In this paper we refine the main result of a previous paper of the author with Grimeland on derived invariants of surface algebras. We restrict to the case where the surface is a torus with one boundary component and give an easily computable derived invariant for such surface algebras. This result permits to give answers to open questions on gentle algebras: it provides examples of gentle algebras with the same AG-invariant (in the sense of Avella-Alaminos and Geiss) that are not derived equivalent and gives a partial positive answer to a conjecture due to Bobiński and Malicki on gentle $2$-cycles algebras.

Torus actions on stable module categories, Picard groups, and localizing subcategories

Given an abelian $p$-group $G$ of rank $n$, we construct an action of the torus $\mathbb{T}^n$ on the stable module $\infty$-category of $G$-representations over a field of characteristic $p$. A topological approach to Soergel theory

We develop a "Soergel theory" for Bruhat-constructible perverse sheaves on the flag variety $G/B$ of a complex reductive group $G$, with coefficients in an arbitrary field $\Bbbk$. Classification of simple $W_n$-modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces

We classify all simple $W_n$-modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces. Every such module is either of a highest weight type or is a quotient of a module of tensor fields on a torus, which was conjectured by Eswara Rao. This generalizes the classical result of Mathieu on simple weight modules for the Virasoro algebra. The derived category of a GIT quotient

Given a quasiprojective algebraic variety with a reductive group action, we describe a relationship between its equivariant derived category and the derived category of its geometric invariant theory quotient. Quantum character varieties and braided module categories

We compute quantum character varieties of arbitrary closed surfaces with boundaries and marked points. These are categorical invariants $\int_S\mathcal A$ of a surface $S$, determined by the choice of a braided tensor category $\mathcal A$, and computed via factorization homology. Hypertoric category O

We study the representation theory of the invariant subalgebra of the Weyl algebra under a torus action, which we call a "hypertoric enveloping algebra." We define an analogue of BGG category O for this algebra, and identify it with a certain category of sheaves on a hypertoric variety. We prove that a regular block of this category is highest weight and Koszul, identify its Koszul dual, compute its center, and study its cell structure. Fusion categories for affine vertex algebras at admissible levels

The main result is that the category of ordinary modules of an affine vertex operator algebra of a simply laced Lie algebra at admissible level is rigid and thus a braided fusion category. If the level satisfies a certain coprime property then it is even a modular tensor category. In all cases open Hopf links coincide with the corresponding normalized S-matrix entries of torus one-point functions. This is interpreted as a Verlinde formula beyond rational vertex operator algebras. A preparatory Theorem is a convenient formula for the fusion rules of rational principal W-algebras of any type.

The Picard Group of a Noncommutative Algebraic Torus

We compute the Picard group $ Pic(A_q) $ of the noncommutative algebraic 2-torus $A_q$, describe its action on the space $ R(A_q) $ of isomorphism classes of rk 1 projective modules and classify the algebras Morita equivalent to $ A_q $. Our computations are based on a quantum version of the Calogero-Moser correspondence relating projective $A_q$-modules to irreducible representations of the double affine Hecke algebras (DAHA) $ H_{t, q^{-1/2}}(S_n) $ at $ t = 1 $.
