass via a seesaw mechanism and sneutrino may act as a viable dark matter (DM) candidate. Given the strong tension between the naturalness for $Z$ boson mass and the DM direct detection experiments for customary neutralino DM candidate, we augment the NMSSM with Type-I seesaw mechanism, which is the simplest extension of the theory to predict neutrino mass, and study the scenarios of sneutrino DM. We construct likelihood function with LHC Higgs data, B-physics measuremen…
Supersymmetry (SUSY) is an attractive extension of the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics which solves the SM hierarchy problem. Motivated by the theoretical $μ$-term problem of the Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM), the Next-to MSSM (NMSSM) can also account for experimental deviations from the SM like the anomalous muon magnetic moment and the dark matter relic density. Natural SUSY, motivated by naturalness considerations, exhibits small fine tuning and a characteristic phenomenology with light higgsinos, stops and gluinos. We describe a scan in NMSSM parameter space motivated by Natu…
The present work investigates the possibility that both dark matter and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon may be explained within the context of the inverse seesaw extended Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (ISS-NMSSM). In ISS-NMSSM, the newly introduced Higgs-neutrino Yukawa coupling $Y_ν$ provides additional Higgsino-sneutrino loop contribution to $(g-2)_μ$. If the deviation between the experimental observations and the Standard Model predictions of the anomalous muon magnetic moment is confirmed by the further experimental and theoretical studies, it can be explained nat…
In the strong Yukawa coupling limit the renormalization of trilinear couplings $A_i(t)$ and combinations of the scalar particle masses $\mathfrak{M}_i^2(t)$ are studied in the framework of the Next--to--Minimal SUSY Model. The dependence of given parameters on their initial values at the Grand Unification scale disappears when the solutions of the renormalization group equations approach the infrared quasi fixed points. Besides that at $\tildeα_{\text{GUT}}\ll Y_i(0)\ll 1$ in the vicinity of quasi fixed points $A_i(t)$ and $\mathfrak{M}_i^2(t)$ concentrated near lines or surfaces in the soft S…
We briefly review the super-natural supersymmetry (SUSY), which provides a most promising solution to the SUSY electroweak fine-tuning problem. In particular, we address its subtle issues as well. Unlike the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard model (MSSM), the Next to MSSM (NMSSM) can be scale invariant and has no mass parameter in its Lagrangian before SUSY and gauge symmetry breakings. Therefore, the NMSSM is a perfect framework for super-natural SUSY. To give the SUSY breaking soft mass to the singlet, we consider the moduli and dilaton dominant SUSY breaking scenarios in M-theory on $S^1/Z_2$…
Motivated by the recent LHC hints of a Higgs boson around 125 GeV, we assume a SM-like Higgs with the mass 123-127 GeV and study its implication in low energy SUSY by comparing the MSSM and NMSSM. We consider various experimental constraints at 2-sigma level (including the muon g-2 and the dark matter relic density) and perform a comprehensive scan over the parameter space of each model. Then in the parameter space which is allowed by current experimental constraints and also predicts a SM-like Higgs in 123-127 GeV, we examine the properties of the sensitive parameters (like the top squark mas…
We investigate the dark matter constraints for the nonminimal SUSY standard model (NMSSM). The cosmologically restricted mass spectra of the NMSSM are compared to the minimal SUSY standard model (MSSM). The differences of the two models concerning the neutralino, sfermion and Higgs sector are discussed. The dark matter condition leads to cosmologically allowed mass ranges for the SUSY particles in the NMSSM: m_{\tildeχ^0_1} < 300 GeV, m_{\tilde{e}_R} < 300 GeV, 300 GeV < m_{\tilde{u}_R} < 1900 GeV, 200 GeV < m_{\tilde{t}_1} < 1500 GeV, 350 GeV < m_{\tilde{g}} < 2100 GeV and for the mass of the…
We study the fine tuning in the parameter space of the semi-constrained NMSSM, where most soft Susy breaking parameters are universal at the GUT scale. We discuss the dependence of the fine tuning on the soft Susy breaking parameters M_1/2 and m0, and on the Higgs masses in NMSSM specific scenarios involving large singlet-doublet Higgs mixing or dominant Higgs-to-Higgs decays. Whereas these latter scenarios allow a priori for considerably less fine tuning than the constrained MSSM, the early LHC results rule out a large part of the parameter space of the semi-constrained NMSSM corresponding to…
We present the program package NMSSMCALC for the calculation of the loop-corrected NMSSM Higgs boson masses and decay widths in the CP-conserving and CP-violating NMSSM. The full one-loop corrections to the Higgs boson masses are evaluated in a mixed renormalisation scheme of on-shell and $\overline{\mbox{DR}}$ conditions. The Higgs decay widths include the dominant higher order QCD corrections, and the decays into bottom quarks, strange quarks and tau leptons are supplemented by higher order SUSY corrections through effective couplings. All relevant off-shell decays into two massive gauge bos…
We examine the Higgs triple coupling in MSSM and NMSSM under current constraints, which include the LHC measurements, Higgs data, B physics, electroweak precision observables, relic density and so on. The ratio $λ^{\rm MSSM}_{hhh}/λ^{\rm SM}_{hhh}$ is above 0.97, due to the highly constrained parameter space. While the ratio $λ^{\rm NMSSM}_{hhh}/λ^{\rm SM}_{hhh}$ can reach 0.1 under current constraints. The precise measurement in future collider will give a tighter constraint to the Higgs triple coupling in MSSM and NMSSM.
