In this article, we separate the vector and axialvector components of the tensor diquark operators explicitly, construct the axialvector-axialvector type and vector-vector type scalar tetraquark currents and scalar-tensor type tensor tetraquark current to study the scalar, vector and axialvector tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a consistent way. The present calculations do not favor assigning the $Z_c(4100)$ to be a scalar or vector tetraquark state. If the $Z_c(4100)$ is a scalar tetraquark state without mixing effects, it should have a mass about $3.9\,\rm{GeV}$ or $4.0\,\rm{GeV}$ rather than $4.1\,\rm{GeV}$; on the other hand, if the $Z_c(4100)$ is a vector tetraquark state, it should have a mass about $4.2\,\rm{GeV}$ rather than $4.1\,\rm{GeV}$. However, if we introduce mixing, a mixing scalar tetraquark state can have a mass about $4.1\,\rm{GeV}$. As a byproduct, we obtain an axialvector tetraquark candidate for the $Z_c(4020)$.
In this paper, we construct the axialvector and tensor current operators to investigate the ground state tetraquark states and the first radially excited tetraquark states with the quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ via the QCD sum rules systematically, and observe that there are one axialvector tetraquark candidate for the $Z_c(3900)$ and $Z_c(4430)$, two axialvector tetraquark candidates for the $Z_c(4020)$, three axialvector tetraquark candidates for the $Z_c(4600)$.
In this article, we study the axial-vector tetraquark state and two-quark-tetraquark mixed state consist of light quarks using the QCD sum rules. The present predictions disfavor assigning the $a_1(1420)$ as the axial-vector tetraquark state with $J^{PC}=1^{++}$, while support assigning the $a_1(1420)$ as the axial-vector two-quark-tetraquark mixed state.
A chiral invariant Lagrangian describing the tetraquark-quarkonia interaction is considered at the leading and subleading order in the large-$N_{c}$ expansion. Spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking generates mixing of scalar tetraquark and quarkonia states and non-vanishing tetraquark condensates. In particular, the mixing strength is related to the decay strengths of tetraquark states into pseudoscalar mesons. The results show that scalar states below 1 GeV are mainly four-quark states and the scalars between 1 and 2 GeV quark-antiquark states, probably mixed with the scalar glueball in the is…
In this article, we perform a systematic study of the mass spectrum of the scalar doubly charmed and doubly bottom tetraquark states using the QCD sum rules.
We study the possible tetraquark interpretation of light scalar meson states $a_0(980)$, $f_0(980)$, $κ$, $σ$ within the framework of the non-relativistic potential model. The wave functions of tetraquark states are obtained in a space spanned by multiple Gaussian functions. We find that the mass spectra of the light scalar mesons can be well accommodated in the tetraquark picture if we introduce a three-body quark interaction in the quark model. Using the obtained multiple Gaussian wave functions, the decay constants of tetraquarks are also calculated within the ``fall apart'' mechanism.
We examine the interpretation of the light scalar meson nonet as tetraquark states using QCD sum rules. With the interpolating current for the tetraquark states composed of scalar diquark and scalar antidiquark, first, we construct the QCD sum rules by means of the operator product expansion up to the operators of dimension 8 and show that there is no evidence of the coupling of the tetraquark states to the light scalar meson nonet. In order to have a stable sum rule, we propose a "good" interpolating current for the tetraquarks based on chirality arguments which includes scalar and pseudoscal…
Two-photon decays of light scalar mesons are discussed within the quarkonium and tetraquark asignements: in both cases the decay rate of the sigma resonances turns out to be smaller than 1 keV.
