The next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections are calculated for the pair-annihilation of spin-1 dark matter (DM) by dimensionally regularizing both ultraviolet and infrared singularities in non-relativistic limit (v<<1). The complete O(alphas) correction is about 8% due to the massless gluon contribution. An extra 5% will be added if there is a new interaction from a massive gluon of approximately same mass as the DM particle. The NLO QCD correction could give the sizable shift to the DM mass constrained by relic density measurements.
In co-annihilation scenarios, the weakly interacting dark matter particle (WIMP) is close in mass to another particle that can decay into the WIMP. As a result, both particles freeze out at roughly the same time in the early universe, and both contribute to the effective dark matter annihilation cross-section. Since the heavier particle does not need to be weakly interacting, the co-annihilation processes are in general subject to sizeable radiative corrections. Here this is analyzed for the example of neutralino-stop co-annihilation in supersymmetry. The leading QCD corrections are calculated…
We report on a recent work proposing measurements of the deeply virtual Compton amplitude (DVCS) $γ^* \to h \bar h γ$ in the timelike kinematic domain which is accessible at electron-positron colliders via the radiative annihilation process $e^+ e^- \to h \bar h γ$.
Being able to safely distinguish astrophysical from potential dark matter (DM) annihilation signals is of utmost importance for indirect DM searches. To this end, one has to rely on distinctive -- and unique -- spectral signatures to look for. Internal bremsstrahlung (IB), unavoidable in the presence of charged annihilation products, provides such a signature. In fact, as it generically dominates the gamma-ray spectrum expected from DM annihilations, at high energies, it may well turn out to be more important for indirect DM searches than the traditionally looked-for line signals. As illustrat…
The status of precision calculations for the processes e+e- --> WW --> 4 fermions is reviewed, paying particular attention to questions of gauge invariance and recent progress concerning photonic radiative corrections.
The annihilation of proton and antiproton to electron-positron pair, including radiative corrections due to the emission of virtual and real photons is considered. The results are generalized to leading and next-to leading approximations. The relevant distributions are derived and numerical applications are given in the kinematical range accessible to the PANDA experiment at the FAIR facility.
Process of muon (pion) pair production with small invariant mass in the electron-positron high-energy annihilation, accompanied by emission of hard photon at large angles, is considered. We find that the Dell-Yan picture for differential cross section is valid in the charge-even experimental set-up. Radiative corrections both for electron block and for final state block are taken into account.
Pure leptonic radiative decays of heavy-light mesons are calculated using a very simple non-relativistic model. Dominant contribution originates from photon emission from light initial quark. We find $BR(B^\pm\to\ellνγ)\sim3.5\times10^{-6}$ and $BR(D_s\to \ellνγ)\sim1.7 \times10^{-4}$. The importance of these reactions to clarify the dynamics of the annihilation graph is emphasized.
We give predictions for the branching ratios of several rare radiative B-decays which proceed only through weak annihilation mechanism. In addition to previous analysis we estimate the branching ratios of $\bar{B}^0_s\to D^{*0}γ$ and $B_c^-\toρ^-γ$ decays and obtain $2.87\cdot 10^{-9}$ and $2.59\cdot 10^{-7}$ for them correspondingly. The accuracy of the predictions is at the level of 20\%.
We discuss techniques for obtaining a numerically-stable evaluation of the fully differential cross section for the virtual photon correction to single hard photon bremsstrahlung in two different computational schemes. We also compare the role of finite mass corrections in these schemes.
The process of the muon (pion) pair production with small invariant mass in the electron--positron high--energy annihilation, accompanied by emission of hard photon at large angles, is considered. We find that the Drell--Yan picture for differential cross section is valid in the charge--even experimental set--up. Radiative corrections both for electron block and for final state block are taken into account.
The Monte Carlo event generator PHOKHARA, which simulates hadron and muon production at electron-positron colliders through radiative return, has been extended to final states with three pions. A model for the form factor based on generalized vector dominance has been employed, which is consistent with presently available experimental observations.
In this talk, we present the predictions for a number of radiative decays $B_{(s)}\to Vγ$, with the vector meson in the final state, which proceed through the weak-annihilation mechanism. Within the factorization approximation, we take into account the photon emission from the $B$-meson loop and from the vector-meson loop. The highest branching ratios for the weak-annihilation reactions reported here are ${\cal B}(\bar B^0_s\to J/ψγ)=1.5\cdot 10^{-7}$ and ${\cal B}(B^-\to \bar D_s^{*-}γ)=1.7\cdot 10^{-7}$, the estimated accuracy of these predictions being at the level of 20%.
