An explicit chain complex is constructed to calculate the derived functors of destabilization at an odd prime, generalizing constructions of Zarati and of Hung and Sum. The methods are based on the ideas of Singer and Miller and also apply at the prime two. A structural result on the derived functors of destabilization is deduced.

We study completion with respect to the iterated suspension functor on $\mathcal{O}$-algebras, where $\mathcal{O}$ is a reduced operad in symmetric spectra. This completion is the unit of a derived adjunction comparing $\mathcal{O}$-algebras with coalgebras over the associated iterated suspension-loop homotopical comonad via the iterated suspension functor. Starting with a Z-graded superconnection on a graded vector bundle over a smooth manifold M, we show how Chen's iterated integration of such a superconnection over smooth simplices in M gives an A-infinity functor if and only if the superconnection is flat. Generalising Segal's approach to 1-fold loop spaces, the homotopy theory of $n$-fold loop spaces is shown to be equivalent to the homotopy theory of reduced $Θ_n$-spaces, where $Θ_n$ is an iterated wreath product of the simplex category $Δ$. A sequence of functors from $Θ_n$ to $Γ$ allows for an alternative description of the Segal-spectrum associated to a $Γ$-space. By considering labeled configurations of ``bounded multiplicity'', one can construct a functor that fits between homology and stable homotopy.
