Flavor symmetries successfully explain lepton and quark masses and mixings yet it is usually hard to distinguish different models that predict the same mixing angles. Further experimental input could be available, if the agents of flavor breaking are sufficiently low in mass and detectable or if new physics with non-trivial flavor charges is sufficiently low in mass and detectable. The recent hint for lepton-nonuniversality in the ratio of branching fractions $B \to K μμ$ over $B \to K e e$, $R_K$, suggests the latter, at least for indirect detection via rare decays. We demonstrate the discriminating power of the rare decay data on flavor model building taking into account viable leptonic mixings and show how correlations with other observables exist in leptoquark models. We give expectations for branching ratios $B \to K \ell \ell^\prime, B_{(s)} \to \ell \ell^\prime$ and $\ell \to \ell^\prime γ$, and Higgs decays $h \to \ell \ell^\prime$.
Rare B hadron decays provide an excellent test bench for the Standard Model and can probe new physics models. We review the experimental progress of the searches for rare leptonic B decays ($b\rightarrow \ell^+ \ell^-$ and $b\rightarrow s \ell^+ \ell^-$) at LHC and Tevatron experiments.
We study the effect of SUSY phases on rare decays of leptons and on their magnetic and electric dipole moments. We consider the most general mass matrices for sleptons within the MSSM including left--right mixing, flavour mixing and complex phases. We show that the phases also affect CP even observables. Moreover, we demonstrate that contrary to common belief the phase of mu can be large even for slepton masses as small as 200 GeV provided the lepton flavour violating parameters are complex.
Studies of rare decays of charmed mesons into the final states containing leptons is an important vehicle in low-energy searches for new physics. I review theoretical implications of those studies involving transitions with and without lepton flavor conservation. I argue that lepton-flavor violation (LFV) could be successfully studied in heavy quarkonium transitions yielding more sensitive results than similar searches involving $D$ mesons.
A recent proposal for explaining discrepancies in angular observables in the rare decay B --> K*mu+mu- with a gauged L_mu - L_tau current carried with it the prediction of lepton flavor universality violation in related B-meson decays. This prediction gained empirical support with a subsequent hint for lepton flavor universality violation in the B --> K l+l- decay by LHCb. In this short paper we fully quantify the prediction including the associated uncertainties. We also provide new predictions for a variety of additional observables sensitive to lepton flavor universality violation in B-meso…
Exclusive rare Higgs decays into lepton pair plus one light hadron, such as $h\to ρ^0(ω)\ell\bar{\ell}$, $h\to π^0\ell\bar{\ell}$, $h\to π^+ (K^+)\ell^-\barν_\ell$, and $h\to ρ^+(K^{*+})\ell^-\barν_\ell$, have been explored in the standard model. Decay amplitudes are dominantly from the Higgs couplings to gauge bosons and to charged leptons, and their branching ratios are predicted in the range of $10^{-8}\sim 10^{-5}$. We have also analyzed the differential dilepton invariant mass and angular distributions of $h\to ρ^0 \ell^+\ell^-$ decays. It will be challenging to search for these rare proc…
The coupling of the electroweak gauge bosons of the Standard Model (SM) to leptons is flavour universal. Extensions of the SM do not necessarily have this property. Rare decays of heavy flavour are suppressed in the SM and new particles may give sizeable contributions to these processes, therefore, their precise study allows for sensitive tests of lepton flavour universality. Of particular interest are rare b to sll decays that are well accessible at the LHCb experiment. Recent results from LHCb on lepton flavour universality in rare b to sll decays are discussed.
With anomalies found in cosmic ray observations and unsolved questions of the Standard Model of particle physics like the discrepancy in the muon's anomalous magnetic moment, the idea of an U(1) extension of the Standard Model arose. This extension allows for the interaction of Dark Matter by exchange of a photon-like massive force carrier $A'$ not included in the Standard Model. We discuss the possibility to constrain the dark photon parameter space by using data taken from rare kaon decays. Therefore we analyze the decay $K\rightarrow μνA'$ as a signal process and calculate the expected Stan…
We present a general purpose, parton-level Monte Carlo program for the calculation of the radiative ($L\toν\barνl+γ$) and rare ($L\toν\barνl'+ l^+l^-$) muon and tau decays at NLO in the effective Fermi theory. In the case of muon, these processes are irreducible Standard Model backgrounds to searches for lepton flavour violation at the PSI experiments MEG and Mu3e as they become indistinguishable from the corresponding signals when the neutrinos carry little energy. Furthermore, we argue that fully differential NLO corrections are very important for the analysis of measurements aiming at the p…
We study meson decays mediated by the heavy gauge bosons of the Pati-Salam model of quark-lepton unification. We consider the scenarios in which the tau lepton is associated with the third, second, and first generation of quarks. The most sensitive probes, depending on the scenario, are rare K, pi, and B decays.