Scalar tetraquark states are studied within the diquark-antidiquark picture in a non-relativistic approach. We consider two types of confining potentials, a quadratic and a linear one, to which we also add spin-spin, isospin-isospin, and spin-isospin interactions. We calculate the masses of the scalar diquarks and of the ground-state open and hidden charmed and bottom scalar tetraquarks. Our results indicate that the scalar resonances $D_{0}^{\ast}(2400)$ and $D_{s}(2632)$ have a sizable tetraquark amount in their wave function, while, on the other hand, it turns out that the scalar states $D_…
In this article, we study the mass spectrum of the scalar hidden charm and hidden bottom tetraquark states which consist of the axial-axial type and the vector-vector type diquark pairs with the QCD sum rules.
The relativistic four-quark equations are found in the framework of coupled-channel formalism. The dynamical mixing of the meson-meson states with the four-quark states is considered. The four-quark amplitudes of the tetraquarks with hidden bottom, including u, d, s and bottom quarks, are constructed. The poles of these amplitudes determine the masses and widths of tetraquarks.
In this article, we study the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark ($AA$) type and scalar-diquark-scalar-antidiquark ($SS$) type fully open flavor $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark states with the spin-parity $J^P={0}^+$ via the QCD sum rules. The predicted masses $M_{AA}=2.91\pm0.12\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{SS}=3.05\pm0.10\,\rm{GeV}$ support assigning the $X_0(2900)$ to be the $AA$-type scalar $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark state.
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark type tensor current to interpolate both the vector and axialvector tetraquark states, then calculate the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion, and obtain the QCD sum rules for both the vector and axialvector tetraquark states. The numerical results support assigning the $Z_c(4020/4025)$ to be the $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state, and assigning the $Y(4660)$ to be the $J^{PC}=1^{--}$ diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state. Furthermore,…
In the framework of two-flavor extended linear sigma model with mixing between scalar quarkonium and tetraquark, we investigate the role of the tetraquark in the chiral phase transition. We explore various scenarios depending on the value of various parameters in our model. The physical mass spectrum of mesons put a tight constraint on the parameter set of our model. We find a sufficiently strong cubic self interaction of the tetraquark field can drive the chiral phase transition to first order even at zero quark chemical potential. Weak or absence of the cubic self interaction term of the tet…
In this article, we introduce a relative P-wave to construct the doubly-charm axialvector diquark operator, then take the doubly-charm axialvector (anti)diquark operator as the basic constituent to construct the scalar and tensor tetraquark currents to study the scalar, axialvector and tensor fully-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. We observe that the ground state $\tilde{A}\tilde{A}$ type tetraquark states and the first radial excited states of the $AA$ type tetraquark states have almost degenerated masses, where the $\tilde{A}$ and $A$ stand for the diquark operators with and w…
In this article, we take the scalar diquark and antidiquark operators as the basic constituents, construct the $Cγ_5\otimes\stackrel{\leftrightarrow}{\partial}_μ\otimes γ_5C$ type tetraquark current to study the $Y(10750)$ with the QCD sum rules. The predicted mass $M_{Y}=10.75\pm0.10\,\rm{GeV}$ and width $Γ_Y= 33.60^{+16.64}_{-9.45}\,{\rm{MeV}}$ support assigning the $Y(10750)$ to be the diquark-antidiquark type vector hidden-bottom tetraquark state, which has a relative P-wave between the diquark and antidiquark constituents.
In this article, we take the $X(5568)$ as the diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state with the spin-parity $J^P=0^+$, construct the scalar-diquark-scalar-antidiquark type current, carry out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension-10, and study the mass and pole residue in details with the QCD sum rules. We obtain the value $M_X=\left(5.57\pm0.12 \right) \,\rm{GeV}$, which is consistent with the experimental data. The present prediction favors assigning the $X(5568)$ to be the scalar tetraquark state.
The study of two-pseudoscalar and two-photon decays for the scalar meson nonet below 1 GeV is performed within an effective approach in which the scalar resonances are described as (Jaffe's) tetraquark states. The dominant (fall apart decay) and the subdominant (one transverse gluon as intermediate state) decay amplitudes are systematically taken into account. The latter improves the agreement with the experimental data. Possible scenarios concerning the scalar-isoscalar mixing are discussed.
