Many approaches to obtaining cosmological constraints rely on the connection between galaxies and dark matter. However, the distribution of galaxies is dependent on their formation and evolution as well as the cosmological model, and galaxy formation is still not a well-constrained process. Thus, methods that probe cosmology using galaxies as a tracer for dark matter must be able to accurately estimate the cosmological parameters without knowing the details of galaxy formation a priori. We apply this reasoning to the method of obtaining $Ω_m$ and $σ_8$ from galaxy clustering combined with the mass-to-number ratio of galaxy clusters. To test the sensitivity of this method to variations due to galaxy formation, we consider several different models applied to the same cosmological dark matter simulation. The cosmological parameters are then estimated using the observables in each model, marginalizing over the parameters of the Halo Occupation Distribution (HOD). We find that for models where the galaxies can be well represented by a parameterized HOD, this method can successfully extract the desired cosmological parameters for a wide range of galaxy formation prescriptions.
The growth rate of large scale structure can probe whether dark matter clusters at gravitational strength or deviates from this, e.g. due to self interactions. Measurement of the growth rate through redshift space distortions in galaxy redshift surveys constrains the clustering strength, and its redshift dependence. We compare such effects on growth to those from high redshift deviations (e.g. early dark energy) or modified gravity, and give a simple, highly accurate analytic prescription. Current observations can constrain the dark matter clustering strength to F_{cl}=0.99\pm0.02 of standard,…
We investigate how the use of higher wavenumbers (smaller scales) in the galaxy clustering power spectrum influences cosmological constraints. We take into account uncertainties from nonlinear density fluctuations, (scale dependent) galaxy bias, and baryonic effects. Allowing for substantially model independent uncertainties through separate fit parameters in each wavenumber bin that also allow for the redshift evolution, we quantify strong gains in dark energy and neutrino mass leverage with increasing maximum wavenumber, despite marginalizing over numerous (up to 125) extra fit parameters. T…
Accurate cosmological parameter estimates using polarization data of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) put stringent requirements on map calibration, as highlighted in the recent results from the Planck satellite. In this paper, we point out that a model-dependent determination of polarization calibration can be achieved by the joint fit of the TE and EE CMB power spectra. This provides a valuable cross-check to band-averaged polarization efficiency measurements determined using other approaches. We demonstrate that, in $Λ$CDM, the combination of the TE and EE constrain polarization calibr…
We present general, analytic methods for Cosmological likelihood analysis and solve the "many-parameters" problem in Cosmology. Maxima are found by Newton's Method, while marginalization over nuisance parameters, and parameter errors and covariances are estimated by analytic marginalization of an arbitrary likelihood function with flat or Gaussian priors. We show that information about remaining parameters is preserved by marginalization. Marginalizing over all parameters, we find an analytic expression for the Bayesian evidence for model selection. We apply these methods to data described by …

(Abridged) This is the first of a series of papers in which we derive simultaneous constraints on cosmological parameters and X-ray scaling relations using observations of the growth of massive, X-ray flux-selected galaxy clusters. Our data set consists of 238 clusters drawn from the ROSAT All-Sky Survey, and incorporates extensive follow-up observations using the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Here we describe and implement a new statistical framework required to self-consistently produce simultaneous constraints on cosmology and scaling relations from such data, and present results on models of …
Observables such as the luminosity function of galaxies, Φ(M), the projected clustering of galaxies, w_p(r_p), and the galaxy-galaxy lensing signal, ΔΣ, are often measured from galaxy redshift surveys assuming a fiducial cosmological model for calculating distances to and between galaxies. There is a growing number of studies that perform joint analyses of these measurements and constrain cosmological parameters. We quantify the amount by which such measurements systematically vary as the fiducial cosmology used for the measurements is changed, and show that these effects can be significant at…
We constrain two non-flat time-evolving dark energy cosmological models by using Hubble parameter data, Type Ia supernova apparent magnitude measurements, and baryonic acoustic oscillation peak length scale observations. The inclusion of space curvature as a free parameter in the analysis results in a significant broadening of the allowed range of values of the parameter that governs the time evolution of the dark energy density in these models. While consistent with the "standard" spatially-flat $Λ$CDM cosmological model, these data are also consistent with a range of mildly non-flat, slowly …

