We prove existence of global solutions for differential equations driven by a geometric rough path under the condition that the vector fields have linear growth. We show by an explicit counter-example that the linear growth condition is not sufficient if the driving rough path is not geometric. This settle a long-standing open question in the theory of rough paths. So in the geometric setting we recover the usual sufficient condition for differential equation. The proof rely on a simple mapping of the differential equation from the Euclidean space to a manifold to obtain a rough differential equation with bounded coefficients.
The purpose of this article is to solve rough differential equations with the theory of regularity structures. These new tools recently developed by Martin Hairer for solving semi-linear partial differential stochastic equations were inspired by the rough path theory. We take a pedagogical approach to facilitate the understanding of this new theory. We recover results of the rough path theory with the regularity structure framework. Hence, we show how to formulate a fixed point problem in the abstract space of modelled distributions to solve the rough differential equations. We also give a pro…
We investigate rough differential equations with a time-dependent reflecting lower barrier, where both the driving (rough) path and the barrier itself may have jumps. Assuming the driving signals allow for Young integration, we provide existence, uniqueness and stability results. When the driving signal is a càdlàg $p$-rough path for $p \in [2,3)$, we establish existence to general reflected rough differential equations, as well as uniqueness in the one-dimensional case.
We propose a quantitative direct method of proving the stability result for Gaussian rough differential equations in the sense of Gubinelli \cite{gubinelli}. Under the strongly dissipative assumption of the drift coefficient function, we prove that the trivial solution of the system under small noise is exponentially stable.

We study linear rough partial differential equations in the setting of [Friz and Hairer, Springer, 2014, Chapter 12]. More precisely, we consider a linear parabolic partial differential equation driven by a deterministic rough path $\mathbf{W}$ of Hölder regularity $α$ with $1/3 < α \le 1/2$. Based on a stochastic representation of the solution of the rough partial differential equation, we propose a regression Monte Carlo algorithm for spatio-temporal approximation of the solution. We provide a full convergence analysis of the proposed approximation method which essentially relies on the new …
We consider finite dimensional rough differential equations driven by centered Gaussian processes. Combining Malliavin calculus, rough paths techniques and interpolation inequalities, we establish upper bounds on the density of the corresponding solution for any fixed time $t>0$. In addition, we provide Varadhan estimates for the asymptotic behavior of the density for small noise. The emphasis is on working with general Gaussian processes with covariance function satisfying suitable abstract, checkable conditions.
Due to recent developments of Malliavin calculus for rough differential equations, it is now known that, under natural assumptions, the law of a unique solution at a fixed time has a smooth density function. Therefore, it is quite natural to ask whether or when the density is strictly positive. In this paper we study this problem from the viewpoint of Aida-Kusuoka-Stroock's general theory.
The It{ô} map assigns the solution of a Rough Differential Equation, a generalization of an Ordinary Differential Equation driven by an irregular path, when existence and uniqueness hold. By studying how a path is transformed through the vector field which is integrated, we prove that the It{ô} map is H{ö}lder or Lipschitz continuous with respect to all its parameters. This result unifies and weaken the hypotheses of the regularity results already established in the literature.
We investigate mild solutions for stochastic evolution equations driven by a fractional Brownian motion (fBm) with Hurst parameter H in (1/3, 1/2] in infinite-dimensional Banach spaces. Using elements from rough paths theory we introduce an appropriate integral with respect to the fBm. This allows us to solve pathwise our stochastic evolution equation in a suitable function space.
We continue the approach in Part I \cite{duchong19} to study stationary states of controlled differential equations driven by rough paths, using the framework of random dynamical systems and random attractors. Part II deals with driving paths of finite $ν$ - Hölder norms with $ν\in (\frac{1}{3},\frac{1}{2})$ so that the integrals are interpreted in the Gubinelli sense for controlled rough paths. We prove sufficient conditions for the attractor to be a singleton, thus the pathwise convergence is in both pullback and forward senses.

We study a rough differential equation driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H$ $(1/4<H \le 1/2)$. Under Hörmander's condition on the coefficient vector fields, the solution has a smooth density for each fixed time. Using Watanabe's distributional Malliavin calculus, we obtain a short time full asymptotic expansion of the density under quite natural assumptions. Our main result can be regarded as a "fractional version" of Ben Arous' famous work on the off-diagonal asymptotics.
In this paper, we establish the theory of nonlinear rough paths. We give the definition of nonlinear rough paths, and develop the integrals. Then, we study differential equations driven by nonlinear rough paths. Afterwards, we compare the nonlinear rough paths and classic theory of linear rough paths. Finally, we apply this theory to rough partial differential equations.
We prove well-posedness and rough path stability of a class of linear and semi-linear rough PDE's on $\mathbb{R}^d$ using the variational approach. This includes well-posedness of (possibly degenerate) linear rough PDE's in $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d)$, and then -- based on a new method -- energy estimates for non-degenerate linear rough PDE's. We accomplish this by controlling the energy in a properly chosen weighted $L^2$-space, where the weight is given as a solution of an associated backward equation. These estimates then allow us to extend well-posedness for linear rough PDE's to semi-linear pertu…
Short time kernel asymptotics for rough differential equation driven by fractional Brownian motion
This work focuses on the Laplace approximation for the rough differential equation (RDE) driven by mixed rough path with as . Firstly, based on geometric rough path lifted from mixed fractional Brownian motion (fBm), the Schilder-type large deviation principle (LDP) for the law of the first level path of the solution to the RDE is given. Due to the particularity of mixed rough path, the main difficulty in carrying out the Laplace approximation is to prove the Hilbert-Schmidt property for the Hessian matrix of the Itô map restricted on the Cameron-Martin space of the mixed fBm. To this end, we …

G-Brownian Motion as Rough Paths and Differential Equations Driven by G-Brownian Motion
We study the Taylor expansion for the solutions of differential equations driven by $p$-rough paths with $p>2$. We prove a general theorem concerning the convergence of the Taylor expansion on a nonempty interval provided that the vector fields are analytic on a ball centered at the initial point. We also derive criteria that enable us to study the rate of convergence of the Taylor expansion. Finally and this is also the main and the most original part of this paper, we prove Castell expansions and tail estimates with exponential decays for the remainder terms of the solutions of the stochasti…
