A logamediate inflationary model in the presence of the tachyon scalar field will be studied. Considering slow-roll inflation, the equations of motion of the universe and the tachyon field will be derived. In the context of perturbation theory, some important perturbation parameters will be obtained and using numerical calculations the consistency of our model with observational data will be illustrated.
According to a Barrow's solution for the scale factor of the universe, the main properties of the tachyon inflation model in the framework of RSII braneworld are studied. Within this framework the basic slow-roll parameters are calculated analytically. We compare this inflationary scenario against the latest observational data. The predicted spectral index and the tensor-to-scalar fluctuation ratio are in excellent agreement with those of {\it Planck 2015}. The current predictions are consistent with those of viable inflationary models.
Tachyon inflationary universe model on the brane in the context of warm inflation is studied. In slow-roll approximation and in longitudinal gauge, we find the primoradial perturbation spectrums for this scenario. We also present the general expressions of the tensor-scalar ratio, scalar spectral index and its running. We develop our model by using exponential potential, the characteristics of this model are calculated in great details. We also study our model in the context of intermediate (where scale factor expands as: $a=a_0\exp(At^f)$) and logamediate (where the scale factor expands as: $…
In this work, we have analyzed two scenarios namely, "intermediate" and "logamadiate" scenarios for closed, open and flat anisotropic universe in presence of phantom field, normal tachyonic field and phantom tachyonic field. We have assumed that there is no interaction between the above mentioned dark energy and dark matter. In these two types of the scenarios of the universe, the nature of the scalar fields and corresponding potentials have been investigated. In intermediate scenario, (i) the potential for normal tachyonic field decreases, (ii) the potentials for phantom tachyonic field and p…
Warm inflationary universe models in the context of logamediate expansion are studied. General conditions required for these models to be realizable and discussed. This study is done in the weak and strong dissipative regimes. The parameters of our models are constrained from the observational data.
We study logamediate inflation in the context of $f(T)$ teleparallel gravity. $f(T)$-gravity is a generalization of the teleparallel gravity which is formulated on the Weitzenböck spacetime, characterized by the vanishing curvature tensor (absolute parallelism) and the non-vanishing torsion tensor. We consider an $f(T)$-gravity model which is sourced by a canonical scalar field. Assuming a power-law $f(T)$ function in the action, we investigate an inflationary universe with a logamediate scale factor. Our results show that, although logamediate inflation is completely ruled out by observationa…
The intermediate, logamediate and exponential inflationary models in the context of Galileon inflation or G-inflation are studied. By assuming a coupling of the form $G(ϕ,X)\proptoϕ^ν\,X^{n}$ in the action, we obtain different analytical solutions from the background cosmological perturbations assuming the slow-roll approximation. General conditions required for these models of G-inflation to be realizable are determined and discussed. In general, we analyze the condition of inflation and also we use recent astronomical and cosmological observations for constraining the parameters appearing in…
A computation of the inflationary observables n_{s} and r is made for `logamediate' inflation where the cosmological scale factor expands as $a=\exp (A(\ln t)^λ)$, and is compared to their predicted values in the intermediate inflationary theory, where $a=\exp (Bt^{f})$. Both versions prove to be consistent with observational measurements of the cosmic background radiation. It is shown that the dynamics of a single inflaton field can be mimicked by a system of several fields in an analogous manner to that created by the joint evolution of the fields in assisted power-law inflation.
In a logamediate inflationary universe model we introduce the curvaton field in order to bring this inflationary model to an end. In this approach we determine the reheating temperature. We also outline some interesting constraints on the parameters that describe our models. Thus, we give the parameter space in this scenario.
We study a general form for the dissipative coefficient $Γ(T,ϕ)=C_ϕ\,T^{m}/ϕ^{m-1}$ in the context of warm intermediate and logamediate inflationary universe models. We analyze these models in the weak and strong dissipative regimes. In the slow-roll approximation, we describe in great detail the characteristics of these models. In both regimes, we use recent data from the WMAP nine-year data and Planck data to constrain the parameters appearing in our models.
