We derive Ehrenfest like equations for the coupled Gross Pitaevskii equations (CGPE) which describe the dynamics of the binary Bose-Einstein condensate (BBEC) both in the free particle regime and in the regime where condensate is well trapped. Instead of traditional variational technique, we propose a new Ehrenfest based approach to explore so far unrevealed dynamics for CGPE and illustrate the possibility of almost shape invariant states in both the regimes. In absence of trapping potential, when all the interactions present in the system are attractive, it is possible for an initially mixed Gaussian state to propagate with almost no change in width if the proper initial condition is satisfied. Even for repulsive intra-atomic and attractive inter-atomic interaction ($g_{αβ}$) one can tune $|g_{αβ}|$ such that the width of the propagating wave packet remains bounded within almost about $10\%$. We also discuss the dynamics of the initially phase separated condensate and have shown the breakdown of Gaussian nature of the wave packets due to collisions. However, when BEC is trapped in simple harmonic oscillator(SHO) potential, for $g_{αβ}>0$, it is possible for an initially overlapping state to retain its initial shape if $g_{αβ}$ is less than a critical value ($g_{αβ}^c$). If $g_{αβ}$ exceeds $g_{αβ}^c$, an overlapping state can become phase separated while keeping its shape unchanged.
The mean-field dynamics of a Bose gas is shown to break down at time $τ_h = (c_1/γ) \ln N$ where $γ$ is the Lyapunov exponent of the mean-field theory, $N$ is the number of bosons, and $c_1$ is a system-dependent constant. The breakdown time $τ_h$ is essentially the Ehrenfest time that characterizes the breakdown of the correspondence between classical and quantum dynamics. This breakdown can be well described by the quantum fidelity defined for reduced density matrices. Our results are obtained with the formalism in particle-number phase space and are illustrated with a triple-well model. The…
Describing partially-condensed Bose gases poses a long-standing theoretical challenge. We present exact stochastic Ehrenfest relations for the stochastic projected Gross-Pitaevskii equation, including both number and energy damping mechanisms, and all projector terms that arise from the energy cutoff separating system from reservoir. We test the theory by applying it to the centre of mass fluctuations of a harmonically trapped prolate system, finding close agreement between c-field simulations and analytical results. The formalism lays the foundation to analytically explore experimentally acce…
We investigate spin dynamics of a two-component Bose-Einstein condensates with weak Josephson coupling. Analytical expressions of atom-number squeezing and bipartite entanglement are presented for atom-atom repulsive interactions. For attractive interactions, there is no number squeezing; however, the squeezing parameter is still useful to recognize the appearance of Schrödinger's cat state.
Vortex lattices in rapidly rotating Bose-Einstein condensates lead to a periodic modulation of the superfluid density with a triangular symmetry. Here we show that this symmetry can be combined with an external perturbation in order to create super-lattice structures with two or more periodicities. Considering a condensate which is kicked by an optical lattice potential, we find the appearance of transient moiré lattice structures, which can be identified using the kinetic energy spectrum.
We propose to detect phonon and roton excitations in a two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate with Raman-induced spin-orbit coupling by perturbing the atomic cloud with a weak barrier. The two excitation modes can be observed by moving the barrier along different directions in appropriate parameter regimes. Phonon excitations are identified by the appearance of solitary waves, while roton excitations lead to distinctive spatial density modulations. We show that this method can also be used to determine the anisotropic critical velocities of superfluid.