Recently the problem of singular galactic cores and over-abundant formation of dwarf galaxies, inherent to the standard cold dark matter model, had attracted a great deal of attention. One scenario which may be free of these problems invokes a self-interacting Bose-field. We find the limiting core density in this model due to the self-annihilation of the scalar field into its own relativistic quanta. The limiting density may correspond to the observable one if there is only one dark matter component. Alternatively, there may be more than one dark matter species and the annihilation of one spec…
We calculate the radiative corrections to the annihilation of the Dark Matter particles into leptons. Lepton masses are taken into account. As the Dark Matter particles are considered both Dirac and Majorana fermions. We sum up all the leading logarithms contributions where it is possible. We show that in the Dirac fermion case the resulting cross-section is consistent with the renormalization group prediction: the cross-section have the Drell-Yan form. Whereas, in the Majorana fermions case we have two essentially different limits of the resulting cross-section and quantitively the answer str…
The ampitude of the $B\toργ$ decay induced by the flavour-changing neutral currents contains the penguin contribution and the weak-annihilation contribution generated by the 4-quark operators in the effective Hamiltonian. The penguin contribution is known quite well. We analyse the weak-annihilation which is suppressed by the heavy-quark mass compared to the penguin contribution. In the factorization approximation, the weak annihilation amplitude is represented in terms of the leptonic decay constants and the meson-photon matrix elements of the weak currents. The latter contain the $Bγ$, $ργ$ …
We present the contributions from all types of one-loop corrections to the scattering amplitude for the pair production of polarized charginos or neutralinos from polarized electron-positron annihilation. The contributions are classified in terms of ``prototypes'' distinguished by the number of particles inside the loops and their spins. The results are quoted in terms of the Veltman-Passarino functions in terms of general couplings and internal masses. The results can therefore be applied to any supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model or indeed to any polarized fermion pair production …
Complete one-loop electroweak radiative corrections to the cross section of the process $e^+e^- \to μ^-μ^+ (τ^-τ^+)$ are evaluated with the help of the \SANC system. Higher-order contributions of the initial state radiation are computed in the QED structure function formalism. Numerical results are given for the center-of-mass energy range $\sqrt{s}=5, ~7$~GeV for various polarization degrees of the initial particles.
Baryon interactions with bosonic dark matter are constrained by the potential for dark matter-rich neutron stars to collapse into black holes. We consider the effect of dark matter self-interactions and dark matter annihilation on these bounds, and treat the evolution of the black hole after formation. We show that, for non-annihilating dark matter, these bounds extend up to $m_X \sim 10^{5-7}$ GeV, depending on the strength of self-interactions. However, these bounds are completely unconstraining for annihilating bosonic dark matter with an annihilation cross-section of $<σ_a v> \gtrsim 10^{-…
The lowest order radiative correction to the differential cross-section of process of muon pair production with emission of hard photon at high energy electron-positron annihilation are calculated. Taking into account the emission of additional soft and hard photon the cross-section can be put in the form of Drell-Yan process in leading logarithmical approximation. Applying the crossing transformation we obtain the cross section of radiative electron-muon high-energy scattering process. Virtual and soft photon emission contributions of non-leading form are tabulated for several typical kinemat…
We propose a Two-Loop induced radiative neutrino model with hidden gauged $U(1)$ symmetry, in which a dark matter of Dirac fermion arises. The relic density gets contribution from annihilation and semi-annihilation due to a residual $\mathbb{Z}_3$ parity. After imposing the requirement of neutrino oscillation data and lepton flavour violation bounds, we find out that the semi-annihilation plays a crucial role in order to satisfy the relic density constraint $0.117 < Ωh^2 < 0.123$, by proceeding near either one of two deconstructive scalar resonances. Our numerical analysis demonstrates the all…
We investigate a Z3 symmetric model with two-loop radiative neutrino masses. Dark matter in the model is either a Dirac fermion or a complex scalar as a result of an unbroken Z3 symmetry. In addition to standard annihilation processes, semi-annihilation of the dark matter contributes to the relic density. We study the effect of the semi-annihilation in the model and and that those contributions are important to obtain the observed relic density. The experimental signatures in dark matter searches are also discussed, where some of them are expected to be different from the signatures of dark ma…
We discuss a little-studied class of weak decay modes sensitive to only one quark topology at leading order in G_F: M --> m gamma, where M,m are mesons with completely distinct flavor quantum numbers. Specifically, they proceed via the annihilation of the valence quarks through a W and the emission of a single hard photon, and thus provide a clear separation between CKM and strong interaction physics. We survey relevant calculations performed to date, discuss experimental discovery potential, and indicate interesting future directions.