In this article, we study the mass spectrum of the scalar hidden charm and bottom tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. The numerical results are compared with the corresponding ones from a relativistic quark model based on a quasipotential approach in QCD. The relevant values from the constituent diquark model based on the constituent diquark masses and the spin-spin interactions are also discussed.
In this article, we take the scalar diquarks as point particles and describe them as basic quantum fields, then introduce the SU(3) color gauge interaction and new vacuum condensates to study the nonet scalar mesons as tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. Comparing with the conventional quark currents, the diquark currents have the outstanding advantage to satisfy the two criteria of the QCD sum rules more easily.
Based on the diquark configuration, we construct the diquark-antidiquark interpolating tetraquark currents with $J^{PC}=1^{-\pm}$ and $1^{+\pm}$, which can couple to the scalar and pseudoscalar tetraquark states respectively, since they are not conserved currents. Then we investigate their two-point correlation functions including the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 and extract the masses and pole residues of the tetraquark states with $J^{PC}=0^{+\pm}$ and $0^{-\pm}$ through the QCD sum rule approach. The predicted masses can be confronted with the experimental data…
In this article, we study the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark type scalar, axialvector, tensor and vector $ss\bar{s}\bar{s}$ tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. The predicted mass $m_{X}=2.08\pm0.12\,\rm{GeV}$ for the axialvector tetraquark state is in excellent agreement with the experimental value $(2062.8 \pm 13.1 \pm 4.2) \,\rm{MeV}$ from the BESIII collaboration and supports assigning the new $X$ state to be a $ss\bar{s}\bar{s}$ tetraquark state with $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$. The predicted mass $m_{X}=3.08\pm0.11\,\rm{GeV}$ disfavors assigning the $ϕ(2170)$ or $Y(2175)$ to be the…
In this article, we tentatively assign the $X(3915)$ and $X(4500)$ to be the ground state and the first radial excited state of the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark type scalar $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark states, respectively, assign the $X(4700)$ to be the ground state vector-diquark-vector-antidiquark type scalar $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark state, and study their masses and pole residues with the QCD sum rules in details by calculating the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension 10. The numerical results support assigning the $X(3915)$ and $X(4500)$ to be the g…
In this article, we study the masses and pole residues of the pseudoscalar-diquark-pseudoscalar-antidiquark type and vector-diquark-vector-antidiquark type scalar hidden-charm $cu\bar{c}\bar{d}$ ($cu\bar{c}\bar{s}$) tetraquark states with QCD sum rules by taking into account the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion. The predicted masses can be confronted with the experimental data in the future. Possible decays of those tetraquark states are also discussed.
Masses of the ground state light tetraquarks are dynamically calculated in the framework of the relativistic diquark-antidiquark picture. The internal structure of the diquark is taken into account by calculating the form factor of the diquark-gluon interaction in terms of the overlap integral of the diquark wave functions. It is found that scalar mesons with masses below 1 GeV: f_0(600) (σ), K^*_0(800) (κ), f_0(980) and a_0(980) agree well with the light tetraquark interpretation.