We consider the current experimental constraints on the parameter space of the MSSM and NMSSM. Then in the allowed parameter space we examine the Higgs pair production at the 14 TeV LHC via $b\bar{b}\to hh$ ($h$ is the 125 GeV SM-like Higg boson) with one-loop SUSY QCD correction and compare it with the production via $gg\to hh$. We obtain the following observations: (i) For the MSSM the production rate of $b\bar{b} \to hh$ can reach 50 fb and thus can be competitive with $gg \to hh$, while for the NMSSM $b\bar{b} \to hh$ has a much smaller rate than $gg \to hh$ due to the suppression of the $…
An interesting feature of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) is that one or more Higgs bosons may be comparably light (M_{H_i}<M_Z) without being in conflict with current experimental bounds. Due to a large singlet component, their direct production in standard channels at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is suppressed. We demonstrate that there are good prospects for observing such a light Higgs boson in decays of heavy neutralinos and charginos. We consider an example scenario with 20 GeV < M_{H_1} < M_Z and show that a large fraction of the cascade decays of gluinos an…
We evaluate the full next-to-leading order supersymmetric (SUSY) electroweak and SUSY-QCD corrections to the on-shell two-body decays of the charged Higgs bosons in the framework of the CP-conserving and CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (NMSSM). Our corrections are implemented in the code NMSSMCALCEW in order to compute the branching ratios of the charged Higgs boson where we also take into account the state-of-the-art QCD corrections already included in the code. We investigate the impact of the NLO corrections for each decay mode in a wide range of …
In this letter we study the Higgs mass in the NMSSM with supersymmetry breaking at high scales $M_{SS}$. With the Standard Model as the effective low energy theory, the computation of the Higgs mass relies on the matching condition of the quartic coupling $λ$ at $M_{SS}$. In the MSSM, the latter is fixed to a semi-positive value and, thus, sets an upper bound on the SUSY-breaking scale near $M_{SS}\simeq 10^{10}\text{GeV}$. In the NMSSM, $λ(M_{SS})$ receives an additional contribution induced by the singlet which allows for negative values of $λ(M_{SS})$. In turn, for the measured value of the…
As a most natural realization of the Next-to Minimal Supersymmetry Standard Model (NMSSM), λ-SUSY is parameterized by a large λ around one and a low tan$β$ below 10. In this work, we first scan the parameter space of λ-SUSY by considering various experimental constraints, including the limitation from the Higgs data updated by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations in the summer of 2014, then we study the properties of the Higgs bosons. We get two characteristic features of λ-SUSY in experimentally allowed parameter space. One is the triple self coupling of the SM-like Higgs boson may get enhanced b…
We present the full next-to-leading order (NLO) supersymmetric (SUSY) electroweak and SUSY-QCD corrections to the decay widths of the charged Higgs boson decays into on-shell final states in the framework of the CP-conserving and CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Model (NMSSM). The newly calculated corrections have been implemented in the code NMSSMCALCEW. In these proceedings, we discuss the impact of the NLO corrections on the charged Higgs boson branching ratios in a wide range of the parameter space that is still compatible with the experimental constraints. We also investigate t…
There is a possible γ-ray signal at 130 GeV coming from the Galactic Center as seen by Fermi-LAT experiment. We give a SUSY dark matter model to explain this γ-ray feature in NMSSM. We show that in NMSSM, one can have a benchmark set in which the γ-ray signal arises from final state γ's in the $χχ\to f \bar f γ$ annihilation of a 130 GeV bino dark matter requiring a boost factor of ~590 to fit the γ-ray signal. In addition, this benchmark set also gives the correct relic density, lightest Higgs mass of 125 GeV and is consistent with constraints on SUSY from LHC. This dark matter model evades t…
Here we study and compare the sensitivity to the Higgs sector of the SUSY-seesaw models via the LFV tau decays: tau-> 3 mu, tau->K^{+}K^{-}, tau->mu eta and tau-> mu f_{0}. We emphasize that, at present, the two later channels are the most efficient ones to test indirectly the Higgs particles.
