We apply a generic framework of linear sigma models for revealing a mechanism of the mysterious phenomenon, the chiral magnetic effect, in quark-gluon plasma. An electric current arises along a background magnetic field, which is given rise to by Q-balls (non-topological solitons) of the linear sigma model with axial anomaly. We find additional alternating current due to quark mass terms. The hadronic Q-balls, baby boson stars, may be created in heavy-ion collisions.
The paper considers the possibility of the existence of the axial current, that is directed along the axis of rotation and arises due to the presence of the Q-ball.
We argue that the presence of a very strong magnetic field in the chirally broken phase induces inhomogeneous expectation values, of a spiral nature along the magnetic field axis, for the currents of charge and chirality, when there is finite baryon density or an imbalance between left and right chiralities. This "chiral magnetic spiral" is a gapless excitation transporting the currents of (i) charge (at finite chirality), and (ii) chirality (at finite baryon density) along the direction of the magnetic field. In both cases it also induces in the transverse directions oscillating currents of c…
The placement of a magnetic monopole into an electrically-neutral chiral plasma with a non-zero axial density results in an electric polarization of the matter. The electric current produced by the chiral magnetic effect is balanced by charge diffusion and Ohmic dissipation, which generates a non-trivial charge distribution. In turn, the latter induces a separation of chiralities along the magnetic field of the monopole due to the chiral separation effect. We find the stationary states of such a system, with vanishing total electric current and stationary axial current balanced by the chiral a…
In this thesis, we study the novel dynamic critical phenomena induced by superfluidity and the chiral magnetic effect in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), respectively. In particular, we find the new dynamic universality class of the high-density QCD critical point between the nuclear and quark superfluid phases beyond the conventional Hohnenberg and Halperin's classification. We also consider the second-order chiral phase transition under an external magnetic field and find that the inclusion of the chiral magnetic effect changes the dynamic universality class from the model E into model A within…
In this paper, we shall address some field theoretic issues regarding the chiral magnetic effect. The general structure of the magnetic current consistent with the electromagnetic gauge invariance is obtained and the impact of the infrared divergence is examined. Some subtleties on the relation between the chiral magnetic effect and the axial anomaly are clarified through a careful examination of the infrared limit of the relevant thermal diagrams.
We introduce a new mechanism for the chiral magnetic effect that does not require an initial chirality imbalance. The chiral magnetic current is generated by reconnections of magnetic flux that change the magnetic helicity of the system. The resulting current is entirely determined by the change of magnetic helicity, and it is quantized.
In certain circumstances, chiral (parity-violating) medium can be described hydrodynamically as a chiral fluid with microscopic quantum anomalies. Possible examples of such systems include strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma, liquid helium 3He-A, neutron stars and the Early Universe. We study first-order hydrodynamics of a chiral fluid on a vortex background and in an external magnetic field. We show that there are two previously undiscovered modes describing heat waves propagating along the vortex and magnetic field. We call them the Thermal Chiral Vortical Wave and Thermal Chiral Magnetic Wa…
Gluon field configurations with nonzero topological charge generate chirality, inducing P- and CP-odd effects. When a magnetic field is applied to a system with nonzero chirality, an electromagnetic current is generated along the direction of the magnetic field. The induced current is equal to the Chiral Magnetic conductivity times the magnetic field. In this article we will compute the Chiral Magnetic conductivity of a high-temperature plasma for nonzero frequencies. This allows us to discuss the effects of time-dependent magnetic fields, such as produced in heavy ion collisions, on chirally …
We investigate phase transitions due to excited Q-balls. As excited Q-balls have angular momentum, a magnetic field can be generated if one considers gauged Q-balls. Based on the course of the phase transition we estimate the strength of the magnetic field and then we find that it might be the origin of observed magnetic fields of astrophysical objects such as galaxies and clusters of galaxies.
We discuss the formation of quarkyonic chiral spirals in the presence of a magnetic field. The explicit breaking of the rotational symmetry by the external magnetic field gives rise to an additional chiral spiral that varies along the field direction and rotates in the chiral space between pion and magnetic moment components.
