The strong decays of the low-lying $λ$-mode $Λ_b(1D,2S)$ and $Σ_b(2S)$ states are studied in a chiral quark model. We find that: (i) the newly observed $Λ_b(6146/6152)$ resonances in the $Λ_bπ^+π^-$ spectrum by the LHCb Collaboration might be explained with the $λ$-mode $Λ_b(1D)$ states in the quark model. It should be emphasized that whether the structure in the $Λ_bπ^+π^-$ spectrum correspond to two states or one state should be further clarified with more observations in future experiments. (ii) The $Λ_b(2S)$ $|J^P = \frac{1}{2}^+,0\rangle$ state mainly decays into $Σ_b^*π$ channel, which may be an ideal channel for searching for this $Λ_b(2S)$ state in future experiments. (iii) The $Σ_b(2S)$ $|J^P = \frac{1}{2}^+,1 \rangle$ and $|J^P = \frac{3}{2}^+,1 \rangle$ dominantly decay into $Λ_bπ$ with $Γ\simeq 3.82$ MeV and $Γ\simeq 4.72$ MeV, respectively.
Inspired by the newly observed $Ω(2012)$ state at Belle II, we investigate the two-body strong decays of $Ω$ baryons up to $N=2$ shell within the chiral quark model. Our results indicate that: (i) the newly observed $Ω(2012)$ state could be assigned to the spin-parity $J^P=3/2^-$ state $|70,^210,1,1,\frac{3}{2}^-\rangle$ and the experimental data can be reasonably described. However, the spin-parity $J^P=1/2^-$ state $|70,^210,1,1,\frac{1}{2}^-\rangle$ and spin-parity $J^P=3/2^+$ state $|56,^410,2,0,\frac{3}{2}^+\rangle$ can't be completely excluded. (ii) The $D$-wave states in the $N=2$ shell…
Inspired by the newly observed $Ω_b$ states by the LHCb Collaboration, we investigate the two-body strong decays of the low-lying $λ$-mode $Ω_b$ baryons up to $N=2$ shell using the chiral quark model within the $j$-$j$ coupling scheme. Our results indicate that: (i) the newly observed states $Ω_b(6316)^-$ and $Ω_b(6330)^-$ are good candidates of the light spin $j=1$ states, while the spin-parity $J^P=1/2^-$ and $J^P=3/2^-$ cannot be distinguished. The other two states, $Ω_b(6340)$ and $Ω_b(6350)$ mostly correspond to the light spin $j=2$ states, while the spin-parity $J^P=3/2^-$ and $J^P=5/2^-…
Recently, Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration firstly reported a new resonance $ωχ_{bJ}$ in the processes of $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow ωχ_{bJ}$ at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=10.745$ GeV. Given the Born cross section similar with the previously reported $Υ(10753)$, the new resonance $ωχ_{bJ}$ may have be $Υ(10753)$. From the perspectives of traditional $Υ(nS)$ meson and exotic tetraquark $b\bar{q}q\bar{b}$ state with the $J^{PC}$ = $1^{--}$, we tentatively investigate the $Υ(10753)$ by solving Schrödinger equation in the framework of the chiral quark model. Numerical …
The strong decays of the $P$-wave $Σ_b$, $Ξ_b'$ and $Ω_b$ baryons are investigated with a constituent quark model in the $j$-$j$ coupling scheme. The results show that the newly observed $Σ_b(6097)$ and $Ξ_b(6227)$ states by the LHCb collaboration can be assigned as the $λ$-mode $P$-wave singly bottom baryons. Given the heavy quark symmetry, both the $Σ_b(6097)$ and $Ξ_b(6227)$ states favor the light spin $j=2$ states with spin-parity numbers $J^P=3/2^-$ or $J^P=5/2^-$. More $P$-wave singly bottom baryons are most likely to be observed in future experiments for their relatively narrow width.
Very recently Belle Collaboration reported observation of a narrow state called $Ω(2012)$ with mass $2012.4 \pm 0.7$~(stat)~$\pm 0.6$(syst)~MeV and width $6.4^{+2.5}_{-2.0}$~(stat)~$\pm 1.6$~(syst)~MeV. We calculate the mass and residue of $Ω(2012)$ state by employing the QCD sum rule method. Comparison of the obtained results with the experimental data allows us to interpret this state as $1P$ orbital excitation of the ground state $Ω$ baryon, i.e. with quantum numbers $J^P=\frac{3}{2}^-$.
