We show that a top-prime quark as heavy as 600 GeV can be discovered at the Tevatron, provided it is resonantly pair-produced via a vector color octet. If the top-prime originates from a vectorlike quark, then the production of a single top-prime in association with a top may also be observable, even through its decay into a Higgs boson and a top. A color octet with mass of about 1 TeV, which decays into a top-prime pair, may account for the CDF excess of semileptonic (Wj)(Wj) events.
This letter presents a study of prospects of searching for excited leptons during RunII of the Fermilab Tevatron. We concentrate on single and pair production of excited electrons in the photonic decay channel in one CDF/DO detector equivalent for 2 fb^{-1}. By the end of RunIIa, the limits should be easily extended beyond those set by LEP and HERA for excited leptons with mass above about 190 GeV.
Discovering the Higgs boson is one of the primary goals of both the Tevatron and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The present status of the Higgs search is reviewed and future prospects for discovery at the Tevatron and LHC are considered. This talk focuses primarily on the Higgs boson of the Standard Model and its minimal supersymmetric extension. Theoretical expectations for the Higgs boson and its phenomenological consequences are reviewed.
Preliminary results from a Fermilab study of the sensitivity for higgs production at the Tevatron in run II and beyond are presented. The study extends existing results by systematically combining all decay channels, considering the production of higher mass higgs bosons and interpreting the results in the context of supersymmetric higgs production as well as standard model production. In addition new analysis methods which significantly improve sensisity are used.
We carry out an event generator based study to evaluate the usefulness of the the exclusive signature ``$e^\pm (μ^\pm) + 2$ bottom jets'' in discovering the Higgs boson at the Tevatron. Using an event generator, we show that with enough luminosity, one should be able to detect the Higgs boson up to the mass of about 130 GeV. We consider a slightly modified version of the above signature that includes one extra jet. This new signature is more useful because it increases the number of signal events significantly.
We analyse the possibilities to detect a new $Z^{\prime}$ boson in di-electron events at Tevatron and LHC in the framework of the 331 model with right-handed neutrinos. Using $p\bar{p}$ collision data collected by the CDF II detector at Fermilab Tevatron, we find that the 331 $Z^{\prime}$ boson is excluded with masses below 920 GeV. For an integrated luminosity of $100 fb^{-1}$ at LHC, and considering a central value $M_{Z^{\prime}}=1500$ GeV, we obtain the invariant mass distribution in the process $pp\to Z^{\prime}\to e^{+}e^{-}$, where a huge peak, corresponding to 800 signal events, is fou…
We extend our previous analysis on inclusive heavy quarkonia hadroproduction to the whole Upsilon(nS) (n=1,2,3) resonance family. We use a Monte Carlo framework with the colour-octet mechanism implemented in the PYTHIA event generator. We include in our study higher order QCD effects such as initial-state emission of gluons and Altarelli-Parisi evolution of final-state gluons. We extract some NRQCD colour-octet matrix elements relevant for Upsilon(nS) (n=1,2,3) hadroproduction from CDF data at the Fermilab Tevatron. Then we extrapolate to LHC energies to predict prompt bottomonia production ra…
We investigate the prospects for heavy charged Higgs boson production through the mechanisms pp-bar(pp)->tbH+ +X at the upgraded Fermilab Tevatron and at the upcoming LHC collider at CERN respectively. We focus on the MSSM case at high values of tan[beta]> m_top/m_bot and include the leading SUSY quantum corrections. A detailed study is performed for all important production modes and basic background processes for the "ttbb" signature. At the upgraded Tevatron a charged Higgs signal is potentially viable in the 220-250 GeV range or excluded at 95%CL up to 300 GeV. At the LHC, a H+ of mass up …
We propose a search for direct production and decay of the lightest supersymmetric Higgs boson to two neutralinos in gauge mediated models at the Fermilab Tevatron. We focus on the final state where each neutralino decays to photon and light gravitino with a lifetime of order O(ns). In the detector this will show up as a photon with a time-delayed signature and missing E_T. We estimate that using the photon timing system at CDF, and the full 10/fb data sample, that the sensitivity can be within a factor of three in some regions of parameter space for direct production of the Higgs.
