We study charmed and strange baryon resonances that are generated dynamically within a unitary meson-baryon coupled-channel model which incorporates heavy-quark spin symmetry. This is accomplished by extending the SU(3) Weinberg-Tomozawa chiral Lagrangian to SU(8) spin-flavor symmetry and implementing a strong flavor symmetry breaking. The model generates dynamically resonances with negative parity in all the isospin, spin, and strange and charm sectors that one can form from an s-wave interaction between pseudoscalar and vector meson multiplets with $1/2^+$ and $3/2^+$ baryons. Our results are compared with experimental data from several facilities as well as with other theoretical models. Moreover, we obtain the properties of charmed pseudoscalar and vector mesons in dense matter within this coupled-channel unitary effective model by taking into account Pauli-blocking effects and meson self-energies in a self-consistent manner. We obtain the open-charm meson spectral functions in this dense nuclear environment, and discuss their implications on the formation of $D$-mesic nuclei at FAIR energies.
In this talk we summarize our latest results on the study of three-body systems with explicit/hidden charm and with strangeness. In particular, we focus on the $K D D $ and $K D\bar D^*$ systems, where a charm $+2$, isospin $1/2$ and strangeness $+1$ state is found with a mass around 4140 MeV in the former and a $K^*$ state, with hidden charm, at a mass around 4307 MeV is obtained in the latter. Both states are predictions of our model and the experimental confirmation of them would be important to understand the properties of the strong interaction in the presence of heavy quarks.
The yields of charmed hadrons emitted by strangeness rich QGP are evaluated within chemical non-equilibrium statistical hadronization model, conserving strangeness, charm, and entropy yields at hadronization.
Inspired by the recent evidence of $P_{cs}(4459)$ reported by LHCb, we continue to perform the investigation of hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks with double strangeness, which are composed of an $S$-wave charmed baryon $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}$ and an $S$-wave anti-charmed-strange meson $\bar{D}_s^{(*)}$. Both the $S$-$D$ wave mixing effect and the coupled channel effect are taken into account in realistic calculation. A dynamics calculation shows that there may exist two types of hidden-charm molecular pentaquark with double strangeness, i.e., the $Ξ_{c}^{*}\bar D_s^*$ molecular state with $J^P={5…
Quarks of different flavors have different masses, which will cause breaking of flavor symmetries of QCD. Flavor symmetries and their breaking in hadron spectroscopy play important role for understanding the internal structures of hadrons. Hadron spectroscopy with strangeness reveals the importance of unquenched quark dynamics. Systematic study of hadron spectroscopy with strange, charm and beauty quarks would be very revealing and essential for understanding the internal structure of hadrons and its underlying quark dynamics.
Motivated by the successful interpretation of these observed $P_c$ and $P_{cs}$ states under the meson-baryon molecular picture, we systematically investigate the possible hidden-charm molecular pentaquark states with triple strangeness which is due to the $Ω_{c}^{(*)}\bar{D}_s^{(*)}$ interactions. We perform a dynamical calculation of the possible hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks with triple strangeness by the one-boson-exchange model, where the $S$-$D$ wave mixing effect and the coupled channel effect are taken into account in our calculation. Our results suggest that the $Ω_{c}\bar D_s^*$…
The CLEO Collaboration recently has announced the discovery of an excited charmed and strange baryon. We estimate the expected width of this new member of the Xi_c family. We discuss the phenomenology of the excited csq and css states, and consider what additional charmed baryons might be observable in the future. We point out that the final state Xi_c + K could be an interesting new channel to examine.
Strangeness, charmonium and open charm yields in relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions are considered within statistical model approach as potential signals of the quark-gluon plasma.
We explore the feasibility of the measurement of charm-jet cross sections in charged-current deep-inelastic scattering at the future Electron-Ion Collider. This channel provides clean sensitivity to the strangeness content of the nucleon in the high-$x$ region. We estimate charm-jet tagging performance with parametrized detector simulations. We show the expected sensitivity to various scenarios for strange parton distribution functions. We argue that this measurement will be key to future QCD global analyses, so it should inform EIC detector designs and luminosity requirements.