We study the constraints on flavour violating terms in low energy SUSY coming from several processes as li -> lj gamma, li -> lj lj lj and mu -> e in Nuclei. We show that a combined analysis of the processes allows us to extract additional information with respect to an individual analysis of all the processes. In particular, it makes possible to put bounds on sectors previously unconstrained by li -> lj gamma. We perform the analysis both in the mass eigenstate and in the mass insertion approximations clarifying the limit of applicability of these approximations.
The measurements of rare leptonic and semi-leptonic B decays performed at the LHC, not showing any significant deviations from the Standard Model expectations, put strong constraints on new physics. A brief account of the impact of recent measurements is given. As a concrete example, models with partial compositeness are discussed, where tree-level flavour-changing Z couplings lead to potentially visibile effects in rare B (and K) decays that will be scrutinized experimentally in the near future.
The impact of rare lepton decays ($μ\to e γ$, $τ\to μγ$, >...) and rare $B$ and $K$ decays ($B\to \ell^+\ell^-$, $B\to \ellν$, $K\to πνν$, $K\to\ellν$, ...) in probing the existence of an underlying flavour symmetry is reviewd. Particualar emphasis is deveoted to the connections between quark and lepton flavour strucutres, in the context of generic effective field theory approach to physics beyond the SM.
We study (semi)leptonic rare charm decays and its opportunities in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). In particular, we analyse the impact of potential BSM physics in $c\to ull'$ transitions, notably branching ratios, angular observables, asymmetries and Lepton Flavour Violating (LFV) decays. Testable effects are worked out model-independently and within Leptoquark models supplemented with flavour patterns to link $K$/$B$ decays.
We study the forward-backward and the CP-violating asymmetries (both time-independent and time-dependent) in rare semileptonic and radiative leptonic B_{d,s}-decays and investigate the sensitivity of these asymmetries to the extensions of the Standard model.
We introduce a flavor ${\cal U}(1)$ symmetry à la Froggat-Nielsen to explain the magnitude of the CKM mixing angles as well bilarge mixing in the neutrino sector. In the framework of GUTs we also estimate the magnitude of the third leptonic mixing angle $θ_{13}$. Estimates for rare leptonic decays such as $μ\to e \ga $ are also provided. Finally, leptogenesis is exploited for estimating the magnitude of leptonic CP violation.
We explore the possibility of lepton number violation (LNV) manifesting in the rare kaon decay $K\toπνν$, and its consequences for radiative neutrino mass generation and the washout of Lepton asymmetry in high-scale leptogenesis scenarios. We perform the analysis in a model-independent framework, the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT), and discuss the possible LNV nature of the rare kaon decay in the context of the currently operating NA62 experiment at CERN. We find that, in case of a LNV interaction, its detection would put high-scale leptogenesis under tension and would hint to s…
The general analysis of lepton polarization asymmetries in rare B -> K^* l^+ l^- decay is investigated. Using the most general, model independent effective Hamiltonian, the general expressions of the longitudinal, normal and transversal polarization asymmetries for l^- and l^+ and combinations of them are presented. The dependence of lepton polarizations and their combinations on new Wilson coefficients are studied in detail. Our analysis shows that the lepton polarization asymmetries are very sensitive to the scalar and tensor type interactions, which will be very useful in looking for new ph…

We study the double-lepton polarization asymmetries and single and double-lepton polarization forward backward asymmetries of the rare b \to s \ell^+ \ell^- mode within the Standard Model and in the Appelquist-Cheng-Dobrescu model, which is a new physics scenario with a single universal extra dimension. In particular, we examine the sensitivity of the observables to the radius R of the compactified extra-dimension, which is the new parameter in this new physics model.