We analyze the Tevatron reach for neutral Higgs bosons in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), using current exclusion limits on the Standard Model Higgs. We study four common benchmark scenarios for the soft supersymmetry-breaking parameters of the MSSM, including cases where the Higgs decays differ significantly from the Standard Model, and provide projections for the improvements in luminosity and efficiency required for the Tevatron to probe sizeable regions of the $(m_A, \tanβ)$ plane.
We discuss the Higgs boson mass sum rules in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model in order to estimate the upper limits on the masses of stop quarks as well as the lower bounds on the masses of the scalar Higgs boson states. The investigation of the bounds on the scale of quark-lepton compositeness derived from the CDF Collaboration (Fermilab Tevatron) data and applied to new extra gauge bosons is taken into account. These extra gauge bosons are considered in the framework of the extended $SU(2)_{h}\times SU(2)_{l}$ interaction model.
We study the double-diffractive production of various heavy systems (e.g. Higgs, dijet, t tbar and SUSY particles) at LHC and Tevatron collider energies. In each case we compute the probability that the rapidity gaps, which occur on either side of the produced system, survive the effects of soft rescattering and QCD bremsstrahlung effects. We calculate both the luminosity for different production mechanisms, and a wide variety of subprocess cross sections. The results allow numerical predictions to be readily made for the cross sections of all these processes at the LHC and the Tevatron collid…
Data from HERA, LEP and the Tevatron, as well as from low energy experiments are used to constrain the scale of possible electron-quark contact interactions. Different models are considered, including the most general one, in which all new couplings can vary independently. Limits on couplings and mass scales are extracted and upper limits on possible effects to be observed in future HERA, LEP and Tevatron running are estimated. Total hadronic cross-section at LEP and e-p scattering cross-section at HERA are strongly constrained by existing data, whereas large cross-section deviations are still…
Chromomagnetic and chromoelectric dipole interactions of the top quark are studied in a model independent framework. Limits are set on the scale of new physics that might lead to such contributions using available Tevatron data. Prospects at the LHC are reviewed.
We analyze the Tevatron and Large Hadron Collider (LHC) reach for the Higgs sector of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) in the presence of explicit CP-violation. Using the most recent studies from the Tevatron and LHC collaborations, we examine the CPX benchmark scenario for a range of CP-violating phases in the soft trilinear and gluino mass terms and compute the exclusion/discovery potentials for each collider on the $(M_{H^+}, \tanβ)$ plane. Projected results from Standard Model (SM)-like, non-standard, and charged Higgs searches are combined to maximize the statistical signi…
Recently Tevatron released their measurements on invariant mass spectrum of electron/positron, as well as the di-jet arising from WW+WZ production with one W leptonically decay. Though the statistics is not significant, there are two bumps around 240 GeV and 120-160 GeV respectively. We proposed that the two bumps correspond to the extra light gauge bosons $Z^\prime$ and $W^\prime$, which couple with quarks with the deci-weak strength. In this brief report, we also simulated di-jet invariant mass distribution at the current running LHC.
We examine the discovery potential for SUSY new physics at a p{\bar p} collider upgrade of Tevatron with \sqrt s = 5.4 TeV and luminosity L ~= 4\times 10^{32} cm^{-2}s^{-1} (the Tripler). We consider the reach for gluinos and squarks using the experimental signatures with large missing transverse energy (\met) of jets + \met and 1l + jets + \met (where l=electron or muon) within the framework of minimal supergravity. The Tripler's strongest reach for the gluino is 1060 GeV for the jets + \met channel and 1140 GeV for the 1l + jets + \met channel for 30 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity (approxi…
We study the discovery potential of the Tevatron for a Z-prime gauge boson. We introduce a parametrization of the Z-prime signal which provides a convenient bridge between collider searches and specific Z-prime models. The cross section for p pbar -> Z-prime X -> l^+ l^- X depends primarily on the Z-prime mass and the Z-prime decay branching fraction into leptons times the average square coupling to up and down quarks. If the quark and lepton masses are generated as in the standard model, then the Z-prime bosons accessible at the Tevatron must couple to fermions proportionally to a linear comb…
In this note we study the prospect of high-precision measurements of W boson mass, top quark mass, and forward-backward asymmetry in Z->ee decays and the search for the Higgs boson during Run 2 to challenge the standard model.