We study the fidelity decay and its freeze for an initial coherent state of two-mode Bose-Einstein condensates in the Fock regime considering a Bose-Hubbard model that includes two-particle tunneling terms. By using linear-response theory we find scaling properties of the fidelity as a function of the particle number that prove the existence of two-particle mode-exchange when a non-degeneracy condition is fulfilled. Tuning the energy difference of the two modes serves to distinguish the presence of two-particle mode-exchange terms through the appearance of certain singularities. Numerical resu…
We propose and demonstrate the appearance of an effective attractive three-body interaction in coherently-driven two-component Bose Einstein condensates. It originates from the spinor degree of freedom that is affected by a two-body mean-field shift of the driven transition frequency. Importantly, its strength can be controlled with the Rabi-coupling strength and it does not come with additional losses. In the experiment, the three-body interactions are adjusted to play a predominant role in the equation of state of a cigar-shaped trapped condensate. This is confirmed though two striking obser…
We investigate dynamical three-body correlations in the Bose gas during the earliest stages of evolution after a quench to the unitary regime. The development of few-body correlations is theoretically observed by determining the two- and three-body contacts. We find that the growth of three-body correlations is gradual compared to two-body correlations. The three-body contact oscillates coherently, and we identify this as a signature of Efimov trimers. We show that the growth of three-body correlations depends non-trivially on parameters derived from both the density and Efimov physics. These …
The Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) of magnons created by a strong pumping in ferromagnetic thin films of yttrium iron garnet used as systems of finite size is considered analytically. Such a peculiarity, typical for this magnetic material, as the presence of a minimum in the spectrum of spin waves at a finite value of the wave vector is taken into account. The definition of hightemperature BEC is introduced and its characteristics are discussed. A role of boundary conditions for spin variables is analyzed, and it is shown that in the case of free spins on the boundary the magnon lattice can …
We study the propagation of anisotropic sound and shock waves in dipolar Bose-Einstein condensate in three dimensions (3D) as well as in quasi-two (2D, disk shape) and quasi-one (1D, cigar shape) dimensions using the mean-field approach. In 3D, the propagation of sound and shock waves are distinct in directions parallel and perpendicular to dipole axis with the appearance of instability above a critical value corresponding to attraction. Similar instability appears in 1D and not in 2D. The numerical anisotropic Mach angle agrees with theoretical prediction. The numerical sound velocity in all …
Here, we consider damped two-components Bose-Einstein condensates with many-body interactions. We show that, when the external trapping potential has a double-well shape and when the nonlinear coupling factors are modulated in time, hysteresis effects may appear under some circumstances. Such hysteresis phenomena are a result of the joint contribution between the appearance of saddle node bifurcations and damping effect.
When a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate is placed into rotation, a lattice of vortices and cores appear. The geometry of this lattice (triangular or square) varies according to the rotational value and the intercomponent coupling strengths. In this paper, assuming a Thomas-Fermi regime, we derive a point energy which allows us to determine for which values of the parameters, the lattice goes from triangular to square. It turns out that the separating curve in the phase diagram agrees fully with the complete numerical simulations of the Gross-Pitaevskii equations. We also derive a formula…
Magnetic insulators can be characterized by a gap separating the singlet ground state from the lowest energy triplet, S=1 excitation. If the gap can be closed by the Zeeman interaction in applied magnetic field, the resulting S=1 quasiparticles, triplons, can have concentrations sufficient to undergo the Bose-Einstein condensates transition. We consider macroscopic properties of the triplon Bose-Einstein condensates in the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approximation taking into account the anomalous averages. We prove that these averages play the qualitative role in the condensate properties. As a r…
We numerically study the dynamics of Faraday waves in a pancake-shaped Bose--Einstein condensate (BEC) subject to periodic modulation of the interaction. After the modulation starts, Faraday waves appear and, thereafter, the BEC enters the "nonlinear regime", in which several collective modes are excited. By maintaining the modulation without dissipation, the kinetic energy that contributes to the density gradient causes quasiperiodic motion and increases monotonically. In the nonlinear regime, the dips in the density similar to dark solitons move around in the BEC, intersecting with each othe…
We report evidence for the existence of a supercurrent of magnons in a magnon Bose-Einstein condensate prepared in a room temperature yttrium-iron-garnet magnetic film and subject to a thermal gradient. The magnon condensate is formed in a parametrically populated magnon gas, and its temporal evolution is studied by time-, frequency- and wavector-resolved Brillouin light scattering spectroscopy. It has been found that local heating in the focal point of a probing laser beam enhances the temporal decrease in the density of the freely evolving magnon condensate after the termination of the pumpi…
The recent realization of synthetic spin-orbit coupling represents an outstanding achievement in the physics of ultracold quantum gases. In this review we explore the properties of a spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensate with equal Rashba and Dresselhaus strengths. This system presents a rich phase diagram, which exhibits a tricritical point separating a zero-momentum phase, a spin-polarized plane-wave phase, and a stripe phase. In the stripe phase translational invariance is spontaneously broken, in analogy with supersolids. Spin-orbit coupling also strongly affects the dynamics of the …
We investigate the effects of correlations on the properties of the ground state of the rotating harmonically-trapped Bose gas by adding Bogoliubov fluctuations to the mean-field ground state of an $N$-particle single-vortex system. We demonstrate that the fluctuation-induced correlations lower the energy compared to that of the mean-field ground state, that the vortex core is pushed slightly away from the center of the trap, and that an unstable mode with negative energy (for rotations slower than a critical frequency) emerges in the energy spectrum, thus, pointing to a better state for slow …
We examine two dimensional mixture of single-component fermions and dipolar bosons. We calculate the self-enregies of the fermions in the normal state and the Cooper pair channel by including first order vertex correction to derive a modified Eliashberg equation. We predict appearance of superfluids with various non-standard pairing symmetries at experimentally feasible transition temperatures within the strong-coupling limit of the Eliashberg equation. Excitations in these superfluids are anyonic and follow non-Abelian statistics.