We discuss a GUT realization of the supersymmetric triplet seesaw mechanism(recently proposed by us in hep-ph/0604083 and further analyzed in hep-ph/0607298) where the exchange of the heavy triplet states generates both neutrino masses and soft SUSY breaking terms.
We study constraints on the fundamental parameters of supersymmetric type I seesaw models imposed by neutrino data, charged lepton flavor violation, thermal leptogenesis and perturbativity of the neutrino Yukawa couplings.
NMSPEC is a Fortran code that computes the sparticle and Higgs masses, as well as Higgs decay widths and couplings in the NMSSM, with soft SUSY breaking terms specified at MGUT. Exceptions are the soft singlet mass m_s^2 and the singlet self coupling kappa, that are both determined in terms of the other parameters through the minimization equations of the Higgs potential. We present a first analysis of the NMSSM parameter space with universal SUSY breaking terms at MGUT -- except for m_s and A_kappa -- that passes present experimental constraints on sparticle and Higgs masses. We discuss in so…
After a quarter of century of intense search for new physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), two ideas stand out to naturally cope with (i) small neutrino masses and (ii) a light higgs boson : Seesaw and SUSY. The combination of these two ideas, i.e. SUSY seesaw exhibits a potentially striking signature: a strong (or even very strong) enhancement of lepton flavour violation (LFV), which on the contrary remains unobservable in the SM seesaw. Indeed, even when supersymmetry breaking is completely flavour blind, Renormalisation Group running effects are expected to generate large lepton flavour v…
We study the constraints on a minimal supersymmetric seesaw model imposed by neutrino data, charged lepton flavor violation, thermal leptogenesis and perturbativity. We show that it is possible to constrain the three heavy Majorana neutrino masses as well as the complex Yukawa coupling matrix. Our results provide a first step towards a seesaw benchmark model for further phenomenological studies and model building.
We propose a new framework for the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) in gauge mediation, where in general the correct electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) is difficult to be explained. The difficulty is caused by the absence of a soft supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking mass for the NMSSM singlet S. In our framework, S is a meson in a hidden QCD. This QCD is responsible for the dynamical SUSY breaking, forming S, and the soft SUSY breaking mass for S, which is a key to explain the correct EWSB: all the ingredients for successful phenomenology originate from the common dynamics. F…
In this contribution we outline the correlation between intergenerational slepton mass splittings and low energy lepton flavour violation in supersymmetric type-I and type-III seesaws, and illustrate how the combination of these two sets of observables could strengthen or disfavour a high-scale seesaw as the explanation of neutrino masses and mixings. This contribution summarises part of the analysis presented in arXiv:1007.4833 and arXiv:1104.3962.