Naturalness bounds on weak scale supersymmetry in the context of radiative breaking of the electro-weak symmetry are analyzed. In the case of minimal supergravity it is found that for low tanβand for low values of fine tuning Phi, where Phi is defined essentially by the ratio μ^2/M_Z^2 where μis the Higgs mixing parameter and M_Z is the Z boson mass, the allowed values of the universal scalar parameter m_0, and the universal gaugino mass m_{1/2} lie on the surface of an ellipsoid with radii fixed by Φleading to tightly constrained upper bounds \sim \sqrtΦ.Thus for tanβ\leq 2(\leq 5) it is foun…
We study Higgs boson masses in supersymmetric models with an extra U(1) symmetry to be called U(1)$^{\prime}$. Such extra gauge symmetries are urged by the $μ$ problem of the MSSM, and they also arise frequently in low-energy supersymmetric models stemming from GUTs and strings. We analyze mass of the lightest Higgs boson and various other particle masses and couplings by taking into account the LEP bounds as well as the recent bounds from Tevatron experiments. We find that the $μ$-problem motivated generic low-energy U(1)$^{\prime}$ model yields Higgs masses as large as $\sim 200\ {\rm GeV}$ …
I shall review the present status of Tevatron QCD studies, focusing on the production of jets, vector bosons, photons and heavy quarks. In general there is good agreement between the results of current calculational tools and the experimental data. The major areas of discrepancy arise when the input parton distributions become uncertain (for example, jets at high $E_T$) or when the momentum scales become relatively small (for example, $b$ production at low $p_T$). We can look forward to continued improvement in both calculations and measurements over the next decade. However, fully exploiting …
We explore the discovery prospects for B'\bar{B}' pair production followed by direct decays B'->bX, where B' is a new quark and X is a long-lived neutral particle. We develop optimized cuts in the (m_B', m_X) plane and show that the 7 TeV LHC with an integrated luminosity of 1 (10) fb^-1 may exclude masses up to m_B' ~ 620 (800) GeV, completely covering the mass range allowed for new quarks that get mass from electroweak symmetry breaking. This analysis is applicable to other models with b\bar{b}+MET signals, including supersymmetric models with bottom squarks decaying directly to neutralinos,…
We analyze the prospects of the Tevatron for finding a Higgs boson in the two photon decay mode. We conclude that the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson will likely not be discovered in this mode. However, we motivate several theories beyond the SM, including the MSSM, that predict a Higgs boson with enhanced branching fractions into photons, and calculate the luminosity needed to discover a general Higgs boson at the Tevatron by a two-photon invariant mass peak at large transverse momentum. We find that a high luminosity Tevatron will play a significant role in discovering or constraining these …
The measurement of forward-backward asymmetry in the top and anti-top quark ($t \bar{t}$) production has been recently reconfirmed by the CDF Collaboration and shows a more than $3σ$ deviation from the Standard Model(SM) prediction in the large $t \bar{t}$ invariant mass region. Models with new W$^{\prime}$ or Z$^{\prime}$ bosons have been invoked to explain this deviation. In the context of these models we perform a $χ^2$ analysis with all the available experimental numbers in different $ΔY$ and $M_{t \bar{t}}$ bins. We show that for the $Z^{\prime}$ model the region of parameter space which …
We discuss if the Tevatron ttbar asymmetry can be explained by T-channel exchange of a W' gauge boson coupling to down and top quarks. In a spontaneously broken gauge theory, such a W' is necessarily accompanied by a Z' at a similar mass scale. Null results from Tevatron searches for dijet and dilepton resonances imply large mass splitting between the $W'$ and $Z'$. We argue that such splitting can only be accomplished if the gauge symmetry is broken by a scalar in a large dimension representation of the gauge group, for which no perturbative description exists.
We discuss the decays of the lightest scalar top quark $\tilde{t}_1$ in the Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model and show that the final state $bτν_τχ_1^0$, where $χ_1^0$ is the lightest supersymmetric particle, can be dominant in a significant area of the parameter space, in particular in the high $\tan β$ regime. We then analyze the prospects for discovering relatively light scalar top quarks accessible at the Tevatron Run II in the $bτ$ and missing energy channel.