In this paper we study non-abelian gauge field inflation (gauge-flation) model in the context of intermediate and logamediate scenario. Important parameters of this model are presented for these two cases. Numerical study shows that the intermediate and logamediate gauge-flation are compatible with WMAP9 observational data. For intermediate inflation, where the cosmological scale factor expands as: $a(t)=a_0\exp(At^f)$ ($A>0, 0<f<1$), $N\geq 100$ cases lead to $0.02<r<0.11$ ($r$ is tensor-scalar ratio) and $N\simeq50 $ case leads to $n_s\simeq 0.96$ ($n_s$ is spectral index). These constraints…
We investigate the power-law, intermediate, and logamediate inflationary models in the framework of DBI non-canonical scalar field with constant sound speed. In the DBI setting, we first represent the power spectrum of both scalar density and tensor gravitational perturbations. Then, we derive different inflationary observables including the scalar spectral index $n_s$, the running of the scalar spectral index $dn_s/d\ln k$, and the tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$. We show that the 95\% CL constraint of the Planck 2015 T+E data on the non-Gaussianity parameter $f_{\rm NL}^{\rm DBI}$ leads to the so…
We consider an inflationary universe model in the context of generalized cosmic Chaplygin gas by taking matter field as standard and tachyon scalar fields. We evaluate the corresponding scalar fields and scalar potentials during intermediate and logamediate inflationary regimes by modifying the first Friedmann equation. In each case, we evaluate the number of e-folds, scalar as well as tensor power spectra, scalar spectral index and important observational parameter, i.e., tensor-scalar ratio in terms of inflatons. The graphical behavior of this parameter shows that the model remains incompati…
We propose a new model of inflation in the framework of brane cosmology in the presence of tachyonic field. we derive the expressions for the model parameters in brane inflation, and estimate the observable parameters numerically and find them to fit with the observational data.
This study concerns the consistency of the tachyon warm inflationary models. A linear stability analysis is performed to find the slow-roll conditions, characterized by the potential slow-roll (PSR) parameters, for the existence of a tachyon warm inflationary attractor in the system. The PSR parameters in the tachyon warm inflationary models are redefined. Two cases, an exponential potential and an inverse power-law potential, are studied, when the dissipative coefficient $Γ=Γ_0$ and $Γ=Γ(ϕ)$, respectively. A crucial condition is obtained for a tachyon warm inflationary model characterized by …
We study one-field open inflationary models in a universe dominated by tachyon matter. In these scenarios, we determine and characterize the existence of the Coleman-De Lucia (CDL) instanton. Also, we study the Lorentzian regime, that is, the period of inflation after tunnelling has occurred.
In this article we study an intermediate inflationary model in the context of Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati (DGP) cosmology caused by a tachyon scalar field. Considering slow-roll inflation we discuss the dynamics of the Universe. Using perturbation theory, we estimate some of the model parameters numerically and compare them with the recent results from Planck satellite.
We investigate the warm inflation condition in loop quantum cosmology. In our consideration, the system is described by a tachyon field interacted with radiation. The exponential potential function, $V(ϕ)=V_0 e^{-αϕ}\label{exp-p}$, with the same order parameters $V_0$ and $α$, is taken as an example of this tachyon warm inflation model. We find that, for the strong dissipative regime, the total number of e-folds is less than the one in the classical scenario, and for the weak dissipative regime, the beginning time of the warm inflation will be later than the tachyon (cool) inflation.
Warm inflationary universe model in a tachyon field theory is studied in the weak dissipative regime. We develop our model for an exponential potential and the dissipation parameter $Γ=Γ_0$=constant. We describe scalar and tensor perturbations for this scenario.
In this work we determine the power spectrum of the gravitational potential of the primordial fluctuations for an inflationary model whose \emph{inflaton} is a non-canonical scalar field of the tachyon-type. The respective background field equations for an inverse-square potential produce a power-law inflation, and it is explicitly shown that for such a potential the power spectrum tends to be scale-independent for highly accelerated regimes in the inflationary expansion.