Parametrizing the possible underlying theory or new physics' decoupling effects in the most general way we reexamined the validity of canonical trace relation and chiral symmetry in certain one-loop two-point functions. The anomalies and the relation between chiral and trace Ward identities are investigated and interpreted in the perspective of a complete underlying theory or new physics instead of regularization, with some new phenomena found as by-products.
We study the charmed and bottomed doubly strange baryons within the heavy-quark-light-diquark framework. The two strange quarks are assumed to lie in $S$ wave and thus their total spin is 1. We calculate the mass spectra of the $S$ and $P$ wave orbitally excited states and find the $Ω_c^0 (2695)$ and $Ω_c^0 (2770)$ fit well as the $S$ wave states of charmed doubly strange baryons. The five newly $Ω_c^0(X)$ resonances observed by the LHCb Collaboration, i.e. $Ω_c^0(3000)$, $Ω_c^0(3050)$, $Ω_c^0(3066)$, $Ω_c^0(3090)$, and $Ω_c^0(3119)$, can be interpreted as the $P$ wave orbitally excited states…
Stimulated by the newly observed $Λ_b(6146)^0$ and $Λ_b(6152)^0$ resonances, we investigate the strong decays of the low-lying singly bottom baryons within the quark pair creation model. Considering their masses and decay modes, we tentatively assign these states as the $λ-$ mode $Λ_b(2S)$, $Λ_b(1D)$, $Σ_b(2S)$, and $Σ_b(1P)$ states, and then estimate their strong decay widths. Compared with the experimental total widths and decay modes measured by the LHCb Collaboration, the $Λ_b(6146)^0$ and $Λ_b(6152)^0$ can be reasonably clarified into the $J^P=5/2^+$ and $J^P=3/2^+$ $Λ_b(1D)$ sates respec…
Motivated by the two charged bottomonium-like resonances $Z_b$(10610) and $Z_b$(10650) newly observed by the Belle collaboration, the possible molecular states composed of a pair of heavy mesons, $B\bar{B}, B\bar{B}^*, B^*\bar{B}^*, B_s\bar{B}$, etc (in S-wave), are investigated in the framework of chiral quark models by the Gaussian expansion method. The bound states $B\bar{B}^*$ and $B^*\bar{B}^*$ with quantum numbers $I(J^{PC})=1(1^{+-})$, which are good candidates for the $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ respectively, are obtained. Other three bound states $B\bar{B}^*$ with $I(J^{PC})=0(1^{++…
Inspired by the newly observed $Z_{cs}^-(3985)$ by BESIII collaboration, we study the structure of this particle in the picture of $D_s^{(*)-}D^{(*)0}$ molecular state. Firstly we systematically construct the Lagrangians which describing the interaction of charmed mesons, taking into account the chiral and hidden local symmetries. With the obtained effective potentials from the Lagrangians constructed, we solve the coupled channel Bethe-Salpeter equation with the on-shell approximation. On the third Reimann sheet, a pole position of around $3982.34-i0.53$ MeV is obtained, which can be associat…
The newly confirmed pentaquark state $P_c(4312)$ has been treated as a weakly bound $(Σ_c\bar{D})$ state by a well-established chiral constituent quark model and by a dynamical calculation on quark degrees of freedom where the quark exchange effect is accounted for. The obtained mass $4308$ MeV agrees with data. In this work, the selected strong decays of the $P_c(4312)$ state are studied with the obtained wave function. It is shown that the width of the $Λ_c\bar{D}^*$ decay is overwhelmed and the branching ratios of the $p\,η_c$ and $p\,J/ψ$ decays are both less than 1 percentage.