The Higgs boson search has shifted from LEP2 to the Tevatron and will subsequently move to the LHC. The current limits from the Tevatron and the prospective sensitivities at the LHC are often interpreted in specific MSSM scenarios. For heavy Higgs boson production and subsequent decay into b \bar b or tau^+ tau^-, the present Tevatron data allow to set limits in the M_A-tan_beta plane for small M_A and large tan_beta values. Similar channels have been explored for the LHC, where the discovery reach extends to higher values of M_A and smaller tan_beta. Searches for MSSM charged Higgs bosons, pr…
We consider the top forward-backward (FB) asymmetry at the Tevatron and top charge asymmetry at the LHC within chiral U(1)^\prime models with flavor-dependent U(1)^\prime charges and flavored Higgs fields, which were introduced in the ref. [65]. The models could enhance not only the top forward-backward asymmetry at Tevatron, but also the top charge asymmetry at LHC, without too large same-sign top pair production rates. We identify parameter spaces for the U(1)^\prime gauge boson and (pseudo)scalar Higgs bosons where all the experimental data could be accommodated, including the case with abo…
After a five year upgrade period, the CDF detector located at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider is back in operation taking high quality data with all subsystems functional. We report on the status of the CDF experiment in Run II and discuss the start-up of the Tevatron accelerator. First physics results from CDF are presented. We also discuss the prospects for B physics in Run II, in particular the measurements of Bs flavour oscillations and CP violation in B decays.
We analyze the prospect for observing the intermediate neutral Higgs ($h_2$) boson in its decay to two lighter Higgs bosons ($h_1$) at the Tevatron in the framework of the CP violating MSSM using the PYTHIA event generator. We consider the lepton+ 4-jets+ $\met$ channel from $p \bar p \ra W h_2 \ra W h_1 h_1 \ra l ν_l b \bar b b\bar b$, with two or three tagged $b$ jets. We found that it is very hard to observe this signature in the LEP-allowed region of parameter space, due to the small signal efficiency.
We give an assessment of the three approaches, undertaken by the D$\emptyset$ experiment, to probe CP violation in $B_s$ mixing without measurement of $B_s$-$\bar B_s$ oscillations or tagging: dimuon charge asymmetry $A_{SL}$, untagged single muon charge asymmetry $A_{SL}^s$, and lifetime difference in untagged $B_s \to J/ψϕ$ decay. The latter two approaches provide an alternative avenue, if not crosscheck, to the usual mixing-decay interference study in modes such as $B_s \to J/ψϕ$. Prospects at the Tevatron, LHC and (Super) B factories are discussed.
The forward-backward asymmetry for top quarks measured in proton-antiproton collisions at the Tevatron shows an interesting deviation from standard model expectations. Among possible interpretations, the exchange of a non-universal, flavor-changing $Z^\prime$ is of some interest as it naturally predicts a top quark in the forward region of rapidity. To reproduce the size of the Tevatron asymmetry, the couplings of the $Z^\prime$ to standard model quarks must be large, inevitably leading to production of same-sign top quark pairs at the Tevatron and at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We discus…
Fermiophobic Higgs bosons $h_f$ exhibiting large branching ratios to two photons can arise in models with two or more scalar doublets and/or triplets. In such models the conventional production mechanisms at hadron colliders may be rendered ineffective due to severe mixing angle suppression. In this scenario, double fermiophobic Higgs production may proceed via complementary mechanisms leading to events with up to 4 photons. We perform a simulation of the detection prospects of $h_f$ in the multi-photon (>3) channel at the Fermilab Tevatron and show that a sizeable region of the ($m_{H^\pm},m_…
Fermilab operates the world's most intense antiproton source. Newly proposed experiments can use those antiprotons either parasitically during Tevatron Collider running or after the end of the Tevatron Collider program. For example, the annihilation of 5 to 8 GeV antiprotons is expected to yield world-leading sensitivities to hyperon rare decays and CP violation. It could also provide the world's most intense source of tagged D^0 mesons, and thus the best near-term opportunity to study charm mixing and, via CP violation, to search for new physics. Other measurements that could be made include …
In this article, we explore the interplay between searches for supersymmetric particles and Higgs bosons at hadron colliders (the Tevatron and the LHC) and direct dark matter searches (such as CDMS, ZEPLIN, XENON, EDELWEISS, CRESST, WARP and others). We focus on collider searches for heavy MSSM Higgs bosons ($A$, $H$, $H^{\pm}$) and how the prospects for these searches are impacted by direct dark matter limits and vice versa. We find that the prospects of these two experimental programs are highly interrelated. A positive detection of $A$, $H$ or $H^{\pm}$ at the Tevatron would dramatically en…
Fermilab has long had the world's most intense antiproton source. Despite this, opportunities for low-energy antiproton physics at Fermilab have in the past been limited and--with the antiproton source now exclusively dedicated to serving the needs of the Tevatron Collider--are currently nonexistent. While the future of antiproton physics at Fermilab is uncertain, the anticipated shutdown of the Tevatron in about 2009 presents the opportunity for a world-leading low-energy antiproton program. We summarize the current status of the Fermilab antiproton facility and review some current topics in …
Hadron colliders are providing a unique opportunity for testing Lorentz invariance and CPT symmetry at high energy and in a laboratory. A first measurement in the top-quark sector was performed at the Tevatron. We present here prospective studies for testing Lorentz invariance in top-quark pair production at the LHC and future colliders. The b-quark sector was investigated recently at LHCb. Eventually, new bounds on photon parameters can be extracted from the observation of TeV photons at the LHC. We will conclude by highlighting other opportunities provided by hadron colliders.