Evaluating the relic density of dark matter is an interesting possibility to constrain the parameter space of new physics models. However, this calculation is affected by several sources of uncertainty. On the particle physics side, considerable progress has been made in the recent years concerning the calculation of the annihilation cross-section of dark matter, which is needed in this context. In particular, within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, the theoretical uncertainty has been reduced through the calculation of loop corrections. The present contribution gives an overview ove…
We obtain predictions for a number of radiative decays $B_{(s)}\to Vγ$, $V$ the vector meson, which proceed through the weak-annihilation mechanism. Within the factorization approximation, we take into account the photon emission from the $B$-meson loop and from the vector-meson loop; the latter subprocesses were not considered in the previous analyses but are found to have sizeable impact on the $B_{(s)}\to Vγ$ decay rate. The highest branching ratios for the weak-annihilation reactions reported here are ${\cal B}(\bar B^0_s\to J/ψγ)=1.5\cdot 10^{-7}$ and ${\cal B}(B^-\to \bar D_s^{*-}γ)=1.7\…
A class of meson decay modes sensitive to only one quark topology at leading G_F order (annihilation of valence quarks through a W) is described. No experimental observations, nor even upper limits, have been reported for these decays. This work presents a simpleminded (order-of-magnitude) calculation of their branching fractions, and compares to results of previous calculations where available. Although rare, one of these modes (D_s^+ --> rho^+ gamma) might already be observable at charm experiments, two others (D^+ --> K^{*+} gamma, B^+ --> D_s^{*+} gamma) should appear at the B factories, a…
Radiative corrections to the annihilation of proton--antiproton into electron--positron are revisited, including virtual and real (soft and hard) photon emission. This issue is relevant for the time-like form factors measurements planned at the PANDA experiment at the FAIR facility, in next future. The relevant formulas are given. A stand-alone Monte-Carlo integrator is developed on the basis of the calculated radiative cross section and its application to the PANDA experiment is illustrated.
Inclusion of the QED higher order radiative corrections in the two-photon process, e+e- -> e+e- mu+mu-, is examined by means of the structure function and the parton shower. Results are compared with the exact $O(α)$ calculations and give a good agreement. These two methods should be universally applicable to any other non-annihilation processes like the single-W productions in the e+e- collisions. In this case, however, the energy scale for the evolution by the renormalization-group equation should be chosen properly depending on the dominant diagrams for the given process. A method to find t…
We compare fully differential exact results for the virtual photon correction to single hard photon bremsstrahlung obtained using independent calculations, both for electron-positron annihilation at high-energy colliders and for radiative return applications. The results are compared using Monte Carlo evaluations of the matrix elements as well as by direct analytical evaluation of certain critical limits. Special attention is given to the issues of numerical stability and the treatment of finite-mass corrections. It is found that agreement on the order of 10^{-5} or better is obtained over mos…
Hadronic annihilation rate of $1^{+-}$ heavy quarkonium is given to next-to-leading order in $α_s$ and leading order in $v^2$ using a recently developed factorization formalism which is based on NRQCD. The result includes both the annihilation of P-wave color-singlet $Q\bar{Q}$ component, and the annihilation of S-wave color-octet $Q\bar{Q}$ component of the quarkonium. The notorious infrared divergences due to soft gluons, i.e., the Logarithms associated with the binding energy, encountered in previous perturbative calculations of $1^{+-}$ quarkonium decays are found to be explicitly cancelle…
The generator QEDPS, a parton shower model in QED, developed by the present authors has been improved. By a careful study on the shower algorithm it was found that some finite contributions have been missed in the original version. They are small, but cannot be neglected when the contribution of the soft photons is dominant. A method is presented to correct these finite pieces and then a new generator, improved QEDPS, is proposed, which is able to make more precise prediction for the processes observed in e+e- annihilation as far as the initial radiation is concerned.