An analytical insight into the symmetry breaking mechanisms underlying the transition from Josephson to self-trapping regimes in Bose-Einstein condensates is presented. We obtain expressions for the ground state properties of the system of a gas of attractive bosons modelized by a two site Bose-Hubbard hamiltonian with an external bias. Simple formulas are found relating the appearance of fragmentation in the condensate with the large quantum fluctuations of the population imbalance occurring in the transition from the Josephson to the self-trapped regime.
The hallmark of superfluidity is the appearance of metastable flow-states that carry a persistent circulating current. Considering Bose-Hubbard superfluid rings, we clarify the role of "quantum chaos" in this context. We show that the standard Landau and Bogoliubov superfluidity criteria fail for such low-dimensional circuits. We also discuss the feasibility for a coherent operation of a SQUID-like setup. Finally, we address the manifestation of the strong many-body dynamical localization effect.
The ground state of a spin-orbit-coupled Bose gas in a one-dimensional optical lattice is known to exhibit a mixed regime, where the condensate wave function is given by a superposition of multiple Bloch-wave components, and an unmixed one, in which the atoms occupy a single Bloch state. The unmixed regime features two unpolarized Bloch-wave phases, having quasimomentum at the center or at the edge of the first Brillouin zone, and a polarized Bloch-wave phase at intermediate quasimomenta. By calculating the critical values of the Raman coupling and of the lattice strength at the transitions am…
Bose-Einstein condensate shells, while occurring in ultracold systems of coexisting phases and potentially within neutron stars, have yet to be realized in isolation on Earth due to the experimental challenge of overcoming gravitational sag. Motivated by the expected realization of hollow condensates by the space-based Cold Atomic Laboratory in microgravity conditions, we study a spherical condensate undergoing a topological change from a filled sphere to a hollow shell. We argue that the collective modes of the system show marked and robust signatures of this hollowing transition accompanied …
Using first principles many-body theory methods (GW+BSE) we demonstrate that optical properties of graphane are dominated by localized charge-transfer excitations governed by enhanced electron correlations in a two-dimensional dielectric medium. Strong electron-hole interaction leads to the appearance of small radius bound excitons with spatially separated electron and hole, which are localized out-of-plane and in-plane, respectively. The presence of such bound excitons opens the path on excitonic Bose-Einstein condensate in graphane that can be observed experimentally.
Supersolid, a fascinating quantum state of matter, features novel phenomena such as the non-classical rotational inertia and transport anomalies. It is a long standing issue of the coexistence of superfluidity and broken translational symmetry in condensed matter physics. By recent experimental advances to create tunable synthetic spin-orbit coupling in ultracold gases, such highly controllable atomic systems would provide new possibilities to access supersolidity with no counterpart in solids. Here we report that the combination of anharmonicity of trapping potential and spin-orbit coupling w…
We report on experimental observation of BEC-like behaviour of quantized electron spin waves (magnons) in a dense gas of spin polarized atomic hydrogen. The magnons are trapped and controlled with inhomogeneous magnetic fields, and described by a Schrödinger-like wave equation, in analogy to the BEC experiments with neutral atoms. We have observed the appearance of a sharp feature in the ESR spectrum displaced from the normal spin wave spectrum. We believe that this observation corresponds to a sudden growth of the ground state population of the magnons and emergence of their spontaneous coher…
We investigate the ground states of a Bose-Einstein condensate of indirect excitons coupled to an electron gas. We show that in a properly designed system, the crossing of a roton minimum into the negative energy domain can result in the appearance of the supersolid phase, characterized by periodicity in both real and reciprocal space. Accounting for the spin-dependent exchange interaction of excitons we obtain ferromagnetic supersolid domains. The Fourier spectra of excitations of weakly perturbed supersolids show pronounced diffraction maxima which may be detected experimentally.