Chiral anomalous effects in relativistic plasmas are reviewed. The essence of chiral separation and chiral magnetic effects is explained in simple terms. Qualitative differences between the two phenomena, both of which are triggered by background electromagnetic fields, are highlighted. It is shown how an interplay of the chiral separation and chiral magnetic effects could lead to a new collective plasma mode, called the chiral magnetic wave. It is argued that the chiral magnetic wave is overdamped in weakly interacting plasmas. Its fate in a strongly interacting quark-gluon plasma is less cle…
We study the real time evolution of the chiral magnetic effect out-of-equilibrium in strongly coupled anomalous field theories. We match the parameters of our model to QCD parameters and draw lessons of possible relevance for the realization of the chiral magnetic effect in heavy ion collisions. In particular, we find an equilibration time of about $\sim0.35$ fm/c in presence of the chiral anomaly for plasma temperatures of order $T\sim300-400$ MeV.
The chiral plasmon modes of relativistic matter in background magnetic and strain-induced pseudomagnetic fields are studied in detail using the consistent chiral kinetic theory. The results reveal a number of anomalous features of these chiral magnetic and pseudomagnetic plasmons that could be used to identify them in experiment. In a system with nonzero electric (chiral) chemical potential, the background magnetic (pseudomagnetic) fields not only modify the values of the plasmon frequencies in the long-wavelength limit, but also affect the qualitative dependence on the wave vector. Similar mo…
Topological charge changing transitions can induce chirality in the quark-gluon plasma by the axial anomaly. We study the equilibrium response of the quark-gluon plasma in such a situation to an external magnetic field. To mimic the effect of the topological charge changing transitions we will introduce a chiral chemical potential. We will show that an electromagnetic current is generated along the magnetic field. This is the Chiral Magnetic Effect. We compute the magnitude of this current as a function of magnetic field, chirality, temperature, and baryon chemical potential.
At zero temperature and density, the nature of the chiral phase transition in QED$_3$ with $\textit{N}_{f}$ massless fermion flavors is investigated. To this end, in Landau gauge, we numerically solve the coupled Dyson-Schwinger equations for the fermion and boson propagator within the bare and simplified Ball-Chiu vertices separately. It is found that, in the bare vertex approximation, the system undergoes a high-order continuous phase transition from the Nambu-Goldstone phase into the Wigner phase when the number of fermion flavors $\textit{N}_{f}$ reaches the critical number $\textit{N}_{f,…
We investigate the real-time dynamics of the chiral magnetic effect in quantum electrodynamics (QED) and quantum chromodynamics (QCD). We consider a field configuration of parallel (chromo)electric and (chromo)magnetic fields with a weak perpendicular electromagnetic magnetic field. The chiral magnetic effect induces an electromagnetic current along this perpendicular magnetic field, which we will compute using linear response theory. We discuss specific results for a homogeneous sudden switch-on and a pulsed (chromo)electric field in a static and homogeneous (chromo)magnetic field. Our method…
The chiral magnetic effect (CME) is an exact statement that connects via the axial anomaly the electric current in a system consisting of interacting fermions and gauge field with chirality imbalance that is put into a strong external magnetic field. Experimental search of the magnetically induced current in QCD in heavy ion collisions above a pseudocritical temperature hints, though not yet conclusive, that the induced current is either small or vanishing. This would imply that the chirality imbalance in QCD above $T_c$ that could be generated via topological fluctuations is at most very smal…
The effects of chiral imbalance and external magnetic field on pion superfluidity and color superconductivity are investigated in extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio models. We take Schwinger approach to treat the interaction between charged pion condensate and magnetic field at finite isospin density and include simultaneously the chiral imbalance and magnetic field at finite baryon density. For the superfluidity, the chiral imbalance and magnetic field lead to catalysis and inverse catalysis effects, respectively. For the superconductivity, the chiral imbalance enhances the critical baryon density,…
We consider the question of whether Q-balls can exist in a chiral Lagrangian truncated at leading order when, in addition, the Standard Model Higgs boson couples to the pseudo-Nambu-Golstone bosons (pNGBs). In particular, we consider the so-called thin-wall limit where volume energy dominates over surface energy. It is known that the leading order chiral Lagrangian alone does not support such multi-field solutions. Augmented by the Higgs, however, we do indeed find that such solutions exist. We then study their properties numerically and, in various limits, analytically. Furthermore, since we …
We study collective excitations in rotating chiral media in presence of magnetic field both in hydrodynamic framework and in kinetic theory. We find that the velocity of the mixed Chiral Magnetic-Vortical Wave is a vector sum of velocities of pure Magnetic and Vortical waves which do not exist separately under these conditions. We also use relaxation time approximation to prove that this wave itself is a non-dissipative phenomenon.