Recently, the BES collaboration observed a broad resonant structure X(1576) with a large width being around 800 MeV and assigned its $J^{PC}$ number to $1^{--}$. We show that the isospin of this resonant structure should be assigned to 1. This state might be a molecule state or a tetraquark state. We study the consequences of a possible $K^*(892)$-${\bar κ}$ molecular interpretation. In this scenario, the broad width can easily be understood. By using the data of $B(J/ψ\to Xπ^0)\cdot B(X\to K^+K^-)$, the branching ratios $B(J/ψ\to Xπ^0)\cdot B(X\to π^+π^-)$ and $B(J/ψ\to Xπ^0)\cdot B(X\to K^+K…
The developments in the experimental facilities and analyses techniques have recently lead to the observation of many hadronic states ranging from excitations of conventional hadrons to various exotic states. The baryons with single heavy quark are among these states providing an attractive field of research to get a better understanding of the nonperturbative nature of the strong interaction. Recently, the Belle Collaboration announced observation of the state $Λ_c(2910)^+$ with a mass $2913.8\pm5.6\pm3.8~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$ and width $51.8\pm20.0\pm18.8~\mathrm{MeV}$. In the present study, by …
Motivated by the newly observed resonance $X(2600)$ by BESIII Collaboration, we examine the trigluon glueball interpretation for it in the framework of QCD sum rules. We evaluate the mass spectra of the trigluon glueballs with quantum numbers $0^{-+}$ and $2^{-+}$ up to dimension 8 condensate in the operator product expansion. Our numerical results indicate that the mass of the $2^{-+}$ trigluon glueball is about $2.66\pm 0.06$ GeV, which is consistent with the mass of the X(2600) within the uncertainties, while $0^{-+}$ has a mass of $2.01\pm0.14$ GeV. The possible decay channels of the $2^{-…
Using the chirally invariant overlap Dirac operator we remove its lowest-lying quasizero modes from the valence quark propagators and study evolution of isovector mesons with J=1. At the truncation level about 50 MeV SU(2)_L \times SU(2)_R and U(1)_A symmetries get restored. However, we observe a degeneracy not only within the chiral and U(1)_A multiplets, but also a degeneracy of all possible chiral multiplets, i.e., the observed quantum levels have a symmetry larger than U(2)_L \times U(2)_R and their energy does not depend on the spin orientation of quarks and their parities. We offer a pos…
We study radial excitations of pseudoscalar and vector (q bar q) mesons within a chiral approach. We derive a general form for a chiral Lagrangian describing processes involving excited pseudoscalar and vector mesons. The parameters of the chiral Lagrangian are fitted using data and previous calculations in the framework of the 3P0 model. Finite-width effects are examined and predictions for mesons previously not discussed are given. Available experimental data is analyzed whenever possible. Possible hints for exotic mesons and open interpretation-issues are discussed.
In relation to the newly observed bottom-strange X^{+,-}(5568) mesons, we revisit our tetra-quark interpretation of X(3872) and Z_c(3900). It is discussed that our assignment of X^{+,-}(5568) to charged components of iso-triplet bottom partners of D_{s0}^+(2317) is compatible with the revised version of our tetra-quark interpretation of X(3872) and Z_c(3900).

Three neutral resonances $Ξ_c(2923)^0$, $Ξ_c(2939)^0$ and $Ξ_c(2965)^0$ have been observed in the $Λ_c^+ K^-$ mass spectrum by the LHCb Collaboration. Given the $Ξ_c$ and $Ξ_c^\prime$ mass spectra predicted by the constituent quark models, these three resonances are tentatively treated as the $λ-$mode $Ξ_c(2S)$, $Ξ_c^\prime(2S)$, $Ξ_c^{\prime *}(2S)$, and $Ξ_c^\prime(1P)$ states, and their strong decay behaviors are calculated within the $^3P_0$ model. Our results indicate that the $Ξ_c(2923)^0$ and $Ξ_c(2939)^0$ can be clarified into the $J^P=3/2^-$ and $5/2^-$ $Ξ_c^\prime(1P)$ states respect…
In this talk I discuss the interpretation of LHC Higgs measurements within the electroweak chiral Lagrangian, paying particular attention to the role of power counting.
We discuss possible interpretation of five excited $Ω^0_c$ states within the Chrial Quark Soliton Model. We show that it is not possible to interpret all five $Ω^0_c$'s as parity minus excitations and argue that two narrowest states are pentaquarks belonging to the SU(3) representation $\overline{15}$.