We present a new method that deals with the uncertainty in matter-clustering in cosmic shear power spectrum analysis that arises mainly due to poorly understood nonlinear baryonic processes on small-scales. We show that the majority of information about dark energy physics contained in the shear power comes from these small-scales; removing these nonlinear scales from a cosmic shear analysis results in a 50% cut in the accuracy of measurements of dark energy parameters, marginalizing over all other parameters. In this paper we propose a method to recover the information on small-scales by allo…
In this paper, we motivate the use of galaxy clustering measurements using photometric redshift information, including a contribution from flux magnification, as a probe of cosmology. We present cosmological forecasts when clustering data alone is used, and when clustering is combined with a cosmic shear analysis. We consider two types of clustering analysis: firstly, clustering with only redshift auto-correlations in tomographic redshift bins; secondly, using all available redshift bin correlations. Finally, we consider how inferred cosmological parameters may be biased using each analysis wh…

We explore the cosmological implications of the clustering wedges, xi_perp(s) and xi_para(s), of the CMASS Data Release 9 (DR9) sample of the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS). These clustering wedges are defined by averaging the full two-dimensional correlation function, xi(mu,s), over the ranges 0<mu<0.5 and 0.5<mu<1, respectively. These measurements allow us to constrain the parameter combinations D_A(z)/r_s(z_d)=9.03 +- 0.21 and cz/(r_s(z_d)H(z)) = 12.14 +- 0.43 at the mean redsfhit of the sample, z=0.57. We combine the information from the clustering wedges with recent measur…
We present novel cosmological constraints based on a joint analysis of our HII galaxies (HIIG) Hubble relation with the full Planck Cosmic Microwave Background anisotropy spectrum and the Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) probes. The HII galaxies span a large redshift range $(0.088 \le z \le 2.5)$, reaching significantly higher redshifts than available SNIa and hence they probe the cosmic expansion at earlier times. Our independent constraints compare well with those based on the Pantheon compilation of SNIa data, which we also analyse. We find our results to be in agreement with the conforma…
Next generation large scale surveys probe the nonlinear regime with high resolution. Making viable cosmological inferences based on these observations requires accurate theoretical modeling of the mildly nonlinear regime. In this work we investigate the sensitivity of cosmological parameter measurements from future probes of galaxy clustering to the choice of nonlinear prescription up to $k_{\rm max}=0.3~h~\rm{Mpc}^{-1}$. In particular, we calculate the induced parameter bias when the mildly nonlinear regime is modeled by the Halofit fitting scheme. We find significant ($\sim5σ$) bias for some…
Our observations of the Universe are fundamentally anisotropic, with data from galaxies separated transverse to the line of sight coming from the same epoch while that from galaxies separated parallel to the line of sight coming from different times. Moreover, galaxy velocities along the line of sight change their redshift, giving redshift space distortions. We perform a full two-dimensional anisotropy analysis of galaxy clustering data, fitting in a substantially model independent manner the angular diameter distance D_A, Hubble parameter H, and growth rate ddelta/dln a without assuming a dar…
We test the cosmological implications of studying galaxy clustering using a tomographic approach, by computing the galaxy two-point angular correlation function $ω(θ)$ in thin redshift shells using a spectroscopic-redshift galaxy survey. The advantages of this procedure are that it is not necessary to assume a fiducial cosmology in order to convert measured angular positions and redshifts into distances, and that it gives several (less accurate) measurements of the angular diameter distance $D_\rm{A}(z)$ instead of only one (more precise) measurement of the effective average distance $D_\rm{V}…
We determine the error introduced in a joint halo model analysis of galaxy-galaxy lensing and galaxy clustering observables when adopting the standard approximation of linear halo bias. Considering the Kilo-Degree Survey, we forecast that ignoring the non-linear halo bias would result in up to 5$σ$ offsets in the recovered cosmological parameters describing structure growth, $S_8$, and the matter density parameter, $Ω_{\mathrm{m}}$. We include the scales $10^{-1.3}<r_{\rm{p}} \ / h^{-1}\, \mathrm{Mpc}<10$ in the data vector, and the direction of these offsets are shown to depend on the freedom…