We study the excited states of the Q-balls by performing stationary perturbation on the spherical Q-balls. We find the exact solution of the stationary perturbation of the global Q-ball with thin wall approximation. For local Q-balls we solve the equations of motion for the perturbative part approximately by using expansion about the coupling constant. Furthermore we comment on the magnetic field generated by the excited Q-balls during the phase transition precipitated by solitosyhthesis and give an implication into cosmology.
I discuss the electrical conductivity, bulk viscosity, and heavy-quark diffusion coefficient in strong magnetic fields putting emphasis on consequences of the chirality conservation on the perturbative relaxation dynamics.
The chiral symmetry breaking in a Nambu-Jona-Lasinio effective model of quarks in the presence of a magnetic field is investigated. We show that new interaction tensor channels open up via Fierz identities due to the explicit breaking of the rotational symmetry by the magnetic field. We demonstrate that the magnetic catalysis of chiral symmetry breaking leads to the generation of two independent condensates, the conventional chiral condensate and a spin-one condensate. While the chiral condensate generates, as usual, a dynamical fermion mass, the new condensate enters as a dynamical anomalous …
We study the phase diagram of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model in the external magnetic field within the mean-field approximation, taking into account the inhomogeneous chiral condensate. It is shown that there appears a new type of the chiral condensate, endowed with two features of real kink crystal and dual chiral density wave, in the magnetic field. We also show that there are first order phase transitions between different inhomogeneous phases in the presence of magnetic field.
We study the modification of the chiral phase structure of QCD due to an external magnetic field. We first demonstrate how the effect of magnetic field can systematically be incorporated into a generalized Ginzburg-Landau framework. We then analyze the phase structure in the vicinity of the chiral critical point. In the chiral limit, the effect is found to be so drastic that it totally washes the tricritical point out of the phase diagram, bringing the continent for the chiral spiral. This is the case no matter how small is the intensity of the magnetic field. On the other hand, the current qu…
We perform a first lattice QCD simulation including two-flavor dynamical fermion with a chiral chemical potential. Because the chiral chemical potential gives rise to no sign problem, we can exactly analyze a chirally imbalanced QCD matter by the Monte Carlo simulation. By applying an external magnetic field to this system, we obtain a finite induced current along the magnetic field, which corresponds to the chiral magnetic effect. The obtained induced current is proportional to the magnetic field and to the chiral chemical potential, which is consistent with an analytical prediction.
We investigate the effect of a magnetic field on the vacuum of low-temperature QCD at large-N_c in the presence of a chiral chemical potential, using the holographic Sakai-Sugimoto model. Above some critical chemical potential we find an instability, which triggers a decay of the homogeneous vacuum to a non-homogeneous configuration with a spiral form, which we construct explicitly. We find that this decay is suppressed for sufficiently large magnetic field, and determine the critical strength. We find that the new vacuum does not exhibit the chiral magnetic effect. This is related to the way …
We study the chiral magnetic effect (CME) in the hadronic phase. The CME current involves pseudoscalar mesons to modify its functional form. This conclusion is independent of microscopic details. The strength of the CME current in the hadronic phase would decrease for two flavors.
Using the nonperturbative Schwinger-Dyson equation, we show that chiral symmetry is dynamically broken in QED at weak couplings when an external magnetic field is present, and that chiral symmetry is restored at temperatures above $T_c \simeq απ^2/\sqrt{2 π|eH|}$, where $α$ is the fine structure constant and $H$ is the magnetic field strength.
We discuss Chiral Magnetic Effect from quantum theory of measurements point of view for non-stationary measurements. The effect of anisotropy for fluctuations of electric currents in magnetic field is addressed. It is shown that anisotropy caused by nonzero axial chemical potential is indistinguishable in this framework from anisotropy caused by finite measurement time or finite lifetime of the magnetic field, and in all cases it is related to abelian triangle anomaly. Possible P-odd effects for central heavy ions collisions (where Chiral Magnetic Effect is absent) are discussed in this contex…
We first compare different approaches to estimates of the magnitude of the chiral magnetic effect in relativistic heavy ion collisions and show that their main difference lies in the assumptions on the length of persistence of the magnetic field generated by the colliding nuclei. We then analyze recent measurements of the global polarization of $Λ$ and $\bar Λ$ hyperons in terms of the bounds they set on the magnitude of the late time magnetic field.