Inspired by the newly observed $Ξ_c^0$ states by the LHCb Collaboration, we investigate the OZI-allowed two-body strong decays of the $λ$-mode $1P$ wave $Ξ'_c$ states within the chiral quark model. Our results indicate that: (i) the newly observed states $Ξ_c(2923)^0$ and $Ξ_c(2939)^0$ are good candidates of the $λ$-mode $1P$ wave $Ξ'_c$ states with the spin-parity $J^P=3/2^-$, namely $|^4P_λ3/2^-\rangle$ and $|^2P_λ3/2^-\rangle$, respectively. (ii) The another newly observed state $Ξ_c(2965)^0$ mostly corresponds to the $λ$-mode $1P$-wave $Ξ'_c$ state with the spin-parity $J^P=5/2^-$, namely …
The analytical forms of the interaction potentials between one S-wave and one P-wave heavy mesons as well as the potentials between two P-wave heavy mesons are deduced based on a chiral quark model. Our results explicitly show the attractive property between two heavy mesons. Consequently, a series of possible molecular states are obtained. It is expected that our study might shed some light on the popular discussions of the newly observed XYZ states.
Recently, Belle Collaboration reported a new exotic state $Y(4620)$ with mass at 4625.9 MeV in the positronium annihilation process. Inspired by experiment, we study the tetraquark system $c\bar{s}s\bar{c}$ with quantum numbers $J^{P}=1^{-}$ in the framework of chiral constituent quark model with the help of Gaussian expansion method. Two structures, diquark-antidiquark and meson-meson, with all possible color and spin configurations are considered. The result shows that no bound state can be formed. To investigate the possible resonance states, the real scaling method is employed. Several res…
Motivated by the very recent discovery of the strange hidden-charm exotic state $Z_{cs}(3985)$ by the BESIII Collaboration, we study possible interpretation of this exotic state both at $ T= 0 $ and $ T\neq 0 $. We analytically compute the mass and meson-current coupling constant of this resonance with spin-parity $ J^{PC} = 1^{+-}$ at finite temperature approximation up to sixth order of the thermal operator dimension including non-perturbative contributions. Extracting thermal mass and meson-current coupling constant sum rules, the modifications on properties of $Z_{cs}(3985)$ state in hot m…
We find that the chiral phase transition (chiral crossover) in QCD at physical point is triggered by big imbalance among three fundamental quantities essential for the QCD vacuum structure: susceptibility functions for the chiral symmetry, axial symmetry, and the topological charge. The balance, dobbed the QCD trilemma, is unavoidably violated when one of the magnitudes among them is highly dominated, or suppressed. Based on a three-flavor Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model, we explicitly evaluate the amount of violation of the QCD trilemma at physical point, and show that the violation takes place not …
Stimulated by the newly observed charged hidden-charm state $Z_{cs}(3985)^-$ by BESIII Collaboration, $Z_{cs}(4000)^+$, $Z_{cs}(4220)^+$ and the excited $B_s^0$ states by LHCb Collaboration, a full calculation including masses and decay widths is emerged in the chiral quark model. For $Z_{cs}$ states, we assign quantum numbers $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(1^+)$ and quark composition $c\bar{c}s\bar{u}$ according to the experiment. For $B_s^0$ states, systematically investigations are performed with $I(J^P)=0(0^+), 0(1^+), 0(2^+)$ both in 2-body $b\bar{s}$ and 4-body $b\bar{s}q\bar{q}~(q=u~\rm{or}~d)$ sy…
We discuss a possible interpretation for the pentaquark baryon $Θ^+$ which has an exotic quantum number of strangeness $S = +1$. The role of the pion which modifies the structure of single-particle levels of quarks is examined. When the pion field is sufficiently strong, the ground state of five quarks for $Θ^+$ acquires positive parity. If this is the case, an excited state may appear slightly above the ground state with negative parity.
We investigate parity-violating electroweak asymmetries in the elastic scattering of polarized electrons off protons within the framework of the chiral quark-soliton model ($χ$QSM). We use as input the former results of the electromagnetic and strange form factors and newly calculated SU(3) axial-vector form factors, all evaluated with the same set of four parameters adjusted several years ago to general mesonic and baryonic properties. Based on this scheme, which yields positive electric and magnetic strange form factors with a $μ_s=(0.08-0.13)μ_N$, we determine the parity-violating asymmetri…
I present results of a heavy hadron chiral perturbation theory analysis of the decays and masses of the recently discovered excited charm mesons. The present data on the electromagnetic branching ratios are consistent with heavy quark symmetry predictions and disfavor a molecular interpretation of these states. I also discuss model independent predictions for the strong decays of pentaquarks in the 10-bar representation of SU(3) which can be used to constrain the angular momentum and parity quantum numbers of these states.