Assuming that the recently observed hidden-charm pentaquark state, $P_c(4450)$, is of molecular nature as predicted in the unitary approach, we propose to study the decay of $Ξ^-_b\rightarrow J/ψK^- Λ$ to search for the strangeness counterpart of the $P_c(4450)$. There are three ingredients in the decay mechanism: the weak decay mechanism, the hadronization mechanism, and the finite state interactions in the meson-baryon system of strangeness $S=-2$ and isospin $I=1/2$ and of the $J/ψΛ$. All these have been tested extensively. As a result, we provide a genuine prediction of the differential cr…

We study the strangeness and charm productions induced by the pion beam, i.e. the $π^-$p $\rightarrow$ $K^{*0}Λ$ and $π^-$p $\rightarrow$ $D^{*-}Λ_c^+$ reactions, based on two different theoretical frameworks: an effective Lagrangian method and a Regge approach. In order to estimate the magnitude of the charm production relative to that of the strangeness production, we assume that the coupling constants for the charmed meson and baryon vertices are the same as those for the strangeness channel. We found that the total cross section for the charm production was about $10^3 - 10^6$ times smalle…
Strangeness and charm degrees of freedom in strongly interacting matter are discussed within a quasi-particle model adjusted to lattice QCD data. The model allows to extrapolate lattice QCD data to large baryo-chemical potential. We outline the thermal evolution of matter in the early universe at and slightly after confinement and comment briefly on charm dynamics in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.
Inspired by the newly observed $P_{ψs}^Λ(4338)$ and the reported $P_{cs}(4459)$, we indicate the existence of the molecular-type characteristic mass spectrum for hidden-charm pentaquark with strangeness. It shows that the $P_{cs}(4459)$ may contain two substructures corresponding to the $Ξ_c\bar{D}^*$ molecular states with $J^P=1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$, while there exists the corresponding $Ξ_c \bar{D}$ molecular state with $J^P=1/2^-$. As the prediction, we present another characteristic mass spectrum of the $Ξ_c^\prime\bar{D}^{(*)}$ molecular states. Experimental confirmation of these characterist…
Inspired by the observation of the $P_{cs}(4459)$ and $P_{ψs}^Λ(4338)$, we systematically investigate the magnetic moments, the transition magnetic moments, and the radiative decay behaviors of the $S$-wave isoscalar $Ξ_c^{(\prime)}\bar D^{(*)}$ molecular pentaquark states in this work. Our quantitative investigation shows that their electromagnetic properties can provide important hint to decode the inner structure of these discussed isoscalar $Ξ_c^{(\prime)}\bar D^{*}$ molecular pentaquarks. As the potential research issue, we suggest future experiment to focus on the electromagnetic propert…
We investigate on exotic tetraquark hadrons of the kind [cs][cbar sbar] by computing their spectrum and decay modes within a constituent diquark-antidiquark model. We also compare these predictions with the present experimental knowledge.
In two recent papers, we used the hadro-quarkonium model to study the properties of hidden-charm and bottom tetraquarks and pentaquarks. Here, we extend the previous results and calculate the masses of heavy-quarkonium-kaon/hyperon systems. We also compute the spectrum of hidden-charm and bottom tetraquarks with strangeness in the compact tetraquark (diquark-antidiquark) model. If heavy-light exotic systems with non-null strangeness content were to be observed experimentally, it might be possible to distinguish among the large variety of available theoretical pictures for tetra- and pentaquark…
We study the $Λ_{b}\rightarrow J/ψK^{0}Λ$ reaction considering both the $K^{0}Λ$ interaction with its coupled channels and the $J/ψΛ$ interaction. The latter is described by taking into account the fact that there are predictions for a hidden-charm state with strangeness that couples to $J/ψΛ$. By using the coupling of the resonance to $J/ψΛ$ from these predictions we show that a neat peak can be observed in the $J/ψΛ$ invariant mass distribution, rather stable under changes of unknown magnitudes. In some cases, one finds a dip structure associated to that state, but a signal of the state show…
Two signatures of the quark-gluon plasma - strangeness `enhancement' and J/psi `suppression' - in nucleus-nucleus collisions are critically discussed. A recently developed statistical coalescence model for J/ψproduction is presented. The measurements at the RHIC energies are crucial for disentangling the different scenarios of J/ψformation.