The essence of the chiral magnetic effect is generation of an electric current along an external magnetic field. Recently it has been studied by Rebhan et al. within the Sakai--Sugimoto model, where it was shown to be zero. As an alternative, we calculate the chiral magnetic effect in soft-wall AdS/QCD and find a non-zero result with the natural boundary conditions. The mechanism of the dynamical neutralization of the chiral chemical potential via the string production is discussed in the dual two-form representation.
We investigate the magnetic moments of the baryon antidecuplet within the framework of the chiral quark-soliton model in the chiral limit in a ``\emph{model-independent}'' approach. Sum rules for the magnetic moments are derived. The magnetic moment of $Θ^{+}$ is found to be about $0.2\sim 0.3 μ_{N}$.
Magnetic monopoles and Q-balls are examples of topological and nontopological solitons, respectively. A new soliton state with both topological and nontopological charges is shown to also exist, given a monopole sector with a portal coupling to an additional scalar field $S$ with a global $U(1)$ symmetry. This new state, the Q-monopole-ball, is more stable than an isolated Q-ball made of only $S$ particles, and it could be stable against fissioning into monopoles and free $S$ particles. Stable Q-monopole-balls can contain large magnetic charges, providing a novel nongravitational mechanism for…
The consistent chiral kinetic theory accurate to the second order in electromagnetic and pseudoelectromagnetic fields is derived for a relativistic matter with two Weyl fermions. By making use of such a framework, the properties of longitudinal collective excitations, which include both chiral magnetic and chiral pseudomagnetic waves, are studied. It is shown that the proper treatment of dynamical electromagnetism transforms these gapless waves into chiral (pseudo)magnetic plasmons, whose Langmuir (plasma) gap receives corrections quadratic in both magnetic and pseudomagnetic fields.
We study the dynamical generation of the chiral chemical potential in a Weyl metal constructed from a three-dimensional optical lattice and subject to synthetic gauge fields. By numerically solving the Boltzmann equation with the Berry curvature in the presence of parallel synthetic electric and magnetic fields, we find that the spectral flow and the ensuing chiral magnetic current emerge. We show that the spectral flow and the chiral chemical potential can be probed by time-of-flight imaging.
It depends: While we find within holography that the lifetime of the magnetic field for collider energies like the ones achieved at RHIC is long enough to build up the chiral magnetic current, the lifetime of the magnetic field at LHC seems to be too short. We study the real time evolution of the chiral magnetic effect out-of-equilibrium in strongly coupled holographic gauge theories. We consider the backreaction of the magnetic field onto the geometry and monitor pressure and chiral magnetic current. Our findings show that generically at small magnetic field the pressure builds up faster than…
We identify a new contribution to the chiral magnetic conductivity at finite frequencies -- the magnetization current. This allows to quantitatively reproduce the known field-theoretic time-dependent (AC) chiral magnetic response in terms of kinetic theory. We evaluate the corresponding AC chiral magnetic conductivity in two flavor QCD plasma at weak coupling. The magnetization current results from the spin response of chiral quasiparticles to magnetic field, and is thus proportional to the quasiparticle's $g$-factor. In condensed matter systems, where the chiral quasi-particles are emergent a…
In the presence of cosmic chiral asymmetry, chiral-vorticity and chiral-magnetic effects can play an important role in the generation and evolution of magnetic fields in the early universe. We include these chiral effects in the magnetic field equations and find solutions under simplifying assumptions. Our numerical and analytical results show the presence of an attractor solution in which chiral effects produce a strong, narrow, Gaussian peak in the magnetic spectrum and the magnetic field becomes maximally helical. The peak in the spectrum shifts to longer length scales and becomes sharper w…
We study some properties of the non-Abelian vacuum induced by strong external magnetic field. We perform calculations in the quenched SU(3) lattice gauge theory with tadpole-improved Luscher-Weisz action and chirally invariant lattice Dirac operator. The following results are obtained: The chiral symmetry breaking is enhanced by the magnetic field. The chiral condensate depends on the strength of the applied field as a power function with exponent n = 1.6 +/- 0.2. There is a paramagnetic polarization of the vacuum. The corresponding susceptibility and other magnetic properties are calculated a…
A self-consistent construction of the overlap lattice Dirac operator coupled to chiral chemical potential is proposed. With the help of the constructed operator we compute electric current induced by a constant magnetic field (Chiral Magnetic Effect). We find that the result disagrees with the one predicted by anomaly-based arguments and comment on the origin of this discrepancy. We demonstrate that a straightforward lattice calculation with a constant magnetic field and a uniform chiral chemical potential in fact corresponds to an infrared singularity in the dimensionally reduced polarization…
We review recent progress on the lattice simulations of the chiral magnetic effect. There are two different approaches to analyze the chiral magnetic effect on the lattice. In one approach, the charge density distribution or the current fluctuation is measured under a topological background of the gluon field. In the other approach, the topological effect is mimicked by the chiral chemical potential, and the induced current is directly measured. Both approaches are now developing toward the exact analysis of the chiral magnetic effect.