Using the chromomagnetic interaction Hamiltonian with proper account for the SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking, we have performed a schematic study on the masses of $S-$wave heavy tetraquarks as $bq\bar{b}\bar{q}$ ($q$ denotes $u$, $d$, $s$ quark). It is found that the numeral results for $bu\bar{b}\bar{d}$ or $bd\bar{b}\bar{u}$ with $1^{+}$ quantum number are 10612 MeV and 10683 MeV respectively, which are well compatible with the recent detected charged bottomonium-like $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$. Theoretically, we also investigate the possible tetraquark states of $1^{++}$ and $2^{+}$ due t…
We study the lowest-lying scalar mesons in the QCD sum rule by considering them as tetraquark states. We find that there are five independent currents for each state with a certain flavor structure. By forming linear combinations, we find that some mixed currents give reliable QCD sum rules. Among various tetraquark currents, we consider those which are constructed by the diquarks having anti-symmetric and symmetric flavor structures. That the results of the QCD sum rule derived from the two types of currents are similar suggests that the tetraquark states can have a large mixing between diffe…
In this article, we study the ground states and the first radial excited states of the tensor-tensor type scalar hidden-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. We separate the ground state contributions from the first radial excited state contributions unambiguously, and obtain the QCD sum rules for the ground states and the first radial excited states, respectively. Then we search for the Borel parameters and continuum threshold parameters according to four criteria and obtain the masses of the tensor-tensor type scalar hidden-charm tetraquark states, which can be confronted to the ex…
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark type currents to interpolate the scalar, axialvector, vector, tensor doubly charmed tetraquark states, and study them with QCD sum rules systematically by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 10 in a consistent way, the predicted masses can be confronted to the experimental data in the future. We can search for those doubly charmed tetraquark states in the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka super-allowed strong decays to the charmed meson pairs.
In this article, we study the first radial excited states of the scalar, axialvector, vector and tensor diquark-antidiquark type $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules and obtain the masses and pole residues, then we use the Regge trajectory to obtain the masses of the second radial excited states. The predicted masses support assigning the broad structure from 6.2 to 6.8 GeV in the di-$J/ψ$ mass spectrum to be the first radial excited state of the scalar, axialvector, vector or tensor $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ tetraquark state, and assigning the narrow structure at about 6.9 GeV…
The tetraquark assignement for light scalar states below 1 GeV is discussed on the light of strong decays. The next-to-leading order in the large-N expansion for the strong decays is considered. Mixing with quarkonia states above 1 GeV is investigated within a chiral approach and the inclusion of finite-width effects is taken into account.
In this article, we tentatively assign the $Y(4140)$, $Y(4274)$ and $X(4350)$ to be the scalar and tensor $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark states, respectively, and study them with the QCD sum rules. In the operator product expansion, we take into account the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10. In calculations, we use the formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{X/Y/Z}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the energy scales of the QCD spectral densities. The numerical results favor assigning the $Y(4140)$ to be the $J^{PC}=2^{++}$ diquark-antidiquark type tetraquark state, and disfavor assigning the $Y(4274)$ and $…
By means of unitarized Chiral Perturbation Theory it is possible to obtain a remarkable description of meson-meson scattering amplitudes up to 1.2 GeV, and generate poles associated to scalar and vector resonances. Since Chiral Perturbation Theory is the QCD low energy effective theory, it is possible then to study its large Nc limit where qqbar states are easily identified. The vectors thus generated follow closely a qqbar behavior, whereas the light scalar poles follow the large Nc behavior expected for a dominant tetraquark or two-meson structure.

In this article, we construct the $C \otimes γ_μC$ and $Cγ_5 \otimes γ_5γ_μC$ type currents to interpolate the vector tetraquark states, then carry out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension-10 in a consistent way, and obtain four QCD sum rules. In calculations, we use the formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{Y}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the optimal energy scales of the QCD spectral densities, moreover, we take the experimental values of the masses of the $Y(4260/4220)$, $Y(4360/4320)$, $Y(4390)$ and $Y(4660/4630)$ as input parameters and fit the pole residues to re…
Multiquark correlations inside hadrons can have a significant and in some cases even striking impact on the hadron spectrum. We show how such correlations in general, and mesons with a dominant tetraquark content in particular, emerge holographically in the AdS/QCD framework. On this basis, we arrive at a holographic realization of an exceptionally strong four-quark binding and a correspondingly large tetraquark component in the lightest scalar mesons. Higher-lying tetraquark excitations, on the other hand, become too broad to form supernumeral scalar states.
