We investigate some issues on renormalisability of non-anticommutative supersymmetric gauge theory related to field redefinitions. We study one loop corrections to $N=\frac{1}{2}$ supersymmetric $SU(N)\times U(1)$ gauge theory coupled to chiral matter in component formalism, and show the procedure which has been introduced for renormalisation is problematic because some terms which are needed for the renormalisability of theory are missed from the Lagrangian. In order to prove the theory is renormalisable, we redefine the gaugino and the auxiliary fields($λ, \bar F$), which result in a modified form of the Lagrangian in the component formalism. Then, we show the modified Lagrangian has extra terms which are necessary for renormalisability of non-anticommutative supersymmetric gauge field theories. Finally we prove $N = \frac{1}{2}$ supersymmetric gauge theory is renormalisable up to one loop corrections using standard method of renormalisation; besides, it is shown the effective action is gauge invariant.

T- and S-duality rules among the gauge potentials in type II supergravities are studied. In particular, by following the approach of arXiv:1909.01335, we determine the T- and S-duality rules for certain mixed-symmetry potentials, which couple to supersymmetric branes with tension $T\propto g_s^{-n}$ ($n\leq 4$). Although the T-duality rules are rather intricate, we find a certain redefinition of potentials which considerably simplifies the duality rules. After the redefinition, potentials are identified with components of the T-duality-covariant potentials, which have been predicted by the $E_…
For theories with multiple couplings the perturbative $β$-functions for scalar, Yukawa couplings are expressible in terms of contributions corresponding to one particle irreducible graphs and also contributions which are one particle reducible depending on the anomalous dimension. Here we discuss redefinitions, or changes of scheme, which preserve this structure. The redefinitions allow for IPR contributions of a specific form, as is necessary to encompass the relation between MS and momentum subtraction renormalisation schemes. Many multiply 1PR terms in the transformed $β$-function are gener…
We consider the UV divergences up to sub-sub leading order for the four-point on-shell scattering amplitudes in D=8 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in the planar limit. We trace how the leading, subleading, etc divergences appear in all orders of perturbation theory. The structure of these divergences is typical for any local quantum field theory independently on renormalizability. We show how the generalized RG equations allow one to evaluate the leading, subleading, etc. contributions in all orders of PT starting from one-, two-, etc. loop diagrams respectively. We focus then on subtraction…
We study heterotic supergravity at $\mathcal{O}(α')$, first described in detail in 1989 by Bergshoeff and de Roo. In particular, we discuss an ambiguity of a connection choice on the tangent bundle. It is well known that at $\mathcal{O}(α')$ the Hull connection gives a consistent supergravity theory with supersymmetry transformations given in the usual way. We consider deformations of this connection corresponding to field redefinitions, and the necessary corrections to the supersymmetry transformations. We are interested in the moduli space of such field redefinitions which allow for supersym…
We obtain a four-dimensional supergravity with spontaneously broken supersymmetry allowing for de Sitter vacua by coupling a superspace action of minimal N=1, D=4 supergravity to a locally supersymmetric generalization of the Volkov-Akulov goldstino action describing the dynamics of a space-filling non-BPS 3-brane in N=1, D=4 superspace. To the quadratic order in the goldstino field the obtained action coincides with earlier constructions of supergravities with nilpotent superfields, while matching the higher-order contributions will require a non-linear redefinition of fields. In the unitary …
We consider, in the harmonic superspace approach, the six-dimensional N=(1,0) supersymmetric model of abelian gauge multiplet coupled to a hypermultiplet. The superficial degree of divergence is evaluated and the structure of possible one-loop divergences is analyzed. Using the superfield proper-time and background-field technique, we compute the divergent part of the one-loop effective action depending on both the gauge multiplet and the hypermultiplet. The corresponding counterterms contain the purely gauge multiplet contribution together with the mixed contributions of the gauge multiplet a…