The hypothesis that the magnetic catalysis of chiral symmetry breaking is due to interactions of massless fermions in their lowest Landau level is examined in the context of chirally symmetric models with short ranged interactions. It is argued that, when the magnetic field is sufficiently large, even an infinitesimal attractive interaction in the appropriate channel will break chiral symmetry.
We give an elementary derivation of the chiral magnetic effect based on a strong magnetic field lowest-Landau-level projection in conjunction with the well-known axial anomalies in two- and four-dimensional space-time. The argument is general, based on a Schur decomposition of the Dirac operator. In the dimensionally reduced theory, the chiral magnetic effect is directly related to the relativistic form of the Peierls instability, leading to a spiral form of the condensate, the chiral magnetic spiral. We then discuss the competition between spin projection, due to a strong magnetic field, and …
We study the electrodynamics of a chiral medium with electric and magnetic charges using the effective Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory extended to include the magnetic current. The exchange of helicity between the chiral medium and the magnetic field, known as the inverse cascade, is controlled by the chiral anomaly equation. In the presence of the magnetic current, the magnetic helicity is dissipated, so that the inverse cascade stops when the magnetic helicity vanishes while the chiral conductivity reaches a non-vanishing stationary value satisfying $σ_χ^2< 4σ_eσ_m$, where $σ_e$, $σ_m$ and $σ_χ$…
By using the exact solutions of the Weyl equation in a constant magnetic field, the equal-time Wigner function for magnetized chiral plasma is derived. It is found that the dependence of the Wigner function on the component of momentum along the magnetic field is asymmetric and is correlated with the fermion chirality. Such a dependence is principal for reproducing the correct chiral magnetic and chiral separation effects. In the lowest Landau level approximation, the equation for the equal-time Wigner function in a strong magnetic field is derived. By making use of this equation, it is found …
The (3+1)D relativistic hydrodynamics with chiral anomaly is used to obtain a quantitative description of the chiral magnetic effect (CME) in heavy-ion collisions. We find that the charge-dependent hadron azimuthal correlations are sensitive to the CME, and that the experimental observations are consistent with the presence of the effect.
Following the recent work by Braguta et al., we perform an indirect calculation of the chiral vortical conductivity with free lattice overlap fermions by measuring the response of the energy flow to the constant axial magnetic field. We find that the measurements are contaminated by very large finite-volume artifacts. However, the continuum result for finite-temperature contribution to the chiral vortical conductivity (T^2/12) is still reproduced in the limit of infinite volume at fixed temperature.