This paper explores the dynamics of warm intermediate and logamediate inflationary models during weak dissipative regime with a general form of dissipative coefficient. We analyze these models within the framework of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I universe. In both cases, we evaluate solution of inflaton, effective scalar potential, dissipative coefficient, slow-roll parameters, scalar and tensor power spectra, scalar spectral index and tensor to scalar ratio under slow-roll approximation. We constrain the model parameters using recent data and conclude that anisotropic inflatio…
Loop quantum cosmology (LQC) predicts a nonsingular evolution of the universe through a bounce in the high energy region. We show that this is always true in tachyon matter LQC. Different from the classical Friedman-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmology, the super inflation can appear in the tachyon matter LQC; furthermore, the inflation can be extended to the region where classical inflation stops. Using numerical method, we give an evolution picture of the tachyon field with an exponential potential in the context of LQC. It indicates that the quantum dynamical solutions have the attractive behav…
This paper is devoted to study the warm inflation using vector fields in the background of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I universe model. We formulate the field equations, slow-roll and perturbation parameters (scalar and tensor power spectra as well as their spectral indices) under slow-roll approximation. We evaluate all these parameters in terms of directional Hubble parameter during intermediate and logamediate inflationary regimes by taking the dissipation factor as a function of scalar field as well as a constant. In each case, we calculate the observational parameter of i…
The aim of this paper is to explore warm inflation in the background of $f(\mathcal{G})$ theory of gravity using scalar fields for the FRW universe model. We construct the field equations under slow-roll approximations and evaluate the slow-roll parameters, scalar and tensor power spectra and their corresponding spectral indices using viable power-law model. These parameters are evaluated for a constant as well as variable dissipation factor during intermediate and logamediate inflationary epochs. We also find the number of e-folds and tensor-scalar ratio for each case. The graphical behavior …
We investigate the observational signatures of quantum cosmology in the Cosmic Microwave Background data provided by Planck collaboration. We apply the warm inflationary paradigm with a tachyon scalar field to the loop quantum cosmology. In this context, we first provide the basic cosmological functions in terms of the tachyon field. We then obtain the slow-roll parameters and the power spectrum of scalar and tensor fluctuations respectively. Finally, we study the performance of various warm inflationary scenarios against the latest Planck data and we find a family of models which are in agree…
Assuming that the e-folding number is just determined by the change of the scale factor, the tachyonic inflation theory in LQC has been discussed. Considering the tachyon field with exponential potential and inverse quadratic potential, we find that the evolutionary pictures of super inflation are affected by the potentials and the initial conditions. However it cannot provide enough e-folding number, no matter which condition is chosen. Therefore a slow-rolling inflation is necessary. The e-folding number for slow-rolling inflation depends on the values of the parameter $α$ of the exponential…
In this paper, we have considered the curved universe which is filled by tachyonic field. We have found the exact solutions for the field, pressure, density, and scale factor and some cosmological parameters. In such universe, we have investigated the role of tachyonic field in different stages of k for the evolution of the universe. Finally we draw the graphs for the scale factor, Hubble's parameter, energy density, pressure, acceleration parameter, equation of state and potential for the different values of k. Also we obtained the exact form of field which shows that the tachyonic field has …
We study the main properties of the warm inflationary model based on Barrow's solution for the scale factor of the universe. Within this framework we calculate analytically the basic slow roll parameters for different versions of warm inflation. We test the performance of this inflationary scenario against the latest observational data and we verify that the predicted spectral index and the tensor-to-scalar fluctuation ratio are in excellent agreement with those of {\it Planck 2015}. Finally, we find that the current predictions are consistent with those of viable inflationary models.
Cosmological solution to the gravitational field equations in the generalized Randall-Sundrum model for an anisotropic brane with Bianchi I geometry and perfect fluid as matter sources has been considered. The matter on the brane is described by a tachyonic field. The solution admits inflationary era and at a later epoch the anisotropy of the universe washes out. We obtain two classes of cosmological scenario, in the first case universe evolves from singularity and in the second case universe expands without singularity.
Tachyon inflation is reconsidered by using the recent observational data obtained from Planck-2013 and BICEP2. The Hamilton-Jacobi formalism is picked out as a desirable approach in this work, which allows one to easily obtain the main parameters of the model. The Hubble parameter is supposed as a power-law and exponential function of the scalar field, and each case is considered separately. The constraints on the model, which come from observational data, are explained during the work. The results show a suitable value for the tensor spectral index and an appropriate form of the potential.
