We study the DVCS amplitude within the color dipole approach. The light-cone wave function of a real photon is evaluated in the instanton vacuum model. Our parameter free calculations are able to describe H1 data, both the absolute values and the $t$-dependences, at medium-high values of $Q^{2}$. The $Q^{2}$ dependence is found to be sensitive to the choice of the phenomenological cross section fitted to DIS data.
In this contribution, we present a study of the coherent and incoherent nuclear DVCS process in the small-$x$ regime within the color dipole formalism. Predictions for the nuclear DVCS cross section at photon level in the collider kinematics are presented.
In this work we estimate the differential cross section for the high energy deeply virtual Compton scattering on a photon target within the QCD dipole-dipole scattering formalism. For the phenomenology, a saturation model for the dipole-dipole cross section for two photon scattering is considered. Its robustness is supported by good description of current accelerator data. In addition, we consider the related exclusive vector meson production processes. This analysis is focused on the light $ρ$ and $ϕ$ meson production, which produce larger cross sections. The phenomenological results are comp…
We study nonperturbative pair production in intense, focused laser fields called e-dipole pulses. We address the conditions required, such as the quality of the vacuum, for reaching high intensities without initiating beam-depleting cascades, the number of pairs which can be created, and experimental detection of the created pairs. We find that e-dipole pulses offer an optimal method of investigating nonperturbative QED.
The photon -- induced interactions, present in $ep$, $eA$, $pp$, $pA$, $AA$ and $e^+ e^-$ collisions, are expressed within the color dipole approach in terms of the photon wave function, which describes the transition of the photon into a quark -- antiquark color dipole. Such quantity is usually calculated using perturbation theory assuming that long distance corrections associated to strong interactions can be neglected. In this paper we investigate the impact of these nonperturbative QCD (npQCD) corrections to the description of the photon wave function for dipoles of large size in several o…
We determine the large-distance behaviour of the static dipole-dipole potential for a wide class of gauge theories on nonperturbative grounds, exploiting only general properties of the theory. In the case of QCD, we recover the known results in the regime of small dipole sizes, and discuss recent nonperturbative calculations. Moreover, we discuss the case of pure-gauge theories, and compare our prediction with the available lattice results.
The Impact-Parameter dependent Color Glass Condensate (b-CGC) dipole model is based on the Balitsky-Kovchegov non-linear evolution equation and improves the Iancu-Itakura-Munier dipole model by incorporating the impact-parameter dependence of the saturation scale. Here we confront the model to the recently released high precision combined HERA data and obtain its parameters. The b-CGC results are then compared to data at small-x for the structure function, the longitudinal structure function, the charm structure function, exclusive vector meson (J/ψ, ϕ, ρ) production and Deeply Virtual Compton…
The light-cone distribution amplitudes for the axial current are derived within the instanton vacuum model (IVM), which incorporates nonperturbative effects including spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking. This allows to extend applicability of the dipole approach, usually used in the perturbative domain, down to $Q^{2}\to0$, where partially conserved axial current (PCAC) imposes a relation between the neutrino-production cross section and the one induced by pions. A dramatic breakdown of the Adler relation (AR) for diffractive neutrino-production of pions, caused by absorptive corrections, was…
In this paper, we calculate the QCD nonperturbative contributions of the neutrino-quark tensor operators to the neutrino magnetic moments by matching onto the chiral perturbation theory at low energies. These nonperturbative contributions can be compared to the perturbative ones, which are induced from one-loop mixing when performing the renormalization group evolutions from $μ=m_W$ down to $μ=2~\mathrm{GeV}$. We then constrain the dipole and tensor Wilson coefficients of the low-energy neutrino effective field theory (LNEFT) separately from the neutrino-electron scattering with Borexino data …
The Impact-Parameter dependent Saturation Model (IP-Sat) is a simple dipole model that incorporates key features of the physics of gluon saturation and matches smoothly to the perturbative QCD dipole expression at large Q^2 for a given x. It was previously shown that the model gives a good description of HERA data suggesting evidence for gluon saturation effects at small x. The model has also been applied to proton-proton and proton-nucleus collisions and provides the basis for the IP-Glasma model of initial conditions in heavy ion collisions. Here we present a reanalysis of available data in …

We perform the first dipole picture fit to HERA inclusive cross section data using the full next-to-leading order (NLO) impact factor combined with an improved Balitsky-Kovchegov evolution including the dominant effects beyond leading logarithmic accuracy at low $x$. We find that three different formulations of the evolution equation that have been proposed in the recent literature result in a very similar description of HERA data, and robust predictions for future deep inelastic scattering experiments. We find evidence pointing towards a significant nonperturbative contribution to the structu…