We have applied the Meson Cloud Model (MCM) to calculate the charm and strange antiquark distribution in the nucleon. The resulting distribution, in the case of charm, is very similar to the intrinsic charm momentum distribution in the nucleon. This seems to corroborate the hypothesis that the intrinsic charm is in the cloud and, at the same time, explains why other calculations with the MCM involving strange quark distributions fail in reproducing the low x region data. From the intrinsic strange distribution in the nucleon we have extracted the strangeness radius of the nucleon, which is in …
It is suggested that the recently observed enhancement of the relative yield in $e^+e^-$ annihilation of states with hidden charm and hidden strangeness above 4.43\,GeV is associated with the $S$ wave production of the charmed strange meson pairs $D_{s0}(2317) \bar D_s^* + {\rm c.c.}$ and $D_{s1}^*(2460) \bar D_s+ {\rm c.c.}$. This mechanism implies a pattern of breaking of the Heavy Quark Spin Symmetry (HQSS) that can be tested in the final channels such as $η_c(1S) ϕ$, $h_c(1P) η$, $h_c(1P) η' $ produced in the same energy range.
In this paper we investigate an SU(3) extension of the chiral quark-meson model. The spectra of baryons with strangeness, charm and bottom are considered within a "rigid oscillator" version of this model. The similarity between the quark part of the Lagrangian in the model and the Wess-Zumino term in the Skyrme model is noted. The binding energies of baryonic systems with baryon number B=2 and 3 possessing strangeness or heavy flavor are estimated. The results obtained are in good qualitative agreement with those obtained previously in the topological soliton (Skyrme) model.
In this article, we investigate the $\bar{D}Σ_c$, $\bar{D}Ξ^\prime_c$, $\bar{D}Σ_c^*$, $\bar{D}Ξ_c^*$, $\bar{D}^{*}Σ_c$, $\bar{D}^{*}Ξ^\prime_c$, $\bar{D}^{*}Σ_c^*$ and $\bar{D}^{*}Ξ_c^*$ pentaquark molecular states with strangeness and without strangeness via the QCD sum rules at length, pay much attention to the light flavor $SU(3)$ breaking effects, and make predictions for new pentaquark molecular states besides assigning the $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4380)$, $P_c(4440)$, $P_c(4457)$ and $P_{cs}(4459)$ self-consistently. We can search for those pentaquark molecular states in the decays of the $Λ_b…
The classical quenched quark models with three constituent quarks provide a good description for the baryon spatial ground states, but fail to reproduce the spectrum of baryon excited states. More and more evidences suggest that unquenched effects with multi-quark dynamics are necessary ingredients to solve the problem. Several new hyperon resonances reported recently could fit in the picture of penta-quark states. Based on this picture, some new hyperon excited states were predicted to exist; meanwhile with extension from strangeness to charm and beauty, super-heavy narrow $N^*$ and $Λ^*$ res…
A novel, unorthodox picture of the dynamics of heavy ion collisions is developed using the concept of Hagedorn states. A prescription of the bootstrap of Hagedorn states respecting the conserved quantum numbers baryon number B, strangeness S, isospin I is implememted into the GiBUU transport model. Using a strangeness saturation suppression factor suitable for nucleon-nucleon-collisions, recent experimental data for the strangeness production by the HADES collaboration in Au+Au and Ar+KCl is reasonable well described. The experimental observed exponential slopes of the energy distributions are…
The nucleon strange and anti-strange distribution asymmetry is an important issue in the study of the nucleon structure. In this work, we show that the heavy quark recombination processes from a perturbative QCD picture can give a sizable influence on the measurement of the nucleon strangeness asymmetry from charged-current charm production processes, such as the CCFR and NuTeV dimuon measurements. When the influence of heavy quark recombination is considered, a positive effective $δS^-_{\mathrm{HR}}$ should be added to the initially extracted strangeness asymmetry $S^-\equiv\int dx[s(x)-\bar …
We present results on the scalar strangeness and charm contents of the nucleon and of the disconnected contributions to the nucleon spin. These are obtained on two flavour non-perturbatively improved Sheikholeslami-Wilson configurations at a pseudoscalar mass of 290 MeV. We quote f_{T_s} = m_s<N|ss|N>/m_N< = 0.070(22) as our preliminary value for the strange quark fraction of the nucleon mass and a modified minimal subtraction scheme value Delta s = -0.015(10), with as yet unknown systematics, for the strangeness contribution to the spin.
