This note deals with existence and uniqueness of (variational) solutions to the following type of stochastic partial differential equations on a Hilbert space H dX(t) = A(t,X(t))dt + B(t,X(t))dW(t) + h(t) dG(t) where A and B are random nonlinear operators satisfying monotonicity conditions and G is an infinite dimensional Gaussian process adapted to the same filtration as the cylindrical Wiener pocess W(t), t >= 0.
The asymptotic analysis of a class of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) with fully locally monotone coefficients covering a large variety of physical systems, a wide class of quasilinear SPDEs and a good number of fluid dynamic models is carried out in this work. The aim of this work is to develop the large deviation theory for small Gaussian as well as Poisson noise perturbations of the above class of SPDEs. We establish a Wentzell-Freidlin type large deviation principle for the strong solutions to such SPDEs perturbed by Lévy noise in a suitable Polish space using a variation…
We consider semilinear stochastic evolution equations on Hilbert spaces with multiplicative Wiener noise and linear drift term of the type $A + \varepsilon G$, with $A$ and $G$ maximal monotone operators and $\varepsilon$ a "small" parameter, and study the differentiability of mild solutions with respect to $\varepsilon$. The operator $G$ can be a singular perturbation of $A$, in the sense that its domain can be strictly contained in the domain of $A$.

We use the variational approach to investigate periodic measures for a class of SPDEs with regime-switching. The hybrid system is driven by degenerate Lévy noise. We use the Lyapunov function method to study the existence of periodic measures and show the uniqueness of periodic measures by establishing the strong Feller property and irreducibility of the associated time-inhomogeneous semigroup. The main results are applied to stochastic porous media equations with regime-switching.
This article deals with stochastic partial differential equations with quadratic nonlinearities perturbed by small additive and multiplicative noise. We present the approximate solution of the original equation via the amplitude equation and give the rigorous error analysis. For illustration, we apply our main theorems to stochastic Burger's equation.
In this paper, we aim to study the asymptotic behaviour for a class of McKean-Vlasov stochastic partial differential equations with slow and fast time-scales. Using the variational approach and classical Khasminskii time discretization, we show that the slow component strongly converges to the solution of the associated averaged equation. In particular, the corresponding convergence rates are also obtained. The main results can be applied to demonstrate the averaging principle for various McKean-Vlasov nonlinear SPDEs such as stochastic porous media type equation, stochastic $p$-Laplace type e…
This paper is devoted to investigating the Freidlin-Wentzell's large deviation principle for a class of McKean-Vlasov quasilinear SPDEs perturbed by small multiplicative noise. We adopt the variational framework and the modified weak convergence criteria to prove the Laplace principle for McKean-Vlasov type SPDEs, which is equivalent to the large deviation principle. Moreover, we do not assume any compactness condition of embedding in the Gelfand triple to handle both the cases of bounded and unbounded domains in applications. The main results can be applied to various McKean-Vlasov type SPDEs…
We consider an interacting particles system composed of a Hamiltonian part and perturbed by a conservative stochastic noise so that the full system conserves two quantities: energy and volume. The Hamiltonian part is regulated by a scaling parameter vanishing in the limit. We study the form of the fluctuations of these quantities at equilibrium and derive coupled stochastic partial differential equations with a KPZ flavor.
We study the motion of the hypersurface $(γ_t)_{t\geq 0}$ evolving according to the mean curvature perturbed by $\dot{w}^Q$, the formal time derivative of the $Q$-Wiener process ${w}^Q$, in a two dimensional bounded domain. Namely, we consider the equation describing the evolution of $γ_t$ as a stochastic partial differential equation (SPDE) with a multiplicative noise in the Stratonovich sense, whose inward velocity $V$ is determined by $V=κ\,+\,G \circ \dot{w}^Q$, where $κ$ is the mean curvature and $G$ is a function determined from $γ_t$. Already known results in which the noise depends on …
We consider a class of parabolic stochastic partial differential equations featuring an antimonotone nonlinearity. The existence of unique maximal and minimal variational solutions is proved via a fixed-point argument for nondecreasing mappings in ordered spaces. This relies on the validity of a comparison principle.