Here we review the main results of LFV in the semileptonic tau decays $τ\to μPP$ ($PP = π^+ π^-, π^0 π^0, K^+ K^-, K^0 \bar{K}^0$), $τ\to μP$ ($P = π, η, η^{\prime}$), and $τ\to μV$ ($V = ρ, ϕ$) as well as in $μ-e$ conversion in nuclei within SUSY-seesaw scenarios, and compare our predictions with the present experimental bounds
Since no direct signs of new physics have been observed so far indirect searches in the Higgs sector have become increasingly important. With the discovered Higgs boson behaving very Standard Model (SM)-like, however, indirect new physics manifestations are in general expected to be small. On the theory side, this makes precision predictions for the Higgs parameters and observables indispensable. In this paper, we provide in the framework of the CP-violating Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the SM (NMSSM) the complete next-to-leading order (SUSY-)electroweak corrections to the neutr…
Motivated by the recent supersymmetry (SUSY) search results which prefer most SUSY particles heavy, and muon g-2 anomaly which prefers colorless SUSY particles light, we explore the status of a light smuon (the SUSY partner of left-handed muon lepton) in the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM). Assuming colored SUSY particles be heavy, and considering numerous experimental constraints including muon g-2, SUSY searches, and dark matter, we scan the parameter space in the NMSSM with Z3-symmetry, checking the status of colorless SUSY particles and their possible mass order, and …
We propose to generate a realistic soft SUSY breaking spectrum for Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) with a generalized deflected mirage mediation scenario, in which additional Yukawa and gauge mediation contributions are included to deflect the renormalization group equation(RGE) trajectory. Based on the Wilsonian effective action obtained by integrating out the messengers, the NMSSM soft SUSY breaking spectrum can be given analytically at the messenger scale. We find that additional contributions to $m_S^2$ can possibly ameliorate the stringent constraints from the electr…
Here we update the predictions for lepton flavour violating tau and muon decays, $l_j \to l_i γ$, $l_j \to 3 l_i$, and $μ-e$ conversion in nuclei. We work within a SUSY-seesaw context where the particle content of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is extended by three right handed neutrinos plus their corresponding SUSY partners, and where a seesaw mechanism for neutrino mass generation is implemented. Two different scenarios with either universal or non-universal soft supersymmetry breaking Higgs masses at the gauge coupling unification scale are considered. After comparing the predic…
Realistic predictions are made for lepton flavour violating and flavour changing neutral current decays in the large tan beta regime of a SUSY-seesaw model. Lepton flavour violating neutral Higgs decays are discussed within this framework along with the highly constraining charged lepton decays l_i --> l_j + gamma. In the b-s system the important constraint from b --> s + gamma is studied in conjunction with the rare FCNC Bs --> mu mu (tau mu) decays and the recently measured Delta Ms.
Motivated by the ATLAS and CMS discovery of a Higgs-like boson with a mass around 125 GeV, and by the need of explaining neutrino masses, we analyse the three canonical SUSY versions of the seesaw mechanism (type I, II and III) with CMSSM boundary conditions. In type II and III cases, SUSY particles are lighter than in the CMSSM (or the constrained type I seesaw), for the same set of input parameters at the universality scale. Thus, to explain $m_{h^0} \simeq 125 GeV$ at low energies, one is forced into regions of parameter space with very large values of $m_0$, $M_{1/2}$ or $A_0$. We compare …
Thermal leptogenesis in the canonical seesaw model in supersymmetry suffers from the incompatibility of a generic lower bound on the mass scale of the lightest right-handed neutrino and the upper bound on the reheating temperature of the Universe after inflation. This is resolved by adding an extra singlet superfield, with a discrete $Z_2$ symmetry, to the NMSSM (Next to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model). This generic mechanism is applicable to any supersymmetric model for lowering the scale of leptogenesis.
