In this paper we consider the controllability of certain class of non-autonomous neutral evolution stochastic functional differential equations, with time varying delays, driven by a fractional Brownian motion in a separable real Hilbert space. Sufficient conditions for controllability are obtained by employing a fixed point approach. A practical example is provided to illustrate the viability of the abstract result of this work.
In this paper we study the controllability results of impulsive neutral stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay driven by fractional Brownian motion in a real separable Hilbert space. The controllability results are obtained using stochastic analysis and a fixed-point strategy. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical result.
This paper focuses on controllability results of stochastic delay partial functional integro-differential equations perturbed by fractional Brownian motion. Sufficient conditions are established using the theory of resolvent operators combined with a fixed point approach for achieving the required result. An example is provided to illustrate the theory.

In this article we investigate the controllability for neutral stochastic functional integro-differential equations with finite delay, driven by a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter lesser than $1/2$ in a Hilbert space. We employ the theory of resolvent operators combined with the Banach fixed point theorem to establish sufficient conditions to prove the desired result
We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for equivalence of law for linear stochastic evolution equations driven by a general Gaussian noise by identifying the suitable space of controls for the corresponding deterministic control problem. This result is applied to semilinear (reaction-diffusion) equations driven by a fractional Brownian motion. We establish the equivalence of continuous dependence of laws of solutions to semilinear equations on the initial datum in the topology of pointwise convergence of measures and null controllability for the corresponding deterministic control probl…
In this paper, we investigate suffcient and necessary conditions for the comparison theorem of neutral stochastic functional differential equations driven by G-Brownian motion (G-NSFDE). Moreover, the results extend the ones in the linear expectation case [1] and nonlinear expectation framework [8].
In this paper we consider a class of time-dependent neutral stochastic functional differential equations with finite delay driven by a fractional Brownian motion in a Hilbert space. We prove an existence and uniqueness result for the mild solution by means of the Banach fixed point principle. A practical example is provided to illustrate the viability of the abstract result of this work.
In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of mild solution for a stochastic neutral partial functional integro-differential equation with delay in a Hilbert space driven by a fractional Brownian motion and with non-deterministic diffusion coefficient. We suppose that the linear part has a resolvent operator. We also establish a sufficient condition for the existence of the density of a function of the solution. An example is provided to illustrate the results of this work
In this note we consider a class of neutral stochastic functional differential equations with finite delay driven simultaneously by a fractional Brownian motion and a Poisson point processes in a Hilbert space. We prove an existence and uniqueness result and we establish some conditions ensuring the exponential decay to zero in mean square for the mild solution by means of the Banach fixed point principle.
In this article, we study the controllability issues of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert Equations (LLGEs), accompanied with non-zero exchange energy only, in an interval in one spatial dimension with Neumann boundary conditions. The paper is of twofold. In the first part of the paper, we study the controllability issues of the LLGEs. The control force acting here is degenerate i.e., it acts through a few numbers of low mode frequencies. We exploit the Fourier series expansion of the solution. We borrow methods of differential geometric control theory (Lie bracket generating property) to establish …
This paper is concerned with strong convergence of a tamed $θ$-Euler-Maruyama scheme for neutral stochastic differential delay equations with superlinearly growing coefficients. We not only prove the strong convergence of implicit schemes, but also reveal the convergence rate for these equations driven by Brownian motion and pure jumps, respectively.
In this paper, we are concerned with convergence rate of Euler-Maruyama (EM) scheme for stochastic differential delay equations (SDDEs) of neutral type, where the neutral term, the drift term and the diffusion term are allowed to be of polynomial growth. More precisely, for SDDEs of neutral type driven by Brownian motions, we reveal that the convergence rate of the corresponding EM scheme is one half; Whereas for SDDEs of neutral type driven by jump processes, we show that the best convergence rate of the associated EM scheme is close to one half.
This paper is concerned with strong convergence and almost sure convergence for neutral stochastic differential delay equations under non-globally Lipschitz continuous coefficients. Convergence rates of $θ$-EM schemes are given for these equations driven by Brownian motion and pure jumps respectively, where the drift terms satisfy locally one-sided Lipschitz conditions, and diffusion coefficients obey locally Lipschitz conditions, and the corresponding coefficients are highly nonlinear with respect to the delay terms.