We study the stability and dynamics of an ultra-cold bosonic gas trapped in a toroidal geometry and driven by rotation, in the absence of dissipation. We first delineate, via the Bogoliubov mode expansion, the regions of stability and the nature of instabilities of the system for both repulsive and attractive interaction strengths. To study the response of the system to variations in the rotation rate, we introduce a "disorder" potential, breaking the rotational symmetry. We demonstrate the breakdown of adiabaticity as the rotation rate is slowly varied and find forced tunneling between the sy…
Motivated by a recent experiment [L.Chomaz et al., Nature Physics 14, 442 (2018)], we perform numerical simulations of a dipolar Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) in a tubular confinement at T=0 within Density Functional Theory, where the beyond-mean-field correction to the ground state energy is included in the Local Density Approximation. We study the excitation spectrum of the system by solving the corresponding Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. The calculated spectrum shows a roton minimum, and the roton gap decreases by reducing the effective scattering length. As the roton gap disappears, the…
We report site-resolved radiofrequency spectroscopy measurements of Bose-Einstein condensates of 87Rb atoms in about 100 sites of a one-dimensional 10 micron-period magnetic lattice produced by a grooved magnetic film plus bias fields. Site-to-site variations of the trap bottom, atom temperature, condensate fraction and chemical potential indicate that the magnetic lattice is remarkably uniform, with variations in trap bottoms of only +/- 0.4 mG. At the lowest trap frequencies (radial and axial frequencies 1.5 kHz and 260 Hz, respectively), temperatures down to 0.16 microkelvin are achieved in…
We calculate the Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) occupation statistics vs. the interparticle interaction in a dilute gas with a nonuniform condensate in a box trap within the Bogoliubov approach. The results are compared against the previously found BEC-occupation statistics in (i) an ideal gas and (ii) a weakly interacting gas with a uniform condensate. In particular, we reveal and explicitly describe an appearance of a nontrivial transition from the ideal gas to the Thomas-Fermi regime. The results include finding the main regimes of the BEC statistics - the anomalous non-Gaussian thermally-d…
We analyze the spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) induced by one specific component of a linearly coupled binary Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC). The model is based on linearly coupled Schrödinger equations with cubic nonlinearity and with a double-well (DW) potential acting on only one of the atomic components. By numerical simulations, symmetric and asymmetric ground-states were obtained, and an induced asymmetry in the partner field was observed. In this sense, we properly demonstrated that the linear coupling mixing the two-field component (Rabi coupling) promotes the (in)balance between a…
In order to study the rotating strongly coupled Bose-Einstein condensations(BEC), a holographic model defined in an AdS black hole that duals to a coupled two-component condensations in global $U(1)$ symmetry broken phase with intercomponent coupling $η$ and internal coherent coupling $ε$ is proposed. By solving the dynamics of the model, we study the process of formation and also the crossover from fractional to integer vortex phases. With changing only $η$ from zero to a finite value, fractional vortex lattices undergo a transition from hexagon to square lattice and finally to vortex sheets.…
We investigate the dynamical phase transition of two-component Bose-Einstein condensate with nonlinear tunneling, which is trapped inside a double-well and dispersively coupled to a single mode of a high-finesse optical cavity with one moving end mirror driven by a single mode standing field. The nonlinear tunneling interaction leads to an increase of stability points and riches the phase diagram of the system. It is shown that the appearance of the moving end mirror speeds up the tunneling of Bose-Einstein condensates, which makes population difference between two wells and regulates the numb…
We calculate density-density correlations of an expanding gas of strongly attractive ultra-cold spin-1/2 fermions in an optical lattice. The phase diagram of the tightly bound fermion pairs exhibits a Bose-Einstein condensed state and a Mott insulating state with a single molecule per lattice site. We study the effects of quantum fluctuations on the correlations in both phases and show that they are especially important in the Bose-Einstein condensate state, leading to the appearance of singular peaks. In the Mott insulating state the correlations are characterized by sharp dips. This can be u…