This paper investigates a signature of Lorentz invariance violation with the $t\bar{t}$ production at the LHC and future hadron colliders. Possible deviations from the Lorentz symmetry remain poorly constrained in the top quark sector. With a dedicated analysis of $t\bar{t}$ events produced at the LHC, bounds in the top sector can be improved by up to three orders of magnitude relative to Tevatron, the only measurement existing so far. The sensitivity will be even further enhanced at the HL-LHC and future colliders.
Constraints on the non-standard top-gluon couplings composed of the chromomagnetic- and chromoelectric-dipole moments of the top quark are updated by combining the latest data of top-pair productions from the Tevatron, 7-TeV LHC, and 8-TeV LHC. We find that adding the recent 8-TeV data to the analysis is effective to get a stronger constraint on the chromoelectric-dipole moment than the one from the Tevatron and 7-TeV LHC alone. We also discuss how those constraints on the non-standard couplings could be further improved when 14-TeV LHC results become available in the near future.
The apparent tensions emerging from the comparison of experimental data of the anomalous magnetic moments of the muon and electron to the Standard Model predictions ($Δa_{μ,e}$) could be interpreted as a potential signal of New Physics. Models encompassing a light vector boson have been known to offer a satisfactory explanation to $Δa_μ$, albeit subject to stringent experimental constraints. Here we explore a minimal extension of the Standard Model via a leptophilic vector boson $Z^\prime$, under the hypothesis of strictly flavour-violating couplings of the latter to leptons. The most constrai…
We report on the B physics prospects from the Fermilab Tevatron, summarizing the B physics goals of the CDF and DO experiments using their upgraded detectors. We discuss the time schedule for completion of the detector upgrades and summarize the current measurement of the CP violation parameter sin(2 beta) at CDF.
The prospects for detecting trilepton events ($\ell = e$ or $μ$) from chargino-neutralino ($χ^\pm_1 χ^0_2$) associated production are investigated for the upgraded Fermilab Tevatron Collider in the context of the minimal supergravity model (mSUGRA). In some regions of parameter space, $χ^\pm_1$ and $χ^0_2$ decay dominantly into final states with $τ$ leptons and the contributions from $τ-$leptonic decays enhance the trilepton signal substantially when soft cuts on lepton transverse momenta are used. Additional sources of the mSUGRA trilepton signal and dominant irreducible backgrounds are discu…
We consider the recent measurement of the top quark forward-backward asymmetry at the Fermilab Tevatron, which shows a discrepancy of slightly more than 2$σ$ compared to the SM prediction. We find that $t$-channel exchange of a color sextet or triplet scalar particle can explain the measurement, while leaving the cross section for $t \bar{t}$ production within measured uncertainties. Such particles have good discovery prospects by study of the kinematic structure of $t \bar{t}$+jets at the LHC.
