When the bilocal heavy-quark effective theory (HQET) operator for the B-meson distribution amplitude has a light-like distance t between the quark and antiquark fields, the scale \sim 1/t separates the UV and IR regions, which induce the cusp singularity in radiative corrections and the mixing of multiparticle states in nonperturbative corrections, respectively. We treat these notorious UV and IR behaviors simultaneously using the operator product expansion, with the local operators of dimension $d \le 5$ and radiative corrections at order α_s for the corresponding Wilson coefficients. The result is derived in the coordinate space, which manifests the Wilson coefficients with Sudakov-type double logarithms and the higher-dimensional operators with additional gluons. This result yields the B-meson distribution amplitude for t less than \sim 1 GeV^{-1}, in terms of $\barΛ=m_B - m_b$ and the two additional HQET parameters as matrix elements of dimension-5 operators. The impact of these novel HQET parameters on the integral relevant to exclusive B decays, λ_B, is also discussed.
We focus on the chiral and heavy quark mass expansion of mesons masses and decay constants. We propose a light-front QCD formalism for the evaluation of these quantities, consistent with chiral perturbation theory and heavy quark effective theory.
We studied $F$-wave bottom mesons in heavy quark effective theory. The available experimental and theoretical data is used to calculate the masses of $F$-wave bottom mesons. The decay widths of bottom mesons are analyzed to find upper bounds of the associated couplings. We also construct Regge trajectories for our predicted data in planes ($J$, $M^2$ ) and our results nicely fit on Regge lines. Our results may provide a crucial information for upcoming experimental studies.
The light-cone distribution amplitude (LCDA) of a heavy-light meson defined in heavy quark effective theory (HQET), is a fundamental nonperturbative input to account for innumerable $B$ meson exclusive decay and production processes. On the other hand, the conventional heavy-flavored meson LCDA defined in QCD, also ubiquitously enters the factorization formula for hard exclusive $B$ production processes. Inspired by the observation that these two LCDAs exhibit the identical infrared behaviors, yet differ in the ultraviolet scale of order $m_b$ or greater, we propose a novel factorization theor…
We present a systematic study of higher-twist distribution amplitudes (DAs) of the B-meson which give rise to power-suppressed $1/m_B$ contributions to B-decays in final states with energetic light particles in the framework of QCD factorization. As the main result, we find that the renormalization group equations for the three-particle distributions are completely integrable in the large $N_c$ limit and can be solved exactly. General properties of the solutions are studied. We propose simple models for higher-twist DAs which satify all existing constraints and can be used in phenomenological …

Analogous to NRQCD factorization for heavy quarkonium exclusive production, in this work we propose to employ the heavy-quark-effective-theory (HQET) factorization, which has been predominantly applied to account for exclusive $B$ decays, to study the exclusive production of the heavy-flavored mesons. We take $W\to B(D_s)+γ$ as a prototype process. The validity of the HQET factorization rests upon the presumed scale hierarchy: $m_W\sim m_b\gg Λ_{\rm QCD}$. Through an explicit analysis at next-to-leading order in $α_s$ yet at leading order in $1/m_b$, we verify that the decay form factors can i…
Coefficient functions of the operator product expansion of correlators of HQET heavy--light quark currents are calculated up operators of dimension 4 up to to 3 loops.
Recently LHCb predicted spin 1 and spin 3 states D* s1(2860) and D* s3(2860) which are studied through their strong decays, and are assigned to fit the 13D1and 13D3 states in the charm spectroscopy. In this paper, using the heavy quark effective theory, we state that assigning D*s1(2860) as the mixing of 13D1 - 23S1 states, is rather a better justification to its observed experimental values than a pure state. We study its decay modes variation with hadronic coupling constant gxh and the mixing angle . We appoint spin 3 state D* s3(2860) as the missing 1D 3- JP state, and also study its decay c…
We present a study of the B spectrum performed in the framework of Heavy Quark Effective Theory expanded to next-to-leading order in 1/m and non-perturbative in the strong coupling. Our analyses have been performed on Nf=2 lattice gauge field ensembles corresponding to three different lattice spacings and a wide range of pion masses. We obtain the Bs-meson mass and hyperfine splittings of the B- and Bs-mesons that are in good agreement with the experimental values and examine the mass difference m_{Bs}-m_B as a further cross-check of our previous estimate of the b-quark mass. We also report on…
We use a Hilbert series to construct an operator basis in the $1/m$ expansion of a theory with a nonrelativistic heavy fermion in an electromagnetic (NRQED) or color gauge field (NRQCD/HQET). We present a list of effective operators with mass dimension $d\leq 8$. Comparing to the current literature, our results for NRQED agree for $d\leq 8$, but there are some discrepancies in NRQCD/HQET at $d=7$ and 8.
We generalize the celebrated heavy quark expansion to nonlocal QCD operators. By taking nonlocal heavy-light current on the light-cone as an example, we confirm that the collinear singularities are common between QCD operator and the corresponding operator in heavy quark effective theory (HQET), at the leading power of $1/M$ expansion. Based on a perturbative calculation in operator form at one-loop level, a factorization formula linking QCD and HQET operators is investigated and the matching coefficient is determined. The matching between QCD and HQET light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs…
Differential equations for the one-loop HQET vertex diagram with arbitrary self-energy insertions and arbitrary residual energies are reduced to the $\varepsilon$ form and used to obtain the $\varepsilon$ expansion in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms.
In the heavy quark expansion (HQE) of the total decay rates of $B_s$ and $D_s^+$ mesons non-perturbative matrix elements of four quark operators are arising as phase space enhanced contributions. We present the first determination of $m_s$ effects to the dimension six matrix elements of these four quark operators via a heavy quark effective theory (HQET) sum rule analysis. In addition we calculate for the first time eye contractions of the four quark operators as well as matrix elements of penguin operators. For the perturbative part we solve the 3-loop contribution to the sum rule and we eval…
We investigate the structure of the $D_{1}^0(2420[2430]) (J^P=1^+)$ mesons via analyzing the semileptonic $B_{c}\to D_{1}^0 lν$ transition in the frame work of the three--point QCD sum rules and the heavy quark effective theory. We consider the $D_{1}^0$ meson in three ways; the pure $|c\bar{u}\rangle$ state, a mixture of two $|^3P_1\rangle$ and $|^1P_1\rangle$ states with a mixing angle $θ$ and a combination of two mentioned states with mixing angle $θ=35.3^\circ$ in the heavy quark limit. Taking into account the gluon condensate contributions, the relevant form factors are obtained for the t…
然后,我们推导出两个回路的精度:$\bl=(0.65\pm 0.05)$ GeV,$K=-(0.5 \pm 0.2)$ GeV^2 $, implying the value of the pole mass in HQET: $ M_b=(4.61 \pm 0.05)$ GeV. By combining the results from the sum rules in HQET and in the full theory, we obtain $ f_B^ \infty =(1.98 \pm 0.31)f_π $ and the quadratic mass dependence of the pseudoscalar decay constant: $ f_P \sqrt{M_P} =(0.33 PDMATHAMT 0.06)PDMATHAMY ^{3/2} \als^{1/β_1} 2} \als^ {1/β_1 1-2 β @ MATHABNB/3π-1.1/M_Q +0…
