Let $A^p_ω$ denote the Bergman space in the unit disc $\mathbb{D}$ of the complex plane induced by a radial weight $ω$ with the doubling property $\int_{r}^1ω(s)\,ds\le C\int_{\frac{1+r}{2}}^1ω(s)\,ds$. The tent space $T^q_s(ν,ω)$ consists of functions such that
\begin{equation*}
\begin{split}
\|f\|_{T^q_s(ν,ω)}^q
=\int_{\mathbb{D}}\left(\int_{Γ(ζ)}|f(z)|^s\,dν(z)\right)^\frac{q}sω(ζ)\,dA(ζ)
<\infty,\quad 0<q,s<\infty.
\end{split}
\end{equation*} Here $Γ(ζ)$ is a non-tangential approach region with vertex $ζ$ in the punctured unit disc $\mathbb{D}\setminus\{0\}$. We characterize the positive Borel measures $ν$ such that $A^p_ω$ is embedded into the tent space $T^q_s(ν,ω)$, where $1+\frac{s}{p}-\frac{s}{q}>0$, by considering a generalized area operator. The results are provided in terms of Carleson measures for $A^p_ω$.
In this paper, a family of holomorphic spaces of tent type in the unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^n$ is introduced, which is closely related to maximal and area integral functions in terms of the Bergman metric. It is shown that these spaces coincide with Bergman spaces. Furthermore, Littlewood-Paley type $g$-functions for the Bergman spaces are introduced in terms of the radial derivative, the complex gradient, and the invariant gradient. The corresponding characterizations for Bergman spaces are obtained as well. As an application, we obtain new maximal and area integral characterizations for Hardy…
Let $A^p_ω$ denote the Bergman space in the unit disc induced by a radial weight~$ω$ with the doubling property $\int_{r}^1ω(s)\,ds\le C\int_{\frac{1+r}{2}}^1ω(s)\,ds$. The positive Borel measures such that the differentiation operator of order $n\in\mathbb{N}\cup\{0\}$ is bounded from $A^p_ω$ into $L^q(μ)$ are characterized in terms of geometric conditions when $0<p,q<\infty$. En route to the proof a theory of tent spaces for weighted Bergman spaces is built.
Introduced by Coifman, Meyer, and Stein, the tent spaces have seen wide applications in Harmonic Analysis. Their analytic cousins have seen some applications involving the derivatives of Hardy space functions. Moreover, the tent spaces have been a recent focus of research. We introduce the concept of interpolating and sampling sequences for analytic tent spaces analogously to the same concepts for Bergman spaces. We then characterize such sequences in terms of Seip's upper and lower uniform density. We accomplish this by exploiting a kind of Möbius invariance for the tent spaces.
We completely characterize the boundedness of the Volterra type integration operators $J_b$ acting from the weighted Bergman spaces $A^p_α$ to the Hardy spaces $H^q$ of the unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^n$ for all $0<p,q<\infty$. A partial solution to the case $n=1$ was previously obtained by Z. Wu in \cite{Wu}. We solve the cases left open there and extend all the results to the setting of arbitrary complex dimension $n$. Our tools involve area methods from harmonic analysis, Carleson measures and Kahane-Khinchine type inequalities, factorization tricks for tent spaces of sequences, as well as tec…
In this paper, we survey some recent results about the asymptotic expansion of Bergman kernel and we give a Bergman kernel proof of Kodaira embedding theorem.
We give embedding theorems for weighted Bergman-Orlicz spaces on the ball and then apply our results to the study of composition operators in this context. As one of the motivations of this work, we show that there exist some weighted Bergman-Orlicz spaces, different from $H^{\infinity}$, on which every composition operator is bounded.
We prove Carleson embeddings for Bergman spaces of tube domains over symmetric cones, we apply them to characterize symbols of bounded Cesàro-type operators from weighted Bergman spaces to weighted Besov spaces. We also obtain Schatten class criteria of Toeplitz operators and Cesàro-type operators on weighted Hilbert-Bergman spaces.