We review the detection of the Delta L=2 semileptonic meson decays of the form M(+) -> M'(-) lepton(+) lepton(-) that we studied in a previous work, mediated by a Majorana neutrino with a mass in the range between the masses of the initial and final mesons. For such range of masses, the Majorana neutrino will go on its mass shell and the two charged leptons will appear at displaced vertices or, if the lifetime is long enough, most secondary vertices will fall outside the detector. We study the consequences of this effect on the experimental searches and limits that can be extracted.
B meson semi-leptonic rare decays are sensitive to new physics beyond standard model. We study the $B^{-}\to π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-}$ process and investigate the Majorana neutrino contribution to its decay width. The constraints on the Majorana neutrino mass and mixing parameter are obtained from this decay channel with the latest LHCb data. Utilizing the best fit for the parameters, we study the lepton number violating decay $B^{-}\to π^{+}μ^{-}μ^{-}$, and find its branching ratio is about $6.4\times10^{-10}$, which is consistent with the LHCb data reported recently.
Some selected topics involving photonic and leptonic rare B decays are reviewed. The interest in their measurement for the CKM phenomenology is underlined. They are also potentially interesting in searching for physics beyond the standard model. This is illustrated on the examples of the decays $B \to (K,K^*) \ell^+ \ell^-$ and $B \to (ρ, ω) γ$ by contrasting their anticipated phenomenological profiles in the standard model and some variants of supersymmetric models.
We review results on rare and forbidden decays of D^0, D^+, and D^+_s mesons from experiments at FNAL. The decay modes studied have two leptons in the final state and, if observed, would constitute evidence for flavor-changing neutral-current, lepton-flavor-violating, or lepton-number-violating processes. To date, no evidence for these decays has been observed and upper limits are obtained for their branching fractions. These limits can constrain various extensions to the Standard Model. We present new upper limits from FNAL E791 on the branching fractions for more than two dozen three- and fo…
An extension of a model of neutrino masses to the quark sector provides an interesting link between these two sectors. A parameter which is important to describe neutrino oscillations and masses is found to be a crucial one appearing in various ``penguin'' operators, in particular the so-called Z penguin. This parameter is severely constrained by the rare decay process $K_{L} \to μ^{+} μ^{-}$. This in turn has interesting implications on the decay rates of other rare processes such as $K_{L} \to μe$, etc..., as well as on the masses of the neutrinos and the masses of the vector-like quarks and…
Semileptonic Flavor Changing Neutral Current decays of charmed hadrons uniquely probe the up-sector of the Standard Model. Clean null test observables, such as CP-asymmetries, lepton-universality ratios, missing energy modes, lepton flavor violating modes and angular observables can be studied in a variety of charmed meson and baryon modes. An overview of null test opportunities with rare charm decays is presented and similarities and complementarities of different modes are worked out.

We discuss proton and neutron decays involving three leptons in the final state. Some of these modes could constitute the dominant decay channel because they conserve lepton-flavor symmetries that are broken in all usually considered channels. This includes the particularly interesting and rarely discussed $p\to e^+ e^+ μ^-$ and $p\to μ^+ μ^+ e^-$ modes. As the relevant effective operators arise at dimension 9 or 10, observation of a three-lepton mode would probe energy scales of order 100 TeV. This allows to connect proton decay to other probes such as rare meson decays or collider physics. U…
We consider measurements of exclusive rare semi-tauonic $b$-hadron decays, mediated by the $b \rightarrow s τ^+ τ^-$ transition, at a future high energy circular electron-positron collider (FCC-$ee$). We argue that the high boosts of $b$-hadrons originating from on-shell $Z$ boson decays allow for a full reconstruction of the decay kinematics in hadronic $τ$ decay modes (up to discrete ambiguities). This, together with the potentially large statistics of $Z\to b\bar b$, opens the door for the experimental determination of $τ$ polarizations in these rare $b$-hadron decays. In light of the curre…
The most general model-independent analysis of the lepton polarization asymmetries in the rare B decay, $\Bstt$, is presented. We present the longitudinal, normal and transverse polarization asymmetries for the $τ^+ $ and $τ^-$, and combinations of them, as functions of the Wilson coefficients of twelve independent four-Fermi interactions, ten of them local and two nonlocal. These procedures will tell us which type of operators contributes to the process. And it will be very useful to pin down new physics systematically, once we have the experimental data with high statistics and a deviation f…
It is well recognized that looking for new physics at lower energy colliders is a tendency which is complementary to high energy machines such as LHC. Based on large database of BESIII, we may have a unique opportunity to do a good job. In this paper we calculate the branching ratios of semi-leptonic processes $D^+_s \to K^+ e^-e^+$, $D^+_s \to K^+ e^-μ^+$ and leptonic processes $D^0 \to e^-e^+$, $D^0 \to e^-μ^+$ in the frames of $U(1)'$ model, 2HDM and unparticle separately. It is found that both the $U(1)'$ and 2HDM may influence the semi-leptonic decay rates, but only the $U(1)'$ offers sub…
We introduce the Working Group 2 proceedings contributions from the 2nd workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle and note their connection to the proceedings of the first workshop. The topic of WG2 was the determination of the CKM matrix elements Vtd and Vts from B-Bbar mixing, radiative penguin B to X{s/d} gamma decays and rare (semi)leptonic decays such as B to Xs l+ l-.