We present a study of the isospin-violating one-pion strong decays of single heavy tetraquarks $X_Q = X(s q \bar q \bar Q)$, $Q=c, b$, and $q=u, d$ with spin-parity $J^P = 0^+$. We assume that the tetraquarks have the configuration of a color diquark and a antidiquark. Three mechanisms of isospin violation can contribute to the decay rate: (1) mixing of the $X(s u \bar u \bar Q)$ and $X(s d \bar d \bar Q)$ tetraquark currents, (2) an explicit $m_d-m_u$ quark mass difference in the quark diagrams describing the corresponding decay transitions and (3) $π^0-η$ mixing in the final state. Our main …
In this letter, we take the point of view that the X(1576) be tetraquark state which consists of a scalar-diquark and an anti-scalar-diquark in relative $P$-wave, and calculate its mass in the framework of the QCD sum rules approach. The numerical value of the mass $m_X=(1.66\pm 0.14) GeV$ is consistent with the experimental data, there may be some tetraquark component in the vector meson X(1576).
We study the light scalar mesons in the QCD sum rule. We construct both the diquark-antidiquark currents $(qq)(\bar q \bar q)$ and the meson-meson currents $(\bar qq)(\bar qq)$. We find that there are five independent currents for both cases, and derive the relations between them. For the meson-meson currents, five independent currents are formed by products of color singlet $\bar q q$ pairs or color octet pairs. However, they can be related to each other, and the relations are derived. We obtain the masses of the light scalar mesons which are consistent with the experiments.
Very recently, the LHCb Collaboration observed distinct structures with the $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ in the $J/Ψ$-pair mass spectrum. In this work, we construct four scalar ($J^{PC} = 0^{++}$) $[8_c]_{Q\bar{Q^\prime}}\otimes [8_c]_{Q^\prime \bar{Q}}$ type currents to investigate the fully-heavy tetraquark state $Q Q^\prime \bar{Q} \bar{Q^\prime}$ in the framework of QCD sum rules, where $Q=c, b$ and $Q^\prime = c, b$. Our results suggest that the broad structure around 6.2-6.8 GeV can be interpreted as the $0^{++}$ octet-octet tetraquark states with masses $6.44\pm 0.11$ GeV and $6.52\pm 0.10$ GeV, …
In this article, we take the point of view that the charmed scalar meson $D_{s0}(2317)$ be a tetraquark state and devote to calculate its mass within the framework of the QCD sum rules approach in the heavy quark limit. The numerical values for the mass of the $D_{s0}(2317)$ are consistent with the experimental data, there must be some tetraquark component in the scalar meson $D_{s0}(2317)$. Detailed discussions about the threshold parameter and Borel parameter for the multiquark states are also presented.
The observed mass pattern of scalar resonances below 1 GeV gives preference to the tetraquark assignment over the conventional $\bar qq$ assignment for these states. We present a search for tetraquarks with isospins 0, 1/2, 1 in lattice QCD, where the isospin channels 1/2 and 1 have not been studied before. We determine three energy levels in each isospin channel using the variational method. The scattering states and possible tetraquark states are distinguished by considering the volume-dependence of spectral weights and by considering the time-dependence of correlators near t~T/2. We find no…
QCD sum-rule mass predictions for tetraquark states provide insights on the interpretations and internal structure of experimentally-observed exotic mesons. However, the overwhelming majority of tetraquark QCD sum-rule analyses have been performed at leading order (LO), which raises questions about the underlying theoretical uncertainties from higher-loop corrections. The impact of next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative effects are systematically examined in scalar ($J^{PC}=0^{++}$) isoscalar light-quark tetraquark systems where comprehensive LO sum-rule analyses have been performed and NLO …
