In this note, we study the SYZ mirror construction for a toric Calabi-Yau manifold using instanton corrections coming from Woodward's quasimap Floer theory instead of Fukaya-Oh-Ohta-Ono's Lagrangian Floer theory. We study the Gromov-Witten theory of $K_{\mathsf{P}^1\times\mathsf{P}^1}$ and some Calabi-Yau hypersurface in toric variety. We give a direct geometric proof of the holomorphic anomaly euqation for $K_{\mathsf{P}^1\times\mathsf{P}^1}$ in the form predicted by B-model physics. The theorem combined with the wall-crossing formula appeared in paper (arXiv:1308.6377) implies mirror theorems of Zinger and Popa for the elliptic Gromov-Witten invariants for those varieties. This paper and the wall-crossing formula provide a unified framework for the mirror theory of rational and elliptic Gromov-Witten invariants.

We then study two parameter families of elliptically fibred Calabi-Yau fourfolds and describe the modular forms arising from the degeneracy loci. In the case of elliptically fibred Calabi-Yau threefolds our approach gives a mathematical proof of many observations about modularity properties of topological string amplitudes starting with the work of Candelas, Font, Katz and Morrison. Gromov-Witten theory is used to define an enumerative geometry of curves in Calabi-Yau 4-folds. The main technique is to find exact solutions to moving multiple cover integrals. We discuss Calabi-Yau and fractional Calabi-Yau semiorthogonal components of derived categories of coherent sheaves on smooth projective varieties. The main result is a general construction of a fractional Calabi-Yau category from a rectangular Lefschetz decomposition and a spherical functor. We give many examples of application of this construction and discuss some general properties of Calabi-Yau categories.

In this paper we present a construction of stable bundles on Calabi-Yau threefolds using the method of bundle extensions. This construction applies to any given Calabi-Yau threefold with h^{1,1}>1. We give examples of stable bundles of rank 2 and 4 constructed out of pure geometric data of the given Calabi-Yau space. As an application, we find that some of these bundles satisfy the physical constraint imposed by heterotic string anomaly cancellation.
