In this paper, we introduce the notions of pseudo-Riemannian, para-Hermitian and para- Kahler structures on hom-Lie algebras. In addition, we present the characterization of these structures. Also, we provide an example including these structures. We then introduce the phase space of a hom-Lie algebra and using the hom-left symmetric product, we show that a para-Kahler hom-Lie algebra gives a phase space and conversely, we can construct a para-Kahler hom-Lie algebra using a phase space.
We analyze degenerate homogeneous structures of linear type in the pseudo-Kähler and para-Kähler cases. The local form and the holonomy of pseudo-Kähler or para-Kähler manifolds admitting such structure are obtained. In addition the associated homogeneous models are studied exhibiting their relation with the incompleteness of the metric. The same questions are tackled in the pseudo-quaternion Kähler and para-quaternion Kähler cases. These results complete the study of homogeneous structures of linear type in pseudo-Kähler, para-Kähler, pseudo-quaternion Kähler and para-quaternion Kähler cases.
We study the class of non-degenerate homogeneous structures of linear type in the pseudo-Kähler, para-Kähler, pseudo-quaternion Kähler and para-quaternion Kähler cases. We show that these structures characterize spaces of constant holomorphic, para-holomorphic, quaternion and para-quaternion sectional curvature respectively. In addition the corresponding homogeneous models are computed, exhibiting the relation between these kind of structures and the incompleteness of the metric.
Given a non compact semisimple Lie group $G$ we describe all homogeneous spaces $G/L$ carrying an invariant almost Kähler structure $(ω,J)$. When $L$ is abelian and $G$ is of classical type, we classify all such spaces which are Chern-Einstein, i.e. which satisfy $ρ= λω$ for some $λ\in\mathbb R$, where $ρ$ is the Ricci form associated to the Chern connection.
A para-Kähler manifold can be defined as a pseudo-Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$ with a parallel skew-symmetric para-complex structures $K$, i.e. a parallel field of skew-symmetric endomorphisms with $ K^2 = \mathrm{Id} $ or, equivalently, as a symplectic manifold $(M,ω)$ with a bi-Lagrangian structure $L^\pm$, i.e. two complementary integrable Lagrangian distributions. A homogeneous manifold $M = G/H$ of a semisimple Lie group $G$ admits an invariant para-Kähler structure $(g,K)$ if and only if it is a covering of the adjoint orbit $\mathrm{Ad}_Gh$ of a semisimple element $h.$ We give a descript…
We classify six-dimensional homogeneous nearly Kähler manifolds and give a positive answer to Gray and Wolf's conjecture: every homogeneous nearly Kähler manifold is a Riemannian 3-symmetric space equipped with its canonical almost Hermitian structure. The only four examples in dimension 6 are $S^3 \times S^3$, the complex projective space $\CM P^3$, the flag manifold $\mathbb F^3$ and the sphere $S^6$. We develop, about each of these spaces, a distinct aspect of nearly Kähler geometry and make in the same time a sharp description of its specific homogeneous structure.
In the present paper, we describe two geometric notions, holomorphic Norden structures and Kähler-Norden structures on Hom-Lie groups, and prove that on Hom-Lie groups in the left invariant setting, these structures are related to each other. We study Kähler-Norden structures with abelian complex structures and give the curvature properties of holomorphic Norden structures on Hom-Lie groups. Finally, we show that any left-invariant holomorphic Hom-Lie group is a flat (holomorphic Norden Hom-Lie algebra carries a Hom-Left-symmetric algebra) if its left-invariant complex structure (complex struc…
We study the existence of three classes of Hermitian metrics on certain types of compact complex manifolds. More precisely, we consider balanced, SKT and astheno-Kähler metrics. We prove that the twistor spaces of compact hyperkähler and negative quaternionic-Kähler manifolds do not admit astheno-Kähler metrics. Then we provide examples of astheno-Kähler structures on toric bundles over Kähler manifolds. In particular, we find examples of compact complex non-Kähler manifolds which admit a balanced and an astheno-Kähler metrics, thus answering to a question in [52] (see also [24]). One of these…
Complex and Hermitian structures on hom-Lie algebras are introduced and some examples of these structures are presented. Also, it is shown that there not exists a proper complex (Hermitian) home-Lie algebra of dimension two. Then using a hom-left symmetric algebra, a phase space is provided and then a complex structure on it, is presented. Finally, the notion of Kahler hom-Lie algebra is introduced and then using a Kahler hom-Lie algebra, a phase space is constructed.
