Let $\mathbb{N}$ be the set of all nonnegative integers. For $S\subseteq \mathbb{N}$ and $n\in \mathbb{N}$, let the representation function $R_{S}(n)$ denote the number of solutions of the equation $n=s+s'$ with $s, s'\in S$ and $s<s'$. In this paper, we determine the structure of $C, D\subseteq \mathbb{N}$ with $C\cup D=[0, m]$ and $|C\cap D|=2$ such that $R_{C}(n)=R_{D}(n)$ for any nonnegative integer $n$.

Minimal universality criterion sets on the representations of quadratic forms

For a set $S$ of (positive definite and integral) quadratic forms with bounded rank, a quadratic form $f$ is called $S$-universal if it represents all quadratic forms in $S$. A subset $S_0$ of $S$ is called an $S$-universality criterion set if any $S_0$-universal quadratic form is $S$-universal. We say $S_0$ is minimal if there does not exist a proper subset of $S_0$ that is an $S$-universality criterion set. On the wavefront sets associated with theta representations

We study a conjectural formula for the maximal elements in the wavefront set associated with a theta representation of a covering group over $p$-adic fields. In particular, it is shown that the formula agrees with the existing work in the literature for various families of groups. We also recapitulate the results of an analogous formula in the archimedean case, which motivated the conjectural formula in the $p$-adic setting.

Sites whose topoi are the smooth representations of locally profinite groups