Motivated by the recent discovery of the first hidden charm pentaquark state with strangeness $P_{cs}(4459)$ by the LHCb Collaboration, we study the likely existence of a three-body $Σ_{c}\bar{D}\bar{K}$ bound state, which shares the same minimal quark content as $P_{cs}(4459)$. The $Σ_{c}\bar{D}$ and $DK$ interactions are determined by reproducing $P_c(4312)$ and $D_{s0}^*(2317)$ as $Σ_c\bar{D}$ and $\bar{D}\bar{K}$ molecules, respectively, while the $Σ_c\bar{K}$ interaction is constrained by chiral effective theory. We indeed find a three-body bound state by solving the Schrödinger equation …
I review the properties of mesons with one heavy quark. I start by examining the predicted masses and widths in the context of the quark model and heavy quark effective theory. Some recent experimental results are described and I conclude with comments on potentially interesting future experimental studies.
The hidden-charm tetraquarks with strangeness, $c\bar{c}s\bar{q}$ $(q=u,\,d)$, in $J^P=0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$ are systematically investigated in the framework of real- and complex-scaling range of a chiral quark model, whose parameters have been fixed in advance describing hadron, hadron-hadron and multiquark phenomenology. Each tetraquark configuration, compatible with the quantum numbers studied, is taken into account; this includes meson-meson, diquark-antidiquark and K-type arrangements of quarks with all possible color wave functions in four-body sector. Among the different numerical techn…
Interest in the strange nucleon sea has been renewed when it was realized that the strangeness asymmetry $s^-=s-\bar{s}$ plays a prominent role in the interpretation of the NuTeV weak mixing angle anomaly. I review the NLO QCD calculation of the neutrino-production of opposite-sign dimuons as the experimental signature of the strange quark parton density. Results from a recent CTEQ fit are presented and discussed with respect to their stability under NLO corrections and their impact on the NuTeV measurement.
We study the $P_{cs}(4459)^0$ recently observed by LHCb using the method of QCD sum rules. Our results support its interpretation as the $\bar D^* Ξ_c$ hadronic molecular state of either $J^P=1/2^-$ or $3/2^-$. Within the hadronic molecular picture, the three LHCb experiments observing $P_c$ and $P_{cs}$ states \cite{lhcb,Aaij:2015tga,Aaij:2019vzc} can be well understood as a whole. This strongly supports the existence of hadronic molecules, whose studies can significantly improve our understanding on the construction of the subatomic world. To verify this picture, we propose to further invest…
In this talk we present a summary of our latest results on the investigation of three-body systems with explicit/hidden charm and with explicit/hidden strangeness. To be more concrete, in case of explicit strangeness quantum number, we pay attention on the $K D D $ and $K D\bar D^*$ systems, where, in the former, a charm $+2$, isospin $1/2$ and strangeness $+1$ state is obtained with a mass around 4140 MeV, while in the latter, a $K^*$ state, with hidden charm, and a mass close to 4307 MeV is found. In case of hidden strangeness, the $DK\bar K$ system is studied, while in the hidden charm and …
In this work, we investigate the interactions between the charmed-strange meson ($D_s, D_s^{*}$) in $H$-doublet and the (anti-)charmed-strange meson ($D_{s1}, D_{s2}^{*}$) in $T$-doublet, where the one boson exchange model is adopted by considering the $S$-$D$ wave mixing and the coupled-channel effects. By extracting the effective potentials for the discussed $H_s\bar{T}_s$ and $H_s{T}_s$ systems, we try to find the bound state solutions for the corresponding systems. We predict the possible hidden-charm hadronic molecular states with hidden strangeness, i.e., the $D_s^{*}\bar D_{s1}+c.c.$ st…
We present a calculation of the strangeness and charmness contents <N|\bar{s}s|N> and <N|\bar{c}c|N> of the nucleon from dynamical lattice QCD with 2+1 flavors. The calculation is performed with overlap valence quarks on 2+1-flavor domain-wall fermion gauge configurations. The configurations are generated by the RBC collaboration on a 24^3*64 lattice with sea quark mass am_l=0.005, am_s=0.04, and inverse lattice spacing a^{-1}=1.73GeV. Both actions have chiral symmetry which is essential in avoiding contamination due to the operator mixing with other flavors. Nucleon propagator and the quark l…