Prospective searches for lepton flavor violation (LFV) in rare kaon decays at the existing and future intermediate-energy accelerators are considered. The proposed studies are complementary to LFV searches in muon-decay experiments and offer a unique opportunity to probe models with approximately conserved fermion-generation quantum number with sensitivity superior to that in other processes. Consequently, new searches for LFV in kaon decays are an important and independent part of the general program of searches for lepton flavor violation in the final states with charged leptons.
Accurate supersymmetric spectra are required to confront data from direct and indirect searches of supersymmetry. \SUSEFLAV is a numerical tool which is capable of computing supersymmetric spectra accurately for various supersymmetric breaking scenarios applicable even in the presence of flavor violation. The program solves MSSM RGEs with complete $3\times3$ flavor mixing at 2-loop level and one loop finite threshold corrections to all MSSM parameters by incorporating radiative electroweak symmetry breaking conditions. The program also incorporates the Type-I seesaw mechanism with three massiv…
Rare leptonic kaon and pion decays $K^+(π^+) \to μ^+\, ν_μ\, e^+ e^-$ can be used to probe a dark photon of mass ${\cal O}(10)$~MeV, with the background coming from the mediation of a virtual photon. This is most relevant for the 16.7-MeV dark photon proposed to explain a 6.8$σ$ anomaly recently observed in $^8$Be transitions by the Atomki Collaboration. We evaluate the reach of future experiments for different scenarios of how the dark photon couples with the standard model particles, and show that a great portion of the preferred 16.7-MeV dark photon parameter space can be decisively probed.…
We study rare four-body decays of the Z-boson involving at least one neutrino and one charged lepton. Large destructive interferences make these decays very sensitive to the Z couplings to neutrinos. As the identified charged leptons can determine the neutrino flavors, these decays probe the universality of the Z couplings to neutrinos. The rare four-body processes could be accurately measured at future lepton colliders, leading to percent level precision.
Long-distance QCD effects in $B_{d,s}\to\ell^+\ell^-γ$ decays are analyzed. We show that the contribution of the light vector-meson resonances related to the virtual photon emission from valence quarks of the $B$-meson, which was not considered in previous analyses, strongly influences the dilepton differential distrubution. Taking into account photon emission from the $b$-quark loop, weak annihilation, and Bremsstrahlung from leptons in the final state, we give predictions for dilepton spectrum in $B_{d, s}\to \ell^+\ell^-γ$ decays within the Standard model.