The space $SL(2,\mathbb{R})\times SL(2,\mathbb{R})$ admits a natural homogeneous pseudo-Riemannian nearly Kaehler structure. We investigate almost complex surfaces in this space. In particular we obtain a complete classification of the totally geodesic almost complex surfaces and of the almost complex surfaces with parallel second fundamental form.
In this paper, we give a lower bound of Bergman kernels for a sequence of almost Kähler-Einstein Fano manifolds, or more general, a sequence of Fano manifolds with almost Kähler-Ricci solitons. This generalizes a result by Donaldson-Sun, Tian for Kähler-Einstein manifolds sequence with positive scalar curvature. As an application of our result, we prove that the Gromov-Hausdorff limit of sequence is homomorphic to a log terminal $Q$-Fano variety which admits a Kähler-Ricci soliton on its smooth part.
The present work is devoted to compact completely solvable solvmanifolds which admit Kahlerian metrics whose Kahler forms are homogeneous. In particular, we show that such manifolds are diffeomorphic to flat tori. Our proof is based on Dynkin diagrams associated to left invariant closed 2-forms in completely solvable Lie groups. These diagrams are shown to be closely related to Lagrangian foliations, primitive degrees of homogeneous spaces, and geometric structures such as $(\bkR^ n, Aff (\bkR^ n))$-structures on symplectic homogeneous spaces.
In this article, we show that a hypersurface of the nearly Kahler $CP^3$ or $F_{1,2}$ cannot have its shape operator and induced almost contact structure commute together. This settles the question for six-dimensional homogeneous nearly Kahler manifolds, as the cases of $S^6$ and $S^3 \times S^3$ were previously solved, and provides a counterpart to the more classical question for the complex space forms $CP^n$ and $CH^n$. The proof relies heavily on the construction of $CP^3$ and $F_{1,2}$ as twistor spaces of $S^4$ and $CP^2$
We study Lie algebras admitting para-Kähler and hyper-para-Kähler structures. We give new characterizations of these Lie algebras and we develop many methods to build large classes of examples. Bai considered para-Kähler Lie algebras as left symmetric bialgebras. We reconsider this point of view and improve it in order to obtain some new results. The study of para-Kähler and hyper-para-Kähler is intimately linked to the study of left symmetric algebras and, in particular, those admitting invariant symplectic forms. In this paper, we give many new classes of left symmetric algebras and a comple…
The subject of this paper is six-dimensional nearly (para-)Kähler geometry with pseudo-Riemannian metrics. Firstly, we derive the analogue of the well-known exterior differential system characterising a nearly Kähler manifold and prove applications to the automorphism group of a nearly (para-)Kähler structure. Secondly, we prove existence and uniqueness results for left-invariant nearly (para-)Kähler structures on Lie groups $G \times G$ where $G$ is three-dimensional and simple.

We establish the convexity of Mabuchi's K-energy functional along weak geodesics in the space of Kahler potentials on a compact Kahler manifold thus confirming a conjecture of Chen and give some applications in Kahler geometry, including a proof of the uniqueness of constant scalar curvature metrics (or more generally extremal metrics) modulo automorphisms. The key ingredient is a new local positivity property of weak solutions to the homogenuous Monge-Ampere equation on a product domain, whose proof uses plurisubharmonic variation of Bergman kernels.
The Berezin quantization on a simply connected homogeneous Kähler manifold, which is considered as a phase space for a dynamical system, enables a description of the quantal system in a (finite-dimensional) Hilbert space of holomorphic functions corresponding to generalized coherent states. The Lie algebra associated with the manifold symmetry group is given in terms of first-order differential operators. In the classical theory, the Lie algebra is represented by the momentum maps which are functions on the manifold, and the Lie product is the Poisson bracket given by the Kähler structure. The…
We generalize the results of Song-Zelditch on geodesics in spaces of Kahler metrics on toric varieties to harmonic maps of any compact Riemannian manifold with boundary into the space of Kahler metrics on a toric variety. We show that the harmonic map equation can always be solved and that such maps may be approximated in the C^2 topology by harmonic maps into the spaces of Bergman metrics. In particular, WZW maps, or equivalently solutions of a homogeneous Monge-Ampere equation on the product of the manifold with a Riemann surface with S^1 boundary admit such approximations. We also show that…
A locally conformally Kahler (LCK) manifold is a complex manifold admitting a Kahler covering, with the monodromy acting on this covering by homotheties. We define three cohomology invariants, the Lee class, the Morse-Novikov class, and the Bott-Chern class, of an LCK-structure. These invariants together play the same role as the Kahler class in Kahler geometry. If these classes for two LCK-structures coincide, the difference between these structures can be expressed by a smooth potential, similar to the Kahler case. We show that the Morse-Novikov class and the Bott-Chern class of a Vaisman ma…