In this article, we consider the following class of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDE): \begin{equation*} \left\{\begin{aligned}\mathrm{d} \mathbf{X}(t)&=\mathrm{A}(t,\mathbf{X}(t))\mathrm{d} t+\mathrm{B}(t,\mathbf{X}(t))\mathrm{d}\mathrm{W}(t)+\int_{\mathrm{Z}}γ(t,\mathbf{X}(t-),z)\widetildeπ(\mathrm{d} t,\mathrm{d} z),\; t\in[0,T],\\ \mathbf{X}(0)&=\boldsymbol{x} \in \mathbb{H},\end{aligned} \right.\end{equation*} with fully locally monotone coefficients in a Gelfand triplet $\mathbb{V}\subset \mathbb{H}\subset\mathbb{V}^*$, where the mappings \begin{align*} \mathrm{A}:[0,T]\ti…
This work aims to prove the small time large deviation principle (LDP) for a class of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) with locally monotone coefficients in generalized variational framework. The main result could be applied to demonstrate the small time LDP for various quasilinear and semilinear SPDEs such as stochastic porous media equations, stochastic $p$-Laplace equations, stochastic Burgers type equation, stochastic 2D Navier-Stokes equation, stochastic power law fluid equation and stochastic Ladyzhenskaya model. In particular, our small time LDP result seems to be new i…
The main goal of this article is to study the effect of small, highly nonlinear, unbounded drifts (small time large deviation principle (LDP) based on exponential equivalence arguments) for a class of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) with fully monotone coefficients driven by multiplicative Gaussian noise. The small time LDP obtained in this paper is applicable for various quasi-linear and semilinear SPDEs such as porous medium equations, Cahn-Hilliard equation, 2D Navier-Stokes equations, convection-diffusion equation, 2D liquid crystal model, power law fluids, Ladyzhenskaya …
In this paper, we establish the existence and uniqueness of invariant measures for a class of semilinear stochastic partial differential equations driven by multiplicative noise on a bounded domain. The main results can be applied to SPDEs of various types such as the stochastic Burgers equation and the reaction-diffusion equations perturbed by space-time white noise.
In this paper, we use the variational approach to investigate recurrent properties of solutions for stochastic partial differential equations, which is in contrast to the previous semigroup framework. Consider stochastic differential equations with monotone coefficients. Firstly, we establish the continuous dependence on initial values and coefficients for solutions. Secondly, we prove the existence of recurrent solutions, which include periodic, almost periodic and almost automorphic solutions. Then we show that these recurrent solutions are globally asymptotically stable in square-mean sense…
We prove existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for a class of semilinear stochastic evolution equations driven by general Hilbert space-valued semimartingales, with drift equal to the sum of a linear maximal monotone operator in variational form and of the superposition operator associated to a random time-dependent monotone function defined on the whole real line. Such a function is only assumed to satisfy a very mild symmetry-like condition, but its rate of growth towards infinity can be arbitrary. Moreover, the noise is of multiplicative type and can be path-dependent. The solution i…
Using the generalized variational framework, the strong/weak existence and uniqueness of solutions are derived for a class of distribution dependent stochastic porous media equations on general measure spaces, which also extends the classical well-posedness result of quasilinear SPDE to the distribution dependent case.
In this article, we study a class of semilinear stochastic partial differential equations driven by an additive space time white noise. We establish Harnack inequalities for the semigroup associated with the solution by using coupling method, which implies the strong Feller property. Our results generalize the results of Zhang [Potential Analysis 33 (2010), no. 2, 137-151.] and can be applied to some types of SPDE such as reaction-diffusion equation and transport-diffusion equation perturbed by space time white noise.
This paper is devoted to the study of hyperbolic systems of linear partial differential equations perturbed by a Brownian motion. The existence and uniqueness of solutions are proved by an energy method. The specific features of this class of stochastic partial differential equations are highlighted and the comparison with standard existence results for SPDEs is discussed. The small perturbations problem is studied and a large deviation principle is stated. A pathwise approximation result, similar to the stochastic differential equations case, is established, with an application to a support t…
We consider a particle system with a mean-field-type interaction perturbed by some common and individual noises. When the interacting kernels are sublinear and only locally Lipschitz-continuous, relying on arguments based on the tightness of random measures in Wasserstein spaces, we are able to construct a weak solution of the corresponding limiting SPDE. In a setup where the diffusion coefficient on the environmental noise is bounded, this weak convergence can be turned into a strong L^p($Ω$) convergence and the propagation of chaos for the particle system can be established. The systems cons…
Motivated by the traditional Lotka-Volterra competitive models, this paper proposes and analyzes a class of stochastic reaction-diffusion partial differential equations. In contrast to the models in the literature, the new formulation enables spatial dependence of the species. In addition, the noise process is allowed to be space-time white noise. In this work, wellposedness, regularity of solutions, existence of density, and existence of an invariant measure for stochastic reaction-diffusion systems with non-Lipschitz and non-linear growth coefficients and multiplicative noise are considered.…
We prove existence and uniqueness of solutions to a class of stochastic semilinear evolution equations with a monotone nonlinear drift term and multiplicative noise, considerably extending corresponding results obtained in previous work of ours. In particular, we assume the initial datum to be only measurable and we allow the diffusion coefficient to be locally Lipschitz-continuous. Moreover, we show, in a quantitative fashion, how the finiteness of the $p$-th moment of solutions depends on the integrability of the initial datum, in the whole range $p \in ]0,\infty[$. Lipschitz continuity of t…