Strange and charmed baryon productions from proton-antiproton collisions are studied in the effective Lagrangian and Regge approaches. We include only the $t$-channel dynamics which is dominant for the diffractive region that is relevant in the present discussions. For strangeness productions, the coupling constants for $K$ meson are determined by $SU(3)$ relations while other unknown parameters for $K^{*}$ couplings and for form factors are fixed by existing observed data for strangeness productions. By extrapolating the amplitudes for strangeness productions to those for charm, we predict ch…
This dissertation presents a theoretical study of soft hadron production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We explore the principles governing the hadronization of the expanding QGP fireball, and to understand its properties. Much of the ongoing effort is to demonstrate the validity of a QGP hadronization model which describes the particle production data accurately. We begin with a centrality study of multistrange hadrons from Au-Au collisions at 62.4 GeV at RHIC. We show that the statistical hadronization model (SHM) well describes particle production in QGP hadronization. For all centra…
We present some recent results from soliton model calculations for the spectrum of baryons with a single heavy quark. The model comprises chiral symmetry for light flavors and (approximate) heavy spin-flavor symmetry for the heavy quarks. We focus on flavor symmetry breaking for strangeness degrees of freedom.
We study the properties of strange and charm mesons in hot and dense matter within a self-consistent coupled-channel approach for the experimental conditions of density and temperature expected for the CBM experiment at FAIR/GSI. The in-medium solution at finite temperature accounts for Pauli blocking effects, mean-field binding on all the baryons involved, and meson self-energies. In the strange sector, the $\bar K$ spectral function spreads over a wide range of energies, reflecting the melting of the $Λ(1405)$ resonance and the contribution of $(Λ,Σ,Σ^*)N^{-1}$ components at finite temperatu…
Static properties of multiskyrmions with baryon numbers up to 8 are calculated, including momenta of inertia and sigma-term. The calculations are based on the recently suggested SU(2) rational map ansaetze. Minimization with the help of SU(3) variational minimization program shows that these configurations become local minima in SU(3) configuration space. The B-number dependence of the so called flavour moment of inertia of multiskyrmions playing an important role in the quantization procedure is close to the linear one. The spectra of baryonic systems with strangeness, charm and bottom are co…
We study as function of energy strangeness created in relativistic heavy ion collisions. We consider statistical hadronization with chemical freeze-out in both equilibrium and nonequilibrium. We obtain strangeness per baryon and per entropy in the energy range $8.75\lessim\sqrt{s_{NN}}\lessim 200 A$ GeV. A baryon density independent evaluation of the kaon to pion ratio is presented.
The properties of strange ($K$, $\bar K$ and $\bar K^*$) and open-charm ($D$, $\bar D$ and $D^*$) mesons in dense matter are studied using a unitary approach in coupled channels for meson-baryon scattering. In the strangeness sector, the interaction with nucleons always comes through vector-meson exchange, which is evaluated by chiral and hidden gauge Lagrangians. For the interaction of charmed mesons with nucleons we extend the SU(3) Weinberg-Tomozawa Lagrangian to incorporate spin-flavor symmetry and implement a suitable flavor symmetry breaking. The in-medium solution for the scattering amp…
We study heavy-light meson resonances with quantum numbers J^P=0^+ and J^P=1^+ in terms of the non-linear chiral SU(3) Lagrangian. Adjusting the free parameters that arise at subleading order to reproduce the mass of the D(2420) resonance as well as the new states established recently by the BABAR, CLEO and BELLE collaborations we obtain refined masses for the anti-triplet and sextet states. Bound states of antikaons at the D(1867) and D(2008) mesons are predicted at 2352 MeV (J^P=0^+) and 2416 MeV (J^P=1^+). In addition we anticipate a narrow scalar state of mass 2389 MeV with (I,S)=(1/2,0)
We present results from a chiral soliton model calculation for the spectrum of baryons with a single heavy quark (charm or bottom) and non-zero strangeness. We treat the strange components within a three flavor collective coordinate quantization of the soliton that fully accounts for light flavor symmetry breaking. Heavy baryons emerge by binding a heavy meson to the soliton. The dynamics of this heavy meson is described by the heavy quark effective theory with finite mass effects included.