We propose a quantum simulation of the quantum Rabi model in an atomic quantum dot, which is a single atom in a tight optical trap coupled to the quasiparticle modes of a superfluid Bose-Einstein condensate. This widely tunable setup allows to simulate the ultrastrong coupling regime of light-matter interaction in a system which enjoys an amenable characteristic timescale, paving the way for an experimental analysis of the transition between the Jaynes-Cummings and the quantum Rabi dynamics using cold-atom systems. Our scheme can be naturally extended to simulate multi-qubit quantum Rabi model…
Recently E. Sonin commented [1] on our preprint "Supercurrent in a room temperature Bose-Einstein magnon condensate" [2,3], arguing that our "claim of detection of spin supercurrent is premature and has not been sufficiently supported by presented experimental results and their theoretical interpretation." We consider the appearance of this Comment as a sign of significant interest into the problem of supercurrents in Bose-Einstein magnon condensates. Here, we explicitly address E. Sonin's comments and show that our interpretation of our experimental results as a detection of a magnon supercur…
We develop the method of adiabatic tracking for photo- and magneto-association of Bose-Einstein atomic condensates with models that include Kerr type nonlinearities. We show that the inclusion of these terms can produce qualitatively important modifications in the adiabatic dynamics, like the appearance of bifurcations, in which the trajectory that is being tracked loses its stability. As a consequence the adiabatic theorem does not apply and the adiabatic transfer can be strongly degraded. This degradation can be compensated by using fields that are strong enough compared with the values of t…
Continuous center-of-mass position measurements performed on an interacting harmonically trapped Bose-gas are considered. Using both semi-analytical mean-field approach and completely quantum numerical technique based on positive P-representation, it is demonstrated that the atomic delocalization due to the measurement back action is smaller for a strongly interacting gas. The numerically calculated second-order correlation functions demonstrate appearance of atomic bunching as a result of the center-of-mass measurement. Though being rather small the bunching is present also for strongly inter…
We consider a cavity optomechanical system consisting of a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) interacting with two counterpropagating traveling-wave modes in an optical ring cavity. In contrast to the more familiar case where the condensate is driven by the standing-wave field of a high-$Q$ Fabry-P{é}rot cavity we find that both symmetric and antisymmetric collective density side modes of the BEC are mechanically excited by the light field. In the semiclassical, mean-field limit where the light field and the zero-momentum mode of the condensate are treated classically the system is found to exhibi…
We numerically examine slow and hierarchical relaxation dynamics of interacting bosons described by a tilted two-band Bose-Hubbard model. The system is found to exhibit signatures of quantum chaos within the spectrum and the validity of the eigenstate thermalization hypothesis for relevant physical observables is demonstrated for certain parameter regimes. Using the truncated Wigner representation in the semiclassical limit of the system, dynamics of relevant observables reveal hierarchical relaxation and the appearance of prethermalized states is studied from the perspective of statistics of …
In the two decades since the appearance of the book "Bose-Einstein Condensation" in 1995, there have been a number of developments in our understanding of dense matter. After a brief overview of neutron star structure and the Bose-Einstein condensed phases that have been proposed, we describe selected topics, including neutron and proton pairing gaps, the physics of the inner crust of neutron stars, where a neutron fluid penetrates a lattice of nuclei, meson condensates, and pairing in dense quark matter. Especial emphasis is placed on basic physical effects and on connections to the physics o…
We investigate the nonequilibrium dynamics of two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensates in boxlike traps with power-law potential boundaries by quenching the interatomic interactions. For both concave and convex potentials, we show that ring dark solitons can be excited during the quench dynamics. The modulation strength of the quench and the steepness of the boundary are two main factors affecting the evolution of the system. Five dynamic regimes are identified concerning the number of ring dark solitons excited in the condensate. For the situation without ring dark soliton excitations, the c…
We provide a classification of the possible flow of two-component Bose-Einstein condensates evolving from initially discontinuous profiles. We consider the situation where the dynamics can be reduced to the consideration of a single polarization mode (also denoted as "magnetic excitation") obeying a system of equations equivalent to the Landau-Lifshitz equation for an easy-plane ferro-magnet. We present the full set of one-phase periodic solutions. The corresponding Whitham modulation equations are obtained together with formulas connecting their solutions with the Riemann invariants of the mo…