The mass and meson-current coupling of the diquark-antidiquark states with the quantum numbers $J^{P}=0^{+}$ and quark contents $Z_{q}=[cq][\bar {b} \bar q ]$ and $Z_{s}=[cs][\bar {b} \bar s]$ are calculated using two-point QCD sum rule approach. In calculations the quark, gluon and mixing condensates up to eight dimensions are taken into account. The parameters of the scalar tetraquarks extracted from this analysis are employed to explore the strong vertices $Z_q B_c π$, $Z_q B_c η$ and $Z_s B_c η$ and compute the couplings $g_{Z_qB_c π}$, $g_{Z_qB_c η}$ and $g_{Z_sB_c η}$. The strong couplin…
In this article, we study the $Z_c(3900)$ with the QCD sum rules in details by including the two-particle scattering state contributions and nonlocal effects between the diquark and antidiquark constituents. The two-particle scattering state contributions cannot saturate the QCD sum rules at the hadron side, the contribution of the $Z_c(3900)$ plays an un-substitutable role, we can saturate the QCD sum rules with or without the two-particle scattering state contributions. If there exists a barrier or spatial separation between the diquark and antidiquark constituents, the Feynman diagrams can …
We review the status of an ongoing long-term lattice investigation of the spectrum and structure of tetraquark candidates. We focus on the light scalar meson $a_0(980)$. First steps regarding the study of a possibly existing $c c \bar{c} \bar{c}$ tetraquark are also outlined.
We propose a search for the newly discovered tetraquark candidate Z(4430) in photoproduction. Based on the Belle results we show that if Z(4430) is a genuine resonance, its significantly large coupling to $ψ^\primeπ$ will cause it to stand out above the background in $γp\to Z^+(4430) n\to ψ^\prime π^+ n$. We consider the dependence of the cross section for the quantum numbers ($J^{P}=1^{-}$, $1^{+}$ or $0^{-}$).
Scalar mesons are a key expression of the strong coupling regime of QCD. How those with $I_3=0$ couple to two photons supplies important information about which is transiently ${\bar q}q$ or ${\bar {qq}} qq$ or multi-meson molecule or largely glue, provided (i) we know the location of the corresponding poles in the complex energy plane, and (ii) we have reliable predictions from strong coupling QCD of the radiative widths for these compositions. Number (i) is being supplied by careful analyses of high statistics data particularly that coming from $B$, $D$, $J/ψ$ and $ϕ$ decays. Number (ii) is …
In this article, we take the pseudoscalar, scalar, axialvector, vector, tensor (anti)diquark operators as the basic constituents, and construct the scalar, axialvector and tensor tetraquark currents to study the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a comprehensive way. We revisit the assignments of the $X$, $Y$, $Z$ states, such as the $X(3860)$, $X(3872)$, $X(3915)$, $X(3940)$, $X(4160)$, $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4050)$, $Z_c(4055)$, $Z_c(4100)$, $Z_c(4200)$, $Z_c(4250)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_c(4600)$, etc in the scenario of tetraquark st…
We discuss how a dominant tetraquark component of the lightest scalar mesons may emerge in AdS/QCD gravity duals. In particular, we show that the exceptionally strong binding required to render the tetraquark ground state lighter than the lowest-lying scalar quark-antiquark nonet can be holographically encoded into bulk-mass corrections for the tetraquark's dual mode. The latter are argued to originate from the anomalous dimension of the corresponding four-quark interpolator. To provide a concrete example, we implement this mechanism into the dilaton soft-wall dual for holographic QCD. Prevent…
Searches for tetraquarks and mesonic molecules in lattice QCD are briefly reviewed. In the light quark sector the most serious candidates are the lightest scalar resonances sigma, kappa, a0 and f0. In the hidden-charm sector I discuss lattice simulations of X(3872), Y(4260), Y(4140) and Z^+(4430). The most serious challenge in all these lattice studies is the presence of scattering states in addition to possible tetraquark/molecular states. The available methods for distinguishing both are reviewed and the main conclusions of the simulations are presented.