We study b, c quark hadronization from QGP. We obtain the yields of charm and bottom flavored hadrons within the statistical hadronization model. The important novel feature of this study is that we take into account the high strangeness and entropy content of QGP, conserving strangeness and entropy yields at hadronization.
We investigate the mass spectrum of 1^{+} exotic mesons with quark content (\c\s\cbar\qbar) or (\c\q\cbar\sbar), using molecular and diquark-antidiquark operators, in quenched lattice QCD with exact chiral symmetry. For the molecular operator {(\qbarγ_i\c)(\cbarγ_5\s)-(\cbarγ_i\s)(\qbarγ_5\c)} and the diquark-antidiquark operator {(\q^T C γ_i \c)(\sbar C γ_5 \cbar^T)- (\q^T C γ_5 \c)(\sbar C γ_i^T \cbar^T)}, both detect a 1^{+} resonance with mass around 4010 +- 50 MeV in the limit m_q -> m_{u,d}.
We study pion induced reactions for charmed baryons $B$, $π$ + N $\rightarrow$ $D^*$ + $B$. First we estimate charm production rates in comparison with strangeness production using a Regge model which is dominated by vector ($D^*$ or $K^*$ ) Reggeon exchange. Then we examine the production rates of various charmed baryons $B$ in a quark-diquark model. We find that the production of excited states are not necessarily suppressed, a sharp contrast to strangeness production, which is a unique feature of the charm production with a large momentum transfer.
We present for the first time quantitative results for the coupled dynamics of second order fluctuations in the three conserved charges of QCD based on stochastic diffusion equations for a Bjorken-type expanding hadronic medium.
Recently, a new hidden-charm pentaquark state $P_{cs}(4459)$ was reported by the LHCb Collaboration. Stimulated by the fact that all hidden-charm pentaquark states in $S=0$ systems were successfully predicted by our chiral quark model, we extended this study to the $S=-1$ systems. All possible quantum numbers $IJ^P=0(\frac{1}{2})^-$, $0(\frac{3}{2})^-$, $0(\frac{5}{2})^-$, $1(\frac{1}{2})^-$, $1(\frac{3}{2})^-$ and $1(\frac{5}{2})^-$ have been investigated. The calculation results shows that the newly observed state $P_{cs}(4459)$ can be explained as $Ξ_c \bar{D}^*$ molecular state and the qua…
The yields of heavy flavored hadrons emitted from strangeness-rich QGP are evaluated within chemical non-equilibrium statistical hadronization model, conserving strangeness, charm, and entropy yields at hadronization.
We reexamine the shapes of the strange quark parton distribution functions (PDFs) of the proton by means of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) analysis of {\hera} deep inelastic scattering cross section measurement at DESY, and inclusive gauge boson production and $W$ boson production associated with a charm quark from LHC at CERN. We find that there is an overall agreement on the strange quark distributions obtained from CMS $W$ + charm and ATLAS $W/Z$ data at the parton momentum fraction range $x \lesssim 10^{-2}$. Meanwhile, there is also a strong tension between these data towards large $x$. We …
Global fits to charmless B --> PP decays in the framework of flavor SU(3) symmetry are updated and improved without reference to the \sin2βmeasured from the charmonium decay modes. Fit results directly constrain the (\barρ,\barη) vertex of the unitarity triangle, and are used to predict the branching ratios and CP asymmetries of all decay modes, including those of the B_s system. Different schemes of SU(3) breaking in decay amplitude sizes are analyzed. The major breaking effect between strangeness-conserving and strangeness-changing decays can be accounted for by including a ratio of decay co…
We proposed a unified framework to describe the interactions of the observed $T_{cc}$, $P_c$, and $P_{cs}$ within a quark level interaction in our previous work. In this work, we generalize our framework to the loosely bound hadronic molecules composed of heavy flavor di-hadrons with strangeness. We predict the possible $D^{(*)}D^{(*)}_s$ molecular states in the SU(3) limit with the masses of the $P_c$ states as the inputs. We also investigate the baryon-meson and baryon-baryon systems and consider the SU(3) breaking effect in their flavor wave functions. We generalize our isospin criterion of…