The adhesion model has been proposed in the past as an improvement of the Zel'dovich approximation, providing a good description of the formation of the cosmic web. We recast the model as a field theory for cosmological large scale structure, adding a stochastic force to account for power generated from very short, highly non-linear scales that is uncorrelated with the initial power spectrum. The dynamics of this Stochastic Adhesion Model (SAM) is reminiscent of the well known Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation with the difference that the viscosity and the noise spectrum are time dependent. Choosin…
We explore the cosmological implications of anisotropic clustering measurements in configuration space of the final galaxy samples from Data Release 12 of the SDSS-III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey. We implement a new detailed modelling of the effects of non-linearities, galaxy bias and redshift-space distortions that can be used to extract unbiased cosmological information from our measurements for scales $s \gtrsim 20\,h^{-1}{\rm Mpc}$. We combined the galaxy clustering information from BOSS with the latest cosmic microwave background (CMB) observations and Type Ia supernovae sampl…
Beyond the linear regime of structure formation, part of cosmological information encoded in galaxy clustering becomes inaccessible to the usual power spectrum. "Sufficient statistics", A*, were introduced recently to recapture the lost, and ultimately extract all, cosmological information. We present analytical approximations for the A* and traditional power spectra as well as for their covariance matrices in order to calculate analytically their cosmological information content in the context of Fisher information theory. Our approach allows the precise quantitative comparison of the techniq…
The combination of galaxy-galaxy lensing (GGL) with galaxy clustering is one of the most promising routes to determining the amplitude of matter clustering at low redshifts. We show that extending clustering+GGL analyses from the linear regime down to $\sim 0.5 \, h^{-1}$ Mpc scales increases their constraining power considerably, even after marginalizing over a flexible model of non-linear galaxy bias. Using a grid of cosmological N-body simulations, we construct a Taylor-expansion emulator that predicts the galaxy autocorrelation $ξ_{\text{gg}}(r)$ and galaxy-matter cross-correlation $ξ_{\te…
The clustering ratio is defined as the ratio between the correlation function and the variance of the smoothed overdensity field. In LCDM cosmologies not accounting for massive neutrinos, it has already been proved to be independent from bias and redshift space distortions on a range of linear scales. It therefore allows for a direct comparison of measurements (from galaxies in redshift space) to predictions (for matter in real space). In this paper we first extend the applicability of such properties of the clustering ratio to cosmologies that include massive neutrinos, by performing tests ag…
The Sloan Digital Sky Survey has surveyed 14,555 square degrees of the sky, and delivered over a trillion pixels of imaging data. We present the large-scale clustering of 1.6 million quasars between z = 0.5 and z = 2.5 that have been classified from this imaging, representing the highest density of quasars ever studied for clustering measurements. This data set spans ~11,000 square degrees and probes a volume of 80(Gpc/h)^3. In principle, such a large volume and medium density of tracers should facilitate high-precision cosmological constraints. We measure the angular clustering of photometric…
As weak lensing surveys are becoming deeper and cover larger areas, information will be available on small angular scales down to the arcmin level. To extract this extra information, accurate modelling of baryonic effects is necessary. In this work, we adopt a baryonic correction model, which includes gas both bound inside and ejected from dark matter (DM) haloes, a central galaxy, and changes in the DM profile induced by baryons. We use this model to incorporate baryons into a large suite of DM-only $N$-body simulations, covering a grid of 75 cosmologies in the $Ω_\mathrm{m}-σ_8$ parameter sp…
The primary science driver for 3D galaxy surveys is their potential to constrain cosmological parameters. Forecasts of these surveys' effectiveness typically assume Gaussian statistics for the underlying matter density, despite the fact that the actual distribution is decidedly non-Gaussian. To quantify the effect of this assumption, we employ an analytic expression for the power spectrum covariance matrix to calculate the Fisher information for BAO-type model surveys. We find that for typical number densities, at $k_\mathrm{max} = 0.5 h$ Mpc$^{-1}$, Gaussian assumptions significantly overesti…
Making cosmological inferences from the observed galaxy clustering requires accurate predictions for the mean clustering statistics and their covariances. Those are affected by cosmic variance -- the statistical noise due to the finite number of harmonics. The cosmic variance can be suppressed by fixing the amplitudes of the harmonics instead of drawing them from a Gaussian distribution predicted by the inflation models. Initial realizations also can be generated in pairs with 180 degrees flipped phases to further reduce the variance. Here, we compare the consequences of using paired-and-fixed…