The scenario of two components warm tachyon inflation is considered where the tachyon field plays the role of inflaton and drives inflation. During inflation, the tachyon scalar field interacts with the other component of the Universe which is considered as photon gas, i.e. radiation. The interacting term contains a dissipation coefficient, and the study is modeled based on two different and familiar choices of the coefficient that have been {studied} in the literature. By applying the latest observational data, the acceptable ranges for the free parameters of the model are obtained. For any c…
Non-abelian gauge field inflation is studied in the context of warm inflation scenario. We introduce this scenario as a mechanism that gives an end for gauge-flation model. Slow-roll parameters and perturbation parameters are presented for this model. We find the general conditions which are required for this model to be realizable in slow-roll approximation. We also develop our model in the context of intermediate and logamediate scenarios which are exact solutions of inflationary field equation in the Einstein theory. General expressions of slow-roll parameters, tensor-scalar ratio and scala…
We study the warm-tachyon inflationary universe model with viscous pressure in high-dissipation regime. General conditions which are required for this model to be realizable are derived in the slow-roll approximation. We present analytic expressions for density perturbation and amplitude of tensor perturbation in longitudinal gauge. Expressions of tensor-to-scalar ratio, scalar spectral index and its running are obtained. We develop our model by using exponential potential, the characteristics of this model are calculated for two specific cases in great details: 1- Dissipative parameter $Γ$ an…

We obtain conditions for the existence of an attractor in the system of equations describing a tachyon warm inflationary model with bulk viscosity taken into account. When these conditions are met the evolution approaches slow-roll regime. We present the primordial power spectrum for the tachyon field by considering a dissipation coefficient depending on the scalar field and temperature.
After a brief introduction to the AdS/CFT holography a tachyon inflation will be discussed in the framework of holographic cosmology. The model is based on a holographic braneworld scenario with an effective tachyon field on a D3-brane located at the holographic bound of an asymptotic ADS$_5$ bulk.
Modeling the potential by an inverse square law in terms of the tachyon field ($V(T)=βT^{-2}$) we find exact solution for spatially flat isotropic universe. We show that for $β>2\sqrt{3}/3$ the model undergoes power-law inflation. A way to construct other exact solutions is specified and exemplified.
We present a tachyonic field inflationary model in a teleparallel framework. We show that tachyonic coupled with the f(T) gravity model can describe the inflation era in which f(T) is an arbitrary function of torsion scalar T. For this purpose, dynamical behavior of the tachyonic field in different potentials is studied, it is shown that the tachyonic field with these potentials can be an effective candidate for inflation. Then, we discuss slow-roll conditions and show that by the appropriate choice of the parameters, the inflation era can be explained via this model. Finally, we argue that ou…
We study tachyon field inflation in the light of the Planck+WMAP+BICEP2+BAO joint data. While the minimally coupled tachyon field inflation is consistent with the Planck2013 data, it is not confirmed by the Planck+WMAP+BICEP2+BAO dataset. However, a nonminimally coupled tachyon field inflation is consistent with this joint dataset.
Within the framework of tachyon inflation, we consider different steep potentials and check their viability in light of the Planck 2015 data. We see that in this scenario, the inverse power-law potential $V(ϕ)=V_{0}(ϕ/ϕ_{0})^{-n}$ with $n=2$ leads to the power-law inflation with the scale factor $a(t)\propto t^{q}$ where $q>1$, while with $n<2$, it gives rise to the intermediate inflation with the scale factor $a(t)\propto\exp\left(At^{f}\right)$ where $A>0$ and $0<f<1$. We find that, although the inverse power-law potential with $n\leq 2$ is completely ruled out by the Planck 2015 data, the r…
Although the formulas of tachyon inflation correspond to those of the inflation driven by the ordinary scalar field, there is obvious difference between them, which can not be neglected. We calculate the scalar and tensor perturbation of the string theory inspired tachyon inflation, which has been widely studied recently. We also show, through the Hamilton-Jacobi approach, that the the rolling tachyon can essentially produce enough inflation. An exact solution with the inverse squared potential of tachyon field has been proposed and its power spectra has been analyzed.
In this work we study one of the most appealing string theory-motivated models, we present a tachyonic inflationary model in the recently proposed symmetric teleparallel framework, and examine constraints on tachyon inflation with the exponential potential along with the reheating for a chosen $f(Q)$ gravity model. Considering a reheating phase parametrized by a number of e-folds $N_{re},$ a temperature $T_{re}$, and an equation of state $ω_{re}$, we relate the reheating parameters as functions of the exponential tachyon potential, $f(Q)$ model, and\ the spectral index $n_{s}$ parameters. We a…
We study a minimally coupled tachyon field rolling down to its ground state on the FRW brane. We construct tacyonic potential which can implements power law inflation in the brane world cosmology. The potential turns out to be ${V_0 ϕ^{-1}}$ on the brane and reduces to inverse square potential at late times when brane corrections to the Friedmann equation become negligible. We also do similar exercise with a normal scalar field and discover that the inverse square potential on the brane leads to power law inflation.