The experimental status of the recently observed resonances which could be interpreted as c$\bar q$ mesons with s$_l^P={1/2}^+$ is reviewed. In the framework of HQET and chiral perturbation theory, strong and radiative widths of these states are computed in the hypothesis that they are c$\bar q$ states, obtaining results consistent with the experimental measurements. Masses and widths for the analogous states containing a beauty quark are also predicted.
In this work, we study the masses of $Qq\bar Q\bar q'$ states with J^{PC}=0^{++}, 1^{++}, 1^{+-} and 2^{++} in the chiral SU(3) quark model, where Q is the heavy quark (c or b) and q (q') is the light quark (u, d or s). According to our numerical results, it is improbable to make the interpretation of $[cn\bar c\bar n]_{1^{++}}$ and $[cn\bar c\bar n]_{2^{++}}$ (n=u, d) states as X(3872) and Y(3940), respectively. However, it is interesting to find the tetraquarks in the $bq\bar b\bar q'$ system.
We discuss the mass spectrum of highly-excited nucleon and $Δ^*$ resonances. The spectrum exhibits parity doublets, pairs of resonances of identical total angular momentum J but of opposite parity. It has been proposed that the parity doublets evidence restoration of chiral symmetry at large baryon excitation energies. We compare this conjecture with the possibility that high-mass states are organized into $(L,S)$-multiplets with defined intrinsic quark spins and orbital angular momenta. Indeed, the latter interpretation results in a better description of the data. There is however a small and…
The electromagnetic form factors are the most fundamental quantities to describe the internal structure of the nucleon and the shape of a spatially extended particle is determined by its intrinsic quadrupole moment which can be related to the charge radii. We have calculated the electromagnetic form factors, nucleon charge radii and the intrinsic quadrupole moment of the nucleon in the framework of chiral constituent quark model. The results obtained are comparable to the latest experimental studies and also show improvement over some theoretical interpretations.
Recently, a hadronic state named $η_1(1855)$, about 1.86 GeV, was observed in the BESIII experiment. This finding has a peculiar interest due to its exotic quantum number $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$. In this paper, we examine the tetraquark interpretation for the structure of $η_1(1855)$ in the configurations of $[1_c]_{\bar{s}s}\otimes[1_c]_{\bar{q}q}$ and $[1_c]_{\bar{s}q}\otimes[1_c]_{\bar{s}q}$, and perform a mass spectrum calculation in the framework of QCD sum rules. The results show that the observed $η_1(1855)$ could be embedded into the $[1_c]_{\bar{s}s}\otimes[1_c]_{\bar{q}q}$ configuration. The…
We present a new picture of global symmetry breaking in quantum field theory and propose a novel realization of symmetry breaking phenomena in terms of the conserved charge associated with its symmetry. In particular, the fermion condensate of the vacuum state is examined when the spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking takes place. It is shown that the fermion condensate of the vacuum vanishes if the system is solved exactly, and therefore we cannot make use of the Goldstone theorem. As a perfect example, we present the Bethe ansatz vacuum of the Thirring model which shows the spontaneous chiral…
Comparing the measured properties of the newly observed open-charm states D(2550), D(2600), D(2750), D(2760), D_{s1}(2710), D_{sJ}(2860), and D_{sJ}(3040) with our predicted spectroscopy and strong decays in a constituent quark model, we find that: (1) the $D(2\,^1S_0)$ assignment to D(2550) remains open for its too broad width determined by experiment; (2) the D(2600) and $D_{s1}(2710)$ can be identified as the $2\,^3S_1$-$1\,^3D_1$ mixtures; (3) if the D(2760) and D(2750) are indeed the same resonance, they would be the $D(1\,^3D_3)$; otherwise, they could be assigned as the $D(1\,^3D_3)$ an…
Spectroscopy and strong decays of the charmed baryons are reviewed. Possible spin-parity quantum numbers of several newly observed charmed baryon resonances are discussed. Strong decays of charmed baryons are analyzed in the framework of heavy hadron chiral perturbation theory in which heavy quark symmetry and chiral symmetry are synthesized.
An overview is given of chiral symmetry restoration at finite temperature and baryochemical potential. Within hadronic models of the vector correlator its implications for low-mass dilepton spectra in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions are discussed.