We study in detail how neutrino perturbations can be followed in linear theory by using only terms up to $l=2$ in the Boltzmann hierarchy. We provide a new approximation to the third moment and demonstrate that the neutrino power spectrum can be calculated to a precision of better than $\sim$ 5% for masses up to $\sim$ 1 eV. The matter and CMB power spectra can be calculated far more precisely and typically at least a factor of a few better than with existing approximations. We then proceed to study how the neutrino power spectrum can be reliably calculated even in the presence of non-linear g…
We model the apparent clustering anisotropy of Luminous Red Galaxies (LRGs) in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey using subhalos identified in cosmological $N$-body simulations. We first conduct a Markov-chain Monte Carlo analysis on the parameters characterizing subhalos hosting LRGs assuming a specific $Λ$CDM cosmology on which we run the simulations. We show that simple models with central and satellite subhalos can explain the observed multipole moments of the power spectrum up to hexadecapole on large scales ($k\lesssim0.3~h\mathrm{Mpc}^{-1}$). A satellite fraction of $20$ to $30$ per cent is f…
One dimensional versions of cosmological N-body simulations have been shown to share many qualitative behaviours of the three dimensional problem. They can resolve a large range of time and length scales, and admit exact numerical integration. We use such models to study how non-linear clustering depends on initial conditions and cosmology. More specifically, we consider a family of models which, like the 3D EdS model, lead for power-law initial conditions to self-similar clustering characterized in the strongly non-linear regime by power-law behaviour of the two point correlation function. We…
We present cosmological parameter constraints based on a joint modeling of galaxy-lensing cross correlations and galaxy clustering measurements in the SDSS, marginalizing over small-scale modeling uncertainties using mock galaxy catalogs, without explicit modeling of galaxy bias. We show that our modeling method is robust to the impact of different choices for how galaxies occupy dark matter halos and to the impact of baryonic physics (at the $\sim2\%$ level in cosmological parameters) and test for the impact of covariance on the likelihood analysis and of the survey window function on the the…
In recent years cross correlation of lensing of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) with other large scale structure (LSS) tracers has been used as a method to detect CMB lensing. Current experiments are also becoming sensitive enough to measure CMB lensing without the help of auxiliary tracers. As data quality improves rapidly, it has been suggested that the CMB lensing-LSS cross correlation may provide new insights into parameters describing cosmological structure growth. In this work we perform forecasts that combine the lensing potential auto power spectrum from various future CMB experi…
A wealth of cosmological and astrophysical information is expected from many ongoing and upcoming large-scale surveys. It is crucial to prepare for these surveys now and develop tools that can efficiently extract most information. We present HIFlow: a fast generative model of the neutral hydrogen (HI) maps that is conditioned only on cosmology ($Ω_{m}$ and $σ_{8}$) and designed using a class of normalizing flow models, the Masked Autoregressive Flow (MAF). HIFlow is trained on the state-of-the-art simulations from the Cosmology and Astrophysics with MachinE Learning Simulations (CAMELS) projec…
We present a general relativistic description of galaxy clustering in a FLRW universe. The observed redshift and position of galaxies are affected by the matter fluctuations and the gravity waves between the source galaxies and the observer, and the volume element constructed by using the observables differs from the physical volume occupied by the observed galaxies. Therefore, the observed galaxy fluctuation field contains additional contributions arising from the distortion in observable quantities and these include tensor contributions as well as numerous scalar contributions. We generalize…
We predict the biasing and clustering properties of galaxy clusters that are expected to be observed in the catalogues produced by two forthcoming X-ray and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect surveys. We study a set of flat cosmological models where the primordial density probability distribution shows deviations from Gaussianity in agreement with current observational bounds form the background radiation. We consider both local and equilateral shapes for the primordial bispectrum in non-Gaussian models. The two catalogues investigated are those produced by the \emph{e}ROSITA wide survey and from a sur…
We analyze the clustering of large scale structure in the Universe in a model independent method, accounting for anisotropic effects along and transverse to the line of sight. The Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopy Survey Data Release 11 provides a large sample of 690,000 galaxies, allowing determination of the Hubble expansion H, angular distance D_A, and growth rate G_T at an effective redshift of z=0.57. After careful bias and convergence studies of the effects from small scale clustering, we find that cutting transverse separations below 40 Mpc/h delivers robust results while smaller scale da…

