Tsirelson's Bound and the Quantum Monogamy Bound from Global Determinism

We demonstrate that in a globally deterministic universe, all spatiotemporally symmetric processes must obey counterfactual parameter independence. We show that the Tsirelson bound can be derived from counterfactual parameter independence. We show that the quantum monogamy bound can also be obtained from global determinism, and then then use these results to propose a novel solution to the horizon problem. We also explain how global determinism relates to contextuality in quantum mechanics.

Equivalence between Quantum Mechanics and PT Symmetric Quantum Mechanics

In this paper we develop a discussion about PT Symmetric Quantum Mechanics, working with basics elements of this theory. In a simple case of two body system, we developed the Quantum Brachistochrone problem. Comparing the results obtained through the PT Symmetric Quantum Mechanics with that ones obtained using the standard formalism, we conclude that this new approach is not able to reveal any new effect.

Algebraic treatment of $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric coupled oscillators

The purpose of this paper is the discussion of a pair of coupled linear oscillators that has recently been proposed as a model of a system of two optical resonators. By means of an algebraic approach we show that the frequencies of the classical and quantum-mechanical interpretations of the optical phenomenon are exactly the same. Consequently, if the classical frequencies are real, then the quantum-mechanical eigenvalues are also real.

A time-reversible quantum causal model

Modern approaches to causal modeling give a central role to interventions, which require the active input of an observer and introduces an explicit `causal arrow of time'. We review recent results on new physical models constructed as PT-symmetrical deformations or extensions of different types of integrable models. We present non-Hermitian versions of quantum spin chains, multi-particle systems of Calogero-Moser-Sutherland type and non-linear integrable field equations of Korteweg-de-Vries type.
