Symplectic Lie algebras with degenerate center

Every symplectic Lie algebra with degenerate (including non-abelian nilpotent symplectic Lie algebras) has the structure of a quadratic extension. We give a standard model and describe the equivalence classes on the level of corresponding quadratic cohomology sets. Finally, we give a scheme to classify the isomorphism classes of symplectic Lie algebras with degenerate center. We also give a classification scheme for nilpotent symplectic Lie algebras and compute a complete list of all 6-dimensional nilpotent symplectic Lie algebras, which removes some little inaccuracies in an older list.

Affine hypersurfaces of arbitrary signature with an almost symplectic form

In this paper we study affine hypersurfaces with non-degenerate second fundamental form of arbitrary signature additionally equipped with an almost symplectic structure $ω$. We prove that if $R^pω=0$ or $\nabla^pω=0$ for some positive integer $p$ then the rank of the shape operator is at most one. The results provide complete classification of affine hypersurfaces with higher order parallel almost symplectic forms and are generalization of recently obtained results for Lorentzian affine hypersurfaces.

Two closed orbits for non-degenerate Reeb flows

We prove that every non-degenerate Reeb flow on a closed contact manifold $M$ admitting a strong symplectic filling $W$ with vanishing first Chern class carries at least two geometrically distinct closed orbits provided that the positive equivariant symplectic homology of $W$ satisfies a mild condition.