In the present work an inflationary tachyon field model of the early universe is considered. Several cosmological effects produced by a particular potential in this tachyonic era are studied, under the approximation of slow-roll inflation. In particular, the evolution of the spectral index $n_s$ with time is obtained. The equations for the cosmological scalar perturbations are analytically solved in order to show that the power spectrum for small $k$ values is $P_ζ\sim 1/k^{\frac{1}{2}+ν_2}$, where $ν_2$ depends on the barotropic index $γ_0$. For large $k$ values we find that the power spectru…
We review the relevance of quantum rolling tachyons and corresponding inflation scenario in the frame of the standard, $p$-adic and adelic minisuperspace quantum cosmology. The field theory of tachyon matter proposed by Sen in a zero-dimensional version suggested by Kar leads to a model of a particle moving in a constant external field with quadratic damping. We calculate the exact quantum propagator of the model, as well as, the vacuum states and conditions necessary to construct an adelic generalization. In addition we present an overview on several important cosmological models on archimede…
In this paper we study a tachyon cosmological model based on dynamics of a 3-brane in the second Randall-Sundrum (RSII) model extended to include matter in the bulk. The presence of matter in the bulk changes warp factor which leads to modification of inflationary dynamics. The additional brane behaves effectively as a tachyon. We calculate numerically observation parameters of inflation: the scalar spectral index ($n_s$) and the tensor-to-scalar ratio ($r$) for the exponential potential of tachyon field.
For the constant-roll tachyon inflation, we derive the analytical expressions for the scalar and tensor power spectra, the scalar and tensor spectral tilts and the tensor to scalar ratio up to the first order by using the method of Bessel function approximation. The derived $n_s-r$ results for the constant-roll inflation are also compared with the observations, we find that only one constant-roll inflation is consistent with the observations and observations constrain the constant-roll inflation to be slow-roll inflation. The tachyon potential is also reconstructed for the constant-roll inflat…
We study warm-tachyon inflationary universe model in the context of the effective field theory of loop quantum cosmology. In slow-roll approximation the primordial perturbation spectrums for this model are calculated. We also obtain the general expressions of the tensor-to-scalar ratio, scalar spectral index. We develop this model by using exponential potential, the characteristics of this model is calculated in great details. The parameters of the model are restricted by recent observational data from Planck, WMAP9 and BICEP2.
We consider cosmological consequences of string theory tachyon condensation. We show that it is very difficult to obtain inflation in the simplest versions of this theory. Typically, inflation in these theories could occur only at super-Planckian densities, where the effective 4D field theory is inapplicable. Reheating and creation of matter in models where the tachyon potential V(T) has a minimum at infinitely large T is problematic because the tachyon field in such theories does not oscillate. If the universe after inflation is dominated by the energy density of the tachyon condensate, it wi…
Closed string tachyon condensation in spacetime generates potentials on the worldsheet that model two-dimensional inflationary cosmology. These models illustrate and elucidate a variety of aspects of inflation, in particular the generation of quantum fluctuations and their back-reaction on geometry. We exhibit a class of Liouville gravity models coupled to matter that can exhibit, for example: (a) pure de Sitter gravity; (b) slow-roll inflation; (c) topological inflation; and (d) graceful exit into an FRW phase. The models also provide a quantitative testing ground for ideas about the origin o…
The tachyonic inflationary universe model in the context of intermediate inflation is studied. General conditions for this model to be realizable are discussed. In the slow-roll approximation, we describe in great details the characteristics of this model.
Motivated by recent works of Sen and Gibbons, we study the evolution of a flat and homogeneous universe dominated by tachyon matter. In particular, we analyse the necessary conditions for inflation in the early roll of a single tachyon field.
The curvaton reheating in a tachyonic braneworld inflationary universe model with an exponential potential is studied. We have found that the energy density in the kinetic epoch, has a complicated dependencies of the scale factor. For different scenarios the temperature of reheating is computed, finding an upper limit that lies in the range $10^{14}$--$10^{16}$GeV.
In this article we study closed inflationary universe models by means of a tachyonic field. We described a general treatment for created a universe with $Ω>1$ in patch cosmology, which is able to represent General Relativity, Gauss-Bonnet or Randall-Sundrum patches. We use recent data from astronomical observations to constrain the parameters appearing in our model.
We discuss the relevance of the classical and quantum rolling tachyons inflation in the frame of the standard, p-adic and adelic minisuperspace quantum cosmology.