We study the holomorphic tent spaces $\mathcal{HT}^p_{q,α}(\Bn)$, which are motivated by the area function description of the Hardy spaces on one hand, and the maximal function description of the Hardy spaces on the other. Characterizations for these spaces under general fractional differential operators are given. We describe the dual of $\mathcal{HT}^p_{q,α}(\Bn)$ for the full range $0<p,q<\infty$ and $α>-n-1$. Here the case $1<p<\infty$, $q\leq 1$ leads us to the Hardy-Bloch type spaces $\mathcal{BT}^{p}(\Bn)$ and $\mathcal{BT}^{p,0}(\Bn)$, the latter being the predual of $\mathcal{HT}^p_{1…
In this paper we characterize off-diagonal Carleson embeddings for both Hardy-Orlicz spaces and Bergman-Orlicz spaces of the upper-half plane. We use these results to obtain embedding relations and pointwise multipliers between these spaces.
We characterize the Carleson measures for an exponential Bergman space on the unit ball of $\mathbb C^n$ in terms of the ball induced by the complex Hessian of the logarithm of the weight function. The boundedness (or compactness) of integral operators, Cesàro operators and Toeplitz operators, is given using the Carleson measure (or vanishing Carleson measure) characterization.
A natural class of weighted Bergman spaces on the symmetrized polydisc is isometrically embedded as a subspace in the corresponding weighted Bergman space on the polydisc. We find an orthonormal basis for this subspace. It enables us to compute the kernel function for the weighted Bergman spaces on the symmetrized polydisc using the explicit nature of our embedding. This family of kernel functions include the Szegö and the Bergman kernel on the symmetrized polydisc.
We observe that local embedding problems for certain Hardy and Bergman spaces of Dirichlet series are equivalent to boundedness of a class of composition operators. Following this, we perform a careful study of such composition operators generated by polynomial symbols $φ$ on a scale of Bergman--type Hilbert spaces $\mathcal{D}_α$. We investigate the optimal $β$ such that the composition operator $\mathcal{C}_φ$ maps $\mathcal{D}_α$ boundedly into $\mathcal{D}_β$. We also prove a new embedding theorem for the non-Hilbertian Hardy space $\mathcal H^p$ into a Bergman space in the half-plane and …
Bounded and compact generalized weighted composition operators acting from the weighted Bergman space $A^p_ω$, where $0<p<\infty$ and $ω$ belongs to the class $\mathcal{D}$ of radial weights satisfying a two-sided doubling condition, to a Lebesgue space $L^q_ν$ are characterized. On the way to the proofs a new embedding theorem on weighted Bergman spaces $A^p_ω$ is established. This last-mentioned result generalizes the well-known characterization of the boundedness of the differentiation operator $D^n(f)=f^{(n)}$ from the classical weighted Bergman space $A^p_α$ to the Lebesgue space $L^q_μ$,…
Using Carleson measure theorem of weighted Bergman spaces, we provide a complete characterization of embedding theorem for Dirichlet type spaces. As an application, we study the Volterra integral operator and multipliers for Dirichlet type spaces.
We obtain a new general sufficient condition for the continuity of the Bergman projection in tube domains over symmetric cones using multifunctional embeddings.We also obtain some sharp embedding relations between the generalized Hilbert-HArdy spaces and the mixed norm Bergman spaces in this setting.
We obtain new characterizations for Bergman spaces with standard weights in terms of Lipschitz type conditions in the Euclidean, hyperbolic, and pseudo-hyperbolic metrics. As a consequence, we prove optimal embedding theorems when an analytic function on the unit disk is symmetrically lifted to the bidisk.
In this paper we solve a problem posed by H. Bommier-Hato, M. Engliš and E.H. Youssfi in [3] on the boundedness of the Bergman-type projections in generalized Fock spaces. It will be a consequence of two facts: a full description of the embeddings between generalized Fock-Sobolev spaces and a complete characterization of the boundedness of the above Bergman type projections between weighted $L^p$-spaces related to generalized Fock-Sobolev spaces.
