The method of Murty and Cioabă shows how one can use results about gaps between primes to construct families of almost-Ramanujan graphs. In this paper we give a simpler construction which avoids the search for perfect matchings and thus eliminates the need for computation. It is proved that the coefficients of $\frac{q^n}{n!}$ in this expression, as polynomials in $b$, exhibit equidistribution of the coefficients in the nonzero residue classes mod 5 when $n=5j+4$. Other symmetries, as well as symmetries for other primes and prime powers, are proved, and some open questions are raised.

In this paper, we determine the bound of the valency of Cayley graphs of Frobenius groups with respect to normal Cayley subsets which guarantees to be Ramanujan. We see that if the ratio between the orders of the Frobenius kernel and complement is not so small, then this bound coincides with the trivial one coming from the trivial estimate of the largest non-trivial eigenvalue of the graphs. In this paper, we find an identity which connects the overpartition function and the function of Rogers--Ramanujan--Gordon type overpartitions by considering the weights and gaps. This identity can be seen as an analogue of the weighted identity of Alladi.
We construct (k+-1)-regular graphs which provide sequences of expanders by adding or substracting appropriate 1-factors from given sequences of k-regular graphs. We compute numerical examples in a few cases for which the given sequences are from the work of Lubotzky, Phillips, and Sarnak (with k-1 the order of a finite field). If k+1 = 7, our construction results in a sequence of 7-regular expanders with all spectral gaps at least about 1.52.

For a given prime $p$, we study the properties of the $p$-dissection identities of Ramanujan's theta functions $ψ(q)$ and $f(-q)$, respectively. Then as applications, we find many infinite family of congruences modulo 2 for some $\ell$-regular partition functions, especially, for $\ell=2,4,5,8,13,16$.