We investigate the effect of a non-zero magnetic field on the chiral condensate using a holographic QCD approach. We extend the model proposed by Iatrakis, Kiritsis and Paredes in arXiv:1010.1364 that realises chiral symmetry breaking dynamically from 5d tachyon condensation. We calculate the chiral condensate, magnetisation and susceptibilities for the confined and deconfined phases. The model leads, in the probe approximation, to magnetic catalysis of chiral symmetry breaking in both confined and deconfined phases. In the chiral limit, $m_q=0$, we find that in the deconfined phase a sufficie…
We have computed the chiral susceptibility in quark-gluon plasma in presence of finite chemical potential and weak magnetic field within hard thermal loop approximation. First we construct the massive effective quark propagator in a thermomagnetic medium. Then we obtain completely analytic expression for the chiral susceptibility in weak magnetic field approximation. In the absence of magnetic field the thermal chiral susceptibility increases in presence of finite chemical potential. The effect of thermomagnetic correction is found to be very marginal as temperature is the dominant scale in we…
We present two-loop results for the quark condensate in an external magnetic field within chiral perturbation theory using coordinate space techniques. At finite temperature, we explore the impact of the magnetic field on the pion-pion interaction in the quark condensate for arbitrary pion masses and derive the correct weak magnetic field expansion in the chiral limit. At zero temperature, we provide the complete two-loop representation for the vacuum energy density and the quark condensate.
Using the Gell-Mann-Oakes-Renner (GOR) relation and semi-classical arguments, we show that the bulk quark spectrum in QCD exhibits a variety of regimes including the ergodic one described by random matrix theory. We analyze the quark spectral form-factor in the diffusive and ballistic regime. We suggest that a class of chiral transitions in QCD is possibly of the metal-insulator type, with a universal spectral statistics at the mobility edge.
We study how an external magnetic field modifies the chiral phase structure of QCD, in particular the phases characterized by inhomogeneous chiral condensates. The magnetic field can be systematically incorporated into a generalized Ginzburg-Landau framework, and it turns out to induce a model independent universal coupling between the magnetic field and the axial isospin current. The resulting effect is found to be drastic especially in the chiral limit; no matter how small the magnetic intensity is, the tricritical Lifshitz point is totally washed out, and the real kink crystal is replaced b…
We study a photonic analog of the chiral magnetic (vortical) effect. We discuss that the vector component of magnetoelectric tensors plays a role of "vector potential," and its rotation is understood as "magnetic field" of a light. Using the geometrical optics approximation, we show that "magnetic fields" cause an anomalous shift of a wave packet of a light through an interplay with the Berry curvature of photons. The mechanism is the same as that of the chiral magnetic (vortical) effect of a chiral fermion, so that we term the anomalous shift "chiral magnetic effect of a light." We further st…
Based on the generalized Ginzburg-Landau theory, chiral phase transition is discussed in the presence of magnetic field. Considering the chiral density wave we show chiral anomaly gives rise to an inhomogeneous chiral phase for nonzero quark-number chemical potential. Novel Lifshitz point appears on the vanishing chemical potential line, which may be directly explored by the lattice QCD simulation.
The chiral magnetic and chiral separation effects---quantum-anomaly-induced electric current and chiral current along an external magnetic field in parity-odd quark-gluon plasma---have received intense studies in the community of heavy-ion collision physics. We show that analogous effects occur in rotating trapped Fermi gases with Weyl-Zeeman spin-orbit coupling where the rotation plays the role of an external magnetic field. These effects can induce a mass quadrupole in the atomic cloud along the rotation axis which may be tested in future experiments. Our results suggest that the spin-orbit …
The interplay of quantum anomalies with strong magnetic field and vorticity in chiral systems could lead to novel transport phenomena, such as the chiral magnetic effect (CME), the chiral magnetic wave (CMW) and the chiral vortical effect (CVE). In high-energy nuclear collisions, these chiral effects may survive the expansion of a quark-gluon plasma fireball and be detected in experiments. The experimental searches for the CME, the CMW and the CVE, have aroused extensive interest over the past couple of decades. The main goal of this article is to review latest experimental progress in search …
We discuss equilibrium relativistic fermionic systems in lattice regularization, and extend the consideration of chiral magnetic effect to systems with spatial inhomogeneity and finite temperature. Besides, we take into account interactions due to exchange by gauge bosons. We find that the equilibrium chiral magnetic conductivity remains equal to zero.
We study the two-flavor Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model with the Polyakov loop (PNJL model) in the presence of a strong magnetic field and a chiral chemical potential $μ_5$ which mimics the effect of imbalanced chirality due to QCD instanton and/or sphaleron transitions. Firstly we focus on the properties of chiral symmetry breaking and deconfinement crossover under the strong magnetic field. Then we discuss the role of $μ_5$ on the phase structure. Finally the chirality charge, electric current, and their susceptibility, which are relevant to the Chiral Magnetic Effect, are computed in the model.