The lighter top squark in supersymmetry can live long enough to form hadronic bound states if it has no kinematically allowed two-body decays that conserve flavor. In this case, scalar stoponium may be observable through its diphoton decay mode at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, enabling a uniquely precise measurement of the top-squark mass. The viability of the signal depends crucially on the branching ratio to diphotons. We compute the next-to-leading order QCD radiative corrections to stoponium annihilation decays to hadrons, photons, and Higgs scalar bosons. We find that the effect of thes…
The radiative seesaw model with an inert doublet has been shown to be attractive from a viewpoint of both neutrino masses and cold dark matter. However, if we apply this model to the explanation of the positron excess in the cosmic ray observed by PAMELA, a huge boost factor is required although it can be automatically explained that no anti-proton excess has been observed there. We consider an extension of the model to enhance the thermally averaged annihilation cross section without changing the features of the model favored by both the neutrino oscillation and the relic abundance of dark ma…
We present the Sommerfeld enhanced Dark Matter (DM) annihilation into gamma ray for a class of three-loop radiative neutrino mass models with large electroweak multiplets where the DM mass is in O(TeV) range. We show that in this model, the DM annihilation rate becomes more prominent for larger multiplets and it is already within the reach of currently operating Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs), High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.). Furthermore, Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA), which will begin operating in 2030, will improve this sensitivity by a factor of $\mathcal{O}{(…
For energies relevant to future linear colliders, \sqrt{s} >~ 500 GeV, the WW fusion channel dominates the Higgs boson production cross section e+e- -> \barννh^0. We have calculated the one-loop corrections to this process due to fermion and sfermion loops in the context of the MSSM. As a special case, the contribution of the fermion loops in the SM has also been studied. In general, the correction is negative and sizeable of the order of 10%, the bulk of it being due to fermion loops.
With the perturbative QCD approach based on $k_T$ factorization, we study the pure annihilation type radiative decays $B^0 \to ϕγ$ and $B^0\to J/ψγ$. We find that the branching ratio of $B^0 \to ϕγ$ is $(2.7^{+0.3+1.2}_{-0.6-0.6})\times10^{-11}$, which is too small to be measured in the current $B$ factories of BaBar and Belle. The branching ratio of $B^0\to J/ψγ$ is $({4.5^{+0.6+0.7}_{-0.5-0.6}})\times10^{-7}$, which is just at the corner of being observable in the $B$ factories. A larger branching ratio $BR(B_s^0 \to J/ψγ) \simeq 5 \times 10^{-6}$ is also predicted. These decay modes will he…
We consider the $π^+π^-π_0γ$ final state in electron-positron annihilation at cms energies not far from the threshold. Both initial and final state radiations of the hard photon is considered but without interference between them. The amplitude for the final state radiation is obtained by using the effective Wess-Zumino-Witten Lagrangian for pion-photon interactions valid for low energies. In real experiments energies are never such small that $ρ$ and $ω$ mesons would have negligible effect. So a phenomenological Breit-Wigner factor is introduced in the final state radiation amplitude to accou…
For energies relevant to future linear colliders, $\sqrt{s} \gsim 500$ GeV, the WW fusion channel dominates the Higgs boson production cross section $e^+ e^- \to \barν νh^0$. We have calculated the one-loop corrections to this process due to fermion and sfermion loops in the context of the MSSM. As a special case, the contribution of the fermion loops in the SM has also been studied. In general, the correction is negative and sizeable of the order of 10 percent, the bulk of it being due to fermion loops.
We calculate the spin density matrix of top quark pairs for the reaction $e^+e^-\to t\bar{t}X$ to order $α_s$. As an application we show next-to-leading order results for a variety of spin observables for the $t\bar{t}$ system. These include the top quark and antiquark polarizations and $t\bar{t}$ spin-spin correlations as a function of the center-of-mass energy and of the top quark scattering angle for arbitrary longitudinal polarization of the electron/positron beam.