In a recent paper, we showed that tree level up-down unification of fermion Yukawa couplings is a natural consequence of a large class of supersymmetric models. They can lead to viable quark masses and mixings for moderately large values of $\tanβ$ with interesting and testable predictions for CP violation in the hadronic sector. In this letter, we extend our discussion to the leptonic sector focusing on one particular class of these models, the supersymmetric left-right model with the seesaw mechanism for neutrino masses. We show that fitting the solar and the atmospheric neutrino data consid…
We revisit rare radiative leptonic decays $B_{s,d}\to γe^+e^-$ and $B_{s,d}\to γμ^+μ^-$ in the Standard Model and provide the updated estimates for various differential distributions (the branching ratios, the forward-backward asymmetry, and $R_{μ/e}$, the ratio of the differential distribution for muons over electrons in the final state). The new ingredients of this work compared to the existing theoretical analyses are the following: (i) we calculate all $B_d\toγ$ and $B_s\toγ$ form factors induced by the vector, axial-vector, tensor and pseudotensor quark currents within the relativistic di…
In the context of general Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), new sources for Lepton Flavor Violation (LFV) as well as CP-violation appear. We show that in the presence of LFV sources, the electric dipole moment of the electron ($d_e$) can receive new contributions. In particular, $d_e$ can receive a significant contribution at one loop level from the phase of the trilinear $A$-term of the staus, $ϕ_{A_τ}$. We discuss how we can derive information on $ϕ_{A_τ}$ by combining the information on $d_e$ with that on the LFV decay modes of the $τ$ lepton. We then discuss if this approach ca…
Two-dimensional hydrodynamical simulations of the deleptonization of a newly formed neutron star were performed. Driven by negative lepton fraction and entropy gradients, convection starts near the neutrinosphere about 20-30 ms after core bounce, but moves deeper into the protoneutron star, and after about one second the whole protoneutron star is convective. The deleptonization of the star proceeds much faster than in the corresponding spherically symmetrical model because the lepton flux and the neutrino luminosities increase by up to a factor of two. The convection below the neutrinosphere …
We study lepton flavor violation (LFV) associated with tau leptons in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model, in which LFV couplings are introduced as a deviation from Model II Yukawa interaction. Parameters of the model are constrained from experimental results and also from requirements of theoretical consistencies such as vacuum stability and perturbative unitarity. Current data for rare tau decays provide substantial upper limits on the LFV Yukawa couplings in the large $\tanβ$ region ($\tanβ\gtrsim 30 $), which are comparable with predictions in fundamental theories. Here $\tanβ$ is…
Searches for top quark-associated physics such as $t\bar t W$ or $t\bar t H$ in final states with multiple leptons require a careful accounting of expected backgrounds due to the lack of reconstructible resonances. We demonstrate that the rare top quark decays $t \to \ell' νb \ell\ell$ and $t \to q q' b \ell\ell$, when a soft lepton is not detected, can contribute a non-negligible background to such searches. Simulations in the LHC experiments typically do not account for such decays and as such backgrounds to such searches may be underestimated.
Lepton flavour violation (LFV) naturally occurs in many new physics models, specifically in those explaining the $B$ anomalies. While LFV has already been studied for mesonic decays, it is important to consider also baryonic decays mediated by the same quark transition. In this paper, we study LFV in the baryonic $Λ_b \to Λ\ell_1 \ell_2$ using for the first time a full basis of New Physics operators. We present expected bounds on the branching ratio in a model-independent framework and using two specific new physics models. Finally, we point out the interplay and orthogonality between the bary…
The rare processes $B_c\to D_{(s)J} ^{(*)}μ\barμ$, where $D_{(s)J}^{(*)}$ stands for the final meson $D_{s0}^*(2317)$, $D_{s1}(2460,2536)$,~$D_{s2}^*(2573)$, $D_0^*(2400)$, $D_{1}(2420,2430)$ or~$D_{2}^*(2460)$, are studied within the Standard Model. The hadronic matrix elements are evaluated in the Bethe-Salpeter approach and furthermore a discussion on the gauge-invariant condition of the annihilation hadronic currents is presented. Considering the penguin, box, annihilation, color-favored cascade and color-suppressed cascade contributions, the observables $\text{d}Br/\text{d}Q^2$, $A_{LPL}$…
Using the covariant constituent quark model previously developed by us we calculate the differential rate and the forward-backward asymmetries on the lepton and hadron side for the rare baryon decays Lambda_b -> Lambda l+ l- (l=e, mu, tau) and Lambda_b -> Lambda gamma. We use helicity methods to write down a three-fold joint angular decay distribution for the cascade decay Lambda_b -> Lambda (-> p pi-) + J_eff (-> l+ l-). Through appropriate angular integrations we obtain expressions for the rates, the lepton-side forward-backward (FB) asymmetry and the polarization of the daughter baryon Lamb…