Associating the formation sites of haloes with the maxima of the smoothed linear density field, we present non-perturbative predictions for the Lagrangian and evolved halo correlation functions that are valid at all separations. In Lagrangian space, we find significant deviations from the perturbative bias calculation at small scales, in particular, a pronounced exclusion region where $ξ=-1$ for maxima of unequal height. Our predictions are in good agreement with the Lagrangian clustering of dark matter proto-haloes reconstructed from N-body simulations. Our predictions for the mean infall and…
We quantify the accuracy with which the cosmological parameters characterizing the energy density of matter (Ω_m), the amplitude of the power spectrum of matter fluctuations (σ_8), the energy density of neutrinos (Ω_ν) and the dark energy equation of state (w_0) can be constrained using data from large galaxy redshift surveys. We advocate a joint analysis of the abundance of galaxies, galaxy clustering, and the galaxy-galaxy weak lensing signal in order to simultaneously constrain the halo occupation statistics (i.e., galaxy bias) and the cosmological parameters of interest. We parameterize th…
We present the results of cosmological simulations of large-scale structure formation with massive neutrinos. The phase-space distribution of the cosmic relic neutrinos is followed, for the first time, by directly integrating the six-dimensional Vlasov-Poisson equations. Our novel approach allows us to represent free streaming and clustering of neutrinos, and their gravitational interaction with cold dark matter accurately. We thus obtain solutions for the collisionless dynamics independent of conventional N-body methods. We perform a suite of hybrid N-body/Vlasov simulations with varying the …
Maximising the information that can be extracted from weak lensing measurements is a key goal for upcoming surveys such as LSST and Euclid. This is typically achieved through statistics that are complementary to the cosmic shear two-point correlation function, the most well established of which is the weak lensing peak abundance. In this work, we study the clustering of weak lensing peaks, and present parameter constraint forecasts for an LSST-like survey. We use the cosmoslics $w$CDM simulations to measure the peak two-point correlation function for a range of cosmological parameters, and use…
The use of summary statistics beyond the two-point correlation function to analyze the non-Gaussian clustering on small scales is an active field of research in cosmology. In this paper, we explore a set of new summary statistics -- the $k$-Nearest Neighbor Cumulative Distribution Functions ($k{\rm NN}$-${\rm CDF}$). This is the empirical cumulative distribution function of distances from a set of volume-filling, Poisson distributed random points to the $k$-nearest data points, and is sensitive to all connected $N$-point correlations in the data. The $k{\rm NN}$-${\rm CDF}$ can be used to meas…
We determine the upper limit on the mass of the lightest neutrino from the most robust recent cosmological and terrestrial data. Marginalizing over possible effective relativistic degrees of freedom at early times ($N_\mathrm{eff}$) and assuming normal mass ordering, the mass of the lightest neutrino is less than 0.037 eV at 95% confidence; with inverted ordering, the bound is 0.042 eV. These results improve upon the strength and robustness of other recent limits and constrain the mass of the lightest neutrino to be barely larger than the largest mass splitting. We show the impacts of realisti…
The determination of the resolution of cosmological N-body simulations, i.e., the range of scales in which quantities measured in them represent accurately the continuum limit, is an important open question. We address it here using scale-free models, for which self-similarity provides a powerful tool to control resolution. Such models also provide a robust testing ground for the so-called stable clustering approximation, which gives simple predictions for them. Studying large N-body simulations of such models with different force smoothing, we find that these two issues are in fact very close…
We use large cosmological Smoothed-Particle-Hydrodynamics simulations to study the formation and evolution of sub-millimetre galaxies (SMGs). In our previous work, we studied the statistical properties of ultra-violet selected star-forming galaxies at high redshifts. We populate the same cosmological simulations with SMGs by calculating the reprocess of stellar light by dust grains into far-infrared to millimetre wavebands in a self-consistent manner. We generate light-cone outputs to compare directly the statistical properties of the simulated SMGs with available observations. Our model repro…