Electron-positron annihilation into hadrons plus an energetic photon from initial state radiation allows the hadronic cross-section to be measured over a wide range of energies. The full next-to-leading order QED corrections for the cross-section for e^+ e^- annihilation into a real tagged photon and a virtual photon converting into hadrons are calculated where the tagged photon is radiated off the initial electron or positron. This includes virtual and soft photon corrections to the process e^+ e^- \to γ+γ^* and the emission of two real hard photons: e^+ e^- \to γ+ γ+ γ^*. A Monte Carlo gener…
Recently, various cross sections of e+e- annihilation into hadrons were accurately measured in the energy range from 0.37 to 1.39 GeV with the CMD-2 detector at the VEPP-2M collider. In the pi+pi- channel a systematic uncertainty of 0.6% has been achieved. A Monte-Carlo Generator Photon Jets (MCGPJ) was developed to simulate events of the Bhabha scattering as well as production of two charged pions, kaons and muons. Based on the formalism of Structure Functions, the leading logarithmic contributions related to the emission of photon jets in the collinear region are incorporated into the MC gen…
We propose measurements of the deeply virtual Compton amplitude (DVCS), gamma* to H H-bar gamma, in the timelike t = (p_{H} + p_{H-bar})^2 > 0 kinematic domain which is accessible at electron-positron colliders via the radiative annihilation process e+ e- to H H-bar gamma. These processes allow the measurement of timelike deeply virtual Compton scattering for a variety of H H-bar hadron pairs such as pi+ pi-, K+ K-, and D D-bar as well as p p-bar. As in the conventional spacelike DVCS, there are interfering coherent amplitudes contributing to the timelike processes involving C= - form factors.…
We have calculated the complete electroweak O(alpha) radiative corrections to the single Higgs-boson production processes e+ e- --> nu_l anti-nu_l H (l=e,mu,tau) in the electroweak Standard Model. Initial-state radiation beyond O(alpha) is included in the structure-function approach. The calculation of the corrections is briefly described, and numerical results are presented for the total cross section. In the G_mu scheme, the bulk of the corrections is due to initial-state radiation, which affects the cross section at the level of -7% at high energies and even more in the ZH threshold region.…
We investigate the physics potential of the annihilation decays $\bar{B}^0_{s,d} \to J/ψ$ $γ$ in the Standard Model and beyond. In naive factorization approach, the branching ratios are estimated to be $\mathcal{B}(\bar{B}^0_s \to J/ψγ)=1.40\times 10^{-6}$ and $\mathcal{B}(\bar{B}^0_d \to J/ψγ)=5.29\times 10^{-8}$. In the framework of QCD factorization, we compute the non-factorizable corrections and get $\mathcal{B}(\bar{B}^0_s \to J/ψγ) = 2.11\times10^{-7}$, $\mathcal{B}(\bar{B}^0_d \to J/ψγ) =7.65\times10^{-9}$. Future measurements of these decays would be useful for testing the factorizati…
We present the full one-loop SUSY-QCD corrections to stop-antistop annihilation into gluons and light quarks within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model including Sommerfeld enhancement effects from the exchange of multiple gluons between the incoming particles. These corrections are important as stop (co)annihilation becomes the dominant contribution to the relic density for scenarios with a small mass difference between the neutralino and the stop which are less constrained by current LHC searches and consistent with the observation of a 125 GeV SM-like Higgs boson. We discuss important…
The most dramatic "Sommerfeld enhancements" of neutral-wino-pair annihilation occur when the wino mass is tuned to near critical values where there is a zero-energy S-wave resonance at the neutral-wino-pair threshold. If the wino mass is larger than the critical value, the resonance is a wino-pair bound state. If the wino mass is near a critical value, low-energy winos can be described by a zero-range effective field theory in which the winos interact nonperturbatively through a contact interaction. The parameters of the zero-range effective field theory can be determined by matching wino scat…
Most previous calculations of the annihilation decay rates of heavy quarkonium were based on factorization assumptions that were unproven and, in some cases, even incorrect. The recent development of a general factorization formula for heavy quarkonium annihilation rates has provided a rigorous theoretical foundation for such calculations. The factorization formula is based on the use of the effective field theory NRQCD to factor the decay rate into short-distance coefficients that can be calculated in perturbation theory and long-distance matrix elements that can be computed using lattice sim…
We consider the double-radiative decays of heavy-light QED and QCD atoms, $μ^+ e^- \to γγ$ and $\bar{B}^{0}_s \to γγ$. Especially, we take under scrutiny contributions coming from operators that vanish on the free-quark mass shell. We show that by field redefinitions these operators are converted into contact terms attached to the bound state dynamics. A net off-shell contribution is suppressed with respect to the effect of the well known flavour-changing magnetic-moment operator by the bound-state binding factor. The negligible off-shellness of the weakly bound QED atoms becomes more relevant…