The top quark forward-backward asymmetry measured at the Fermilab Tevatron collider deviates from the standard model prediction. A W^prime boson model is described, where the coupling W^prime-t-d is fixed by the tt_bar forward-backward asymmetry and total cross section at the Tevatron. We show that such a W^prime boson would be produced in association with a top quark at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), thus inducing additional tt_bar+j events. We use measurements of tt_bar+n-jet production from the LHC to constrain the allowed W^prime-t-d couplings as a function of W^prime boson mass. We…
We present an update of the theoretical predictions for the cross section of top-quark pair production at Tevatron and LHC. In particular we employ improvements due to soft gluon resummation at next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. We expand the resummed results and derive analytical finite-order cross sections through next-to-next-to-leading order which are exact in all logarithmically enhanced terms near threshold. These results are the best present estimates for the top-quark pair production cross section. We investigate the scale dependence as well as the sensitivity on the parton …
In this decade, there are huge efforts to explore B-meson decays, which offer interesting probes to test the quark-flavour structure of the Standard Model and to search for signals of new physics. Exciting new perspectives for these studies will soon arise at the LHC, where decays of $B^0_s$ mesons will be a key target of the B-physics programme. We will discuss theoretical aspects of various benchmark channels and address the question of how much space for new-physics effects in their observables is left by the recent experimental results from the B factories and the Tevatron.
We adopt a Markov Chain Monte Carlo method to examine various new physics models which can generate the forward-backward asymmetry in top quark pair production observed at the Tevatron by the CDF Collaboration. We study the following new physics models: (1) exotic gluon $G^\prime$, (2) extra $Z^\prime$ boson with flavor-conserving interaction, (3) extra $Z^\prime$ with flavor-violating $u$-$t$-$Z^\prime$ interaction, (4) extra $W^\prime$ with flavor-violating $d$-$t$-$W^\prime$ interaction, and (5) extra scalars $S$ and $S^\pm$ with flavor-violating $u$-$t$-$S$ and $d$-$t$-$S^\pm$ interactions…
We discuss the possibilities of assessing a non-zero $C_{7γ}^\prime$ from the direct and the indirect measurements of the photon polarization in the exclusive $b \to sγ^{(*)}$ decays. We focus on three methods and explore the following three decay modes: $B \to K^*(\to K_Sπ^0)γ$, $B \to K_1(\to Kππ)γ$, and $B \to K^*(\to Kπ)\ell^+\ell^-$. By studying different New Physics scenarios we show that the future measurement of conveniently defined observables in these decays could provide us with the full determination of $C_{7γ}$ and $C_{7γ}^\prime$.
We study the potential of hadron colliders in the search for the pair production of neutral Higgs bosons in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We perform a detailed signal and background analysis, working out efficient kinematical cuts for the extraction of the signal. The important role of squark loop contributions to the signal is re--emphasized. If the signal is sufficiently enhanced by these contributions, it could even be observable at the next run of the upgraded Tevatron collider in the near future. At the LHC the pair production of light and heavy Higgs bosons …

We examine the prospects for extending the Tevatron reach for a Standard Model Higgs boson by including the semileptonic Higgs boson decays h --> WW --> l nu jj for M_h >~ 2 M_W, and h --> W jj --> l nu jj for M_h <~ 2 M_W, where j is a hadronic jet. We employ a realistic simulation of the signal and backgrounds using the Sherpa Monte Carlo event generator. We find kinematic selections that enhance the signal over the dominant W+jets background. The resulting sensitivity could be an important addition to ongoing searches, especially in the mass range 120 <~ M_h <~ 150 GeV. The techniques descr…
Searches for supersymmetry are among the most exciting physics goals at Run II of the Tevatron. In particular, in supersymmetric models with light charginos, neutralinos and sleptons, associated chargino--neutralino production can potentially be observed as multi-lepton events with missing energy. We discuss how, in the generic TeV-scale MSSM, the prospects for these chargino-neutralino searches are impacted by cosmological considerations, namely the neutralino relic abundance and direct detection limits. We also discuss what an observation of chargino-neutralino production at the Tevatron wou…
In the framework of the extended $SU(2)_{h}\times SU(2)_{l}$ model we study the radiative decay of an extra gauge boson $Z^{\prime}$, $Z^{\prime}\toγZ$. The data analysis results of the CDF collaboration at the Fermilab Tevatron allow one to establish not only the lower bound of the decay probability $Z^{\prime}\toγZ$ normalized to Drell-Yan process $Z^{\prime}\to μ^{+}μ^{-}$, $R(Z^{\prime}\toγZ/μ^{+}μ^{-})> 1.4\times 10^{-5}\cot^{2}ϕ$, but also to estimate the mixing angle $ξ$ between the states $Z^{\prime}$ and $Z$, $|ξ| < 5\times 10^{-2}$, taking into account the additional mixing angle $ϕ$…