In this paper, we study the question of existence and uniqueness of solution of neutral stochastic functional differential equations driven by G- Brownian motion (GNSFDEs in short) on Banach space driven by relaxed controls in which the neutral term and diffusion do not depend on the control variable. By using tightness techniques and the weak convergence techniques for each probability measure in the set of all possible probabilities of our dynamic, we prove the existence of an optimal relaxed control. A motivation of are work is presented and a Numerical analysis for the uncontrolled G-NSFDE…
This study deals with the problem of pricing compound options when the underlying asset follows a mixed fractional Brownian motion with jumps. An analytic formula for compound options is derived under the risk neutral measure. Then, these results are applied to value extendible options. Moreover, some special cases of the formula are discussed and numerical results are provided.
We ask the question "when will natural selection on a gene in a spatially structured population cause a detectable trace in the patterns of genetic variation observed in the contemporary population?". We focus on the situation in which 'neighbourhood size', that is the effective local population density, is small. The genealogy relating individuals in a sample from the population is embedded in a spatial version of the ancestral selection graph and through applying a diffusive scaling to this object we show that whereas in dimensions at least three, selection is barely impeded by the spatial s…
Consider a random permutation of $\{1, \ldots, \lfloor n^{t_2}\rfloor\}$ drawn according to the Ewens measure with parameter $t_1$ and let $K(n, t)$ denote the number of its cycles, where $t\equiv (t_1, t_2)\in\mathbb [0, 1]^2$. Next, consider a sample drawn from a large, neutral population of haploid individuals subject to mutation under the infinitely many sites model of Kimura whose genealogy is governed by Kingman's coalescent. Let $S(n, t)$ count the number of segregating sites in a sample of size $\lfloor n^{t_2}\rfloor$ when mutations arrive at rate $t_1/2$. Our main result comprises tw…
In this paper, we address exponential ergodicity for Lévy driven Langevin dynamics with singular potentials, which can be used to model the time evolution of a molecular system consisting of $N$ particles moving in $\R^d$ and subject to discontinuous stochastic forces. In particular, our results are applicable to the singular setups concerned with not only the Lennard-Jones-like interaction potentials but also the Coulomb potentials. In addition to Harris' theorem, the approach is based on novel constructions of proper Lyapunov functions (which are completely different from the setting for Lan…
We consider differential equations driven by rough paths and study the regularity of the laws and their long time behavior. In particular, we focus on the case when the driving noise is a rough path valued fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H\in(\frac{1}{3},\frac{1}{2}]$. Our contribution in this work is twofold. First, when the driving vector fields satisfy Hörmander's celebrated "Lie bracket condition," we derive explicit quantitative bounds on the inverse of the Malliavin matrix. En route to this, we provide a novel "deterministic" version of Norris's lemma for differential eq…
Given a closed, bounded convex set $\mathcal{W}\subset{\mathbb {R}}^d$ with nonempty interior, we consider a control problem in which the state process $W$ and the control process $U$ satisfy \[W_t= w_0+\int_0^t\vartheta(W_s) ds+\int_0^tσ(W_s) dZ_s+GU_t\in \mathcal{W},\qquad t\ge0,\] where $Z$ is a standard, multi-dimensional Brownian motion, $\vartheta,σ\in C^{0,1}(\mathcal{W})$, $G$ is a fixed matrix, and $w_0\in\mathcal{W}$. The process $U$ is locally of bounded variation and has increments in a given closed convex cone $\mathcal{U}\subset{\mathbb{R}}^p$. Given $g\in C(\mathcal{W})$, $κ\in{…
In this article, we consider a Markov process X, starting from x and solving a stochastic differential equation, which is driven by a Brownian motion and an independent pure jump component exhibiting state-dependent jump intensity and infinite jump activity. A second order expansion is derived for the tail probability P[X(t)>x+y] in small time t, for y>0. As an application of this expansion and a suitable change of the underlying probability measure, a second order expansion, near expiration, for out-of-the-money European call option prices is obtained when the underlying stock price is modele…
This paper develops, in a Brownian information setting, an approach for analyzing the preference for information, a question that motivates the stochastic differential utility (SDU) due to Duffie and Epstein [Econometrica 60 (1992) 353-394]. For a class of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) including the generalized SDU [Lazrak and Quenez Math. Oper. Res. 28 (2003) 154-180], we formulate the information neutrality property as an invariance principle when the filtration is coarser (or finer) and characterize it. We also provide concrete examples of heterogeneity in information t…
In a series of recent papers and in a book, this author put forward a mathematical model capable of embracing the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence (SETI), Darwinian Evolution and Human History into a single, unified statistical picture, concisely called Evo-SETI. The relevant mathematical tools are: (1) Geometric Brownian motion (GBM), the stochastic process representing evolution as the stochastic increase of the number of species living on Earth over the last 3.5 billion years. This GBM is well known in the mathematics of finances (Black-Sholes models). (2) The probability distribut…