We estimate the electromagnetic decay rates of $χ_{c0}\rightarrow γγ$ and $χ_{c2}\rightarrowγγ$ by taking into account both relativistic and QCD radiative corrections. The decay rates are derived in the Bethe-Salpeter formalism and the QCD radiative corrections are included in accordance with factorization assumption. Using a QCD-inspired interquark potential, we obtain relativistic BS wavefunctions of $χ_{c0}$ and $χ_{c2}$ by solving BS equations for the corresponding $^{2S+1}L_J$ states. Our numerical result for the ratio $R=\frac{Γ(χ_{c0}\rightarrowγγ)}{Γ(χ_{c2} \rightarrowγγ)}$ is about $1…
We argue that WIMP dark matter can annihilate via long-lived "WIMPonium" bound states in reasonable particle physics models of dark matter (DM). WIMPonium bound states can occur at or near threshold leading to substantial enhancements in the DM annihilation rate, closely related to the Sommerfeld effect. Large "boost factor" amplifications in the annihilation rate can thus occur without large density enhancements, possibly preferring colder less dense objects such as dwarf galaxies as locations for indirect DM searches. The radiative capture to and transitions among the WIMPonium states generi…
We study charmless pure annihilation type radiative B decays within the QCD factorization approach. After adding the vertex corrections to the naive factorization approach, we find that the branching ratios of $\bar{B}^0_d\toϕγ$, $\bar{B}^0_s\toρ^0γ$ and $\bar{B}^0_s\toωγ$ within the standard model are at the order of $\mathcal{O}(10^{-12})$, $\mathcal{O}(10^{-10})$ and $\mathcal{O}(10^{-11})$, respectively. The smallness of these decays in the standard model makes them sensitive probes of flavor physics beyond the standard model. To explore their physics potential, we have estimated the contr…
We propose two-loop neutrino mass model with gauged hidden $U(1)$ symmetry, and discuss a Majorana type of dark matter candidate that has semi-annihilation processes in the relic density as well as lepton flavor violations and muon anomalous magnetic moment. Also, we demonstrate global analysis to satisfy neutrino oscillation data, lepton flavor violations, and relic density of dark matter candidate and show that semi-annihilation modes play a crucial role in finding observed relic density.
A conservative upper bound on the total dark matter (DM) annihilation rate can be obtained by constraining the appearance rate of the annihilation products which are hardest to detect. The production of neutrinos, via the process $χχ\to \barνν$, has thus been used to set a strong general bound on the dark matter annihilation rate. However, Standard Model radiative corrections to this process will inevitably produce photons which may be easier to detect. We present an explicit calculation of the branching ratios for the electroweak bremsstrahlung processes $χχ\to \barννZ$ and $χχ\to \barνe W$. …
The large decay rate observed by Belle for $B^+\toψ(3770)K^+$, which is comparable to $B^+\toψ(3686)K^+$, might indicate either an unexpectedly large S-D mixing angle $|θ|\approx 40^o$ or the leading role of the color-octet mechanism in D-wave charmonium production in B decay. By calculating the production rate of $ψ(3770)$ in the continuum $e^+e^-$ annihilation at $\sqrt{s}=10.6$ GeV with these two possible approaches (i.e. the large S-D mixing and the color-octet mechanism), we show that the measurement for this process at Belle and BaBar may provide a clear cut clarification for the two app…
ZFITTER is a Fortran program for the calculation of fermion pair production and radiative corrections at high energy e+e- colliders; it is also suitable for other applications where electroweak radiative corrections appear. ZFITTER is based on a semi-analytical approach to the calculation of radiative corrections in the Standard Model. We present a summary of new features of the ZFITTER program version 6.42 compared to version 6.21. The most important additions are: (i) some higher-order QED corrections to fermion pair production, (ii) electroweak one-loop corrections to atomic parity violatio…
We examine annihilation of light bosonic Dark Matter into pair of photons in model-independent way. We consider the simplest generic Lagrangian describing such process and then compare results to the available experimental data. Then we match our results with particular Dark matter models and determine possible constrains onto parameter space of those models.
We investigate the radiative $B_{c} \to D_{s1} γ$ transition in the framework of QCD sum rules. In particular, we calculate the transition form factors responsible for this decay in both weak annihilation and electromagnetic penguin channels using the quark condensate, mixed and two-gluon condensate diagrams as well as propagation of the soft quark in the electromagnetic field as non-perturbative corrections. These form factors are then used to estimate the branching ratios of the channels under consideration. The total branching ratio of the $B_{c} \to D_{s1} γ$ transition is obtained to be i…