We address the constraints on the SUSY seesaw parameters arising from Lepton Flavour Violation observables. Working in the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model extended by three right-handed (s)neutrinos, we study the predictions for the branching ratios of $l_j \to l_i γ$ and $l_j \to 3 l_i$ channels. We impose compatibility with neutrino data, electric dipole moment bounds, and further require a successful baryon asymmetry of the Universe (via thermal leptogenesis). We emphasise the interesting interplay between $θ_{13}$ and the LFV muon decays, pointing out the hints on the SUS…
We revisit the standard argument to estimate the scale of new physics (NP) beyond the SM, based on the sensitivity of the Higgs mass to quadratic divergences. Although this argument is arguably naive, the corresponding estimate, Lambda_SM < 2-3 TeV, works reasonably well in most cases and should be considered a conservative bound, as it ignores other contributions to the Higgs mass which are potentially large. Besides, the possibility of an accidental Veltman-like cancellation does not raise significantly Lambda_SM. One can obtain more precise implications from fine-tuning arguments in specifi…
Superconformal anomalies provide an elegant and economical way to understand the soft breaking parameters in SUSY models; however, implementing them leads to the several undesirable features including: tachyonic sleptons and electroweak symmetry breaking problems in both the MSSM and the NMSSM. Since these two theories also have the additonal problem of massless neutrinos, we have reconsidered the AMSB problems in a class of models that extends the NMSSM to explain small neutrino masses via the seesaw mechanism. In a recent paper, we showed that for a class of minimal left-right extensions, a …
It is demonstrated that the light Higgs boson scenario, which the lightest Higgs mass is less than the LEP bound, mh > 114.4 GeV, is consistent with the SUSY seesaw model. With the assumptions of the universal right-handed neutrino mass and the hierarchical mass spectrum of the ordinary neutrinos, the bounds for the right-handed neutrino mass is investigated in terms of lepton flavor violating charged lepton decays. We also discuss the effect of the modification of renormalization group equations by the right-handed neutrinos on the b to s gamma process and the relic abundance of dark matter i…
We present an update of previous work on charged lepton flavor violation (LFV) in the seesaw model. The most recent neutrino data fits and post WMAP mSUGRA benchmark scenarios are used as input. In this framework we compare the sensitivity of rare radiative decays on the right-handed Majorana mass scale M_R with the reach in slepton-pair production at a future linear collider.
Radiatively generated neutrino masses ($m_ν$) are proportional to supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking, as a result of the SUSY non-renormalisation theorem. In this work, we investigate the space of SUSY radiative seesaw models with regard to their dependence on SUSY breaking ($\require{cancel}\cancel{\text{SUSY}}$). In addition to contributions from sources of $\cancel{\text{SUSY}}$ that are involved in electroweak symmetry breaking ($\cancel{\text{SUSY}}_\text{EWSB}$ contributions), and which are manifest from $\langle F^\dagger_H \rangle = μ\langle \bar H \rangle \neq 0$ and $\langle D \rangle = g…
We present the first complete calculation of flavour violating lepton decays taking into account all supersymmetric (SUSY) and non-SUSY contributions in the context of the supersymmetric inverse seesaw, a specific SUSY low-scale seesaw model. We consider radiative and 3-body lepton decays as well as neutrinoless $μ-e$ conversion in muonic atoms and perform a full one-loop calculation in the mass basis. Taking CMSSM-like boundary conditions for the soft SUSY breaking parameters, we find that cancellations between different contributions are present in several regions, which might reduce the bra…
The natural supersymmetry (SUSY) requires that stop, sbottom, and gluino be around one TeV or lighter. By using the direct SUSY search bounds from both ATLAS and CMS Collaborations, we examine the constraints on the natural SUSY in the Next to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM). We consider two cases of interpretations for the Higgs boson data: (1) the Standard Model (SM) like Higgs boson is the lightest CP-even Higgs boson; (2) the SM like Higgs boson is the second lightest CP-even Higgs boson. We find that the direct SUSY searches at the LHC impose a strong constraint on the light…
In supersymmetric (SUSY) extensions of the seesaw mechanism the neutrino Yukawa interaction induces the flavor and CP violating sfermion mass terms via the radiative correction. In this article we review the CP violating phenomena in the SUSY seesaw models.
In these proceedings we present the results for lepton flavour violating tau and muon decays within the SUSY seesaw scenario. Specifically, we consider the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model extended by three right handed neutrinos, $ν_{R_i}$ and their corresponding SUSY partners, ${\tilde ν}_{R_i}$, ($i=1,2,3$), and use the seesaw mechanism for neutrino mass generation. We include the predictions for the branching ratios of two types of lepton flavour violating channels, $l_j \to ł_i γ$ and $l_j \to 3 l_i$, and compare them with the present bounds and future experimental sensit…
The Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) provides a natural framework to realize a low-scale supersymmetric (SUSY) model, where a singlet superfield is added to the minimal model to generate a SUSY-scale higgsino mass term with its vacuum expectation value. Due to the presence of the extra singlet field, the vacuum conditions to realize the correct electroweak symmetry-breaking become fairly restrictive especially if we impose universality conditions at the unification scale. In this paper, we show that a non-universal gaugino mass spectrum can significantly relax this restric…