We interpret the recent hints for lepton flavor universality violation in rare $B$ meson decays. Based on a model-independent effective Hamiltonian approach, we determine regions of new physics parameter space that give a good description of the experimental data on $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$, which is in tension with Standard Model predictions. We suggest further measurements that can help narrowing down viable new physics explanations. We stress that the measured values of $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$ are fully compatible with new physics explanations of other anomalies in rare $B$ meson decays based on the…
In framework of the chiral perturbation theory we obtain the phenomenological relations between decay branches of rare radiative kaon to pion and leptons $K^+ \to π^+ l^+ l^-$ and $K^0_S \to π^0 l^+ l^-$ and meson form factors. The comparison of these results with the present day experimental data shows us that the ChPT relations for a charge kaon can determine meson form factors from already measured decay rates at high precision level. However, in the case of the neutral kaon decays $K^0 \to π^0 e^+ e^- (μ^+ μ^-)$ the formfactor data are known to a high precision than data on the differentia…
We study rare radiative leptonic decays $B_{(s)}\to e^+e^-γ$ and $B_{(s)}\to μ^+μ^-γ$ within relativistic quark model. In addition to previous analysis we give the estimations of the branching ratios for four values of the minimal photon energy, which correspond to photon selection criteria of the Belle and LHCb detectors. We find out that the branching ratios only slightly change. The highest values corresponding to $E^γ_{min}=80 \textrm{MeV}$ are ${\cal B}(\bar B^0_s\to e^+e^-γ)=18.5\times10^{-9}$ and ${\cal B}(B^0_s\to μ^+μ^-γ)=11.9\times10^{-9}$. We present the distribution of the forward-…
We study lepton flavor number violating rare B decays, $b \to s l_h^{\pm} l_l^{\mp}$, in a seesaw model with low scale singlet Majorana neutrinos motivated by the resonant leptogenesis scenario. The branching ratios of inclusive decays $ b \to s l_h^{\pm} \bar{l_l}^{\mp} $ with two almost degenerate singlet neutrinos at TeV scale are investigated in detail. We find that there exists a class of seesaw model in which the branching fractions of $ b \to s τμ$ and $τ\to μγ$ can be as large as $10^{-10}$ and $10^{-9}$ within the reach of Super B factories, respectively, without being in conflict wit…
The transitions $B_{s,d}\rightarrow \ell^+\ell^-$ (for $\ell=e, μ, τ$), although extremely suppressed within the SM, are exceptionally clean channels particularly sensitive to New Physics contributions. So far only the branching ratio for the process $B_{s}\rightarrow μ^+μ^-$ has been measured experimentally and, although the results are in agreement with the SM prediction, there is still room for NP effects. Here we provide an overview of the theoretical status of rare decays. We present strategies that can allow us to discriminate between different NP scenarios. Finally, we include a discuss…
The decay $B^0_s\toμ^+μ^-$ is a key probe for the search of physics beyond the Standard Model. While the current measurements of the corresponding branching ratio agree with the Standard Model within the uncertainties, significant New-Physics effects may still be hiding in $B^0_s\toμ^+μ^-$. In order to reveal them, the observable $\mathcal{A}^{μμ}_{ΔΓ_s}$, which is provided by the decay width difference $ΔΓ_s$ of the $B^0_s$-meson system, plays a central role. We point out that a measurement of a CP-violating observable ${\cal S}_{\rm μμ}$, which is induced through interference between $B^0_s$…
Updated standard model predictions for $D_{(s)} \to P l^+ l^-$, $l=e,μ$, $P=π,K$ and inclusive decays are presented. Model-independent constraints on $|ΔC|=|ΔU|=1$ Wilson coefficients are worked out. New physics (NP) opportunities arise in semileptonic branching ratios for very large couplings only, however, are not excluded outside the resonance regions yet. The NP potential of resonance-assisted CP asymmetries and angular observables is worked out. Predictions are given for leptoquark models, and include lepton flavor violating and dineutrino decays. Whether NP can be seen depends on flavor …
The available data on $|ΔB| = |ΔS| = 1$ decays are in good agreement with the Standard Model when permitting subleading power corrections of about 15% at large hadronic recoil. Constraining new-physics effects in $\mathcal{C}_7$, $\mathcal{C}_9$, $\mathcal{C}_{10}$, the data still demand the same size of power corrections as in the Standard Model. In the presence of chirality-flipped operators, all but one of the power corrections reduce substantially. The Bayes factors are in favor of the Standard Model. Using new lattice inputs for $B\to K^*$ form factors, the evidence of models with chirali…