We systematically study the chiral structure of local tetraquark currents of flavor singlet and J(P)=0(+). We also investigate their chiral partners, including scalar and pseudoscalar tetraquark currents of flavor singlet, octet, 10, 10_bar and 27. We study their chiral transformation properties. Particularly, we use the tetraquark currents belonging to the "non-exotic" [(3_bar,3)+(3,3_bar)] chiral multiplets to calculate the masses of light scalar mesons through QCD sum rule. The two-point correlation functions are calculated including all terms and only the connected parts. The results are c…
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-scalar-antidiquark type currents to interpolate the axialvector doubly heavy tetraquark states, and study them with the QCD sum rules in details by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 10.
The observed mass pattern of scalar resonances below 1 GeV gives preference to the tetraquark assignment over the conventional $\bar qq$ assignment for these states. We present a search for tetraquarks with isospins 0,1/2,1 in lattice QCD, where isospin channels 1/2 and 1 have not been studied before. Our simulation uses Chirally Improved fermions on quenched gauge configurations. We determine three energy levels for each isospin using the variational method. The ground state is consistent with the scattering state, while the two excited states have energy above 2 GeV. Therefore we find no ind…
We present a numerical solution of the four-quark Bethe-Salpeter equation for ground-state scalar tetraquarks with J^PC = 0^++. We find that the four-body equation dynamically generates pseudoscalar-meson poles in the Bethe-Salpeter amplitude. The resulting tetraquarks are genuine four-quark states that are dominated by pseudoscalar meson-meson correlations. Diquark-antidiquark contributions are subleading because of their larger mass scale. In the light quark sector, the sensitivity of the tetraquark wave function to the pion poles leads to an isoscalar tetraquark mass M_sigma ~ 350 MeV which…
Motivated by the Belle Collaboration's new observation of $Y(4626)$, we investigate the possibility of its configuration as a $P$-wave $[cs][\bar{c}\bar{s}]$ tetraquark state from QCD sum rules. Eventually, the extracted mass $4.60^{+0.13}_{-0.19}~\mbox{GeV}$ for the $P$-wave $cs$-scalar-diquark $\bar{c}\bar{s}$-scalar-antidiquark state agrees well with the experimental data of $Y(4626)$, which could support its interpretation as a $P$-wave scalar-scalar $[cs][\bar{c}\bar{s}]$ tetraquark state.
We study the light scalar mesons a_0(980) and kappa using N_f = 2+1+1 flavor lattice QCD. In order to probe the internal structure of these scalar mesons, and in particular to identify, whether a sizeable tetraquark component is present, we use a large set of operators, including diquark-antidiquark, mesonic molecule and two-meson operators. The inclusion of disconnected diagrams, which are technically rather challenging, but which would allow us to extend our work to e.g. the f_0(980) meson, is introduced and discussed.
Motivated by the LHCb's very recent observation of exotic $X_{0}(2900)$ in the $B^{+}\rightarrow D^{+}D^{-}K^{+}$ process, for which could be a good open charm $ud\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark candidate, we endeavor to investigate its possibility by means of QCD sum rules. In technique, four configurations of interpolating currents with $J^{P}=0^{+}$ are studied for the $ud\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark state. In the end, mass values are calculated to be $2.76^{+0.16}_{-0.23}~\mbox{GeV}$ for the axial vector diquark-axial vector antidiquark configuration and $2.75^{+0.15}_{-0.24}~\mbox{GeV}$ for the …
The decays of a light scalar meson into a vector meson and a photon ($S\to Vγ)$ are evaluated in the tetraquark and quarkonium assignments of the scalar states. A link with the radiative decays $ϕ\to Sγ$ is established: experimental results for $S\to Vγ$ will allow to understand if the direct, quark-loop contribution to $ϕ\to Sγ$ or the kaon-loop contribution is dominant. Also strong decays $S\to PP$ -where $P$ denotes a pseudoscalar meson- are investigated: the tetraquark assignment works better than the quarkonium one. It is then also discussed why the tetraquark assignment is favoured with …