We address the presently reported significant flavor anomalies in the Kaon and $B$ meson systems such as the CP violating Kaon decay ($ε'/ε$) and lepton-flavor universality violation in $B$ meson decays ($R_{K^{(*)}},{R_{D^{(*)}}}$), by proposing flavorful and chiral vector bosons as the new physics constitution at around TeV scale. The chiral-flavorful vectors (CFVs) are introduced as a 63-plet of the global $SU(8)$ symmetry, identified as the one-family symmetry for left-handed quarks and leptons in the standard model (SM) forming the 8-dimensional vector. Thus the CFVs include massive gluon…
The chiral phase transition and equation of state are studied within a new self-consistent mean-field approximation of the two-flavor Nambu$-$Jona-Lasinio model. In this newly developed model, modifications to the chemical potential $μ$ and chiral chemical potential $μ_5$ is naturally included by adding vector and axial-vector channels from Fierz-transformed Lagrangian to the standard Lagrangian. In proper-time scheme, the chiral phase transition is a crossover in the $T-μ$ plane. But when $μ_5$ is increased, our study shows that there may exist first order phase transition. Furthermore, the c…
A chiral effective theory of quarks and diquarks is formulated and applied to exotic tetraquarks and pentaquarks. The effective theory is similar to the chiral quark effective theory with the addition of diquark degrees of freedom and couplings to quarks. Chiral symmetry through generalized Goldberger-Treiman relations, fixes the mass splitting between the even and odd parity diquarks to be about 600 MeV. We provide an estimate of the parameters of the effective theory from both the random instanton model and known data on the low lying scalar nonet. We assess the static properties of the exot…
Charmed baryon strong decays are studied in a chiral quark model. The data for the decays of $Λ^+_c(2593)$, $Λ^+_c(2625)$, $Σ^{++,+,0}_c$ and $Σ^{+,0}_c(2520)$, are accounted for successfully, which allows to fix the pseudoscalar-meson-quark couplings in an effective chiral Lagrangian. Extending this framework to analyze the strong decays of the newly observed charmed baryons, we classify that both $Λ_c(2880)$ and $Λ_c(2940)$ are $D$-wave states in the N=2 shell; $Λ_c(2880)$ could be $|Λ_c ^2 D_{λλ}{3/2}^+>$ and $Λ_c(2940)$ could be $|Λ_c ^2 D_{λλ}{5/2}^+>$. Our calculation also suggests that …
We study localization and chirality properties of eigenvectors of the lattice Dirac operator. In particular we focus on the dependence of our observables on the size of the corresponding eigenvalue, which allows us to study the transition of a near-zero mode into a bulk mode. We analyze ensembles of quenched SU(3) configurations using a Dirac operator which is a systematic expansion in path length of a solution of the Ginsparg-Wilson equation. Our results support the interpretation of the excitations relevant for chiral symmetry breaking as interacting instantons and anti-instantons.
After the discovery of the new $Ω^{*}$ state, the ratio of the branching fractions of $Ω(2012)\to \bar{K}πΞ$ relative to $\bar{K}Ξ$ decay channel was investigated by the Belle Collaboration recently. The measured $11.9\%$ up limit on this ratio is in sharp tension with the $S$-wave $\bar{K}Ξ(1530)$ molecule interpretation for $Ω(2012)$ which indicates the dominant $\bar{K}πΞ$ three-body decay. In the present work, we try to explore the possibility of the $P$-wave molecule assignments for $Ω(2012)$ (where $Ω(2012)$ has positive parity). It is found that the latest experimental measurements are …
We have used QCD sum rules to study the newly observed charged state $Z_c(4025)$ as a hidden-charm $D^*\bar D^*$ molecular state with the quantum numbers $I^G(J^{P})=1^+(1^{+})$. Using a $D^*\bar D^*$ molecular interpolating current, we have calculated the two-point correlation function and the spectral density up to dimension eight at leading order in $α_s$. The extracted mass is $m_X=(4.04\pm0.24)$ GeV. This result is compatible with the observed mass of $Z_c(4025)$ within the errors, which implies a possible molecule interpretation of this new resonance. We also predict the mass of the corr…
We investigate the parton-distribution functions (PDFs) for the positively charged pion and kaon at a low-renormalization scale ~ 1 GeV. To this end, we employ the gauge-invariant effective chiral action from the nonlocal chiral-quark model, resulting in that the vector currents are conserved. All the model parameters are determined phenomenologically with the normalization condition for PDF and the empirical values for the pseudoscalar-meson weak-decay constants. We consider the momentum dependence of the effective quark mass properly within the model calculations. It turns out that the leadi…