We study the evolution of correlations in a quasi-2D dipolar gas driven out-of-equilibrium by a sudden ramp of the interaction strength. For sufficiently strong ramps, the momentum distribution, excited fraction and density-density correlation function all display pronounced features that are directly related to the appearance of a roton minimum in the underlying spectrum. Our study suggests that the evolution of correlations following a quench can be used as a probe of roton-like excitations in a dipolar gas. We also find that the build up of density-density correlations following a quench oc…

We explore the many-body phases of a two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate with cavity-mediated dynamic spin-orbit coupling. By the help of two transverse non-interfering, counterpropagating pump lasers and a single standing-wave cavity mode, two degenerate Zeeman sub-levels of the quantum gas are Raman coupled in a double-$Λ$-configuration. Beyond a critical pump strength the cavity mode is populated via coherent superradiant Raman scattering from the two pump lasers, leading to the appearance of a dynamical spin-orbit coupling for the atoms. We identify three quantum phases with distinct …
We consider large rings of weakly-coupled Bose-Einstein condensates, analyzing their transition to chaotic dynamics and loss of coherence. Initially, a ring is considered to be in an eigenstate, i.e. in a commensurate configuration with equal site fillings and equal phase differences between neighboring sites. Such a ring should exhibit a circulating current whose value will depend on the initial, non-zero phase difference. The appearance of such currents is a signature of an established coherence along the ring. If phase difference falls between $π/2$ and $3π/2$ and interparticle interaction …
Single-particle momentum spectra for a dynamically evolving one-dimensional Bose gas are analysed in the semi-classical wave limit. Representing one of the simplest correlation functions these give information about possible universal scaling behaviour. Motivated by the previously discovered connection between (quasi-)topological field configurations, strong wave turbulence, and nonthermal fixed points of quantum field dynamics, soliton formation is studied with respect to the appearance of transient power-law spectra. A random-soliton model is developed to describe the spectra analytically, a…
We theoretically study dilute superfluidity of spin-1 bosons with antiferromagnetic interactions and synthetic spin-orbit coupling (SOC) in a one-dimensional lattice. Employing a combination of density matrix renormalization group and quantum field theoretical techniques we demonstrate the appearance of a robust superfluid spin-liquid phase in which the spin-sector of this spinor Bose-Einstein condensate remains quantum disordered even after introducing quadratic Zeeman and helical magnetic fields. Despite remaining disordered, the presence of these symmetry breaking fields lifts the perfect s…
Realistic methods to create vortices in spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensates are discussed. It is shown that, contrary to common intuition, rotation of the trap containing a spin-orbit condensate does not lead to an equilibrium state with static vortex structures, but gives rise instead to non-equilibrium behavior described by an intrinsically time-dependent Hamiltonian. We propose here the following alternative methods to induce thermodynamically stable static vortex configurations: (1) to rotate both the lasers and the anisotropic trap; and (2) to impose a synthetic Abelian field on …
We study spatial spin and density self-ordering of a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate via collective Raman scattering into a linear cavity mode. The onset of the Dicke superradiance phase transition is marked by a simultaneous appearance of a crystalline density order and a spin-wave order. The latter spontaneously breaks the discrete $\mathbf{Z}_2$ symmetry between even and odd sites of the cavity optical potential. Moreover, in the superradiant state the continuous $U(1)$ symmetry of the relative phase of the two condensate wavefunctions is explicitly broken by the cavity-induced posit…
Correlations of luminescence intensity have been studied under Bose-Einstein condensation of dipolar excitons in the temperature range of 0.45-4.2 K. Photoexcited dipolar excitons were collected in a lateral trap in GaAs/AlGaAs Schottky-diode heterostructure with single wide (25 nm) quantum well under applied electric bias. Two-photon correlations were measured with the use of a classical Hanbury Brown - Twiss intensity interferometer (time resolution ~0.4 ns). Photon "bunching" has been observed near the Bose condensation threshold of dipolar excitons determined by the appearance of a narrow …