Likelihood fitting to two-point clustering statistics made from galaxy surveys usually assumes a multivariate normal distribution for the measurements, with justification based on the central limit theorem given the large number of overdensity modes. However, this assumption cannot hold on the largest scales where the number of modes is low. Whilst more accurate distributions have previously been developed in idealized cases, we derive a procedure suitable for analysing measured monopole power spectra with window effects, stochastic shot noise, and the dependence of the covariance matrix on th…
We explore the cosmological implications of the angle-averaged correlation function, xi(s), and the clustering wedges, xi_perp(s) and xi_para(s), of the LOWZ and CMASS galaxy samples from Data Release 10 and 11 of the SDSS-III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey. Our results show no significant evidence for a deviation from the standard LCDM model. The combination of the information from our clustering measurements with recent data from the cosmic microwave background is sufficient to constrain the curvature of the Universe to Omega_k = 0.0010 +- 0.0029, the total neutrino mass to Sum m_nu…
Present and future large scale surveys offer promising probes of cosmology. For example the Dark Energy Survey (DES) is forecast to detect ~300 millions galaxies and thousands clusters up to redshift ~1.3. I here show ongoing work to combine two probes of large scale structure : cluster number counts and galaxy 2-point function (in real or harmonic space). The halo model (coupled to a Halo Occupation Distribution) can be used to model the cross-covariance between these probes, and I introduce a diagrammatic method to compute easily the different terms involved. Furthermore, I compute the joint…
We extract cosmological information from the anisotropic power spectrum measurements from the recently completed Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), extending the concept of clustering wedges to Fourier space. Making use of new FFT-based estimators, we measure the power spectrum clustering wedges of the BOSS sample by filtering out the information of Legendre multipoles l > 4. Our modelling of these measurements is based on novel approaches to describe non-linear evolution, bias, and redshift-space distortions, which we test using synthetic catalogues based on large-volume N-body s…
The cross-correlation between the cosmic microwave background (CMB) fields and matter tracers carries important cosmological information. In this paper, we forecast by a signal-to-noise ratio analysis the information contained in the cross-correlation of the CMB anisotropy fields with source counts for future cosmological observations and its impact on cosmological parameters uncertainties, using a joint tomographic analysis. We include temperature, polarization and lensing for the CMB fields and galaxy number counts for the matter tracers. By restricting ourselves to quasi-linear scales, we f…
Studying the impact of systematic effects, optimizing survey strategies, assessing tensions between different probes and exploring synergies of different data sets require a large number of simulated likelihood analyses, each of which cost thousands of CPU hours. In this paper, we present a method to accelerate cosmological inference using emulators based on Gaussian process regression and neural networks. We iteratively acquire training samples in regions of high posterior probability which enables accurate emulation of data vectors even in high dimensional parameter spaces. We showcase the p…
Large surveys for Lyman-alpha emitting (LAE) galaxies have been proposed as a new method for measuring clustering of the galaxy population at high redshift with the goal of determining cosmological parameters. However, Lyman-alpha radiative transfer effects may modify the observed clustering of LAE galaxies in a way that mimics gravitational effects, potentially reducing the precision of cosmological constraints. For example, the effect of the linear redshift-space distortion on the power spectrum of LAE galaxies is potentially degenerate with Lyman-alpha radiative transfer effects owing to th…
We present a formalism for jointly fitting pre- and post-reconstruction redshift-space clustering (RSD) and baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) plus gravitational lensing (of the CMB) that works directly with the observed 2-point statistics. The formalism is based upon (effective) Lagrangian perturbation theory and a Lagrangian bias expansion, which models RSD, BAO and galaxy-lensing cross correlations within a consistent dynamical framework. As an example we present an analysis of clustering measured by the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey in combination with CMB lensing measured by Pla…
In order to construct accurate point sources simulations at the frequencies relevant to 21-cm experiments, the angular correlation of radio sources must be taken into account. This paper presents a measurement of angular two-point correlation function, w(θ), at 232 MHz from the MIYUN survey - tentative measurements of w(θ) are also performed at 151 MHz. It is found that double power law with shape w(θ) = A θ^{-γ} fits the 232 MHz data well. For the angular lenght of 0.2 degrees < θ< 0.6 degrees, γ~ -1.12, and this value of slope is independent of the flux-density threshold; while for angular l…