This paper gives embedding theorems for a very general class of weighted Bergman spaces: the results include a number of classical Carleson embedding theorems as special cases. We also consider little Hankel operators on these Bergman spaces. Next, a study is made of Carleson embeddings in the right half-plane induced by taking the Laplace transform of functions defined on the positive half-line (these embeddings have applications in control theory): particular attention is given to the case of a sectorial measure or a measure supported on a strip, and complete necessary and sufficient conditi…
Let $ϕ$ be an analytic self-map of the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ and $g$ analytic in $\mathbb{D}$. We characterize boundedness and compactness of generalized Volterra type integral operators $$GI_{(ϕ,g)}f(z)= \int_{0}^{z}f'(ϕ(ξ))\,g(ξ)\, dξ$$ and $$GV_{ (ϕ, g)}f(z)= \int_{0}^{z} f(ϕ(ξ))\,g(ξ)\, dξ, $$ acting between large Bergman spaces $A^p_ω$ and $A^q_ω$ for $0<p,q\le \infty$. To prove our characterizations, which involve Berezin type integral transforms, we use the Littlewood-Paley formula of Constantin and Peláez and establish corresponding embedding theorems, which are also of independe…

We consider a Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem on finite sequences of the unit disc D constrained by Hardy and radial-weighted Bergman norms. We find sharp asymptotics on the corresponding interpolation constants. As another application of our techniques we prove embedding theorems for rational functions. We find that the embedding of H $\infty$ into Hardy or radial-weighted Bergman spaces in D is invertible on the subset of rational functions of a given degree n whose poles are separated from the unit circle and obtain asymptotically sharp estimates of the corresponding embedding constan…
Sobolev regularity of the Bergman and Szegö projections in terms of $\overline{\partial}\oplus\overline{\partial}^{*}$ and $\overline{\partial}_{b}\oplus\overline{\partial}_{b}^{*}$
The Hilbert spaces $\mathscr{H}_{w}$ consisiting of Dirichlet series $F(s)=\sum_{ n = 1}^\infty a_n n^{ -s }$ that satisfty $\sum_{ n=1 }^\infty | a_n |^2/ w_n < \infty$, with $\{w_n\}_n$ of average order $\log_j n$ (the $j$-fold logarithm of $n$), can be embedded into certain small Bergman spaces. Using this embedding, we study the Gordon--Hedenmalm theorem on such $\mathscr{H}_w$ from an iterative point of view. By that theorem, the composition operators are generated by functions of the form $Φ(s) = c_0s + ϕ(s)$, where $c_0$ is a nonnegative integer and $ϕ$ is a Dirichlet series with certai…
In this paper, we study the behavior of the weighted composition operators acting on Bergman spaces defined on strictly pseudoconvex domains via the sparse domination technique from harmonic analysis. As a byproduct, we also prove a weighted type estimate for the weighted composition operators which is adapted to Sawyer-testing conditions. Our results extend the work by the first author, Li, Shi and Wick under a much more general setting.
The boundedness and compactness of weighted composition operators on the Hardy space ${\mathcal H}^2$ of the unit disc is analysed. Particular reference is made to the case when the self-map of the disc is an inner function. Schatten-class membership is also considered; as a result, stronger forms of the two main results of a recent paper of Gunatillake are derived. Finally, weighted composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces $\mathcal{A}^2 α(\mathbb{D})$ are considered, and the results of Harper and Smith, linking their properties to those of Carleson embeddings, are extended to this si…
Let $μ$ be a nonnegative Borel measure on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}\subset\mathbb{C}$. This note shows how to decide that the Möbius invariant space $\mathcal{Q}_p$, covering $\mathcal{BMOA}$ and $\mathcal{B}$, is boundedly (resp., compactly) embedded in the quadratic tent-type space $T^\infty_p(μ)$. Interestingly, the embedding result can be used to determine the boundedness (resp., the compactness) of the Volterra-type and multiplication operators on $\mathcal{Q}_p$.
This paper is devoted to characterizing the Riemann-Stieltjes operators and pointwise multipliers acting on M${\rm \ddot{o}}$bius invariant spaces $Q_p$, which unify BMOA and Bloch space in the scale of $p$. The boundedness and compactness of these operators on $Q_p$ spaces are determined by means of an embedding theorem, i.e. $Q_p$ spaces boundedly embedded in the non-isotropic tent type spaces $T_q^\infty$.
We characterize those pairs of weights $ σ$ on $ \mathbb{R}$ and $ τ$ on $ \mathbb{C}_+$ for which the Cauchy transform $\mathsf{C}_σ f (z) \equiv \int_{\mathbb{R}} \frac {f(x)} {x-z} \; σ(dx)$, $ z\in \mathbb{C}_+$, is bounded from $L ^2(\mathbb{R};σ)$ to $L ^{2}(\mathbb{C}_+; τ)$. The characterization is in terms of an $A_2$ condition on the pair of weights and testing conditions for the transform, extending the recent solution of the two weight inequality for the Hilbert transform. As corollaries of this result we derive (1) a characterization of embedding measures for the model space $K_\v…
